About this episode
Ep 64: Maintaining a Golf Course With Green Island Country Club Everyone who plays golf asks the same questions...how were the greens rolling? what were the fairway conditions? did the bunkers have sand? was there any poa on the greens? why don't they fix that? why are they punching this time of year? While all reasonable questions, not all are straight forward answers. We brought on Green Island Country Club's Class A Superintendent, Garrett Tillman, to deep dive all things golf course agronomy.Garrett launched a Golf Agronomy Instagram page for Green Island Country Club two years ago, and it has since taken off to be one of the most interesting pages in golf. They communicate all projects, updates, and provide behind the scenes looks at what is really going on to maintain a golf course.Stay PLUG'd by following @pleaseletusgolf on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok - Listen/Subscribe/Follow to Please Let Us Golf, The Podcast, on Apple and Spotify.Head over to pleaseletusgolf.com to Shop the best golf logo, apparel, and accessories on Planet Earth. #golfer #golfing #golfers #ytgolf #golfaddict #golfswing #golflife #golfdebate #pleaseletusgolf #golferslife #golfreviews #podcast #golfpodcast #sportspodcast #golfadvice #golftips #golfcourse #golfpod #golfcontent #golfers #golftrip #golfcoursedesign #golfarchitecture #columbus #columbusgeorgia #greenisland #superintendent #agronomy #golfcoursemaintenance
