I'm Cory with the story. 18-year-old Lucas Leon from Gallatin, Tennessee just got the boot from American Idol after his final spin on Disney night. He tackled Life as a highway that rascal flats jammed from cars, but landed in the bottom with Kindle Innskeep and both headed home. In his exit note, Leon kept it real and grateful for the whole ride, saying fans have only scratched the surface of his talent. He spired up to drop more music and chased that gold, promising everyone he'll be back in the spotlight soon. Judges fell for him early when he auditioned, with his original track Fall in Love, Someday. Luke Bryan strayed compared the kid to his own son Bo, and all three gave him a yes to keep rolling. His covers of Georgia owe my mind, the house that built me, and just to see you smile, turn heads all season. Meanwhile, the top seven Hannah Harper, Daniel Stahlworth, Keitha Richardson, Jordan McCullough, Chris Tonseth, Brooks Rosser, and Braden.
