Ar: تحت أضواء خافتة تومض بين الحين والآخر، وتحت سقف ملموس يطوي ضوضاء الخارج، كان زايد يتحرك بخفة داخل أروقة السوق القائم في القبو تحت الأرض.
En: Under dim lights that flickered occasionally, and beneath a concrete ceiling that muffled the noise of the outside, Zayed moved swiftly within the corridors of the market situated in the underground basement.

Ar: كانت الأيام شتوية باردة، والأجواء في الخارج لا ترحم.
En: The days were cold and wintry, and the atmosphere outside was unforgiving.
