Louisville Basketball Assistant Coach to Indiana

0:00On March 25, Louisville men's basketball just saw its first big offseason move. Assistant coach Thomas Carr is heading to Indiana for a similar role on their staff. Multiple reports confirmed the news, first broken by Jeff Goodman of the field of 68. Carr worked the last four seasons under head coach Pat Kelsey. That includes the past two years right here at Louisville and the two before that at Charleston. He earned plenty of praise for his recruiting reach and player relationships. Back in January, he made silver waves media's list of the top 100 most impactful high-major assistance for his Louisville work. This departure kicks off what looks like a busy summer of changes for the Cardinals program. Expect more shifts as teams across college hoops start reshaving their benches for next season.
