Live TV Animal Mishaps: Today Show's Wild Wildlife

0:00It's April 2nd. You're listening to Entertainment and celebrity news today, AI-powered pop culture updates. I'm Corey with The Story. A Today's show reporter just found out why you never mess with animals on live TV. Taylor Haines was touring the Sydney Fish Markets on Friday, showing off a tank of live crabs, when a worker handed her a massive one to hold. She leaned in for a quick kiss on its head, but that crab wasn't having it. Haines escalated fast as the crab clamped down hard on her finger with its giant pincer. Taylor yanked back in shock, barely keeping the thing from hitting the ground while the segment wrapped up in total disarray. Her screams of pain had the studio hosts cracking up, turning a simple market cross into pure comedy gold. Viewers loved it too, with clips blowing up online for that viral cringe factor. This ain't the first time today folks have tangled with critters. Back in 2023, weather guy Tim Davies dodged a parrot trying to smooch his face during a Queensland bird report.

1:00And veteran Steve Jacobs, he got jumped by a rooster in 2008 at a farm, then nipped by a guinea pig on the finger in 2016 while chatting pet dates. Live TV keeps delivering these wild animal moments, proving that old entertainment rules still hold strong every time.
