We were reminiscing about how we take like 30 pounds distances. And we would just take, it put it in a pickup truck and take a bunch of like soil, like potting soil from the nursery, dump it on top and then put a whole bunch of like one and three gallon containers. And I'd get me in my farm worker and we'd drive down the road about four hours.

But the, once I did that, I thought my VPD was pretty close. But once you could have a dial in 100% of the time, man, it's fucking fat, man.

6:04So it's just where you get all those, man, where'd you get all those great genetics? I asked people. Just bust them balls. Cause chat, let me know earlier, what the hell is that? That's what I was talking about. I was talking about the last guy who was bustin my balls before the show, cause I'm like, I'm gonna start some new seeds. You know, I'm looking for some ski to ask. I'm not super happy with the lemon skunk Finos I got. They're not horrible, but I can do better. So I found an old pack, canarato, canarato, super silver, haze, regular seeds. These are probably new. And your silver is my best mark. Don't you close them, man. Wasn't that into close the new stuff? Won't you grow some trendy stuff, man? I think this, I think if I pull off this, that I'm gonna bring it, I don't know if you could bring it back. But I remember this being an awesome strain. It should be, it should be just as good as any new trendy stuff. Does anybody in check grown super silver haze? Yeah, in the 90s, man. The chair actually broke. I was in here, boss. I want to talk to the crew first, because I did something I guess on Instagram. I do a bunch of content. It gets cut up. But one of them was about cloning. And I gave some cloning tips and got yelled at, man, because I don't take clones from the top. Grimbo, you just see my bed, right? Yes. Do me a favor. Is it hard to go over there and with the veg? That's all good. And they're huge. And when you have a healthy veg, the tops are that big. Yeah. They're big. So if you're going to cut them down, you've cut all the foliage off. And then you've got this giant amount of green or whatever to support. I'll go underneath there. I won't take the tipping top. I'll go underneath and not the apical Murray's there.

14:11My understanding that I'm not getting all the hormones. But I'll get a nice little cut. I can fit 15, 20 of them in a cloning chamber. And I get 90%. Except for this one goddamn eye poppy, man. So, we are good to go on your mark. All right. Let's get into cloning, advanced cloning techniques for super hard to root. I don't know. I mean, that's usually everything with this plant is fairly easy to root in my experience. Like 90% of the time, every once in a while, I'd come across one that just either didn't want to or it takes three weeks plus. And then I really have to judge, do I want to keep this thing around? Hi, Poppy. Hi, Poppy, man. I got that cut. I got the Mac in the eye, Poppy. That probably is beautiful. I think it must have some of the, so he's got similar characteristics to the Mac, not as frosty. I wanted to clone it, man.

19:12Dude, it was so hard. I'll get, I mean, maybe I'll lose a clone or two out of a chamber, but not if I had cut good quality ones. This I cut three beautiful ones, lost three of them. I ended up getting one clone to root finally, man. But I'm like, they're not, you know, what do we talk about? Six different continents these plants come from. All genetics aren't created equal when it comes to cloning and chat hop in. You let me not. Yeah, I got a tip here. Actually, we got tech from DTCVT genetics. And this, this is a good one. If you know your best trick is to take double or even triple what you need. The fact is if you already have a robust cloning and propagation setup and procedure, there isn't too much additional magic you can whip up for a sub and cultivar. But I do like that tip. Take a lot. If you know not all of them are going to root, I mean, it's so hard for me to kill the ones that actually took the time to root and still look beautiful. Man, I was going to shift, Grandpa, you had a bubble cloner somewhere I saw. Yeah.

20:12That is my hard to root ones. I will put in a bubble cloner. I am so surprised. It will just hang out for weeks. And then after a couple weeks, it will just get beautiful roots. So why? I mean, a bubble cloner real quick. It is a clone machine, but it provides, it's missed from an air stone that bubbles up, you know, and constantly is going to keep an oxygen and moisture solution around the stems. You're going to put a, oh, we're trying to find solution in there. We're trying to find solution in there. Talk amongst yourselves. And yeah, the other setup is a grandpa, actually another link in there of the type that you use. You use a submerged pump and it's going to have what a manifold and sprayers, easy clone, is a popular brand of it. And that's another type of machine. Is this the air machine? Yeah. Yeah, there you go. This guy's homemade, doing, there's plenty of videos on making one yourself. He's using like cool noodle foam to get it going. They're not that expensive. Making them yourself is, that's not too bad either, but I hate cutting plastic, you know what I'm saying? But yeah, what do you got?

21:12What do you got, Scotty? You see that's the other, that's the type that I've used before the lot of excess, but they have the root points. I don't know. Why do you think it's any better than a, a cut kit tray with, you know, irregular root bugs? You just put them in there. They never wilt. You don't need to lid on them and you don't touch them for weeks. You know, maybe a week or two. There you go, man. That's beautiful. Um, this, maybe I watched that video, but I got some of these, this is a bus tub from Amazon. And this is a migraash, not a migraal. And then you just get these, cut them out. Yeah, easy, man. And then it's just got a few air stones in there. You don't need this many, but I got it now. Don't fetish as dude would say. Well, there are certain things. There are certain failure points to the system. If the pH gets too out of whack, water gets water. What failure point, man? This thing is the only failure point right here at this pump. Oh, and if you're water solution, it gets pretty warm. Your pump alone will help, will create some heat in the water, depending on where you keep it.

22:15You can definitely get some root rot or flops. The pump's that in the water. Sorry, Hannah. Yeah, but I know. I'm just fine. It does pump, yeah, it does pump warmer air through, but hey, we got Jair or Aaron. Damn it. I'm sorry. It's just that. Jair and Aaron, man. And Jair and, uh, two days, or two, 12 days in the easy quarter. I would use an easy cloner if I was going into hydro setups. Um, I get roots just this way. I mean, regular plugs. Yeah. Oh, I'm sorry. You wouldn't want to put that in the soloco? No, you totally could. Hell, yes. They're just more apical. That's pretty nice looking there. That's cool. It's like a whatever system. I can give some tips on also just extra things to do. Obviously you want your, let's assume in your environment style then 80% plus humidity. Temperatures, I'm usually doing 80 to 85, right? If you're there, my humidity might even be up at 80s or almost 90s. Is that early points when I take my clothes?

23:16Um, don't need the language, please, man. All right. Tell me in VP was not just skinned. Yeah, he's got to be super human. I, uh, the heat mat for me is the big deal. Once I started having a heat mat and it was able to keep, you know, really good humidity inside the dome. He's put a little bit of water on the bottom. I had great results. Um, but there are, be careful though, the heat mat, did you see producer Trim Shady made a post the real, did you see about this and he isn't having good success and when he took his clothes, they weren't looking good. And he had his heat mat turned up to high and he had his light turned up to 10. I'm assuming he's using AC infinity skewer has a one through 10 light setting. Yeah, like that thing looks like, that's too much, man. And he, I'm rarely using my heat mat on high unless like I'm in a really like a cool area. That will take my indoor in my dome. That will take it up really high. And he ended up turning the light down to it too. And on those lights is way too high for clone. Clones don't need much light. So adding those stressors definitely will help a hard to root clone.

24:17You know what I mean? Hard to root strain. Yeah. Yeah. It's very, it's pretty easy. What do you do about 100 ppfd? Maybe a hundred ppfd I think is good. I think 150 max. And like I said, it is I hate to say this man. Strain dependent. Some like, you know, some basses all hell. Some like a lot of light. Some don't. But another tip would be if you're taking more than you usually do, you know, I don't like to cry out my clone dome. I do this anyway. Trim your leaves back. Trim my leaves back about 30% less area for transpiration, transpiration to come off the leaf. And it keeps the dome a little, a little bit neater, if you will. I don't know if Scottie likes this one. I use a product from Green Planet called Vitafribe. It's basically vitamin B1 and a little bit of potassium. So the claim, you know, we're not a B1 pro. I do, I do know it's what plants crave though, Scotty. I do know that. Hang on. I'm not above that. Every now and again, as a matter of fact, if we are talking about a hard to root strain,

25:18I will put a tiny little bit of super thrive in the, you know, along with the clone X. And I do think there's something with that. That's a B vitamin solution. I don't know what else is in there, man. But I am mean does. I mean is says the excess of thiamine will protect young plants from fungal diseases like pithium and exaggerate, exaggerate nutrient uptake says the kick of potassium because it's a zero, zero one on potassium will encourage early root simulation. So that's one thing. I don't really, so how I use it quickly, I will water my mother plant with it for three to four waterings. No harm there. Just make sure it's happy as hell. And then after I take my cuts from the plant, I also soak those cuts in a solution of my cloning solution and vitamin D own intuition. So they suck them right up. So there's two things I'm definitely going to do. Do you put a little bit of recharge in there? And you want to hurt my feelings if you don't, sir. My gross style is a thing. Nothing, but you're telling me everything. I know it's okay. I don't use recharge until I get until I get the roots.

26:20And I know you're going to say I'm leaving the vacancy sign up. No, you probably sterilize your cues, all right. You got like an autoclave or something. Yeah, I heard of a set UV sterilization in the dull of the balls. Man, it is. That is a good tip. It takes just a pinch, man. That tiny is a little bit. And what you're trying to do is get bacteria to crowd out any bad bacteria or pathogens that are dormant and may show up. And man, you got that micro-risy. So as soon as that root protrudes or whatever and then hits a micro-risy spore, it is ready. It invaginates itself. It inoculates the whole plant. Then every other root from that plant, so theoretically every other root, there's a chance for the micro-risy or the micro-risy just grows around it as fast as the root grows. Man, it's the best time to inoculate. Come up, time Jay, and Mr. Tim Bauer. Can I give a grow shout out real quick? Yeah.

27:20So Trim Shady was having problems with his plants. And he went over to realdgc.com and a whole crew of grow gangsters showed up and gave him a bunch of good advice. He says update 330 this morning, check my clones. Middle is standing up. And so, yeah, shout out realdgc. So go about realdgc.com. I still play as I send people all the time, fix your grow fast. The grow gangsters. Yeah, because we're not sure if I should, I used to post weed on Instagram. I say used to because I have no, yeah, my account is gone. Safe place to post your nucks. Yeah, another tip here, lastly, is I like to put, if you can, you know, if the AC Infinity Cologne Dome setup has the lights, the dome, the heat mat, everything, you can put it anywhere. Essentially your cloning nursery could be anywhere. I even put it on my kitchen island sometimes with a pink hung table on my kitchen, so I, I'm walking by it all the time. I see it. I'm constantly looking at my high grometer with a pretty, do you just say you have a pink hung table in your kitchen?

28:21Is it married man with children? I want to party with this guy. I do want to party with him. Bate, long story short, unless you're monitoring it remotely with a high grometer that sends notifications to your phone. I have a little high grometer that sits in there with the plants. I like to constantly leave it and he's a little scored score. The guy that heat mat should be turned down, it should turn up this a little bit. Just don't let him get out of mind. If things environmental conditions go south in a clone dome, things will happen quickly to your plants going south as well. Like I said, I have seen them depending on where you keep it. If the water gets too warm in a small volume, not a lot of buffering, what does that thing hold? A couple gallons maybe. You can get a lot of buffers. Buffers.

I was just trying to get this in really quick, because if you're water, if you're a plant, plant is not super well hydrated, and it tries to suck up water, the way it normally does through that stem, and it sucks air up, then the clone's gonna die or won't root. But if you have some gel there, then it's key for from sucking that air up. Well, Kat says, I don't use cloning gels or powders. I just sanitize my cloner solution and add a very low rate of bloom nutrients. You can use you got a cloner, man. That's what I'm saying. You don't eat dip on when you have a cloner. You just put them in there. Yeah, but there are lickplonics as a liquid rooting hormone, as well as a slight bit, I believe, of probably the potassium and nitrogen. Totally Toledo. I had bad luck with an aeroponic cloner, 25% successful rate, had water at 71 degrees, pH at 6.

40:30I don't know what I did wrong with the aeroponic doing. Aeroponic doing plugs. Oh, again, plugs, I got 100%. Oh, God, Janie plugs. Yeah. And it's weird, man, because I found it really easy. I said, I only meant I have a lid. Yes, Kenny. What's weird about those is they do some of them will arute immediately, and then others take a little bit better. But they all run when they do. They blow the fuck up. Yeah. It is true. You can have them sitting there for two, three weeks. Man. And first off, that's pretty cool, because they just chill there. You can take them and put them right in a one gallon after, you know, they will stay alive. Can we address this night? Can we address this night sky Kenny's first like real on camera? I don't recall having Kenny that so you've been on camera before, man. Yeah, he's been on camera, but I don't know if he's going to guest like this. I don't know. And I have seen those corner machines come with domes. I guess it depends on where you're keeping it. When I cat, what's the humidity at? I don't need a dome.

43:31You don't understand. If I take the dome off my clothes and in plugs, quickly they will start to get very unhappy and lay down. If we did that in Denver, it'd be, it's day to be destroyed. I imagine that's a. A cloning upper main has the right barometrics. There ain't no dome on this cloner. All right. I'm sick of all these domes on his mother. Definitely a dominous cloner, man. Red weasel throw them. You're a fall. I like the contrast paper. And you want it to splash. You don't want to put the cut in the water. You want it to. That's the bubble. And then you've got a bunch of air stones or a couple of air stones that are making these bubbles come up. And when the bubbles break, that's where the stem is supposed to be. That's where you get to super high performance. I just come into help trim right there.
