Lady Gaga Cancels Montreal Show, Tour Continues

0:00It's April 7, entertainment and celebrity news. Today starts now, AI-powered and spotlight-ready. I'm Cory with the story, Lady Gaga's sideline by an upper respiratory infection, forcing her to cancel the final show of her mayhem ball tour in Montreal. Her doctor urged her to sit this one out, and she agreed she couldn't deliver the high-energy performance fans expect. This came after two successful nights there on April 2nd and 3rd. The infection hit a few days before, and despite pushing through rest and recovery, it only worsened. Gaga's been grinding on this tour since July, knocking out over 80 dates across North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan. She even postponed to Miami gig earlier this year, over vocal strain risks. Fans and Quebec were gutted, but Gaga hit social media with a heartfelt apology, stressing how tough the call was. She's all about protecting her voice for the long haul, knowing this shows brutal demands on her body and pipes. No one's mad.

1:00Everyone gets health, comes first. The tour is still rolling strong, with back-to-back dates set for St. Paul, Minnesota, on April 9th and 10th, wrapping up in Madison Square Garden. On April 13th, it's already her biggest earner ever, topping charts as the highest-grossing pop tour by a woman this year. Expect Gaga back fiercer than ever, channeling that setback into even bigger moments ahead.
