Knife, Rolex, and a Friendship Lost | Leicester News

A 19-year-old, Harper Dennis, has been jailed for ten years after fatally stabbing his friend Khaleed Oladipo five times in the chest over a fake Rolex and a disputed debt. Though found not guilty of murder, he was convicted of manslaughter and possessing an offensive weapon. The judge described Dennis’s actions as deliberate and violent, contradicting his self-defense claims backed by CCTV showing him fleeing. Oladipo’s grieving family described their mother as emotionally shattered, their home now silent without his laughter. This tragic case underscores how quickly online friendships can turn deadly when money, betrayal, and weapons collide.
