I'm on your host, Blessing at a junior joining me is the legend, Greg Miller. What else am I? You are the kind of funny game showdown champion. Sorry, four four time, four time, four time champion of team orange. Why did Tim make this? If you're not, I'm wearing the new team orange shirt that for some reason this company refuses to promote, to promote, go to kind of funny.com slash store right now. You can buy your copy. If you're watching live, I'm giving away one in the Twitch chat right now because I waited on the phone with Citibank for 43 minutes.

Here we go. The credit cards should work now. They say, somebody please fact check. I've got a lot of how many actual championships this man has. This is it. Why me the shirt says it all for the world champion T-shirt. Of course, it's going through. If you're in the Twitch chat right now, you can, you can enter us doing that. Show them the back bear. That's my favorite part. World tour right there, 2026, 940 packs west Seattle, Washington, 912, Blizzcon, Anaheim, California, 1012 to 1016, top 100 games. San Francisco, California, November 14th. Rogers wedding, New York, New York. All right. Just you had that fourth one. That's going to be a fun one. Is there, are you going to celebrate with me at the wedding? I mean, what, what does that look like? You have a, that means it just like how top 100 is the pre show to us doing the parade. The team orange parade. Rogers wedding is the pre show to you and me at that reception slash after party. Okay. Making Rogers mom carrying me around on a chair. Oh, you know, you have me. Other people can help you can help me. I want, I need to see Rogers mom right here has Roger approved it. Why would I talk to Roger about approving his mom? What kind of weird family do you have?

You know, then you was at his wedding. You know, or had his reception, which is more appropriate than the way. You already know what this reception is going to be like. Right. A bunch of people board out of their goers. All right. You're bored at a reception. You're going to sit there and be pushing the cake around with their four of me like, what could, could we have something fun? And that's when I grabbed the microphone. I say you probably didn't know you were in the same room as royalty. And then I'll turn to Roger. I, they probably didn't know because you refused to promote the t-shirt. You refused to make it. I mean, it's that thing how many times how many times I'm sure I have to win. Yeah, but part time. You know what I mean? That's the problem with team purple. Yeah. You get a, you can't have two halves of team purple. You can't, it's, it's making it. They put the idea out of all the time. Make him do it. But you just want to be sure. I think you got to be on the next time we do it. You got to hide it. That's the master of hype. Still like Mike. Hi, bless. It's great to see you home. I really like this old watch jacket. Thank you, big dog. I'm channeling my inner bless. I bought two jackets this year because of you. Really? And one before that looked like I was Leon from raccoons.

I love that for you. And this one we got to make them wear. This was a whole conversation on the Wizcon panel. Yeah, second time wearing it. He's doing it. He has to commit. He can't just buy it and throw it away. Yeah. I mean, if you don't throw it away, just give it to me. I'll throw it in the dryer a few times. I'll get it to take it. I don't get that. You already shrieked that gene jacket. I'm going to break it. I'll get that. I'll get that. I'll get that. I'll get that. I'll get that. I'll get that. I'll get that. I'll get that. I'll get that. I'll get that. Also joining us is the best voice in the business. The one and only Paris Lilly. Good morning, gentlemen. I'm on a workshop for three months. I don't know what I'm going to do. What do you want me to do? What do you want me to do, Paris? I literally was. I was in the great state of Kentucky for like two weeks just recently. So I hear you. I was bourbon. But a lot. Yeah. That's my guy. It was needed. Oh, yeah. Of course, Paris. You're joining us because today's episode is all about the kind of funny, fancy, critic check-in. Of course, if you're watching live, you can be a part of the show by super chatting in over on YouTube. Let's go to your comp, slash kind of funny games.

Remember, you couldn't do this. That our producers over on patreon.com slash kind of funny. So thank you to Omega Buster, the Laney, the song, twining and Michael Pizoevento. For now, let's begin with the topic of the show. It's our fantasy, critic, check-in. I got a super chat question for those watching live. Who's your prediction on who's going to win it all? Greg, what's the link that people can go to to see? Kind of funny.com slash. KF Lee. KF league. I got I'll give us kind of a dot com slash league that's why I dropped you right onto our what what year of this five. Six year doing this. I think this is our six year six year deals. Yeah, yeah, because I we started doing it when I joined the company so I was 2020 so I imagine this is your number six. You brought it. You're on I changed so much at this company. You did. Uh, of course go to kind of a dot com slash league if you want to see the page for our fantasy critic. If you're unfamiliar with fantasy critic is just like football, fantasy critic where instead of doing football teams, fantasy critic. Fantasy Lee. That's what I was like. It's fantasy football. Fantasy. We are a very athletic focus.

They don't have football critics. But it's fantasy football. Not about what the critics saying about the. No, it isn't. Believe it or not. It's not the stats. The thing they actually do on the field. No, fantasy critic is where we bet on games and how well they're going to do on it on not metacritic but open critic was which is like metacritic. They're a bit more open. A bit more of you are counted on open critic. We each assemble teams and whoever has the highest average critic score wins the league at the end of the year. We started our draft at the very beginning of the year where we draft a certain amount of games and then over the course of the year we have a hundred fake dollars though we used to bid on games and acquire games for our teams. Of course, if you're unfamiliar with it, you should go back and listen to our episode at the beginning of the year where we do the initial draft. That's going to bring you most up to date with what is happening and what the teams are and all that stuff. But this is the check in. Now of course, like I said, let us know who's your prediction on who's going to win it all. I'll start here with a super chat from at RetroLute who writes in and says, allow post-release

trades. Think of it as trading card packs. Your picking games is packs but you can trade the card pulls, review the games as well. Now this one comes in, I believe is a reference to some shenanigans, I'd say, that some people in the league tried to pull with a shenanigans. Mike, you tell me what they're shenanigans. You know, let me get on the phone. Oh, Roger. Yeah, yeah. This is my buddy Roger over here. He's calling. He said, you know, Mike, these weren't shenanigans. These were fair and honest trades of two games that we would like to have trades. We thought that this was an open trading market. We thought there was no regulations, no rules, no tariffs. Where did this come from? Can you tell me the two games that you're already trying to trade with each other? Are you one, Roger? Yeah, I think I tried to trade Super Meat Boy. No, no, I tried to trade Forza Horizon 6 for Yakuza Kawami 3, which I wanted to pander to the audience. I'll explain my reasoning for this one. Yeah, sure, of course. I wanted to pander to the Yakuza. For the record, Yakuza Kawami 3 has a 74.

Yeah, that's because I want people to know. Forza have. That's a really good question. Let's see. Forza has a 91. Yes, that's an interesting trade. I wanted to pander to the audience to let them know I'm a Yakuza guy. And here's soon enough, I will play all the Yakuza's and I will own the Yakuza. There are no states and push Roger out of it here for this company. So I just wanted to make that clear this year. And so that's why that trade went through. Not because of any sort of point or any sort of shenanigans. And you decided you wanted to do this like a what about a month ago? Yeah, yeah. Not pre these games coming out. No, no. Playpost these games getting their scores. You know, bless in the science space that I'm from, you know, as Kevin will tell you, science goes far. You got to experiment. You got to press buttons. You got to try things. You got to see what will break the machine. But this is science. This is math. Argo was to push the fantasy critic to its limits by doing a trade of games that had already come out with scores. Sure. It wasn't on the math side. It was just to see what the system allowed. And it turns out, bless.

Why do you do this every year? I'm going to make this league fun. I try to make it fair. And you and Roger come through and try to break it every year. You know, bless. I don't want to put it on myself for drafting a full team on month one like an idiot and throwing the content as Roger said and being out of the conversation for an entire year. But you know, maybe it was my fault that I drafted a full team a month and a half. Yeah, maybe you shouldn't have done that. Yeah. Now, so drafted a pretty good team though. Thank you. And we're going to talk about that team. We're going to talk about each of the teams one by one. Of course, there's eight people participating in our fading secretically. Those people are Tim Geddes, Mike, me, Andy Cortez, Barrett, Barrett Lily, Barrett, Barrett Courtney, Greg Miller and Roger Piccorni. We're going to go team by team, starting at the bottom. And I'm going by actual points. Of course, your scores are highly determined by what game is how many games you have on your team that are actually out. And so this isn't really going to be a display of who's actually actually in the lead who's

going to win the whole thing. Sure, sure, sure. It's just a display of a lot. What's a lot of game left to play? A lot of game left to play. So starting at the bottom right now, in eighth place is the one and only Roger Piccorni, publisher named Barrett is my best friend. Their actual points they're sitting at right now is a 60, 60 total fantasy. No way they can win this. No way, Roger can win this. Now Roger's in a very interesting place because only one, two, three, four, five of Roger's games have released. He has five more games yet to release. The games that have released are trails in the sky. Second chapter. 92. 90 fucking two. Mike, where did he get this idea from? Yeah, you know, I'm actually on the phone with him right now. So I am talking with Roger. And he is very positive on his team. He's very high on this team. He actually shook off a lot of trades that I tried to get with him six months ago because he believed in this team so much. And it started with trails in the sky chapter two. He saw someone else panned into the JRPG audience and stole their swag.

And somebody's not mad at him for it. I was going to say Mike, how do you feel about that? I'm not average after that. That should have been my pick. Because if you remember, this was Roger's second pick here. He got Grand Theft Auto 6, which put him at the third selection. If I remember correctly, we rewind to January when we did this. And so that's two picks away from me getting that. And I would have secured that. And I still hold a grudge against Roger for that. And as you should for breaking my tooth and for also doing this. If he wasn't going to pick that up, that was going to be my second round pick. So if you didn't pick that round one, Mikey, like maybe you didn't deserve it. It's a lot of ifs. It's a lot of butts. It's a lot of what we don't play in my paper. Exactly. But I am mad at Roger. But man, bless. You all are for different reasons. Yes, Roger. He says this was a great selection. And this will pair up so well with GTA 6. I mean, no shit. It was a great selection. Great selection. Of course, if you are just joining us and don't follow the fantasy critic stuff. For every, for the critic score, once you get to 70, every point above, you get a point positively 70 below 70.

You get a negative. However, once you cross 90, the points start doubling. Yeah. So as you see, 92 gets some 24 points off of that because we're taking that two up to four. Yeah. Your goal is to get those games that are going to be the 90 range. And yeah, one of the games he has that we know is in the 90 range, this trails. There's another game on there that may or may not enter that range that we'll talk about in a second called GTA 6. But before we get there, the other released games he has here are Neo 3, which is sitting at a critic score of 85 getting him 15 points. Yakuza, Kawami 3 in Dark Ties, which is sitting at a 74 critic score, which got him four points. Orbital's sitting at an 82, which gets him 12 points and demon tides, which sits at an 86, 6, which gets him 16 points. Now a great fucking lineup right there. A great lineup. We then move on to the games that haven't come out from his lineup yet. Being Castlevania, Belmont's curse, Rayman Legends retold, dragons dog with two dark or risen final fantasy resonance in GTA 6. Paris, do you think the rest of us have a prayer against Roger McCorn, you steam right

now? We don't. And I actually want to point out a personal file that Mike was involved with Roger and myself. I got an unsolicited video call from Mike and Roger trying to sucker me into giving up control resonant for final fantasy resonance. And it was some other stuff too. I immediately said, having Mike on this call immediately invalidated it, I knew you're up to no good. I don't care what it is. I'm not doing the trade. But yeah, to the point, his lineup is just so good. And I mean, GTA 6, that's at least probably a 92 itself, right? Just that game. So I mean, I know they're projecting them that second, but he's my favorite, unfortunately, to win this whole thing. Yeah, I'd echo that. All right. Like a projection to when we should talk about that in a few, but I look at GTA 6 and you're talking about at least a 92. I'm thinking like a 95 96 right for that probably.

Yeah. And when you think about the points doubling after I think that's going to do a lot for him. I should shout out, mouse PI for hire was his counter pick. That got an 81. Of course, our counter picks. It's the reverse for points. And so he has minus 11 points because of the 81 there. Right. You're not picking a game. Someone else drafted. So you look at that draft lineup ago. I think either this game's not going to be good or more importantly, most of the time, this game's not coming out this year. And as far as Roger McCordy counter picks go, his best one so far. Yeah. Yeah. What did you do last year? I remember he cleared all these three at one point. Two. God is asked. Yeah. Could mouse PI for hire be the thing that keeps him from that number one spot? I don't see how. I mean, GTA, if it's just the bad and doesn't live up to the hype and you gotta, you gotta sure. But even then, I think GTA is going to end of the 80s. It doesn't live up to the hype, right? And so Belmont's curse looks incredibly solid. You imagine at least an 80 there. Rayman Legends retold. Tim won't shut up about it. At least an 80 there. Dragon's dog with two darker risen.

I don't know what the original dragon's dog, but did. I would imagine if this gets enough reviews, which it should. You'll be in a good spot. And final fantasy resin, it's going to be one of those great. Double Dragon's dog with two right now because I remember that game doing really well. That got an 87 on open critic. Yeah. And it's one of those like the only, you know, selfishly amongst us who are in a part of Roger's team. Like our only hope with that game is like it's so busy that yeah, maybe it doesn't get enough like scored reviews, right? Because I'm still confused, right? That's like the ultimate addition, but the darker risen parts, the DLC. Yeah. This is also coming to switch, but it's just like a new addition. It's kind of like the Witcher remaster, but then there's new content in there. Yeah. I think this is just a DLC expansion. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. It's getting fully packaged onto the switch port. That's finally coming. But yeah, it's like the DLC specifically. There is a super chat that we got in from the metal Falcon, right? Then it says it's between Roger and blessing. The both finished in the 120 to 130 range IMO, but our favorite Roger to win.

Honestly, I don't know if I'm going up against Roger like that, but I do appreciate the confidence in my team. We'll talk about that in a minute. We'll come back to this conversation when we talk about a good bless. Yeah. Um, a Castlevania Belmont's curse. I think that does have the potential to get to a 90 also. Really? Yeah. Close. Yeah. Cause like, have you guys have any of you played Dead Cells? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Like completion role credits, but like, yeah, I played it. That's an incredible game right there. And you're, you're pairing that with Castlevania, which already also has like a level of prestige, a level of history when you want to talk about games that score really well, that critics really love. I think that could be a match made in heaven for a game that gets up there on Metacritic as well. We had somebody write in either on the stu-shy, the subreddit or somewhere else, cause it's motion twin is like overseeing it. It's motion twin and evil empire is the developer there, but motion twins like consulting, the collaborate with Konami and evil empire on the title, and advisory role.

Yesterday, I think Tim misspoke and was like, oh, they're developing it where it is evil empire, developing it with motion twin talking and consulting. I think that's the same way that Dead Cells happened, wasn't it? Wasn't it? Both of them worked on Dead Cells together, and I think it was. I'm going off with somebody else said, these are not my game cells. Yeah, check. Well, this is Wikipedia left with one last chance, motion twin developed Dead Cells. Yeah, I thought it was the other developer, evil empire, evil empire. See, I thought evil empire did a lot of like the updates later. Like motion twin was the original developer and then evil empire was doing like a lot of the later stuff. Who did the rogue Prince of Persia? Great question. Is one of them did the rogue Prince of Persia as well? I think the other one did the rogue Prince of Persia. But is a lot of evil empire did the rogue Prince of Persia? He did, yeah. Okay. Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. All right, we got some more sub chats here. Oh, there's, I'm sorry, just evil empire on their page right now.

There's obviously Belmont's curse, rogue Prince of Persia, bro Tato, then all the expansions to Dead Cells. And the other thing we say that the ones that I know, Dead Cells, return to Calcivania, the Queen of the Sea, fatal falls, the bad sea. I mean, the road to Calcivania, that DLC got a 10 out of 10 for my life. This isn't me saying they're bad. I'm just saying yesterday, I think we misspoke giving too much credit to the Dead Cells stuff. Gotcha. Resolute right to the Super Chat saying, blesses blocking the trade to secure a win. Whereas Austin Creed, when we need him, there's also a few people talking about a trade dead line. I'm just, I'm just a Billy says Paris for the win. Also, is there a trade deadline? And then Solo Andre says, I think you should add a trade deadline after you actually have, okay, here's the thing about the trade is that not just me blocked the trade, when Mike and Roger submitted for the trade, it pings to all the members of the league and it asks you to vote. And one of the things that it makes very clear in the voting text is if this feels like that collusion, then you should vote no.

If it feels like they're trying to buff one of the teams and not make a fair trade, then this should be voted no. And so I think, I know I voted no, bear also voted no. I don't know if anybody else voted. I don't get notification. If I may, if I may, we don't have to worry about the trade system. The trade system is very well done on this. It's legit. It is very much like fantasy football where everybody gets pained and you all have to agree on them. We don't need a deadline. We don't need that. Yeah. Yeah. I was going to be a little bit of collute collute going on. I got shut down. Don't worry about it. A little collute collute. Collute collute. Um, let's move on from Roger's team and talk about our seventh place player currently, Greg Miller. Hi, how are you? Who is I fully expect to be the dead last. I'll just say it projects you for a shot for eight. You know, there's a lot to be said for what's going on on my team here. And we'll break it down game by game, but I mean, like, I have a first off, very happy

with my first three picks. Sarros was my number one pick in 87. That's 17 points. Marvel to confiding souls got an 85, 15 points. And that was a, when I made that one and then once it was locked in, you left in my face and we're like, I don't know about that one with live on the show. So I was happy to get away with that. It was one of my counter. Somebody counterpicked me on that. And then Colt of the hand, Lam wool Haven gets me in 86 16 points. A great start. Here's where the heart and I'm not even being a character like I often am on these kind of things. It was that thing of like once in a great, great, great while I give into the Tim Gettys, why not be spicy? Like why not be spicy? And so remember it's January. We know this team machine is coming. We know it's out there. It's like if you're going to do Half-Life 3, it feels like this would be a pretty great time. And so it is one of those that my fourth pick was on and out to me like half a Half-Life game with knowing what I was doing where either it's going to be it actually happens and

I get to go crazy on a stream when it's announced and act like I fucking stole fire from the gods or we're here and I just fucked myself. But even back then I was like, I can take one zero. I can fuck myself on this no big deal. I think I'm getting away with something picking Pokemon and wind and waves which was just Pokemon Gen 10 back then because I'm like, it's time in the rotation for there to be a Pokemon game this year. Not to bowl it on counterfeit and then there you go. Boom, it is not happening this year, which is like, oh fuck, that's what I'm like, obviously when all the announces are happening. I'm like, oh fuck, that sucks. I want to ask a question to Tara Silly. Paris, was Greg Crazy in picking Half-Life 3? No, he wasn't because I think I was even thinking similar at that time that if there was going to be a Half-Life 3, it was coming with the sneam machine and we all thought it was coming this year. So it wasn't crazy. It was definitely risky but not crazy. Half-Life 3 falls into my long standing back in the day prediction of the rock being at

Game Wars. It's just like a broken clock is right twice a day. If you make the same consider it, like it's got to happen. Half-Life 3 is going to happen one time. So why not take the shot? For me, it's the thing where you're 1000% right. I believe Half-Life 3 is being worked on and one day it will come out. But I think the more we say the words, Half-Life 3, the more scared Half-Life 3 is it? It runs for the more we act like Half-Life 3. You're right. Don't see it. Don't look at it. Don't look at it. Don't look at it. Don't make eye contact with Half-Life 3, then it'll never come out. Yeah. It's just such a meme. So yeah, Half-Life 3 was me trying to be spicy and maybe thinking I could get something going here. Pokemon, I thought, well for sure I'll get a Pokemon this year. That's easy money right there. And then you go into, I thought educated guests. I thought Replace looked awesome. I am still halfway through Replace just because of review season. I really enjoy Replace. I think it's 77s a bit low. I don't think it's that low overall. That gets me seven points. Having played Replace, where I'm at with Replace, I think it's low 80s.

You know, I'm not thinking it's something, you know, whatever. But I enjoy it 77. I thought I was going to get more off of that based on what we had seen. You jump to Beast of reincarnation. And now I think it's important to call out. This is where we are out of the draft. And maybe it was actually Replace was my first one out of the draft because it's five we draft, right? Yeah. Replace was my first one out of the draft. But this is that classic, should you want to, when are you going to do it thing? Like cool, games start getting announced and you're like, damn, do I bite on that? How many more games are going to be announced this year? When do you actually go and commit to things? And so Beast of reincarnation gets announced. It's game free. The first trailer we software it looked good and not, you know, necessarily the greatest thing. But again, I was like, I'm going to take a shot here because if I'm right, this is a cool win. And if I'm not, I got a 72 and I get two points off of it. It's like, damn, that fucking sucks. And you roll in a monster hunter story, three twisted reflection, return to the Monsties, return a cocoa. I had enjoyed my time with two. I played up several hours of three, this is, I guess, lung, but I had enjoyed two.

I knew that three would be pandering to the audience and this thing. So I threw it up there in 85, 15 points hell. Yeah. Then Minecraft Dungeons 2, I think by the time I start calling, no, maybe not. I think minecraft Dungeons 2, I picked up tossed out there and it was that thing of, I loved Minecraft one. And then if I picked it up, you had, you probably picked it up right after the announcement. Yeah, it must have been an announcement because I played at SGF and I don't know if I would have picked it up after that. Not because it's bad, but my thought process here, me and Joey loved Minecraft Dungeons 1 so much. I was like, Oh, Minecraft Dungeons 2, you're doing it again. That's unexpected. I bet you're going to add so much, you know, you're going to take all the learnings of one and put them into two. And again, the SGF demo I did was fun and great. I'm looking forward to that game. It's imminent. I don't think it's going to blow. I'm not getting a 90 off of that. You know what I mean in a, but it's also at this point like, I'm not going to be, I can't drop games anymore, right? I tried to drop something the other day. Oh, wow. It says right there's top. You can drop. You have no any unreleased, but if something won't release, you have three of those.

The problem is all my won't release games are counterpicked or whatever. I just Pokemon right. I'm going to have like three, well, even if half life three came out and said, we're not coming. Yeah, they would have to say, yeah, but I lost my drop of just being able to drop for free. I'm out of the running for everything. So what's it matter? I'm not going to make them. Exactly. And then yeah, Tomadachi life living the dream of 79, nine points totally on par. I agree with the score, but at the announcement of that and how successful Tomadachi had been in the past, I was like, oh, they're going to bring it here and really give us something that I'll like get critics going and I did not happen. Yeah, for context for viewers and listeners, Greg is kind of double screwed on half life as far as not being able to drop it. Triple screwed one because he doesn't have any unreleased drops left, but then also because somebody counterpicked it, he can't drop it. And then also Greg still has three drops for games that say that they're not coming out in 2026. The problem is half life not being announced. There's a very low likelihood that they announce it and then say that it's coming out at

a later date. So Greg is super stuck with half life, which is in great because yeah, multiple zeros there, plus no 90s. I think that's a pretty open and shut case as far as what's going on. And then of course, my counter pick was the blood of Don Walker. This is a Paris Lele pick on his thing and it got, oh, we got to went down and twitch for some reason, apparently, oh, no, we're down on YouTube to make. I counterpicked this one. I think it's important to remember how rough draft day is. Draft day is everyone coming out and picking five great games. It's kind of not impossible, but next to impossible to be like, hey, someone's going to pick the wrong game. This is going to, well, no, I think you look through ours. The only good picks are the ones that didn't come out. And if you remember blood of Don Walker, I didn't know much about back then. I was like, well, I feel like that game might not come out this year. You know what I mean? I can easily see it's Rebel Wolf's first game. Well, are they actually going to have it out? Where are we going to go with that? That could have been a game punty, especially with GTA and everything else. And then also, I didn't, I was not familiar with the game.

I was like, I don't know much about this vampire game. And then of course, it became over time. Well, this is exactly what it was when you picked the Mario 3D platform, unannounced Mario 3D platformer, where you're like, hey, if it doesn't come out, I'm great. And if it does come out, I'm excited because I lose a lot of points. Yeah, I get it Mario. I fucking love Don Walker. I had such a great time with that game. So of course, I was already destroyed by this point. But I was like, you know what? Doesn't matter. I like that. Hell yeah. And yeah, you got a good game out of it. So congratulations on that, Greg. But yeah, I do expect to be dead last and get number one pick next year, because that's how it works in our league. I believe you'll get a punishment. I'm very excited to do our first ever punishment. It will be a lot of fun. I don't remember. Yeah, I gotta we got to go back and listen. Yeah, we want it. But I believe there will be a punishment. Yeah, that first place gets a wish. And then last place doesn't get a punishment. Yeah, maybe a baby punishment for Greg. No, no orange celebrations in 2027. Damn, wow. That'd be big. That would be big. But then I would just change teams. Can't stop me. I'm going to call it a team green. We're going to move on to Paris lilies team.

Star Wars, the Mandalorian and Grogu, now streaming on Disney Floss, grade PG 13.

And we're back. That was a big moment. You've never had a Madeline. You've never had a Madeline. A Madeline. Thanks to my son buying a crate of Madeline Zakosco. Okay. Okay. And then look at that. Yes, I'm like, these go bad in like a week. We got to think of the office. It looks like a seashell. It does. Yeah. The pairs I assume you're a man of culture. You've had a Madeline. No, I have absolutely no idea what this is. It's a spongy cookie we'd never had. It's like a pound cake. What's he thinking? Oh, that's lovely. This cool. Okay. Yeah. What about you? I love this. Yeah. See, I've had him and never bought much of him. And then I brought this and I had one that I was like, damn, this is a spongy delicious. They're a nice sweet little treat with the coffee. Yeah. Exactly. Reminds me of like a Twinkie or something. Exactly. It's got that sponge cake to it. Do they have chocolate drizzle Madeline's? They do. Sometimes they'll do like the chocolate on top of one side. I would love that. Mike, that's the hungriest thing I've ever heard you say. Thank you. I am hungry. I mean, I started. How can I upgrade this?

What micro transaction can I add to a Madeline? Like a mouthwatering as I'm saying it. Oh, it's a stop into a couple of Super chats. Clownizer says Mike is pulling a lane kiffin with kind of funny fans. I am. If you actually tracked the lane, give it. I am pulling one, right? Great team last year. Decide to leave it all behind. Start a new team. Now not coming out the gate's really strong with this new team. Maybe next year, big dog. We'll see. And then Mike, like music writes in it says, speaking of collusion, one of the guys in both my fantasy critic and NFL fans who leads wanted me to trade him GTA 6 for Josh Allen. I said no. Wow. I would take that deal. Of course he would. Paris will go into the Super Bowl this year. Paris. Old strong. So all the Madeline. They're crummy. They got crumbus. Paris right now. You're in our actual standing for actual points are sitting in sixth place. It's also projecting you to be in sixth place. Paris, do you want to take us through your team currently? Yeah. So it's funny. I'm trying to remember my thought process back in January. Why took legal bad men with the first pick?

And I guess I had. I think I had some hope in. I mean, to be fair, that game looked like it was going to run. I mean, 14 points is nothing. Yeah, 84. But you would think, hey, I'm targeting something that was going to be 90 plus, right? Whereas I think now that the games come out, that score is about right 84. I think that's right where it should have landed. I'm actually more disappointed that control resident is 84. I just knew that was going to be 90 plus. I just assumed that it would be. So as much as we all love the game, that's just the score. It is what it is. So I kind of got a little bit hurt on that. Can I say something? Can I see the update that they announced today? Yeah, I was honestly disappointed. They did that. I thought they did it too later that they're doing it all. That they're doing it at all because you can go in and tune the combat if you so choose. And I never did it. I just played it the way it was. And I like that. It challenged me. You know what I mean? So I don't know. It is what it is. They're obviously, hey, they got to sell games or do it.

From Revely on Blue Sky, for the control resident launch, we are deploying a hot fix to address enemy health pools in Dylan's combat strength. Combat is more dynamic. Upgrading is made more straightforward. See, I went the exact opposite way where I'm sad they didn't have this during the review process because this was one of my key issues with the game. And I think a lot of reviewers echoed that was that combat balance and the combat. What does that mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. The game starts. Well, one, I think the combat gets repetitive over time. And part of that is this Mike's guy. I shouldn't hear this. My part. I think part of it is the spunginess of the enemies. Like you get into a combat. And for me, there wasn't enough variety in the combat to then keep me in those encounters for so long where I'm just doing that same loop of I know what abilities I'm doing. I know the exact same combo I'm doing over and over again. And so when I'm 30 hours into the game, it's like, and here's another combat sequence. Here's another combat sequence. And it's like, man, I like the combat, but I wish I didn't real time. There was more stuff to do. What more ways to switch it up. There's that. And then I think the difficulty of the game in the first eight hours is way different

from how it feels in the 20 hours. And I think the first eight hours of the game are so fucking hard. You get to hour 20. I'm killing these guys left and right. I'm destroying. I feel super powered. And that for me, that doesn't feel balanced. I don't know. So exactly what they want. Going deeper into this blue sky, right? Is that what they're doing? They're trying to what are they? I don't know exactly. I didn't look into it, but based off of the way I read it, like for me, a lot of it is the sponginess of the enemies. And then decreasing that would tell me that I envision that as making it a bit easier early on for how that feels better throughout the game experience. Paris is right. That you can you can tweak the high of the game, which I did for a few moments here and there early on because I was getting so frustrated with it. Those options are in the game. I wish like the core default options, though, were a bit finer tuned. And I said, like, I think 84 is also too low for this game. And I think if they I think if this update came out before reviewers, before reviews came

out, I could see it getting maybe a few more points above 84. Paris, what else you got from me on your list? So Gearsy Day isn't out yet. We'll see when when when because what is it October 1st? I guess the reviews will come out on that. So we'll see what that scores like. I'm extremely concerned about those. Yeah, I know that's coming out. Yeah, I got a feeling that it's not going to make it this year. Blood of Dawn Walker gives another one where I thought it was scored too low. I mean, I obviously love the game. That was one that I had on my radar for a long time and it delivered. So I get it. Some people didn't like the time mechanic with it stuff like that. I thought that brought a different, you know, something different, you know, to the genre of doing that. They're babies. Yeah, I loved it. So I honestly thought that would score higher than it did, but 84 is not bad. I clearly whiffed on high on life too. I mean, I just thought it would at least get into the low 80s.

I did, you know, because I did enjoy the first one. But, you know, call of duties, call of duty allegedly. This was supposed to be the one like this was supposed to be the big one. You know, then Infinity War was working on. So we'll see what that final campaign and what the multiplayer looks like. And then in a month, signing a hill. I mean, that was just something I hate. I was kind of scrambling like, hey, I need to pick up something and getting 82. I thought that was about right. That seemed solid enough for me. And then I mean, did you know, and it usually would be, I feel like we've had those years where it's like, you're not trying to, I mean, 90s, of course, it'd be great. It's more double digits. Can we get to double digits? That's what you want for your point. That's the rules. And above the dream is to get 15s. But yeah, if you're getting that 12 to 15 range, you're doing great. You're in the mix. Yeah. And then go see Yote, that was, I was looking at what was left out there and I go, all right, hey, it's eligible. You know, let's see what that expansion looks like. So, you know, like it's projecting me, I'll finish around the middle of the pack.

You know, I just, you know, I, I whipped on a couple of my top pigs. I just thought they would do better. And then go say, yo, take second, gahara is the latest action in the league. You picking that up. And this is the only action for the entire month of September, one of two, or one of three actions that have happened in the last couple of months, as we've kind of settled into what our teams here are. Paris, looking at your team, looking at your choices here, if you could change one choice you made, what would you go back and redo? It does, but for sure. I mean, even when I did it, I was kind of taking a leap of faith. There was probably something that was in that range that I could have been better served picking up. I think about the Capcom games. I don't even know if I had a chance. Well, maybe progmata, I forget where, what order that was picked in. I probably could have gotten progmata, something like that, but I think just in the order I was picking in and the games are coming off, I just, what we picked, like during the actual

draft itself, I think it played out about as best as I could have hoped at the drafting range I had. Now, some of the afterwards, like picking up stuff off the waiver wire, I definitely could have done a better job at that. Now before we move on, because next up we got Barrett, whose actual placement is fifth place, projected placement, fourth place, to bring in some super chats real quick before you do that. Dave Broe writes in and says, half-life three is new silk song. And what you say it, the longer it gets delayed, which is hilarious because I feel like silk song was the new half-life three for the longest time. Half-life three, I think, is the original when we were talking about this kind of thing. And then Regilu says off topic, Paris, how much longer do we need to suffer the mediocracy that is Todd Bowles and Jason Lycht, a great team hindered by leadership? Okay, let me, let me say something right now. You know, I spent my own hard earned money and I went to open it week in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I sat and baked in that 90 degree heat to us, Baker turned that ball over three times.

I just, I've already tapped out and then we lose to the Cleveland Browns the next week. I'm done. So I don't know, they can fire everybody as far as I'm concerned. Those are the Browns? I'm probably like that's embarrassing. That's embarrassing. Damn. And that's something Cleveland right there. That's someone from Cleveland, man. Yeah. Period. Courtney. What a, take us through your team. What a, like what's the bridge? We all have. It's a big, that's our breaker. Heart breaker, you know, game that's probably going to be kind of funny, it's game of the year because we're Sony ponies. We'll all have it at number three and it'll make number one for 2026 game of the year. Yeah, this one was a little bit of, you know, like, hey, and Somniac has this rhythm down with Marvel superhero games. What could go wrong here? And what went wrong is I think they were a bit a little too unimaginative. For a simple character, you know, it's a simple game for a simple character. I think it's all right.

But yeah, that being the first round pick, it's like, damn, I was hoping for at least 15 on this, you know, tough, tough one. But then with the other games that I have that are out already at least Wolverine kind of being the most recent game that has gotten me points, mouse PI for hire. That was like one of those like, yeah, that must have been fourth round pick. That was like, hey, this looks like a cool indie game where the devs are really into like this clear art style, getting me 11 points about where I was, I think, imagining it because like, once you get to that fourth and fifth round picks, you're just like, man, what are we picking? What's actually announced? What are we, you know, going for crazy picks like unannounced games or trying to find sure beds? I felt like that was a solid fourth round sure bed. To put us in the mindset of January 2026, like mouse PI for hire, I feel like was like weirdly, not weirdly, actually, weirdly, it's not the wrong word for it. It was, I think, overpushed.

It was jumping off the screen for me, blessed. That was a very cool art style. I think that was distinct for a baker being tied to it. There was kind of an energy of like, ooh, this seems a little bit different than most boomers shooters that shooters genre that we see that like, there's some energy here. I think we got to like this. We've been really cool, our style definitely jumped off the screen, but for me is the amount of screen time we got with it in those trailers, in those presentations, like Xbox. I don't Xbox. Yeah, we have a five or seven minute video. I feel like we have to. Yeah, like game near developer direct. I thought this thing was about to be like the ex dishonor or something. I thought I was like, you know, it was a big, you're starring in it. Like, it was just another boomer shooter. And I don't say any of that to take away from it because it's absolutely the great game that has an 81 way too long. And then pragmatta, you know, we were talking all year about Capcom being on top this year. And I was really happy with this at the time desperate fifth round pickup. And I remember people being a little bit like, has it in like, we'll see about that one, but it's great to see them kind of killing it with all these games.

And then we get to Black Flag Resync, one of the most remake of one of the most beloved games in the series. That was, I think my first pickup outside of the draft felt good about that. But it got the return that I was expecting from it. There was one morning, where I was in the shower. I was thinking, I was thinking through the future. And I was like, there's a rumors parrot. There's rumors of the, there's been rumors for like a year at this point of this 2 2D God of War. Metroidvania possibly game. And if that's, and if that's being led by Greg, who's the director of Ragnarok? Eric something right. Yeah, I'm not going to be able to interview to and talk about. Talked about like his love for Castlevania and Symphony, Symphony of the Night and all the stuff. I'm like, if Williams, if he's directing that, that like rumored 2D God of War Metroid vania game is about to be a banger. And that same shower sesh, I was like, you know what?

This rumored Ocarina of Time remake. You know, it just came out. An Ocarina of Time Lego set. It's time. It's happening. And I picked both of these up pretty early in the year. I want to say this was back in like March or April. Or no, it must have been even before that because God of War dropped on February 12th. Yeah, so I picked up Sons of Sparta and Ocarina of Time. I believe in the same weekend. And I picked up Sons of Sparta before it was announced. And then Ocarina of Time as well. Sons of Sparta comes out, gets announced, and it drops that day. So the only way you could have picked up that game really is if you picked it up before it was announced. And man, did not foresee that being not developed by within Sony Santa Monica, but a outsource to a different team. And it just being kind of a slog of a Metroidvania, very disappointing. Getting me negative five points. But I'll take that trade. I'll take the hit of negative five instead of getting negative 15 from Pokemon wins and

waves. So I was like, all right, all right, I'll take that. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time best pick up of the year. That'll get me 20 points. At least Ocarina of Time 3DS has like a 92. People just love. That'll be a lot of these for sure. And then Ratcoin was a desperate like looking for an indie like, what's the next ballad tro type of thing? That got me a low 80s. Not as much as I wanted to do. The titanium court, which is my current still game of the year at an 85, I think is a bit low for that game, but I can't be mad at it. The games I still have left, because this is where really like, it comes down to it. Right. What could happen? What could happen? Yeah, Ocarina of Time is going to be in the 90s at least, I think. It would fucking matter me. Yeah, it's one of the most beloved games of all time. It's getting a remake again, the 3DS version of that game, reviewed in the 90s. And that was just a paint job essentially for 3DS. And then the other ones I have are Phantom Blade Zero, which I always looked at as being

somewhere in the high 80s. So I'm expecting somewhere in like the 86 to 88 range. And then the big question, I'll push it to a 90. I think you would push that to a 90. I got a real high hopes for Phantom Blade Zero. But what is that you're expecting? Do you think that? Like what's your prediction? 90, 90, okay. Wow. Because I'm thinking of like, you love to see. I love to see that. I love to see that. What did Lies of P do? Lies of P. I always talk about like that being like one of the best outside of from stuff. That didn't 82. See that's where I'm like, I don't know. We'll see. The big question though. Greg called me out on it when I drafted it at the beginning of the year. It was a silk song, Sea of Sorrow, which they said 2026 and I was hoping for it. How many times have you guys got a lot of you? I know. They said 2026 and I was like, you know what, if they're saying next year, that means they got to be confident. And we still not heard a God damn word since. And if that comes out, that's going to review it at 90, which would put me in the conversation. But I don't know if this is going to come out and actually put me in the conversation at the end of the year.

You can drop it. What the fuck do I pick up though? My backup was never way. Never way got delayed traction. I gave you for Minecraft Dungeons too. I mean, that might not be a bad trait. Some points better than no points. So I don't know. You can pick up that Volvo game. We're not the same day as GTA. Yeah. Pick up Volvo. Man, I like same. Like I honestly just kind of wanted. It doesn't have a good mouth feel. No, Volvo. Volvo. I want to stick with it. It is really close to Volvo. I want to stick with it and double down on Sea of Sorrow just in case. Just in case they're insane and they're like, you know what, we're going to put this out of week before GTA 6 or some shit. Yeah. You know, so we'll see. My biggest mistake of the year, I had a feeling. I had a feeling in my gut bless the Friday before we got Wolverine codes. And my brain, I was like, I should drop Wolverine and pick up something else. And then I forgot. And then we got Wolverine code. And I was like, well, it's too late for me to do this. I feel for you because like between Marvel's Wolverine and God of War,

Sunsetsbara, those two should not have backed backfire on you. Absolutely not. You would never think that. You did what you had to do. He did it. He stirred the tanks. We then move on to our fourth place. So we're in fourth place. I'm not on the paper. You can scroll up for it. Yeah. This is organized in how we drafted earlier this year. But I think, yeah, fourth place is here we go. Andy Cortez. Now, Andy Cortez is responsible for two of our most recent league actions. Back on August 29th, Andy Cortez did two things. He dropped Mariachi Legends, which I think got dated for next year. Okay. And then he picked up a game called Well Dweller. Well Dweller. Do you remember this? What did he know? What did he know? What did he do? How did he find that? August 29th. Like these bids went through. How did he find that? Well Dweller this week. Got its reviews on OpenCradic right now. It is sitting at a 90.

This game's red hot. This game is red hot. I'm trying to play this game. I'm trying to find time to play it on my AYN Thor maybe. How did he know? Who told him? I don't like him listening to another podcast. Yeah. Problem. We never spoke about this once. He probably said the words well. Well, do we have never said the word? Did we show this on all the games coming out in September? I don't think we did. This was put on my radar because I was prepping KFGD and then Xbox had all the news earlier today. So we didn't even talk about it. We talked about it after. But yeah, that's a crazy pick for Andy Cortez and a late game move that you know might just save his team. Now we go through his games. Fire him in Fortress. Weave is his top one here sitting at 89. His first pick. I should say not his top pick. You should have traded me. His top pick actually mean of the hollower. No, we did talk about well. Do I know I did call that one out for you guys? Oh, you listen to my podcast. Shit. Damn. Yeah. So that's your fault. I mean, he also plays every Steve next best game available. So I'm sure that probably has something to do with it. I hate him. Me and the hollower got him 91.

Reanimal only got him an 80. Which brook is yet to come out. He's playing it a lot of two. He out. Yeah. Yeah. Mike, did you play it? No, I didn't play it, Barrett. Oh man. Great. More of the first one. Still pretty short. And like Mike. The way they're building up this like being a trilogy. It was like, oh, oh. I'm so stoked for the next one. Oh, I like that. I am shocked that I can't. What's my backpack? Yeah. Dude, that came on the radar. Okay. I was waiting for that game. I still got to play the first one though. Yeah. Playing a lot of two children of the leaf got him 82. Valor mortis is yet to come out. The eternal life of Goldman. Yet to come out. Where the fuck is that game? That's a really good question. I don't think I was coming out this year though. At this point. That's a cute old guy. That's a cute old guy with the umbrella. That adorable old guy. Grave seasons is yet to come out. That was originally going to come out in August though. I remember them putting the date on it. So I wonder what happened there. And I can't imagine. I've seen it a couple times.

This is the one you're the prisoner. You take over a house. There's a monster killing people in the woods. Yes. Should be an October game. So it's crazy. It's not out yet. But that feels like a 77 to me. I can see it. I read the walls. Mortal shell two got him in 83. And like we mentioned, well, they're got him in 90s counterpick was the adventures of Elliott, the Millennium tales. Elliott, which got him in. What's got an 80 on open critic. But that got him minus 10 because of it being a counterpick. How do we feel? We knew the win it all, but I think with which broke being such a big question mark, the eternal life of gold. And I think unfortunately for Andy, the three out of these four titles probably

won't even release this year for Andy. And so I think that's where the big miss is. Yeah, I agree. We then move on to me. I am sitting on the view on me blessing, uh, publisher level six seven. Um, I'm sitting in an actual third place. And also I'm projected to be in third place. My first pick was mixtape that landed at an 85 on open credit, getting me 15 points. My second pick Crimson Desert landed at a 79 on open credit, getting me nine points. Another one where it's like, you know, you update over your game over time. If they re reviewed that today, would that score be significantly higher? No, go to 82. I would say, I would say 85. I don't know if you guys have read the internet reviewers don't get this game. All right. This is for the real capital G gamers like me. All right, but they didn't get it at launch because it was, it was dull at lunch. It's dull now. They went back when I saw all the thing that they're updating story moments in the game. They're giving the game an actual story. It's like, what the fuck are we doing

here? You know, it'd give me nothing to work with as a reviewer because now I just look stupid 10 years later when people go back and watch the original thing and now the game's a different fucking genre. It's not the same game anymore. It's a totally different thing. God damn it. But yeah, Crimson Desert fucked me. Mugenics came in at an 89 on open critic, give me 19 points, Delta Roon chapter five. Thank God. Got reviewed. Came in at an 83 on open critic, give me 13 points. The operates for dead spies. That's the follow up game to Disco Elysium came in and at an 83, which is lower than what I would have wanted for the Disco Elysium developers, but also higher than you could have been higher than a conversation about them. But you know, she had a thesis and all that shit. Like who's still there? What are we making? Yes, that got me 13 points. Order of the sinking star is on my team. Not out yet. It is coming up. It is a big question mark for me because Jonathan Blow is made braid and he's made the witness to a lot of fucking statements to the very best puzzle games that were created. Can order

of the sinking star actually follow those up? I am worried. I am very worried about this pick. We then move on to Avatar Legends, the fighting game. This was a passion pick for me. It got a 78 on open critic. I would have wanted it to get to get more having played the game. I think this is accurate. It's fun, but also it's it could tell it's made by a very small team that has limited resources. They added in ranked post launch. The game was about to come out for Xbox. I think got delayed the day before it came out to like September or something. So yeah, this is a it's a tough one, but you know, it is what it is. Denture tack though came for me. I got an 87 on open critic getting me 17 points and then two games yet to come out. Ace Combat eight, wings of Thief and Star Wars galactic racer both haven't been reviewed yet. I'm feeling good about both of those there. And this you're in the mix blast with these three left. You you got a chance here big dog. If anything star can hit that 90 dude and get you up there. What you figure galactic racer,

it feels like the vibe on that one is everyone getting their little kid episode one. I did it. Yeah, 85 you know what I mean? That's right. It's like an eight and 8.5. Yeah, nine I 10. Ace Combat seven reviewed at an 81. So like somewhere in that like 10 you get 25 and then order of the sinking star high 80s order the singing star really is the X factor because that's the one. I think that game can come in anywhere between let's say at the top end a 90 at the low end a 75. I think that game can fall flat on its face potentially. The trailer. I don't think does. I don't think shows it off in a way that makes it look like it's about to be a game of your contender. But who knows. My counter pick was the unannounced main life half life game, main line half life game, which has been a good counter pick for me. Next up sitting at number two. We have the one and only master of hype. It's no bike Mike. Woo. Last year's champion. Some respect on the name champion Mike. Take us through your team. He brings the boom.

You know what? We did bring the boom. Great. Thanks for remembering that. I forget so much fun. Of course, this year I came out with a goal and I came out with a new strategy. I'm going to talk about that. Of course. We're talking about this strategy. I came up with. We're going to kick it off with Fortes. Horizon six as my first round first election pick of the overall draft. And there was the moment. Do you pick GTA or do you go with a safer bet? That is Fortes. Horizon six. The great follow up to five, not have a possible delay. So I went with Fortes. I pushed off GTA got me 22 points. Sitting at a 91 on Metacritic. This is one of the best games of the year. It was another fantastic entry into the genre. Then I kind of went a little crazy. And I went into the adventures of Elliott. The millennial millennium tale. And that got me 80 with 10 points. So not overall bad. My goal always is to score 15 or above. So 10 not my hidden goal but there. Super Meat Boy 3D is the start. Of course, I like to think of my team as a Caldera.

You look up at the Caldera. There's a peak. You go, oh, there's some highs. But deep down below. There's always the depths. There's a bottom there. I don't know. There's a bottom. And so unfortunately, Super Meat Boy is the bottom of my Caldera pick here. Went came out 76. Six points total on that one. Unfortunately, I think Super Meat Boy should be higher. I think that was a really good game. But 76 points on that. Yeah, you would have thought higher on that one. Yeah, went to vampire crawlers. And actually, when I see the final score of vampire crawlers sitting at 13, I'm not mad at that. This is a game coming off from Pond Cole. Pond Cole, you know it. Yeah, I like to put Pond Cole, but yeah, I know. I nailed it. This is a team that I thought, hey, man, a lot of movement from vampire survivors. Can they do with vampire crawlers? And you know what? 13, you're not mad at that. It all will take that Halo campaign evolved scored exactly where we thought it would score 81 for 11 points. I was hoping for higher, but that's exactly where that game should be. We go into ghost of legends.

Ghost of your take legends. Of course, this is the multiplayer edition into this game. This is unscored for me, bless. So this is going to be a big goose egg that really is another part of the called Dera. The model for you to call our friends at the different sites. We know we get them to review. There is a large call for like, when I needed it, but somebody could help you. That forms shortly after the emptying of a magma chamber in a volcanic eruption. Yes, yes. Where did you learn this word? I'm going to guess Karen. Here. I'm playing Alan Wake too. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Thank you. But if you take a look over on Open Critic with Ghost of your take legends, there's actually six reviews in this. Four of them scored two of them unscored. Nataku and push, push square have not scored their games. But the others are all in the eights to 8.5s. So hypothetically, there was one to score or some random jabroni. Maybe on the game of the year edition decided to play this and score it. That would put me on the board.

And maybe that would net out to an 80s. One more person. I didn't. One person. I think it's right. Yeah, it's like four, but it has to be a site from one of the like, who hasn't? Yeah, what a who the taco and push start. But who has IGN done it? No, IGN has not reviewed this. I think I'm not going to review Ghost of the Old Table Legends legends in, you know, September, 2026. What makes them phone calls? We're making a phone call. Oh, you know, I think we know a guy. We do. We just got a promotion. Yeah, we do know a guy who just got it. Oh, shit. Let's feel like this for the voicemails. The phone's probably off. You know this. These record your message when you have finished recording. It feels like collusion IGN dot com's Michael. Hi, I'm it's me Greg Miller from kind of funny. You're live in the games cast right now. Don't panic. I saw over on BS. That's a blue sky. It's him that you're now the reviews editor at IGN. Awesome. We need you to write a wrong. All right, Ghost of Yote Legends came out this year and IGN has not scored it. It's a great game from what I understand. And if you guys were to score it, that would help Mike in the

fantasy critic. He just needs one more score. So if you could do that, that would be fantastic. I'm sure you got freelancers just chomping. You know what? Mike is willing to review it for. Oh, Mike is willing to review it. I can't appear. It's so there. Michael, we just solved it for you. Hit up. Mike is rates very high, but he'll write it for you. Bye. This is Greg. I'd like it known right now that if Greg Miller pulls off the impossible and then does get a score as the acting return champion. If I win it all, he will not have to do a punishment right. It down. Wow. All right. It down. What he does. Remember this moment everybody. So yes, of course, Ghost of Vortay Legends, that was an unfortunate situation where game came out. I don't think there was a massive stir for that of clearly six reviews. Two of them on score didn't help me. Diablo four, Lord of hatred got 83 higher point more. He's more. He's more, but you get to an 85. That's all I will once again go with that's exactly where I thought that would be. Then we go over to World of Warcraft midnight to the release for that 84 14 points. Great job. Incident at Galley House got an 84 14

points as well. So really my strategy this year, blessed. I want to talk about was I wanted to make a splash for fantasy critic at the beginning of the year, the county year of 12 months to say, hey, let's make this fun. Exciting. The former champion has selected his whole entire team in the end of January. And he's going to let he's going to put the league on notice. Yeah, I got my 10. I'm locked in and I'm ready to go. And so that was my strategy as I worked out for you. Unfortunately, blessed Ghost of Vortay is really weighing me down because here's the deal at Fates end is my 10th pick that we haven't talked about now at Fates end. He's scheduled for 2026. It is supposed to release this year. This is the beautiful game that reminds you of what's the dog game? Remember when she had that beautiful dog and she was fighting people. Oh, never, never, never, never, never, never and like, agree. But this is the team that created on Paris. You're a favorite game spirit, fairer, Paris. So this team has shown it at GDC at Xbox.

We saw it. Of course, I'm sure it's been demoed other places. They've gone silent on me on when this drops, but over on their Instagram, they have a post from six days ago. Unmustakeable with the photo art of the game. Unmustakeable. What is that? You ask? Unmustakeable fest. They celebration of art and animation in video games. A four day steam festival happening October 8th through the 12th. This game will be showcased there. Is this going to be a demo or will this game drop sometime in that window? Celebrate. That's a 2027 game. It's not coming out this year. That's another demo. Well, I need you all to believe. Okay. You gotta free drop it. I have spent all my money for funds. He's a $1. I think. No, it's also like you can drop it. But what else is there to pick up? Trade me minecraft dungeon suit. So points are better than no point. That's great.

Call that's a great call. I would keep me in the race. Because I am at 103. Here's the big catch. Right. I'm at 103. I am in this spot right now. If Ghost of Yota legends were to get me points and at fate's end were to get me points. I would be in the mix. In the conversation. Does blood is your counterpicking? That doesn't seem like it's coming out. As of right now, I'm still in the conversation, but I will get blown blown by by bless and she's gonna get blown everybody. And so yeah, unfortunately for your returning champ, just didn't make it happen this year. But I'll be back better than ever last next year. Don't worry. All right. That brings us to our top dog here. Tim Ma, well, again, Yeti's, who is both sitting at first place in actual points and projected to be at first place. Rodgers biggest opera right now. If we're going through Tim's team, we start off at the top of the resident evil Requiem. That is sitting at an 89 on open critic getting him 19 Dragon Quest seven reimagined got 83. That's the second pick getting him 13 points. He also picked up 007 first light. That got him in 87 on

open critic getting him 17 points. Right under that on Amusha way of the sword that also got an 87 sitting at 17 points. Now his next one is a counterpicked game that is still unreleased tides on allation, which there is no way in heaven or hell on on or on this game. It's coming out in 2026, but he is stuck with the main character. The original actress dropped out. Yeah, I don't know what Tim was thinking when he picked this one. I'll be honest. Maybe he was thinking he'd be able to drop it, but it got counterpicked. Yeah. Pokemon Pecopia though was a fantastic pick from Tim sitting at an 89 on open track. Your draft. Yeah. Getting him 19 points. There's another tough one. Cana scars of Cosmora. A game that was absent during the previous state of play. Unreleased is it coming out in 2026. I think all of us are very doubtful that that's happening. Does he have any drops? He does have drops. So he's choosing. Well, he has zero budget. That's what it is. Yeah. So he's kind of stuck with it. He's just fed that money sometimes.

Yeah. You got to always keep yourself at least a book. He's essentially locked at his where he is. Yeah. He's not going to get any more points. Yeah. That's tough actually for Tim. Because next up, he has Star Fox. Got an 82 12 points. Vince Splatoon Raiders got an 81 11 points. Star was zero company. Got an 85 15 points and any counterpicked Marvel token. Fodding Souls. That got an 85 that is minus 15 points for him. So even though he's projected at first place, I think the fact that Tides of Nalation and canis scars of Cosmora are not coming out this year. Both both those are going to be zero. I don't think he has a prayer of being in first place, right? Especially with Roger coming up the way he's coming apart. Marvel fighting souls. Unfortunately, hit him hard as well with that minus 15. That would have put him in the 120's with a better selection. Yeah. You would hope. But man, he talked about playing a perfect game. And then unfortunately, just falling short of the finish line with these two games that won't score and release like any other year, man. I'm impressed with what he did. For someone who doesn't really notice or pay

attention to this, he somehow pulled it together. So our upcoming releases right now are the ones that are coming up soon. I'll say, of course, control resonant, which has already got reviews. Silent Hill Townfall, Minecraft Dungeons 2, Ghost of the Otakos of Sekuara, Ace Combat, Eight Wings of Thieves, Star Wars Galactic Race, or Gears of War Ede, Order of the Singing Star, Dragon's Dog with two Darker Risen Valley Mordus. And of course, there's much more. A lot more game to be played here. It sounds like really it's coming down between potentially Tim, but really Roger. And then I probably put myself up there, but also Mike. I would say I like the four of us are really are still in there. That's a solid mix. Yeah. I mean, I think it's Roger and bless in the forefront. Yeah. You have Mike somewhere in the mix on a wing in a prayer. And then Tim, who's just hoping none of us score in a perfect world of nobody scored Tim would be on top here. All right. Chat, here's ending. Let us know in the comments below. Who's your prediction for who's going to win this entire thing? Of course, we got a few months left in the year. We'll check in either at the

end of the year or the beginning of next year on a who's actually winning this thing. Well, give the winner a wish and we'll punish the loser. Unless Mike wins and Greg loses. Hell yeah. Then Greg is free for his punishment because of Mike's promise. I'm doing my best side here. I'm shaking. Did VGC do it? No, no VGC. Is VGC on open critic? Yeah, they have to be. We know. They would be. They are. He was like something would be. Well, all right. Then Paris, thank you so much for joining us, man. Yeah, thank you for having me until next time.
