Sorry, Sony. One of the biggest streamers just told his audience to NOT buy Marvel's Wolverine. It's not worth it. That's a HUGE black eye for Insomniac. Now we have Kai Sanat, who is one of the biggest streamers out there. Fly out telling people not to buy the game. Do not buy the game. You can't recommend the game. So we're going to take a look at that clip. And we're also going to talk about how, let's see, Wolverine, the motorcycle scene basically completes itself even on the hardest difficulty. I was watching this last night about fell out of my chair.

People were like, oh yeah, the game is hard. It's got some challenge. They're lying. All the chuds are lying. And then there's a guy who literally was not touching the controller. And this is on the hardest setting. And he still beat the motorcycle session without even touching the controller. It's like, it's called a movie. Dude, it's called a movie. So we'll talk about that. We're going to talk about this situation here on, oh my god, what is this? They're trying to spin it that Wolverine is very well loved by players because on the PlayStation Store, last time I checked it had like 12 or 14,000 positive reviews. I think they're actually freaking out. I think there's a lot of freaking out going on. And this is again the PlayStation Store. So take it with a grain of salt because I would not put it past modern day Sony. I'm not saying this is what's going on. I'm just saying I wouldn't put past modern day Sony to be like, hey guys, let's pump this game up. Let's get people to buy it.

Let's just drop a couple thousand positive reviews because the critical scores have not been good. The audience reception has been very frigid. It doesn't make sense that there are tens of thousands of people that apparently love this game enough to leave a review on the PlayStation Store. I'm just saying. So we'll talk about that too. Before you get into it any further, please subscribe for more pop culture news views and rants guys got the clownfish TV. Com for more clownfish TV, including episodes and videos you will not find anywhere else, including as of tonight live streams. Yeah, I actually did a live stream earlier to kick the tires on streaming directly onto the site. And I like how it feels and I just kick the tires on this again and just drive itself. I don't even have to go on stream. You guys are going to watch it. No, but I might start doing more regular streams over there instead of YouTube because again, I don't want to be constantly begging for super chats. I will ask you guys if you want to support us to become a member.

It's only five bucks a month, but that's a one time thing versus, you know, $200 super chat. Just saying, it's a pretty good bargain. I guess let's talk about this. So this is coming from let's see Reddit. Oh, we got a couple of things here. Reddit. This is Kai Snatt who really is not giving this one a glowing review. And it's interesting because he did a stream and he was already for it. The cost to be at everything he was going to he was going all in on Wolverine and he beat it like 12 hours or 14 hours. It was basically a walk through and he said, I felt nothing. I was excited about this game. I can't recommend it. Don't buy it. That's that's to give it six out of 10. So, you know, IGN level of review there, six out of 10. But yeah, I don't think this is going to go well for them. I really don't think it's going to go well for them. He compared it to Spider-Man and we'll watch his clip here, but he said, yeah, compared to Spider-Man. It's not good.

So let's see. Now, if I had to rate the game out of 10, I would personally rate this game a six out of 10. Oh, no, six out of 10. A six out of 10. And let me tell you why, bro. I feel like the story could have been better. I feel like they could have put more time into it for as level of that. So wait a second. The story could have been better. Didn't they hire like 10 sweet baby ink narrative directors or some shit? That's their one job. You had one job. Just the one sweet baby ink and you couldn't even get that right. I better had like I remember what like when I heard about this, I said they would be good. But I feel like the story could have been better when you play in Spider-Man. You could tell there's a lot of things that they paid attention to. There's a lot in there putting it. I feel it. Spider-Man one or two. One yes to no. Just in my opinion. Like, even with like the emotion, the emotional connection from the gamer to some of the characters in there, I don't feel like they capitalize on that, bro.

I feel like they didn't even give me enough time to really fall in love with some of these characters. Like they made his whole thing a big situation when he died, but I did not even care, bro. You feel me? And then after um, yeah, bro, it was just a lot of repetition, a lot of repetitive things going on, bro. I was fighting the same people. I feel like okay, they had this whole thing about the mute inches, stuff like that. But it felt like I kept repeating myself over and over and over again. Then also I'll be honest, I don't like robots, bro. There's two NPC-ass villains I hate fighting, bro. There's robots. And so I'm on that list. Is Ninja's robot? Well, yeah, because they're like tropes robots. The reason they do robots is because you can get away with a lot more violence with a robot. That's why George Lucas used robots in the Star Wars prequels. Droids because the Jedi can cut them up. It would be so gross if he cut them up and bugs and bug people. Robots and bug people. I hate fighting robots, bro. I don't like fighting robots, King.

You feel me? But it was a high, bro. When I recommend somebody to go out there and buy this, I would not. I would not. I wouldn't be like, hey, bro, go cut with a ring. I would not, bro. So that's that's pretty damning. I know a lot of people are like they have their opinions about Kai or whatever, but he's a huge streamer. And he got all dressed up for this and he was super excited about it. And if he's coming out and saying, don't buy it. That a lot of people are going to take that to heart and there'll be like, damn. Damn. Okay. Well, I'm not going to buy it then. The scenes are held long too. Yeah. It's not going to go well for them. I don't think. But let's take a look at let's take a look at this motorcycle clip too. Is this the one I saw the other day? Let me see. I want to share something that really caught my attention as a parent. I've learned that myopia near-sightedness is becoming much more common in kids. And it's not something you want to ignore.

If it goes unchecked, it can have an impact that goes way beyond schoolwork. What really matters is starting with an eye exam. An eye doctor can tell you what's going on with your child's vision and walk you through options that are designed specifically for kids like Esselaer-stellas lenses. I like that Stellas lenses are made for children and fit right into everyday life. They look like regular glasses, but they're part of a more thoughtful approach to managing myopia. If you're a parent and you've been meaning to book an eye exam, this is your sign. Visit Esselaer.com to learn more about Stellas lenses and to find an Esselaer expert eye care professional near you. Actually, oh my god, which one there's like three, four, five different clips. Let's take a look at some of these clips. Yeah, apparently you can just not even play the game. And you can still beat it. This is a Rames says the haters are right. You can complete the bike chase and Wolverine without touching the controller.

Irrefutable proof below. Don't believe anyone that says otherwise. This was done on the hardest difficulty with maximum damage taken. And you still cannot die. Let's see. This is a game for gamers. It's called what accessibility. Is that how they call it now? Accessibility. Where the game basically plays itself. Yeah, you guys want to run the experiment and see like whether it's true or not. Yeah, I want to see this. Okay, let's run the experiment. Okay, so he's not running the experiment. No hands. No hands, guys. No hands are running the experiment. Oh my god. Running the experiment. Okay, I'm losing health by the way. He is losing health. Now, I've seen a lot of people running the experiment. I'm losing health by the way. He is losing health. Now, I've seen several. I've seen several of these videos. I'm not going to get a picture of the future. I mean, obviously I didn't buy the game because I'm not going to give my money, but. I'm gaining health. Well, he does heal. Probably going to lose them.

I'm just waiting for some of the defenders to be like, well, Wolverine has natural healing abilities. This is mutant power and it's totally. He totally would not die. That one. That one hurt. That one hurt. Okay, okay. This isn't a game. See? Let's see how long we can go. This is a movie. Will we survive? It's pretty random. You know, so depending on. Depending on what you crush into. What? So far. I don't. I don't. I don't think I've seen anybody actually die in this. So far, we haven't touched the controller so far. I don't want to see your skip ahead to the end. I don't want to watch three minutes of. This movie is actually working. I think there's a degree of R&D. There's like a degree of R&D.

Okay, here we go, right? Okay, we're. We're on the fucking thing. Okay, okay, there we go. Oh my god, that's crazy. Let's look at this other guys here. Same thing. This guy is saying the same thing. This is, um. He's not even touching the controller. He can play the bike section, Wolverine with that steering, or the pigeon. In Spanish too. But I do like that costume as age with populace. What's the. Yeah, I see. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's cool. Hey, Morita. You can't. Yeah, I see. Yeah, I see. Yeah, I see. Yeah, I see. I like what's. What is the point of this? Okay, here's another guy. This is a Michael does life.

And he's doing the same thing. Not touching the controller. How many more seconds are there? Same thing. You got ninjas. Wait, he's not touching. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. He's saying touching the triangle buttons. What is the. It's a video game, right? It's a video game, right? Yeah, that's my face right now. I'm just like, holy shit, man. Yeah, I, I, I cannot. I mean, this isn't a game. This is a movie. This is an interactive demo. This is, you know, I'm saying like, like, like Final Fantasy VII, the cloud motorcycle chase. At least you could die in that one. And I am never going to complain about games like Final Fantasy X again, where I felt they're too linear because this one looks like it's just you're on the rail. Right? The whole time. But you can't even die.

Like what again, what is the purpose? So this is what they call this is where I can tell Sweet Baby Inc. Got involved in it because they're all about, quote unquote, accessibility, which basically means making the game as refripping, dicklessly easy as possible. So every non gamer can play the game. And they're going to say, well, this is because we want to sell more copies. No, I think it's to make it a game. Gaming can sultan, so whatever to make them feel better about themselves because I don't think the majority of these people actually play video games. It's like games are hard. Wouldn't it be great if games weren't hard? If games just played themselves, wouldn't it be great? And also all the women, yeah, they need to look just like me. Yeah, would that be great? I would play that game. The game that plays itself with the ugly women. And I think that's what I'm going to say. I would play that game, the game that plays itself with the ugly women. I would totally play that game. Oh my God, guys. All right, so let's take a look at this.

This is the whole review thing. Let's move this tab here. There we go. Okay, let's come from vice. Marvel's Wolverine gets positive review from PS5 players. Uh-huh. Marvel's Wolverine has launched on PS5 and PlayStation players are seemingly disagreeing with many critics on the PlayStation store. Just on the PlayStation store, Wolverine currently has a 4.83 out of five with thousands of reviews pouring in. Interestingly, over 92% of the reviews on the digital store are from users who gave Wolverine five stars. Oh, there's nothing suspicious here. I want to share something that really caught my attention as a parent. I've learned that myopia, near-sightedness, is becoming much more common in kids, and it's not something you want to ignore. If it goes unchecked, it can have an impact that goes way beyond schoolwork. What really matters is starting with an eye exam.

An eye doctor can tell you what's going on with your child's vision and walk you through options that are designed specifically for kids like Esselaer Stellest lenses. I like that Stellest lenses are made for children and fit right into everyday life. They look like regular glasses, but they're part of a more thoughtful approach to managing myopia. If you're a parent and you've been meaning to book an eye exam, this is your sign. Visit Esselaer.com to learn more about Stellest lenses and to find an Esselaer expert eye care professional near you. Here. Nothing at all. I have seen nothing but hatred for this game, even from gamers that were super excited about like Kai and they're just like, yeah, don't buy it. I can't recommend it. I cannot believe 92% of the reviews on the storefront are from users who gave it five stars. That is bullshit. This is noteworthy because only customers who bought the PS5 exclusive are able to rate it.

Well, this is a Sony produced game on a Sony owned storefront. It stands to reason. I'm not saying anything is going on, but it does stand to reason that if they wanted to say that they have more sales than they actually did, it would be relatively easy to do it because there's no third party telling them they can't. It's just them rating their own game on their own storefront. I can literally do that. I could go out. I could start a Shopify store and I could give myself amazing reviews. I'm sure. Or if I installed a storefront on like WordPress or something like that, moocommerce, whatever, I could give myself all kinds of really good reviews. I just run a bunch of fake sales through it, give myself nothing but five stars. Because I controlled the backend of it too. I'm just saying similarly, a lot of these reactions on sites like Reddit and X also seem to be positive. I have not seen it. Some users are comparing the game to an arcade brawler and seemingly having fun.

If you spend 70 bucks and you're having fun, I am glad because 70 bucks is a lot of money for a game. Especially games only like 12 hours long. All this to say it appears Wolverine so far as resonating with players more than critics. However, it should be noted that PlayStation Store reviews are only a small percentage of overall player numbers. That in the game had a midnight launch, so we'll have to wait a few days to see how the score shakes out once more players dive into it. The Tom Yack responds to Marvel's Wolverine critical reviews. We've been 100% listening over the past few days and the team has been cooking hard in response to some of the feedback. Case you were wondering what the smell out of our kitchen was. Wow, wow, wow. Yeah, good luck with that. I don't know guys. I mean, I think it's going to do okay. I don't think it's going to hit the sales target they're looking for. I mean, again, when you've got streamers like Kai saying don't buy it, they're going to listen and they're not going to buy it. But who knows, you know, I would pick it up.

I consider picking it up for like 20 bucks or something. I'm not going to pay 74 in a way and help. Especially when Grand Theft Auto 6 comes out. It's not a good value proposition when Grand Theft Auto 6 comes out and doesn't cost much more than Wolverine. And one of these games will probably have countless hours of value versus the other one. I think if people are being choosier, they're just going to wait until GTA 6. In my opinion, I'm going to wrap it up. Please subscribe. We'll talk later.
