Julie Michaels: Fit at 64, Stunt Legend's Journey

0:00On March 27, Julie Michaels turned heads during a recent outing in Los Angeles, looking toned in vibrant as 64. The former actress and stuntwoman, famous for her early roles alongside Patrick Swayze, stepped out with her husband, fellow stuntman, P.W.P. Amante. She showed off her fit arms in a simple black t-shirt and pants, proving she's still in top shape after decades in Hollywood. She kicked off her career at 19, playing a Topos dancer in the 1989 cult hit Roadhouse. Just two years later, she reunited with Swayze and Point Break, earning buzz from critics for her memorable scene. Michaels often praised Swayze as a hardworking leader and shared fond memories of him online after his passing in 2009. Facing a stalker early on, shifted her path to stunt work, a move her husband encouraged. They met that same year, married in 1993, and raised two sons, Vincenzo, and Vincente. P.Monte says she opened doors for his own successful career as a stunt coordinator.

1:01Her stunt gigs included doubling for Pamela Anderson on the show VIP, where a high-risk jump from a two-story building left her with a broken back. But she bounced back through intense martial arts training and returned stronger than ever. Today, Michaels embraces the behind-the-scenes life, calling it humble and rewarding, and credits her gym routine for keeping her at peak fitness.
