Jordan Kisses Hamlin at Kansas, NASCAR Rivalry Sizzles

0:00It's April 22nd. Welcome to Durham News Today, powered by AI. I'm Corey with the story. Michael Jordan sparked another viral NASCAR clip by playfully grabbing his buddy and business partner, Denny Hamlin, around the neck and kissing the side of his head. This went down at Kansas Speedway on April 19th after Jordan's driver, Tyler Reddick, snatched a last lap win. Cameras caught the whole fun-revid in-moment during the celebration, and it blew up fast online. Jordan and Hamlin co-owned 23XI Racing, which feels drivers like Reddick, Bubba Wallace, and Riley Herbst. Hamlin still races full-time for rival Joe Gives Racing, so they trash talk hard on race day. Hamlin dominated that Kansas race, leading for 131 laps, but a lay caution flipped everything, dropping him to fourth while. Reddick took the checker flag for his fifth win this season. Fans lit up X with reactions, some calling the net grab and kiss, straight up weird. Jordan owned a post-race, saying he lives to beat Hamlin because of all the

1:03smack talk they exchanged. Hamlin chimed in on his podcast the next day, admitting he was all in on his own team that day, and feeling the sting, but that's just how their rivalry rolls. Hamlin even bragged pre-race that Kansas was his guaranteed victory, unless something wild happened, which fired Jordan up even more. This isn't Jordan's first spotlight steal this year. Back in February at the Daytona 500, a clip of him near Reddick's young son, stirred buzz. Though it was just part of the wild celebration vibes, their back and forth keeps the energy high in NASCAR, blending ownership with on-track battles, and you know more viral gold is coming as the season heats up.
