Jets Strengthen Defense with Ossai, Enagbare, Fitzpatrick Signings

0:00For the NFL, it's March 9th. Here's what's happening. The New York Jets are wasting no time strengthening their defensive line this free agency. They've agreed to sign defensive ends, Joseph Ossai, and Kingsley and Agbari to boost their front. Ossai is coming over from the Bengals on a $36 million deal. And Agbari, from the Packers, agreed to a one-year $10 million contract. Ossai, a 2021 third-round pick, spent four seasons in Cincinnati with 14.5 sacks in a backup role, plus 100. 16 tackles and four forced fumbles. That experience should add depth right away. And Agbari, selected in the fifth round of 2022, played every game over four years in Green Bay. He posted 146 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles, bringing reliability to the edge. Meanwhile, the Jets traded for veteran safety, Minka Fitzpatrick on Monday. These moves aim to overhaul one of the league's weakest defenses from last season. This story
