Jesus’ Baptism: The Day God Changed the Rules | Daily 5-Minute Bible Devotional with Rob

Have you ever wondered why the sinless Son of God waded into the muddy Jordan River?

In this Battle Drill Daily Devotional, we explore the strange and powerful meaning behind Jesus' baptism. It wasn’t an act of repentance - he had nothing to repent for. Instead, it was an act of radical solidarity.

Rob Westwood-Payne unpacks the theology of Kenosis (Philippians 2) and reveals how this single moment completely flips the script on power and status. If you are tired of a world obsessed with climbing the ladder, discover the downwards path of humility that leads to a life of real purpose.

Key Takeaways:
- Why John the Baptist tried to stop Jesus.
- The meaning of "carrying out all that God requires."
- How to choose service over status in your everyday life.

Scripture: Matthew 3, Philippians 2 (NLT)
