It started in Kansas City, Missouri when a black SUV picked up a woman passenger and noticed the Jeep tailing them. The SUV tried to escape by turning on to Roa Avenue, but the Jeep caught up and fired several shots at the victims. The chase ended in a crash near Franklin Park on Roa Avenue close to 87 Street where the SUV burst into flames. Two women escaped the wreck and one had a non-life threatening gunshot wound. A local resident near Roa Avenue caught the sound of gunfire on his ring-doorbell camera. Overland Park and Prairie Village police are teaming up on the case and believe shots were fired around 99th and Roa, 91st and Roa, and near the park.
