Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Family in West Bank

A Palestinian couple and two of their young children were killed when Israeli forces open fire on their car in the northern West Bank town of Tamam. Israeli officials say the shooting happened during a joint army and border police operation. They claim the vehicle sped toward troops, putting them in danger, so soldiers fired back. Four people in the car died as a result, and the incident is under investigation. Palestinian health officials identified the victims as parents. Ali and Wadbani O'Day, plus five-year-old Muhammad and seven-year-old Awfman, all had gunshot wounds to the head and face. Two other children, aged 8 and 11, survived with minor shrapnel injuries after watching the attack. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that Israeli forces first blocked their ambulances from reaching the car and told crews to leave the area.
