This episode of the Big 12 Squad focused on a pivotal week in the conference, with the spotlight on Arizona and Arizona State as both host major conference matchups. The hosts spent significant time previewing Arizona State vs. Baylor, with Phillip Mulford explaining that the game will reveal a lot about the Sun Devils' ceiling. Arizona State's biggest concern is an offensive line dealing with injuries, while Baylor's defensive front has emerged as one of the conference's most disruptive units. The panel debated whether Baylor's strong start is legitimate or simply a product of favorable matchups, while also discussing Oklahoma State's resurgence after a rocky start. Cody Stovall argued the Cowboys have re-entered the conference title conversation following impressive wins and believes the Big 12 race is much more balanced than it was a year ago, with several teams capable of winning the league.
The second half of the show centered on the national perception of the Big 12 and the conference's College Football Playoff hopes. The hosts debated whether the Big 12 can earn multiple playoff bids, with some arguing the league continues to battle media narratives that favor the SEC and Big Ten despite strong on-field results. They also previewed several key games, including BYU vs. TCU, where TCU appears to be searching for answers after a disappointing start and even held a players-only meeting during the week. Texas Tech's road trip to Colorado, Cincinnati's upset potential against Arizona, and the growing parity across the conference were also major talking points. The group generally agreed that the Big 12 remains highly competitive and unpredictable, but that a team may need not only to win the conference title but also make a deep playoff run to change national perceptions of the league's strength.

This week in the Big 12 conference turns to the desert with two big time showdowns late

Please subscribe, rate review all of these shows and his Drake likes to say, help us keep our jobs. Welcome into the Friday squad. And as I said in the open guys, I think the attention of the Big 12 this weekend turns
to the desert, home games for both Arizona and Arizona State. So Philip, you're getting first dips here, big game, Intempi, Baylor coming to town. How you feeling about this? I think we're going to learn a lot about where Arizona State ends the season with this game. Right? And I say like, if Arizona State is is flying high and we're playing well, we are a top three team in the big 12. I don't think anyone's going to really disagree with that. If we do what we did in Kansas, we do what we did the final quarter of against Texas A&M, we are bottom four, right? There is that much variability on this team. And the best part about this Baylor game is that we are kind of running strengths into weaknesses. And it's not a great thing for Arizona State. But Baylor, like unquestionably the best part about Baylor's team is their defensive line. It is scary. They had 13. I mean, Colorado is not a great team. They had like 13 T of L's against Colorado. They have more sacks in their first was this four games than they had like all of last year. It's really good.
And we don't really have an offensive like like we do, but our right guard is like on our third string right now because the first and second got hurt. Our tackles are big questions. We were using Camarri Anderson or starting tight end to like chip for that and added an extra blocker. But he's at for the season like it's really unfortunate that he went. He broke his, I think was left leg in spring fights all the way all the way back. And then like the second part, the second play in the Kansas, he goes against rolled on and his other leg goes down for the year. Like really unfortunate stuff. But the end of the day is that we're their best unit is against our worst unit. And if we can go and scheme around that and still hold our own like we did against Texas A. Now, I think we're going to be solid, especially if Cutter Bolly doesn't lay a big usick like he did against his Kansas, which I'm willing to go and kind of attribute to two weeks on the road and a row on the road and all the chaos and going to like these games, these international games are never big offensive shootouts. But if he's bad against Baylor and our offensive line can't hold a bay, it's going to be a long,
long season for some noble fans. All right, Chris levels. So you're down there in the great state of Texas. Baylor off to I think a better start than any of us expected. Dave Aranda, maybe saving his job for the, I don't know how many times we've talked about him saving his job. What are you making to Baylor bear start to the season? I think we are all guilty of really trying to paint a lot of these teams with a broad brush already and figure everybody's played one conference game. Yes. I mean, and like I stood, everybody's in a long way to go. I don't think Baylor is great. I think that that's Colorado's weak link is on their offensive line. And I think as Philip said, they had 13 TFLs. They sacked the quarterback five times. They only ran it for Colorado only ran it for 83 yards. Is this, is this a Colorado issue? Is this a Baylor issue? But I, because I think what you'll see is I think you'll see there's on the schools
both win. Then we'll be sitting here going, well, maybe Baylor wasn't any good. Maybe since then he wasn't really any good. Well, maybe that isn't the case either. It's just part of the early part of the season and everybody, you know, it's hard to stack them up, man. And that's the teams that ultimately end up, you know, at the end. But yeah, I'm not, and I guess lagway is going to play. And he'll be in his game back. And, you know, you'll kind of find out, okay, can he, can he care? Can he make enough plays and score enough points for, go win a game on the road? But I'm not, I'm not sold on the Baylor Bears yet. No. No, and he didn't look good against cut like that's the other thing. Like yes, he's back and high ankle sprain takes longer than four way. Like I've done it twice. High ankle sprains take longer than three to four weeks. It's just how it is. Yeah, you got some better medical stuff than I'd access to. But he was 19 of 39. He was not great. He had a couple good throws. The problem with this Baylor team right now is that they have like no run game at all.
Like they spend all their money, they spend all their money on DJ and they spend all their money on defense. So I think that that's the, the, the talk in this day was, did they surround lagway with enough skill around him? Cause they, I mean, they're Dave Arandas. They were always the shirts. We pay players. We pay players. Yeah. They, they have been very outspoken about. They chose to, to allocate a lot of money on defense and they did not do that before. So it should be better. I just don't know if, you know, it's everything from their a couple yard short from being 4-0 in the winter. Or they're just, they're just no idea like what the hell I'm doing. Yeah. I think that's the best thing I hear all week. But I think the point remains, JT just joined, just a lot of it's joining us. Cody, I want to go to you because obviously big win last week and we get to talk to you
here in the week when it came to, I guess, celebrating your win over West Virginia. But how are things from your vantage point? Did you look at Oklahoma State relative to rest and watching the rest of the league kind of early on right now? He went from a bag on his head to change his name to Arlington all in the split. All through weeks. Arlington, baby. Arlington, baby. I mean, I think we can all agree at this point in time that we have the most impressive non-conference win. You could make the argument. Yes, right. Obviously Texas Tech in Houston was a big game. BYU Arizona, big game. Oklahoma State West Virginia was equally as big, right? On that same pedestal. It is kind of crazy how a few weeks ago I was wearing a bag over my head after one of the worst losses that I could have envisioned coming into the season. But as we discussed then, if you lose it's also, but then you turn around and beat Oregon, which seemed unfathomable at the time. And then you beat West Virginia and then you carry yourself into that Houston game. It looks a little bit different. And when you look at the rest of the big 12, I view it as drastically different than last
year. And then you see here, Texas Tech was far and away the best team in this conference. BYU was far and away the next best team in the conference. And there was a degree of separation between them two. And then there was a big, big battle for third place. I think this year is a little bit different. I do solemnly believe that there's five teams in this league that could easily win it, which I think is way different than last year. And why not? It be us in that conversation. I think that we have shown that the offense that I talked about all off season is the real deal is exactly what I thought it would be. And can we also not also firmly agree in this panel that Texas A&M has certified ass sheets. You got me at about 25. No joke. They were ranked last week. I was in saying Arizona State looked like the better team against them for three weeks. Yeah, of course they're off. Yeah. No. It's crazy. I will say, Hey, Utah was the legit. The third best team in the conference. I know the Cougar guy ain't going to stop in and step in and say that. Hey, that was close between you. Talk BYU last year. Oh, good.
No, no, no, no, no. What? No, that is what's the JT? JT, I love your ability to do this, right? You make a point that is reasonable and good and we're like, Oh, yeah, I agree with it. And then you take it like 20 steps to find like, wait. Wait, you know, I'm saying you, saying you told me right you were on the same turn. It's not a crazy statement. Staying here, you told on BYU last year, we're on the same tier. It's not a crazy statement. I would agree with JT and Chris level. It's just being nice. Chris, I'm out. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm selling both up close. Well, you taught 111, were they 11 and two last year? Yeah, I went 11 games with the boy. Yeah. Yeah. And I think, I think to, I think, I think to Cody statement about like Texas Tech was this or that last year, we didn't, at this point a year ago, we didn't know that. We didn't know that. They were 4-0. They had, they had one a bad non-conference deal and they'd gone to Salt Lake City and they've won the game in the fourth quarter and they ran away with it. But that's all we knew at the time. We didn't know, we didn't know how good Utah was going to be.
I just, it's still so early for us to be making these declarations yet. But it certainly looks like a wide open league. They're, I'm not going to dispute that at all and it makes for a fun league race. But that's what, you know, like when we start getting a little body of work here and team start figuring out, okay, now you're 3-0 and 4-0. It's like, okay, now, now we're talking, but we're just, we're just not quite there yet. But because like Oklahoma State's game, like we're basing, we're basing. It was a big time win. I watched every bit of that. It was awesome. I felt bad for, for my man Paul. I know he's, he's probably like, you know, have we seen him this week? Is he still well or good? Okay. Good. It's good. But we're basing how big of a win that was. So a lot of it on is Virginia any good? Yeah. And I think I said this on the, I'll go and do that. I mean, I said this on the Monday show. I think the, the world of college football we, or I guess the, the Wednesday show, the
world of college football we live in right now is probably the single hardest version of college football. It has ever been to figure out if teams are actually good or not because you have these teams that are 48 new players coming in here like, well, are they bad because they haven't played a game together yet? Are they bad because the coaching is not there or the matching isn't happened? Like, yeah, there's some, like, it happened Arizona State last year, although caveat, we had, we lost like three all Americans to injury for most of the year. So that became a little bit more difficult. Yeah. But, you know, you have like these teams that are coming back, they're returning everyone, but there's no chemistry there because like the five guys they added in are blowing everything up. And it's like, are these, who is good right now? I think we can comfortably say like top eight in the big 12 versus bottom eight kind of. So then you got some of the others on the state teams. There are five teams wreaked in the top 25 from the big 12. Yes. Awesome. Yeah. Dude, do we still think that it's a one mid league or are we always suddenly buying into the like, oh, you're going to get it. I think it is still one big league.
Yeah. I've been hooting that it's been two for a couple of months. I got to stay with it. I don't know what I wish you want to. I believe the one. I see it. I thought because that's what we're, that's what we're going to discuss. That's what we're going to talk about. Big 12, the second best league in all of the land. We'll get to that next right here on the Dose Grande squad. Today's show is brought to you by Fan Duel. Now, if you want to get to your boss for awarding NFL season only on the Fandall, how rewarding are we talking? It's more rewarding than touchdown with time expiring. You're juggling a lot, but you can still squeeze in a financial plan. With the Northwestern Mutual Financial Advisor as your partner, it's not only possible, it's personalized. So, if you're time the not. Closing on a house or welcoming a little one, you'll be ready for whatever life tosses your way. It's the right time to feel less stressed and more certain. That's a better way to money. Let's get started at NM.com. The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We're back to the big 12 squad. All right, guys. So if you look at the overall P4 versus P4 records, the SEC is head and shoulders above everybody else with a 10 and two record. But the number two leak record-wise sitting at five and seven would be the big 12. Funny enough, the big 10 who has the last three national championships is fourth and
a four man race here. Chris, you talk about how you you want to see it before you believe in terms of the big 12 being a two-bid league. But I think the lead relative to I think what a lot of people the national narrative is, we're off to a pretty decent start speaking of the big 12. Hey, Jake. Yes. Dude, numbers actually matter because we're talking about this being a two-big league. Does performance matter at all? Dude, because I saw another guy. There's like he had his own math. He's like, yeah, big 12 is the second highest average like performance. None of this matters. Like you have ESPN and five to the majorities and Fox Sports and everyone else. And they're going to say, we have big investments in the SEC and we have big investments in the big 10 and it does not matter that the big 12 is good because we have a lot of parity and we have some good top teams. We're going to be a one-bid league because it is against their financial interest to make anything else out. You were and you were quoting Tom Fonelli who his own metrics have the big 12 number two. Yeah, I disagree. I disagree. If BYU would have beaten Texas Tech last year, this conference would have had two in.
So there is a tag. Yeah, that's what it's going to take something very unique and it's going to take it's going to take one of these ranked teams to carry it all the way through and have some sting power. Yes. Like to have a loss, a close one, mind you. Because I think we could all get slapped with a dose of reality when the CFP rankings come out. If they were to do that right now, they're going to look at, okay, let's just take Cody's team. Because it's all about narratives and everything like that but it's like, well, the Tulsa thing is a lot worse than it is good for the Oregon thing. They gave up how many rushing yards to West Virginia. Like, no, no, no, no. It's just like that. Like that's what they're going to do. It does matter in the case of Oklahoma. That's it. That's it. Texas Tech. Like your past defense is awful right now.
It's all like they get to pick and choose. Like Texas Tech last year, the end product, they beat everybody by 20 plus, except for the one time when they didn't have the starting quarterback and it was a Phil's team, but you know, you have this margin of victory and all that. Otherwise, you just set yourself up to them to pluck things that that's the scary part about the league that you're in. That's just the reality of it. That's six. And JT, I want you to talk about this, Philip. But I think you, I think you nailed it with the fact that, hey, we have speaking of the SEC, ESPNs embed with them. Foxes embed with the Big Ten and guess what their financial interests are is in promoting those two leagues and having more of those teams in the field. That comes down to the long and short of a JT your thoughts. Yeah, I mean, I think that's fair. But at the end of the day, if you win the games and you take care of business, you will get an opportunity to get into this thing. I think it was, yes, there was all the controversy because of the weather. They had to move the Oklahoma State organ game away. But Oklahoma State winning that game did very well still on social media, right? So you still get lots of impressions and things of that sort. They will put the best teams in. I've been, I've said it multiple times.
I still believe last year they got the 12 best in. I know BYU fans don't like to hear that. But based on what I saw, I thought they did have the 12 best in there. Either way though, if BYU goes out this year and they're 11 wins again, they keep it close. They compete with tech. I do believe this conference can get two teams in. But you guys are right. They are more incentivized to put the STC in the big tent. And I hear what you're saying. And JT, there's no way you thought Tulane or James Madison was better. I was going to say, come on. Okay, my bad, my bad, my bad. That's fair. I was at his desk like, you're about to get flayed by BYU fans. I like, we're got about that under the rules, under the curve. Yeah, okay. I guess you guys are right. Here's a high playwright. I disagree with both Philip and level to some degree to levels point. You started off hot man. It's about storylines. Lose him to Tulsa embarrassing. You're right. But then you turn around and beat Oregon. And then Oregon goes and beats USC on the road like a red headed stepchild with a backup quarterback. That's good for Oklahoma State. That's good for the big 12. If we run the table, if we beat Houston, we beat tech, we beat everybody else. Am I saying it's likely heck no, not in this conference.
But if that does happen, that storyline of Tulsa is going to be one of the reasons we probably do squeeze in because last year they let 2G 16s in just to say, look, we tried it. It failed. We don't have to try it again. I think this year they do let two big 12 teams in for that same reason because they want the big 12 to fail. And next year they can say, let we tried 2G 16 didn't work. We tried to big 12 teams didn't work. That's one of the reasons. And then to Philip's point, what is that new fund metric that has been installed to the CIP committee? Strength the schedule, which is really in which is not in tech to have a sex favor at all, which means you have to have ranked wins. You have to have ranked wins. Philip, there's five mother truck and ranked teams in this conference. If we stay this way, we will all have enough ranked wins to matter at the end of the year. If this is what the CIP wants, then exactly what we see in the top 25 is what the big 12 need. But Cody, here's the problem. And I'm not saying Arizona State is is not guiltless in this. We had a bad, bad loss against Texas A&M. But I can guarantee you what the college football committee is going to do is what they did last
year and what they've done a couple years ago. They're going to say, yeah, you got some good wins. But look how bad your losses are. Look how bad that Tulsa losses. Look how bad this is against the Texas A&M team that, you know, they's not going to have a good year this year. They have that storyline. And it's so easy. I think the big 12 are greatest strength is the parity in the top. Maybe six top five wherever it is. It gives a really entertaining product. I would much rather be I come from the pack 12. I would much rather be in a conference that has that parity. Then like the top two or three teams and everyone else just gets annihilated like the SEC in the past. So what it gives the college football playoff committee who are again incentivized to make it happen a certain way. A ton of leverage to say, yeah, look, Oklahoma State had some great wins. They really did. But they lost a Tulsa and they were, you know, 10 and two, like they lost a game to a very even big 12. Clearly, they're not very good. Clearly, they're not good enough to make their way into playoffs. Let's just go make the big 12 champion come in again. They still fortunate.
But I think that is. You need it. Well, we need it. 24 teamer. Okay. The strength of the schedule stuff. It doesn't matter for any of us. You better win in Arlington. Yeah. Yeah. In the end. What was the excuse for them letting two G6 teams in last year that was the ACC. That was all these rules. Yeah. They really were. They said that was the four highest ranked conference champions. Yeah. Blame Duke. Duke. Yeah. Who devil? Yeah. I love blaming Duke for everything that's wrong with everything. So I just need a quick answer because I level and Phillip, you guys, your teams have played in the college. Well, playoff. What have done? And I think that is one thing that's held back. I think the perception of the big 12 is the fact that the big 12 has not had a team advance in the playoff. Your thoughts do we need to see whether it's one or two teams? We need to see a team make a move in the. Yeah. Yeah. Although I will say that that was not Arizona State's fault that we didn't. There was yes. There was an increase in both teams competed like Texas text defense looked
incredible. I know it happened with the offense. The Texas Tech defense was phenomenal. So both big 12 teams did prove they belong. I think that matters for something. And had Texas Tech's offense played better and you win that game. You would have gotten smoked by in the end of the next week. Yeah. We would have been smoked by how it stays so you know. Yeah. Just like Oregon did. But it feels like we need to have somebody from the big 12. Yeah. To see. We can't. Yeah. We should. It matters. Yeah. Just to assert that hey, the big 12 can compete on a national level. Um, have you guys have you guys can I can I toss up some big 12 stuff for you guys this for this weekend? Oh, can we is that a tea? We hold on. Yes. We want to get. Who's Jake trying to get the ads into today? He's doing his best. That's a great tease. So stand by. Okay, so I'll let you guys pick from the the the top of the wheel here. So, so Jake's team is going to play a team that just had a player's only meeting. So there's a lot of them all over now. I'm sure you've seen that have you you guys have clearly seen the uniform dynamic that's going on with the central Florida Houston game. Have you seen all this hub up? No, no, are they fighting over the space you think? No, why? Or the other have a white out of Houston is having a white out. They asked Central Florida and coach Frost, hey, can we do something different there?
And y'all wear whatever to cooperate with our theme game. And Scott Frost was like, now, oh, jeez, wow. Yeah, he he's like our only rogers. These are black ones are home jerseys are black ones. We're not going to do that in Houston 11 a.m. So there's that whole dynamic. And then and then we have an ex-yute that is going to start at quarterback for Colorado this week. That's right. That's crazy. So I'm okay, BYU TCU. And I want you guys to thought on this. Jaden Craig said they had essentially a player's only meeting this. Correct. TCU doesn't seem to be right. They haven't been right seemingly since they went to Dublin, Ireland. They've got their best defensive player, facing assault charges for kicking a teammate in the head when he was on the ground. Things look off for sunny dikes and code down there and for a worth. But I will add the caveat gentlemen. The BYU Cougars and TCU had a pretty good run when they were together in the Mountain West conference. It has been 20 years going back to 2006 since BYU was one down there and for a worth.
They've actually only won twice all time at AM&G Carter Stadium. The first one was 30 years ago. The last one was 20 years ago. So it's only been three games in the interim down there and for a worth. But the BYU is trying to snap a streak against a team that looks like they may be in trouble. Yeah, this is where you find out a lot about like both teams that these games are fun because it's like TCU's probably in desperation. You're having a player's only meeting in September. Like you only ran it for what do they run for 33 yards against UCF? And that's the whole thing. It's like we hired a new offensive coordinator to fix this very thing. And like instead we're going to have the captains get together and figure out the flesh out the state of the program. And Chris, outside of their FCS game they're averaging less than three yards per team. That's what I'm saying. I mean, and if BYU goes in and wins in commanding fashion, okay. Now it's like, okay, this is there. They are who we thought they were. TCU's who we thought they were or maybe it's not. You know, I mean, that's the best beauty of these games.
You can't be a team like BYU if you're one dimensional to me. You have to be able to do multiple things off. And the fact that this team can't run the ball. That was supposed to be their strength while the Harvard education or not. It's not he's got to draw back and throw it. But that's not it's not happening. Man, Jake and Chris go for 300 yards of game because he has to. Yeah, yeah. And that's, you know, that's that's their only choice. So anyway, I do think that you can use the up game could be interesting. Yeah, yes. Yeah, I told you, she'll work and what? That's good. I'm so glad you circled back around that like Scott Frost. What a what a I mean, I understand right? Like you don't want to play. You don't want to wear blacks and he's in sun. He's like, he's like, they asked us. I'm not trying to be a jerk. And it's nothing malicious about it. But our only home jerseys are black ones. We're not. Where's your blue space you want? That's what I said. That's what I said. I'm like, it's more of a uniform like minute time.
All of night. Yeah, him acting like they only have two uniforms. Yeah, I mean, it might be one of the situations where there's like a licensing thing here. Like Oregon has a different jersey for every game. And they're like, well, it's licensed for this game. And we can't really make that happen. But like, realistically guys, the home team should get to pick their uniforms. Like that says as much as I don't blame them. Like it's it's very simple, you know, like I agree. I take the real question for me is you should take TCU behind the woodshed and teach him a thing or 17. But the question is, are you going to or is Klonny going to play nice and take a bunch of flip and knees? I wish I could say that he wasn't going to take it up big. But I've got 10 years of evidence of this guy. He's like, Klonny is not changing who he is. Simply because people would demand it of him. And I can tell you, I know people that are very close to him and said, this is it goes against everything in his nature to do that for whatever reason. I'd love to see it. I would love to see them put the proverbial foot on the neck and put TCU out of their
misery. Old yell to them if you want to use that expression. But it's not going to happen. I don't think the TCU, DC defense ain't that bad. So I'm not sure you're going to run away with the game. Well, I'm thinking I will. And by the way, BYU is going to be starting a freshman at right tackle this week. They lost their senior right tackles. That Phil, if you talked about your offensive line issues, that could be a weak point for BYU starting. It's either a registered freshman or a true freshman at that right tackles. Jay, Jake, it didn't stop Oklahoma State from, you know, they're one in Oregon. Yeah, it's part of the technical there, man. By the way, we'll have three linemen. Yeah, both of these young men are four star prospects. They're excited to see what they can do. So we'll find out real quick, JT. How excited do you watch your former quarterback, you know, go up against the Texas Tech Red Raiders? Yeah, it's going to be a long day for Isaac. You know, good for him. I actually thought he definitely looked better than Lewis last week. I think they make in the right call if they do roll with him moving forward. I think he's gets the ball. He's more aggressive. What was the clip of Brennan Marion? Stop playing scared when Julian and I think they're briefly their wide receiver looked better than Julian Lewis did last week.
So it's kind of a little bar like it's a very low bar. I agree with that. I'm looking forward to seeing what Wilson can do. And man, does that set up a fascinating revenge game? Wilson versus Utah in about three weeks. If this continues to go, but it's going to be a rough one for him. So at least Isaac Wilson is familiar with reading defenses. Chris level, I get the sense this is a similar situation. BYU TCU with tech in Colorado because both teams against teams that are desperate. What do you make of the red raiders here? Yeah, they're just not what I guess to use the coaching cliche. They're not the best version of themselves yet, right? They're getting healthier. The defense has started to play better. They turn it over. They weren't all on Wilham and they wouldn't all his fault. But still it's still that goes on his ledger. But yeah, the press conference this week was a lot shorter and a lot more serious. And it's almost like, okay, let's quit screwing around and I'll let I don't know if you can flip a switch like that. But yeah, I'm you know, in Joey, Joey McGuire used to coach one of Deon's kids
back in high school. So they have they're very tight. And I'm fascinated. Texas Tech hasn't played in Boulder since 2010 when Tuberville was the coach. So I'm just kind of fascinated to see what what it's like and you know, it's just kind of a foreign land even though it's a fairly quick flight and all that stuff to for Texas Tech anyway. But yeah, I don't know what to expect from the go-go offense and how good Texas Tech is yet. And but yeah, it's show and tell man, it should be fun. Mm-hmm. Hey, can I throw something in there real quick before we go? Yeah, let's hear it. Cincinnati, I think he's really going to give Arizona a scare that running game they have right now. I really think it's something that Evan Tankiston, the left guard for Cincinnati, he might be the best player in this conference. They are that good. I think Arizona will win, but I think Cincinnati is going to make that a game in the fourth corner. I think it's going to come out of the wire. Yeah, they're interior offensive like yes, you have the right there. Interior offensive offensive line as a whole is just I wish we had it. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, really good. They ask out of Satterfield during his post game press conference the other night after
they beat me in Kansas State, which is a good win. Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. You think about the late kick time and somebody goes actually coach the game won't even have started until 30 minutes later than we're sitting here talking right now. It's a 11 p.m. Eastern time on this. Yes. Yes. And I think that's a real thing. I do. It is. You're right. No, you're right. Yeah. He with Virginia was an 1115 body clock game. I believe if you're in your when he came back and you got to start. But the second half you could see they wilted because it was like midnight one a.m. on their on their body. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, so I, you know, I just since now, yeah, I think it's better than we all thought, but I'll just be curious to see the travels. Is there a final I guess question here, Chris. We've talked about a couple teams now that are better than anyone thought. Is there a team in the big 12 that's like wildly worse than everyone thought they were going to be? That's got to be T.C. Right?
I know you said Chris. Yeah. Probably. Yeah. I'll be sure. I'll be sure. I think it's easy. Yeah. Although it's early, I just I think we have to be careful about like, you know, making these both statements. It's like because it changes weekly. I mean, again, back on the head to Arlington. Right. I mean, this is. See? That's it. You get to be all prime and proper. I get to say no. TCU's hot garbage, Chris and that we're embracing. Well, see, and the thing about this is the UIU last time they were in Fort Worth, guys, some kid named Josh Hoover was a no named quarterback in his first career star. And we all know we're being down the line here. That's the thing you have to be aware of. All right. That's going to do it for this Friday edition of the big 12 squad. That's Arlington stole all Cody stole all and now celebrate in their impending visit to AT&T Stadium, apparently in December. Chris Lelves locked on text to ATWISTER.
