Iceage's 'For Love Of Grace And The Hereafter'

0:00On April 8th, Danish punk rocker's Ice Age just dropped news on their 6th studio album for Love of Grace in The Hereafter. It hits shelves, May 29th on Mexican Summer, following up their 2021 release, Seek Shelter. They've shared the new single Ember, plus star from last month makes the cut on this 12 track beast. The band aimed for something immediate and raw, stripping away extra fluff to capture pure energy. Houston makes by the group, and this by-stead, it mixes glossy edges with nasty riffs, hand claps, and chaotic breakdowns. They recorded at Silent Studio in rural Sweden, same spot from their 2014 album, to lock in that intense vibe. Fans are buzzing since it's their tightest work yet, bright and full of instinct-driven fire. Frontman Elias Runnfeldt says, The song stays strong, even stripped back, born from quick writing sessions right before hitting the studio for Max. Urgency. It's all about playing's raw pleasures, no forced influences.

1:02Ember kicks off with twinkling glocks and guitars before it's bloating into raucous indie rock, racing through city love with ominous hooks. The video, directed by the band and Ira Runnfeldt, amps up the chaos. Trackslide match-head girl, The Week, and True Blue round out a list packed with urgency. This one's got ice-age evolving while staying true, blending polished with their wild pulse-perfect fuel for live shows ahead. Music news, powered by AI. This is Music News Today.
