Brad Bowen welcomes Todd Brogdon and Shane Whitten of Hunters All Game, an Alabama hunting-product business. Todd describes how the brand outgrew what he could manage alone, while Shane brought business energy and helped expand production and online sales. The guests discuss how a small local store helped demonstrate demand, and why the company is now focusing on efficient production and distribution rather than chasing every retail opportunity.

The conversation covers the company’s mineral and attractant products, including why minerals can be useful year-round and how deer preferences vary by property and season. The guests encourage hunters to consider local habitat, try different flavors, and pay attention to product quality rather than relying on salt-heavy blends. They also share customer experiences—including deer responding to a new attractant—and explain that no product can guarantee a big buck.

The episode also explores the human side of hunting: helping young people get outdoors, sharing memorable hunts with family, and finding joy in someone else’s success. Todd and Shane tell stories ranging from humorous mishaps in the woods to deeply moving moments involving a stepson and a late family member’s hunting gear. The discussion closes on the idea that hunting is about more than antlers: it’s about relationships, memories, perseverance, and staying curious.

The company has a company, the Hunters All Game. If you haven't seen it, they're going to tell you all about it here in just a little bit. We've used it, and we took it to Texas with us last year. I think they've been successful in this first year. I think they get after it. They're kind of like the people we've talked to over the last two months. They work at it, and this is their baby, and they take care of it, and they care about it. It means more to have something small like that that's going, and that's growing. And let them come on here and tell about what they've got, and we're going to have a good time. I guess we can start out by saying, you know, guys, you all want to introduce yourself, and then tell us how this came about. Well, I reckon I'll start with that. I am Todd Braugden, Alabama, all game on Facebook, but the brand is, in fact, Hunters All Game. But, you know, he mentioned where we've come to in a year. And that's a year of accelerated progress.

Shane and I have actually become good friends, and this is our third year together. And how that came about is interesting, because at the time, I've actually been doing this five, if not six seasons. And it's just been, it has out, it outgrew my ability. Right. Period. Hey, that's a good thing. As long as you know it, though, that's the thing, and then you get ahead of it. But at the same time, it did fairly early. And, you know, I'm not going to go into personal life and distractions, but they've been ample. And three seasons ago, Shane reached out. Matter of fact, I think we've been talking about native sense, which I was still dealing with at the time. And he reached out about Hunters All Game.

At the time, he had a small gas station in Winfield, Alabama. And I don't want to say believe it or not, because he blew his one-sold little gas station, if you will, in the middle of nowhere, outsold 33 stores that season. Yeah, yeah, it's a hubbable. Post office where they outsold everybody, man. It's not even incorporated. I'm actually aware of that, so. But either way, store in a church. Let's go to school. The point is, he took this, he took this brand. And I'm pretty sure it was about mid-December. Oh, I couldn't do anything besides keep up with Shane and keep him supplied. And like I said, there's one little gas station in the middle of nowhere. Right. And, you know, there are very notable, I'm not going to go too far into this,

but I want to mention it. There are very notable places and stores that are a bit of a, a bragging right to get a product in. Right. But what I found out is, more times than not, you can call those places and say, hey, I was just calling to check on my inventory. How's the needs going? Do you need any more? Yeah. And if you can't, if you can, can get somebody to walk over there and take a look, you're lucky. Otherwise, the guy that needs to talk to you about that department isn't there. He's not there. So, like I said, without saying too much, you, you, you, you find your clientele. Not that you don't need those. They're very convenient. They're in busy places. But, but my best business has always been on the outskirts of town. Right. And so, after a year or two and they're out or after just a season, really, he said, well, I want you to ride up here and talk to me. And I'm going to tell you, and I, most people that know me, I'm a hard,

I'm a, I'm hard to get in. I'm just very guarded, very, I don't know, proud might be the word, but at the same time, that's the wrong way to have a guard. At the same time, there, at the same time, there is vulnerability. And, and, and Shane, we got to know each other as people and our, our, our dynamic and background, which, which is, which is very important and understanding a couple of fellas dynamic. And he said, listen, he said, I, I want to help you. And I was like, well, I don't really know what to ask for. And he said, well, let's just do this and that. And he, he, he helped me significantly. And then we got to the point, okay, well, we've, we've got this. We've achieved that.

What are we going to put it in? And we're not going to grow in the retail world. And I'll, I'll, I'll probably leave this into distribution here in a minute. But we're not going to grow in the retail world. If, if we don't have what's necessary on the bag and the labeling and everything, legally, right. And we also, you know, obviously trying to find ways to, uh, bag a superior quality product as least expensive as you can. Very hard to think. It really is. It really is. Cause you, you know, you think, all right, well, we'll order bags and then we'll get this, you know, this buddy over here to make some stick on labels. Well, man, do you know how much labor hours go into peeling stickers? It takes, it takes a minute. Good. Lower. It's like, that's like my buddy used to have a, uh, a pickled, uh, pickled quail egg company. Sounds good. Do you have to get those eggs out? It takes a minute.

You got to have some, you got to have some friends and family. So you know what? We're having a party here. But come over. Yep. The thing about shine is like I said, where I'm real, I'm real, I guess you deserve that. I don't know if that's the word or not to, to where every decision I make seems to be had, has to be very well thought out and justified. And sings the other way, you know, he's like, you know, whoop it. You know, let's, hey, let's try that. And he'll do it. And, and then he'll call me and let me know we did it. And I'm like, are you serious? You pulled that off. And so that is exactly what this brand needs. Somebody that would take the business wheel. Because I'm not great at business. I'm just not, my personality comes out on social media and maybe even in a podcast every now and then. But business like I'm a little standoff fish and, and do, do come across vulnerable. I admit it. It's confident as I may seem. It's not my game. Right.

And, and you know, Shane's willing to, you know, type out the emails, you know, try this, try that, you know, and, you know, with that said, we know, well, should we create our own website? Well, that seems like a great idea. Until you realize you're still responsible for your own shipping crisis. Yep. And so we decided, well, let's entertain these other methods of distribution. And, you know, these online platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and a TikTok shop. And with them, they'll offer, oh, get better shipping with you. Do you do? You do. Just just by using them, you get better. I think if you're a problem, remember you get free shipping. I'm not mistaken. But, you know, he made those things happen. So, you know, now we're on three international platforms that you can order from.

And, and, you know, still service retail. And he's doing all that legwork behind the scenes. Things that I either don't have the patients for, or just maybe even time. Like I said, I'm not going to get too far into my personal life. But I have a significant responsibility as a caregiver that, I don't know how to say that. Yeah. Get a tie, get down. Yeah. It's been a challenge. And it's been, it's been that way for a few years. And it's really never given me the opportunity to give the brand what it deserves. I'm crazy. Yeah. And that's just the dang trick. Yeah. I give it. And I needed help. And this may improve themselves to me. Yeah. You got a lot of people that have come to you. And they even offer and gave you things. And, and, and, and try to help you along. But sometimes you've got to just say thank you.

Pay that back. Yeah. And cut ties because you don't, you don't want to be indebted to one favor for life. Right. And that, that is just, man, there's, there's a trend there. There's a trend there. Any little bit of I did this or I did that, you're indebted to post for life these days. And, and, you know, with Shane Hanlon, a little bit of, of that alternate attention, it, it runs a lot smoother. Yeah. Um, I don't want to ramble, but, you know, he's responsible for getting us our new machine. Right. You know, uh, I've, I've been hand blending this stuff for five years. Elbow, with Elbow grease and a five pound scoop. That was a game changer then. Yes. Oh, Lord. So, one, you can do 50 pounds at a time by hand. Yeah. And work at it. For now, we can do, you know, 400 pounds in five minutes, 10 minutes.

And touch five pounds at so many times. It's a big game changer. It's a big game changer. So, would you guys say that your product is, is a, is a, more of a mineral or an attractant or both both. Okay. Um, and we have both. Okay. We sell a, a mineral and they also sell attractive. Okay. So, so like, I've done, I tried before I have some on here. Try to do a little research because I'm pretty much ignorant and everything. I'm no good. I'm no good. I haven't had anything. I'm a rough and scientist. So, you know, looking at sales for minerals or deer attracting, it looks like, and you're all going to know this better than me. It looks like August to September, October is your, is your mineral or from, from a Google search, talking about percentage sales. The biggest, the biggest time of the year for those guys is right then. September, well, it said, August through late September, October. And then it goes into attracting, right?

Depending on how you want to label a tracking, well, you're talking dopey or a good, or a good flavored snack with minerals in it. Because people, I think, forget, I'm guilty in the spring. I get my minerals out. I want, I want my deer to go to the big horns. Thank you. Okay. And then you get to the summer. Same thing if you're going to be feeding. Man, I've found, and I guess it's changing now as more people are sitting in the woods. We've got away from dog. And it took a long time and now there's legal to bait if you're paying for it. It took a long time for these deer to trust a sweet feed or any kind of anything that smells. You can never win them. Now they're here though. Our neighbors, I know feed the same thing that we would have out. And those, those deer now will stick their head inside of a darn trough feeder with a cover over the top. And it's like three years ago, they would run the opposite way if they heard a spinner. You know, so it's changing and they're changing and they're growing up seeing this stuff. And I think they trust it. So I think it's a big sale, you know. You know, we have some mineral NR attracted also. But I think what a lot of people don't understand is,

okay, like you said, that October to September, window or, you know, first of October, August to September. All right. That needs to be done year round. Oh, yeah. That's not. You're not going to grow that deer's horns or help him get help to the the those whether finds and all this. Just for a month, even for two months. Yeah. Because they're not being, I mean, they're not, they're carrying that. If you're stopping, they're carrying that baby without any minerals. Absolutely. You need minerals out your room. And we were talking about this earlier about the deer that were brought in here from out of state over the year. Right. That they, they're biology. It's not changed. Right. Right. You know what I'm saying? They're going to do what they do wherever they came from when they were going to do it. So, so in other family, you've got there's potential for, I'm going to say eight or nine months a year or having problems on the ground. I can roll along with that. I mean, it's true. Yeah. I mean, I've seen it.

It's not a huge, crazy number. But the possibility is, oh, and you know, we see some of us tongue is throat action right after season ends. Right. So, you know, oh, a lot of late routes. Yeah. No doubt. I think, I think a little bit of that, when it seems important is a little industry suggested. No, yeah. Because when you're putting things on the shelves, we have to wait for the fish and stuff to get out of the way. That makes sense. Yeah. So, it's a cast. Yeah. Your cast tend to be in a seasonal product. I know. No, no. Especially as a small bag or a buck. Out of sight, out of mind kind of thing. Because that's, I mean, I'm right there. I'm guilty too. You know, like we, we all want a pretty does field come September. Not really thinking about that and open them, April and May. And if you're not, you're too late in September. And the same way with the deer, you know, we, I guess, you know,

for us, we're in fake canning, Northern fake canning. And I don't really hunt a lot of other places. I hunt right here. So, you get, you know, I've hunted in this very spot for 20 years. 19, 19 years. Well, yeah, 19 years. And over 19 years of hunting, I have probably killed. So people might slap you on the wrist for this, but you know what? There's a lot of deer right there that I probably wouldn't kill. There's something I'd love to kill. But, you know, legal, you want to kill it? And I'll be right, you kill it or anywhere. If it's, you know, you go at it. It's your choice right there on the stand. I'm not prejudiced. You know, and that's, so, you know, it is what it is. You've got people around you that may call your six point of trophy. And you may want it to be two years older. You know what? I've killed a pile of deer that probably somebody would buy a mouth me for talking, but whatever. You know what, we've ate them. And I've been tickled to death. Now, there's been some years. Now, later on, we're out just sitting chill out. Because I got kids that want to shoot one of them. And it's changed a little bit. But like, now, in this day and age,

and people may have better properties. Y'all may be, you may be the only thing that helps get this teenage kid, a deer on the 10 acres that his uncle Lesson hunt. You know, they may not be an oak tree on site. They may be some private hedge out there somewhere. He may be in a pound thing. It would know there's no, there's no, there's no, brad, that's it. There's no cornfield. There's no soybean. So like, you can't knock somebody for wanting to try any of this stuff. I don't, I love, I love to use it. Because man, we like to see them show up within an hour, man. And maybe even sooner than that sometimes. So, you know, I guess what I'm getting at here is we're here. And we're we're at in this area here. You may find someone not baiting. Good pat, you know, good for you. But the majority of are. So you better, you know, you better take advantage of what is available. And if you see something that works, use it, we've seen this work. So we use it. And different is the key. Yes. If an area is is baiting, yep, they're more unlikely getting the same stuff.

It's the same from the same places. Yep. You need to throw a little something different in there. And give them to get them. Yep. That works. Well, they don't say it. They don't kill as many now. But as I and his man Adam, as you used to be. Right. And that's me now. I love. Of course, I'm, you know, trophy hunting. Yeah. Just watching them. We're not hungry. Number one, you know, but well, I mean, I'm not either. That's what I'm saying. Like we'll pop a couple of those. And we waxed them last year. But you know what? I think they've come back with a vengeance. It's looking at your pictures. So you know what? We may have an opportunity to get some more. So we're not going to go hungry. So we'll get to chill out and get one, you know. There's no shortage of no. No. No. So, you know, that's, I think, I think this year will be a fun year. And you know, we're right here in October. To where both seasons are going to come in. Change probably in the same boat as me. I got into bow hunting a little bit. 15 years ago. Okay. Well, maybe 20 years ago. And that kind of stopped when I had kids and took her started playing football.

You know, and I'm not, this is not a pity party. But like if you're working and you got kids playing some fall sports, that limits you big time. And then you just hard to go put that grand into a bow that you're going to use two weekends where you're getting bit by mosquitoes. And you may get snake bit for me, you know. Now that I miss a lot of deer because of that. Absolutely. Because we see a lot of these bachelor groups around here that split that you probably could have. I think advantage of. But you know, you know, Ellen too. Well, yes. So if somebody, you know, like for me, if I've got two or three, why not try something a little bit, put it down. If they love it, love it, let them stay the keep them there the best you can, you know. Well, in those sports, that $1,000 you're going by that bow. And now I've got to go to a baseball bat lover or whatever. Yes. Yeah. Oh, gas. Or gas. Yeah. It hurts. That gas is high. But me and sorry, we had to talk about that today. Yeah. But now I personally think and a lot of people may agree or disagree.

Deer are like humans. Yes. They have a different palette. They're all the same at all. You know, so if you poured out, just say, Apple, they didn't come to it. Yeah. But you pour out peanut butter and they're loving it. And you know, some of it to come to my opinion comes to coming. See, right. If if I'm in a pan thick in 40 acres, you know, plot, why am I putting out like rage or semi or salmon or salmon? Yeah. They don't have a clue what that is. Yeah. Yeah. It might spoken with that. Yeah. I mean, you kind of want to look at your surroundings too. The help dictate, I guess, what they're used to eating. And, you know, is there one that by far blows everybody out? But what do you think? It's interesting. You know, you can't ever predict what's going to be wanted. Next I can tell you that. Why does my relax being a teenager trying to figure out how to do your hunt

when dogs season get shut down for us? We don't know what to do. We're lost. I feel our safest. I don't like that word, but in conversation, I feel like the safest choice anywhere. Yeah. I've actually had people tell me they had deer don't like peanut butter. That's crazy. Well, yeah, yeah. I just abort those conversations. But consistently, especially if you just want to see more, something new and more of it, like I say, peanut butter really can't go wrong because because ears is a little different in the respect that you have a raw peanut meal. Yeah. Wayne coming off of it. But at the same time, I guess you'd say on the back and a sweetness of peanut butter. See, hitting that both ways and then when they taste it, it's kind of lights out. However, Apple, it hadn't been ordered since we made candy, Apple.

And I don't really know if deer knows the difference, but people there boy, that stuff smells good. It works good. So it is interesting. That's what I was going to say. It's the first year I started selling the store. Yeah. It was Apple. Apple. I mean, yeah. And then last year when we started doing old line and of course, the store stuff, it was candy apple. Yeah. This year, I'm selling 90% of peanut butter. Peanut butter again. Okay. There's no rhyme or reason. Okay. I got you. I can take a $500 order to the store. A variety of it. Yeah. I get there and they say you should have brought off percent. Nobody else has asked for being a percent. Right. You know what? So what off-layers do you all offer right now? I guess what we're saying. What's going to be coming? We have a we do Apple candy apple peanut butter for salmon and a cherry berry. Okay. Okay. I get like for me. I think I would hit. I would more likely be the peanut butter or apples.

Don't know if I go candy apple. I guess I'd have smelled it and see if I thought of it. I don't know why. Candy cherry whatever. Right. Yeah. Right. And now we obviously don't have product maybe this but we have to do have some other flavors we're playing with it. Right. You always got to be trying. You always got to try something. Right. And there's requested wings if you will out there that exists. You know, I mean, there's one called there's one called Wayne's addiction. And he's just a friend of mine. You know that we labeled that and and it called on and he does great with it. But it's just it's a smorgasbler of flavors. I mean, it's like a bear trap. Oh, yeah. I mean, yeah. Well, have you had anybody have y'all had people that contact you that are hogging and using this as an attractive? I don't see how it wouldn't. Some not trying to say that it would be the problem. But like, man, people are out for that too.

In certain areas, you know. Well, people are going to see me grinning. Yeah. When I started this, yeah, I was more in the hog kind. Well, I see you. That's what I was. Then I was deer hunting. Right. But I learned real quick. But you ain't going to sell a whole lot of hog attract. Right. Because they laid off my last. Well, I'm just wondering you got the hardest. The guy that's got that 40-acre bottom that that can't get on those hogs that he knows ripping his fill up. I mean, it is. Dump it out. Go sit in the weekend. You won't be able to talk to him, you know. We do it. I get to do it. I don't know a couple of times a year. My buddy Tommy's place and sell my and. Yeah, it's it's very effective. Absolutely. Very effective with the hogs. And which is also another. You can look at the my up of our customers now, the BAM. Right. And you can tell where there's hogs. They're not going to spend on any money. Own a quality product for hogs to eat. It's going to be gone. Yeah. And I mean, that right there in itself is a challenge. You get below Montgomery towards towards you.

Well, you can't man. That's that, you know, the guy that I knew that had a or I know he had a property in the Moples. As you know, when you pull up to his property, the best thing to do is get on the tractor with a blade to go check your roads. And if you're going to bait, you put that corn out that day. Because if not tomorrow, it's rooted up if you didn't get to sit and watch those deer. You know, it was something I've never had to deal with. Thank the Lord. I never had to deal with it. But it's definitely good. We got him across the river. Thank God. I think across the river. Well, I'm just saying like if I knew if I had him on camera one day or if they ridden it up a few, I'd probably dump something like this in hopes the weekend would pull him back. You know, and build the puff him and be rid of what problem I had for the time being. I know it's hard to eradicate. Well, you know, we, it's it's obviously the name, you know, Todd had, you know, all game. There's all game. Right. Uh, that's why it's behind the home. Yeah. I guess. And it was all of them being one flavor and other and real quick. That's how it is. In fact, different. Yeah.

A buddy of mine called me and hit ball bunch and put it out and he said, man, I'm getting dear like crazy. Yeah. I said, but God at the crows. I'm getting crows. Yeah. Counties. You know, some and I said, oh, it says all game. It's bringing everything. But it's not intentional. It's the same stuff that's in everything else. You know, different ration. And I'm not going to say that brings in a coyote, but when you got a lot of that. You got all the, you got all the game. They're coming. I mean, they're, I think they're, I think they're checking out the scent more than the food. Yeah. Yeah. No doubt. Well, let me ask you this. You said that you mentioned it just a minute ago. If people listen to this and they're looking for maybe something different to try. And I figure a lot of people that's listening right now is I have, I use this or have used it for sure. If they're, if they're looking for this and they don't know which store to get it, where is there a list of stores that they can find this or is it best to get online?

Like you guys said, you got the big retouch, like an order and ship it straight to. Exactly. What do you suggest right there? I mean, if they don't know their store that carries it in their town, because it's hard to sit here and list that, I get that. And it's also a little hard for me to say who's going to get it by one day. And who's going to get it? Yeah, it's hustle time. Her flavor too, you know, I mean, it's hustle time. And there's a little bit of work yet to be done. And you do run in those retailers that we've had customers call us. Yeah. Hey, I stopped by so and so. Yeah. They don't got it. You told me that they did. They did. When it comes out, we don't have the time, no money to run store to store store every week. Every week when you can chase and maybe. I call it chasing maybe. And so we rely on that store to let us know. You know, I was older and 150 bags a week. Right. You know, and we got big name retail stores to go give it to him back. Oh, yeah. You know, come on, man. It's on this humiliating. Yeah. You know, and I'm like, really?

You know, like, I mean, I guess that's fine. So it's the sure way to know you're going to get it is order. I mean, we do have it in stores. We're working in the way we're set up. There's absolutely no waiting. If something's not made, you go right out there in the shop. If you do it in there, it's done. If we're going to order, would you rather be through a Walmart Amazon TikTok deal? It's what's best for them. Yeah. I mean, is that there's the thing? That's the only thing I'd be the three to get. All right. That's what's making sure. Yeah, that's. And I'm doing some research working on some more, you know, but. I'll talk right on that little beef. The part he was talking about earlier with the patients. Now I have said at night, everybody's asleep. I understand this. Yes. He does. He does. And cuts these people like it in my mind. Yeah, huh? Because they don't make it user friendly.

No, no. And they'll approve your product. And then they'll turn on and send you a flag. Or, you know, well, you got to change this word. Or they'll sell it for two years. Oh, yeah, you got. And then they'll find a certain line of it. I got to change this word. And I'm like, yeah, you know, it basically can't be about deer feed. Right. I'll say this though. Like, if I start, you know, having. Who? I'll back up here. There's probably a lot of people who haven't ordered anything on Amazon or TikTok or Walmart. But there's a lot of people to have. And if you you can get it through that, then wear it out and get it and get it at your house pretty quick, and you'll be you'll be there anyway. But Amazon is our biggest seller. Okay. And then it's TikTok and Walmart. I got you. But that's my big that you're there. There's a muddicking top that in and get it. I still I still look back and and see what he's achieved by trying. I saw. And and and I and I don't really even

to this day even sitting here talking to you right now. I don't really realize this is mine. It's a little surreal. And it has been every single year. That's awesome. Um, it it. It's becoming something to special in. What he was leading into is you're asking about is there a place where we can find Oh, you know, the retail list or this that any other. Um, unfortunately not exactly. Oh, I tried it. I'm trying my best to keep Alabama all game. Yeah. Cleaned up and more business driven. Right. These days on Facebook. But you know what we've learned real quick that our business is not from Facebook or social media at all. It's where it am I. It's not at all. Don't give me no. I just shouldn't say it all. But when you get those those those guys are willing to buy a lot of good product. Yep. They did they didn't find out about that on social media.

Right. Well, it too with kind of. Jumping on that with with the TikTok. If you don't have time to sit there and do 30 videos a day. Yeah. And then your product don't get show. It's not. Yeah, you have to everybody else. Mm-hmm. It's a yes. I get it. And we. And I don't really have to talk. You're working, man. I'm seeing them over there seeing. I mean, nothing I don't have an account. But I don't I'm stuck. I'm like in the end of the thought. I'm stuck in Facebook land. Not like saying like Shane just said. Y'all are working. So that's what makes a difference. That people you can go buy something that maybe you've seen around for 50 years where it's a million-dollar company. Or you can talk about something. These guys have worked on that works in this area. And they make it. So I mean. Well, and you can get online in order to have a sent to you. You're. Easily and like I said, if you paid for your prime membership or take advantage of the two furs or the you know this or that off.

A lot of a lot of those sales. Right. Are generated by them or suggested by them. And then they actually will put that in front of some people without us having to do all that creator. So do y'all have. We're going to get now later on. We're going to talk about. I want each of y'all to give me a good core memory hunting story. I hope you told him this because I want to hear one. Hey, maybe it's together. I don't know if y'all hunt together any or not. But you know, we're going to get both of them. But as far as as far as the all game right here. What's one of the craziest stories you've gotten from somebody. What's one of the artist animal kills you've had off of that that you know of. And maybe what's the biggest deer that you know that has has been killed with the use of this. Three things right there. So brag on it for a little while, I guess. We have tons of. I'm sure there's a pile. Tons of videos and you know, to me, that's what that's what helps. I can't have brag about our product on it alone. Right. You have to have customer testimony.

Yeah, we're making money. Right. But customer testimony. That's it. But I'll tell you one kind of hines. Yeah. He bought some last year, year four last. He bought a bag of it. He went and put it out and he said, but then in an hour, he said, he's come just 10 point. He wasn't getting seen yet. He said, I said, well, did it lock it? He said, I don't know. He said, I didn't want to eat. Why didn't you want to eat it all up? Now that that's pretty good because you're talking about a real professional hunter right there. He don't have any time on the thing as either man. So he might work out for him. So there you go. He called me that night and he said, third, he said, I put this out and listen in an hour. Here it comes. All right. Well, that's a good one. What's the way you think? I think it's I think it's because it's different. Yeah. It it's kind of one of those products where you do it used every single time. Somebody walks in the woods. Right. And a few 10 or 20 times before that.

But at the same time, that's when it becomes a feed to me. When the animals get used to something. They gotta be there. Yeah. And then it's not you might say 12 more animals than you were seeing over just corn. But then you've got just 12 more animals. And then you got, you know, Mr. Buck here, a few wandering around that field. You know, they don't always step in. But when they do, it's when all their body else is out of the way. And you've put a little something out of the ordinary down. Like I'm a man. And you catch them off guard. They are in fact vulnerable. And they're a friend of mine. I've said this a thousand times. I'll say it again. A friend of mine said something to me and he and it stood where me and his name's Benji. I went to school with him and I said, Todd don't ever underestimate a dear curiosity. Yeah. And that resonated with me pretty well with what I do or with what we do.

And that's why I say a lot of times also things have to make sense. There's nothing out here that's that's foolproof and a one-off kill law. Yeah. And it doesn't exist. Right. And so, you know, what we offer you, you can afford to try a few things. And find that happy maybe and then what you need to slip out there a little bit of hidden time and bust one on. Yeah. There's a way. I hate to care if they didn't even get the taste. Yeah. No, they didn't get the taste. Well, anything. All right, so you got that that's that's one to start with you. Have you got do you like really have what do you do remember as somebody's college and said, they would I kill this stud one whatever. Oh, and I know it come to this. Is there one of them that sticks in man or either one of you? Because I have a law. I have a law and I'm aware I'm aware that I'm not sure after this past season.

I'm pretty sure he registered it. We have a good half of those and bugs in the books. Yeah. In Alabama that are created in the building. I guess. Yeah. And that's and that's a unless people that went that route and you know, we also have a whole lot more customers that don't tell what they're doing and I can't tell you what they did. That kills me all the time. I understand that. I tell you the problem is the the the audits are or exotic. There you go. Would be Tucker's red stats. Stay there. Stay there. Extend. Yeah. Out in Texas. But now I have been last year. I went out in Texas two years ago. Yeah. Dear hunted and you know, those those hogs and those deer. They're waiting on that feeder. Right. You know, so I took some with me and I wanted to see if it you know, if it worked. Yeah. Pull them to the side.

So I went about 80 yards before you get to that feeder in the middle of the dirt road going to the feeder. Pour it out just one bag. So we're talking, you know, there are four pounds. Went got the shooting house and here come these deer waiting on this feeder. They walk out. Stop turn. Walk down the road and start eating. Here come the hogs. Turn on the deer off. For two for two days, they come back scratching the ground with them. In that bag. Because it was something different that we'll get out there. And those minerals are in it. There you go. And when they run out, they'll still come back. They're going one no thing. And I got video, you know, I video down there. And it just blew my mind. But just like that red stag, you know, I'm sure he ain't never taste that one. No, no, no, no. Maybe some corn and some protein pellets, you know, but but and I think Todd, I could speak for him too. The best stories I love and I ain't knocking nobody.

Yeah, it's the kids. Yes. Yeah, man, it's fun in here to see people coming here and tell what they've done. Messing you and or, you know, one of them is buried. Yeah. You know, that's all right. Every time I see him, he's like, hey, I can buy some of that. I got to buy some of that. So one day I just grabbed a bag and I take it. I get to him to sit here, you know, but he was dead said he's won't come. And my aunt's taken, I think they killed a deer that day. Well, I won't tell you this. I don't know if he did it with his last year. I believe it was. I left to go to work one day and I drove by where they're hunting. And I know they're there and I see like, I told him they was 15. That's probably six. Pretty close to the shooting house. And I felt like and I said him a message because they were out of school. It's probably Christmas break something. I said, man, you should have been out there today. And we're talking about a young kid. I said, man, you should have been out there today. He said, I'm here. I said, well, what are you looking at? There's deer on the range. So I don't know if him and his look cousin were asleep.

He swears like, wasn't he? He opened the window and they ran off. But man, he struck out. But that was deer all around him. I laughed, man, when I got to the road, he sent back. He said, I'm here. I said, what are you doing? What are you doing, man? There's deer all around you. But you know what? Maybe he's waiting for the big bug. But anyway, he loves to hunt. I know he does. He came over here and his dove hunt was busted up by football practice, but he came over and got to dove on a little bit. So maybe he'll kill the good one this year. And we can get him on an early time. I really am truly. And I've said this a couple times. He's got a place to hunt. And a lot of kids don't. I don't know when we can start doing something we've had. I really want to get to a point where we've got some connections with a couple people that are willing to take a couple kids a year hunting. They don't get to hunt because we're in a small spot right here. There there was kids who went to school with Tucker. That had never been and had nobody to take them. And then we would get them over here. And I try to talk them in to get their license first. Because if you're going to do it by the time they were doing that, they need to get your license. Get your license, man.

And we'll go. And they did two or three of them. You know, and they got to kill the deer. And now they probably won't have one of my know hunts all the time. The other one I'm not sure about. The other one maybe. I don't know. But like I wish we could get to a point through this show. Maybe some point somebody will be willing to help us to where we can get kids from every community to go because they're a couple of years down the road. Those are going to be the people helping us keep our rights that we have to go hunting and do everything. And if they don't care about it, they'll never know what they didn't have. And that makes a difference. And you don't miss what you didn't have. That's what I'm saying. They don't know. And they're unfortunate. A lot of broken homes. They say don't have fathers in the house or whatever. Yeah. You know that you know that kid don't get to do. Yeah. And I'm on board. We're going to figure out. They're going to be something one day. Hold that thought. Because I'm actually talking to two kid organizations. They're out there. I'm talking to two right now.

Yeah. And that I'm going to contribute to. So let me get to know them a little better. And see where we can go. There's there to be killed, dude. And I'm not that guy that's going to push you off. I'd rather take care of the kids. And you know, but you know as well as I know. If you own a farm, a hunting farm, and obviously you could walk out there any day and shoot 150 inch 10 point. You've got cold air. So why not set that up to where you could bring a kid to shoot that cold air? And you know, someone probably would go out there. Yeah. They're there. Well, they call themselves outfielderers now. But I mean, they seriously, a doe, a doe. They're diamond doesn't. Yeah. You know, at least. I just there's a this is just beginning for us doing this. I think we've been blessed here. And it's been fun. It is fun. And there's going to be there's going to be a connection somehow to where we can help get some people to do some stuff. I think it's going to come pretty easy for your brother.

I tell you one more. That's actually right over here. But it might also burn. And his wife matters. You know, they they had been getting a really nice nice eight point. Right. Coming out every night every night has not daylight at all year long. I understand that. And so he bought some some apple flavor. And actually poured it over apple flavor corn. That's the reason he bought that flavor. And he said, man, I put that out on Monday. He said, or stay work. This deer has daylighted every day since the end. And they killed it that Friday morning. He said, we have not had a picture of this deer. Did they light until we put that out? It was out there. Yeah. And he said, you know, they've been feeding it corn stuff. Yeah. They have something a little different. Yes. And he sweared by it. You know, he said, man, we wouldn't kill. She would not have killed that deer. Yeah. We would not be able to do that.

Like far enough, man. And you and there's there's a lot of that. Right. And we all want to see, you know, the big rags. They're good. And they're great for business. They ain't no doubt. But man, that heart's full. When I get that message and said, look what my little boy killed. It's first deer. And he's got a rack on it bigger than anything I've ever shot at. I mean, I'm like, all right, my heart's full. I'm at Adam at all. Y'all keep going. I live by carelessly through y'all. 100%. Yeah, really. It's so. But I will go on record and say it's awesome because I have people ask me at the store. Yeah. Which bag bring me a big book? Well, if I need that, I wouldn't be here today. Yeah, I'd be having him on my own land. It would be a little better off. Yeah. And I can move there and do your bus shopping. Yeah. Yeah. I don't. 100,000 lakers. I'll help you. I can plant the fields for you. You know, what I'll cook breakfast and do all that stuff.

If I need to walk with bring a big book every time, I wouldn't have. That's what people at work, they walk in, you know, and I don't know if you ever did, you know, like people walking in like, when is it going to stop hurting? And I'll be and I'm not in the lace bit trying to be a smart book because I can be a smart book easily. I'm strange right now, but I'm looking and I'm like, I'm like, well, I don't know. And if I did know, I would not be here. I would be I would go ahead and place it there. And then I would probably retire to a big hunting lodge somewhere and we would wear it out every day. You know, we're giving it a try or buy some, buy some timber. So, anyway, you know, it's hard to tell folks, man, you can go from trial and error, use things, try things. I think y'all are pretty successful with it. I mean, I know you're, man, you, you're growing so well, I'm going to kind of say this. We've had several testimonies where man, I put this out and this out, you know, not got anything. I put this out. Oh my god. You know, dear love salt. Yeah.

You know, it does really not a lot for them, but they like it. They like it. So I love. I try not to knock another company because, but you know, if you can go buy a 20 pound bucket of minerals for 999, you're buying about 9% salt. Yeah. Or even 1999. Yeah. I mean, you know, I'm saying like, yeah. So when you actually make a quality mineral, that's a little higher. You get what you pay for. Right. It's not a box of salt. It's not a box. It works. Yeah. But you don't salt get a salt box man. That's the beauty of my, you know, five, six years in. I do have landowners and deer growers with a testimony of Jerry Web's a great one. Um, namely Jerry because he's real big.

He's up on the mountain in Woodville. And when you get a handful of people that use your product three or four years and they know every deer on their property and have named and know where their cowlicks are and all that stuff. You get a good feel and understand them for growth. Because, you know, I've even heard people go as far as to say and we're not going to change the genetics in a free range of deer. That's horse. That's that's that's crap. If you can hold a deer, you can make it bigger. And that's the goal. That's the goal. And if you're holding that deer and giving it a premium, blend for a few dollars more. Oh. And you see a notable, a notable growth if you're managing and paying attention. Right. Um, a lot of the appeal is the instant attractability and how many deer, which one you see.

But that's not that's not the long game. That's really not the long game. I'm proud if one steps out and for an area that you'd all to bus. I really am. But I'm also interested in the long game and and making. I guess you'd say inferior feeds and corn a little more appealing. You know, if you want to add it to it, we're just kind of wanting you to just throw it on the ground and let it rip. They like to browse anyway. Right. You get, you get, and I've had this happen. Um, you're going to see my men, he can park a truck in it. Yeah. I'm like, okay, what do you put in it? I put salt, salt block. And I said, so you got to salt it. Not a mirror. So that's a different, you know, like that I've been guilty of that for years. Yeah. You know, um, here's salt does do a little bit. I've researched. Well, they do desire it. They like it, of course, but it does give them a little bit of stuff, but not like an actual mirror, right?

You know, right. And in the long game, it helps with digestion and a few things right off the bat. And ours has about 17% salt somewhere in that neighborhood. Yep. 24 at the most. And that's if we don't, if that's if we don't mix it right. Gotcha. So I mean, ours is getting a lot better, a lot better premium. Yeah. But, um, you're getting, you're getting more for you, Monty, when you're getting minerals versus just the salt to weigh the bag now. I mean, I get it. No doubt. And, uh, you want to announce this? I want to, I'll actually let you, but I was going to say one more thing about the minerals and salt. Yeah. If you go out there and you pour you 20 pounds for you to pounds, I don't care how many pounds. Yeah. And you go out there and after one rain, everything you poured out is gone. That's a good sign you didn't buy a mineral blend. Right. Because even after a rain, they're still going to be physical mineral on the ground. It all don't.

It, it, so that's a good way to know whether you're getting what you're getting. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And, and, and ours, ours is going to stay on the ground. They're going to get an opportunity to eat off the ground before it about be absorbed. Yeah. Yeah, sure. What's your got there? Well, um, we're actually going to, you know, we sell the bags, um, and they're going to be kind of more retail. So, you know, we still got several bags, we got to sell. You know, we're all probably way ahead about. We had a bond. I'm going to get a better deal. But, um, we're actually going to start moving away from the bags and selling or attracted in the buckets also. Okay. Um, and in doing so, it's going to be $30 of the bucket for the, the, the, the attracted in that bucket. Mm-hmm. So essentially, what you're doing is, you know, we're, you know, a host selling these,

you know, to a retailer for, um, you know, $10 for a take and they're, you know, they're putting on our suggested retail is 14 and so. Yeah. Um, so you're actually getting doing this, you're basically getting a bag and a bucket free. Yep. That makes sense. I got you. Yep. So for, for these bags, actually about four and a half, we'll fill that bucket. Yeah. Uh, and then of course, you got a nice, you know, bucket. Yeah. Around the house. I heard you can talk things around. But that's what you say. And, you know, and you don't, you go take a bucket and have one spot. But if you get two spots, don't, you know, it'll go farther. I mean, that, that goes down with this new machine. Um, a bag don't go far, especially, you know, with, with a deer lock it and they hit it. Yeah. In any last one. Right. Um, so kind of, I don't know if it's hard to go by. I'm trying to buy a bag for out at $15 a bag.

Yeah. Yeah. It's hard. Um, but we can do it in bulk now, which also saves us labor. Yeah. And, you know, and we can fill the buckets a lot faster with came bags. Yep. And so, these do its buckets start to finish in literally about 20 seconds and get it going. Yeah. So it's, we don't have to talk. And you got to touch these things. Wow. You got to touch them. So many times. Right. You got to open the bag. You got to zip it up. You got to heat it. You know, yeah. Um, seeing it, you know, so kind of what we decided and, and, and talk about was, you know, hey, you're getting more for your money. Right. A lot less strain of us on us. Right. Um, man, you can go pour out what you want. You can do it if you want it or you can try to split it or whatever. Yeah. Um, so those will be on sale starting today.

October. Yeah. Yeah. That's what we're, those become available. I like to say, uh, I kind of want to go back just for a second about you, your question about, uh, is there a place to find retail locations that's at the other? This year, whether it makes sense to anybody or not, it does us with, with our plans. Right. So this year, you're not going to find us beating the streets and pursuing retail. We are trying to adapt, learn, and bring the ability of actual making this stuff for one company and entertain and distribution. So we, we're looking enough to have the ability to, you know, perhaps pull back on, you know, those, uh, those retail out, you know, brick and mortar retail outlets, if you will. Um, and I don't necessarily think it'll hurt us.

If you call us and you want it in your store, I'm not going to matter. I'll be on the way. Um, but like I said, I mean, we're just not going to chase maybe right now when, when we need to put what time and attention we have into this next step. Well, you know what's that? Yeah. Like I was going to say, we're lucky enough to be able to, I guess you'd say sacrifice a little, um, no, I don't. You got it. You got a great, yeah, we're going to be able to sacrifice a little this year to adapt to bigger and better things, which lowered. I mean, you know, if things go right, they do their own marketing, marketing analysis, you know, they'll see what, what locations your store will best do. You know, I mean, and that's priceless. I, but there is a lot of red tape, um, legalities, um, and, and, and in the end, find in your

profit. Right. You also have to consider a fair amount of, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, consignment. Right. Yeah, we're not exactly built for that. We're going to have to make the real good deal. But, um, that's the reality. And we're actively pursuing, yep, if you're watching, we are. Looking for a, it's not going to not be or active pursuing a distribution center. Okay. I've reached out to a few, um, because they have people going to store the store for a week. Right. You know, so this one will ship it to you. Have we need to? Yeah. And then you distributed and, and two of them, two of my reached out to, you know, I've offered, you know, the price where they're making, you know, 35% profit. And when they sell a third retailer, put them in shelves, they're making 35% profit. That ain't good enough for people. Wow.

Um, I don't, I don't understand it. It's, um, I think it's, it's, it's, it's, it's a volume on a dime, on a $10 product. Right. And what I think it boils down to a lot of it is, well, that was a little under, but you know, the main analogy is they can buy these other products cheaper. Yeah. So, you know, but that's fine. You know, but we are actually, actually trying to find some, you know, a distribution center and it'll happen. It'll happen. And when it does, it'll be a different smoker and then it'll keep rolling. Well, one thing to I can tell you about me. I don't give up. No, he doesn't. He doesn't give up. It's like we have no 14 times, but I'm going to keep, I'm going to keep telling you. I look, I talked to a guy Friday, a salesman and I was asking him something. I hadn't talked to him in a long time. And he said, he said, always told my guys that if somebody told you, well, never sell that here. That meant that day. Right. That was that day. And I could go back tomorrow and maybe they'll tell him that again, but that meant that.

And he said that I got so tickled. I said, that's okay. I get you. Well, and I put a lot of of my sales experience lumber into this. Yeah. I mean, I've been told many times. Yes, right. But my email, when I sent out email for a lumber, I put a quote at the bottom of my favorite. Don't let the fear of striking out. Keep playing the game. Play the game. You know, I'm going to get told now. And we're going to get told now. And as a couple guys on this list right here, we're going to talk about it. They wouldn't scared to play the game. And now there's a, they're doing some awesome things. Yeah. You have to be just cross your fingers. Pray, have the faith and try and try. We hadn't really been told. No, it's the thing. We're waiting for a reply. Might be a better. There's a possibility. Yeah. Yeah. So we've covered some stuff with some seed. We've went today and we talked about the attracting that mineral. That's a combo package right.

And now I want to throw, I want to throw some credit to some of our sponsors right here. But and then after that now, we're going to, we'll give you all guys the chance in the end and talk about your product again for a second if you want to. But I want you guys to be thinking up that core memory store. You can each have one. That's fine with me. But I'm going to, I want to talk about these sponsors real quick. King cutter. Number one, it is October and you better know what equipment you do have. If you don't have it, find the King cutter dealer or somebody who carries the products because if you're interested in hunting, you need to, if you need, if you have a tractor or a sketch there in ATV, they can have you with any equipment and they're coming up with new stuff pretty much. It seems like monthly. I see a new place for some type of attachment that they have. And this company's been around forever. So you can trust them. Yes. And their stuff work good at tearing things up and their stuff don't tear up often. So I'll give them credit. Next up would be a co-op effect county Kelly again as is always willing to help kids in

our area. So I think it's worth my while to give her some, some business in there and she, she will work with you. If you will call her and try to get you a price on some bulk stuff, it'd be worth the drive. And then we get some things to start some fields. They sell a lot of stuff for, for dear season. And you know what? They all, I thought about it today. I was like, what do they sell? You know what they sell? They sell those traps that can catch those records that keep eating all your, all your feed. So you know what? Maybe that's possibly the way we hadn't thought about that yet while we're on here talking about them. But give them, give them an opportunity to earn your business because I don't think they would lose it if you give them a chance to kind of help you with some, with some seeds. Next up, and this was the guys I was, some of the guys I was talking about that hadn't been afraid to, to take a know from somebody but hook and hustle. I talked to Kyle just today. He said they got some new things that are going to be kind of, for them product wise, pretty soon coming on their shows. He said, just remember to be looking on TikTok and Facebook to kind of get their show dates and times and get on there and out, bid your buddy on some fishing gear if you like to fish.

And we've got two new sponsors last week. We had Matt on here with WMS seeds and, and we're going to try some of his blends this year. And, and I think I'm going to probably go with the Alabama blend and I'm going to have to get some of those, some of the Clover and I don't know if you guys listen, listen to it. Well, if you, but right now you probably had, but it's a great, great WMS is a great product. I share some, I, I happen to share a lot of, still space with them. They, they sound, you know, I'm going to give them a chance. Why not? You know, you can find, they've got seeds all across the South. I mean, they had BAM, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. And you can order it, but like Matt said, you know, you're going to have to put those like you guys said, shipping's what gets you if you're ordering free range. But either way, the next one is another one of those guys that wasn't afraid to be told no, I don't think, but a memory mount. We had these guys on one of the first shows because he's a friend of ours and Tucker had found him last year. And, and I still put this out there and I, I know Shane knows what it is.

I don't know if Todd's aware of what it is, but name something that's came and changed taxidermy or amount in your life more than what you can do with a memory mount. Absolutely. That's crazy to me. But you, you memory mount, if you don't know what it is, it's a little chip that can be embedded by your taxidermist into your forms, sticks right into the brisk chest right here, just like Tucker done to his stack. And you can load your pictures, you can load your, your video of your hunt, it can go in a duck, it can go in any amount you have. And he's got stuff for retro tags that can be added to something you've had on the wall already. Or if you just want to add it yourself, he's working right now to, to do something big. And I hope he succeeds. And I want to help, I'm trying my best to help him to, to, to get it to where, you know, pretty much anybody can get a hold of this and, and set it up for theirself with the retro tag or some other things. You got the skull, the skull brackets for the skull mount. We've got one there. It says easy to do. And you, it's crazy how you, you don't have to have an account.

You get the card, you get the QR code, you scan it, it opens up and you can load your pictures. You can tell your story and they even have an app now that doesn't cost anything. If you get on there and look at everybody else and you share it, it's like a, it's, it's awesome, dude. I'm going to have to check it out. I honestly haven't seen it. It's awesome. And if you're paying for a mount, you're not going to say no for the price. I just, I don't, I don't, I feel like the only reason it hasn't gotten crazy is because people don't know because nobody says no to it for the price because it's, it's, it's mind blowing and I'm proud of him, man. He seems like a, a very good person and he's really working to try to get this thing to expand. He's some of the struggles like Shane says, trying to get things set up and all. There's a lot of different things. I hope I can help him because he, he helped Tucker out early on. Tucker was one of the first people that he was, well, he's maybe the second one out of the band, but to be able to use it in his taxidermy shop and, and he's trying to figure out a way to market to, to the, to the public versus just the taxidermist because the taxidermist has to do the chip work.

But there's other, there's other parts they have that don't have to be in a taxidermy shop. You can add it later and it's going to be too easy for you to go into a store and buy that, but it's going to be awesome when he gets it. But either way, I know that was a little long winded right there, but I, I really think a lot of him and I know these got all of these guys that support us and trust us. So anyway, now we got that out of the way. And this is what we're at. Sponsorship and relationship. 100% you got to have them. I want to elaborate on the memory map. Come on with them. One, this world is not made for small businesses to make it. Right. And I'm just being honest. Right. For sure. For sure. It is. Yes. But, you know, I got that memory mount on my turkeys from Texas. Right. You know, I have buddies come over and I got several deer on the wall. Right. You know, I think people don't realize every one of them. Where did you kill this one? You know, go touch it and see. Well, hey, I can pull this up or you can pull it up on your phone and it has all my videos,

my pictures. It's freaking crazy. And everything that I, you don't have to have an account. You go touch it. It opens on so far, man. And it takes you to their picture and their video. And it's, it's the coolest thing that that I've seen and touched on me in my lifetime. And I, I say that every time, but I mean it. And I, you know, somebody needs to beat that because it'd be pretty cool, you know, I mean, I thought it was awesome. So he, again, man, he's a good dude. And I like talking to him. He's grown now to where he has to have help. And that's awesome. That's like, that's your story. You know what I mean? So. And finding somebody that will actually help, you know, be hands on, be business-minded. And like for me, like I said, it, it was a lot to prove to me. You found the guy. Oh, yeah. Yes, I do. So look, we got those out of the way. I need to, who's going to go first here? I need to look. Hey, I'm going to have to look. I'm telling a good, huh? The story, Hill. I just live by car or sleep to everybody.

He's got it. I have specials there. If it's not a, if it's not a hunting story, something out there. I'm not a special story, but I don't know if I qualify for the Wallhanger category. Oh, yeah. I was trying to think earlier. I got, you know, cerebral, but one of the funniest ones. All right. We'll take that. Um, is I don't know. That's probably 17. Okay. You know, I was in a club in Hackerberg. Would you have a happy figure finger finger like I do when I was 17? Yeah. Okay. But this club, we wouldn't lab sheet those. Well, that made it hard. That's tough. I have a statue. It's probably out now if you need to tell about it. Yeah, that's right. Um, but we always hunt the morning. We get down hunting. We go get a biscuit. So when we come out and make mandra. Right. You know, to the parks we didn't hunt. Yeah. And, uh, it was my turn to walk. You know, I always hated that part. I understand. I understand. And, uh, you know, it's a pound thick. It's probably walked through it in 15 minutes. Yeah.

About halfway through that biscuit. I'm going to get inside and time. Time. Yeah. I got to do my bed. Yeah. And. So I have to take you have to use my shirt. Awesome. Yeah. And so I don't know who you saw. No, no, no. That's a good story. Well, this. How about that? That biscuit socks wouldn't go in word anyways. But, uh, they're hulking horn. They're hollering. You know, they're some wrong with me. We're saying that. And, uh, and I come walking out that time thick. Nothing but orange vest on. I saw. Yeah. And they did. Did they. They, they, they understood. So no baritates. No, when they seen that, they really. That's a, that's a standard. You know what I have to ask them, you know. And that was before I got smart enough to care a backpack with. A little something. And this, you know, something's going to happen. In case you might need to use something, you know. Um, so you think your buddies that we will, they will equal. Like if I say, hey, tell me a story about Shane.

They're going to say, what's one time we thought he got hurt and he walked out of the woods without sharing them. That's probably going to be one of the. I got some of those in my voice too many. I have actually left. It was more than a few times without a sock. It happens. It does. That's what for sure. It happens. You don't want to sacrifice anything else besides one for some reason. I don't know. So you didn't, you didn't even kill it either. That was you remember that. No, I didn't kill him. You're at that. Well, you'd be hard to. There's a person. No, I'm not a little better. I'll tell you what being better. If you didn't get to, if you did get something, I think it's better. Yeah. If he added a little to that camera. Yeah. Yeah. Been on watching watching like buzzing back and that would have been in bassoon. What about you, Todd? You got a story. Well, it can be. I don't know. No, no, no. I open in the woods. Whatever you want to talk about. Hunt. And it, it, it, it. There's a significant backstory. But this past season, I don't have any kids among. Right.

And when my stepkids came into my life, they were at a really awkward 11 and 13 years old. Right. And they had a great daddy. Didn't have a whole lot of interest in me. But now that they're older, you know, they, you know, say things a little different. Yeah. But my, my stepson's come back into our, our life at 26 years old after, I don't know, about, I think it's been at least 10, maybe 13 years. Right. For whatever reason. And I, you know, I got a thing about it. I was like, I never, you know, he's not a kid, but I, I never had that bit that, you know, a son or anything like that to go hunting with. And so I was in the little club and I, by the way, I found the deer since then, but I was in a little least and I hadn't seen it here in two years. And we, we went down there and I said, I can't promise you anything brother.

But I, you know, let's go hunting. Hey, so do I agree? And we double by 915 that morning and that meant, his not his first deer, about four from on. And, but just to fight that it happened, I got to make a commission. My hand, yeah. It was amazing. And that, that was very special to me. Right. Now, I'm the funny side of things. If you want to hear one about Doe Days at Oak, maybe. Let's go with it. I went down there. I went down there and did, you know, one of these bucket lists. I'm on, I got my mountain bike cam out out. So I'm kind of a little funky, with a hitch made, pull my trailer behind it. I'm, this is when I'm a little bit younger and a lot younger. But I thought, I'm on the one of these public lamb bucket out, carded.

I'm here to tell you it don't work as much. How you might imagine it. Especially when you wind up two miles or so back with a butter knife. I brought everything in the world with me, besides an off that would cut. And even though I had all that card, you know she ran into the biggest crap. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. About him she could. And I was just getting dark and, um, was getting impatient. I'll have y'all know, I, I, I, I, I quartered that deer out of there with hair on it. To get it up to my game card to pull it out with my bike. And the point is like 830 and 8. Nice dark flashlights done running out, you know, and I'm just, luckily I made it to the road to the cart and bike. Right. I couldn't ride a bike after doing that to save my life. I had to push the whole rig back. All right. Yes, make sure you got plenty of lights and, you know, hell don't shoot or doe that far back.

No, no matter what. This is got a good knife. And you're ready and you're ready to get it out of there. So yeah, that's my, that's my feel good story. I still feel that. That was awful. Yeah. That's a good lesson. Yeah, I don't even know if she was edible. I can't remember after I got done with her. It was awful. Well, my oldest son. Yeah. He loves hunting, always loves hunting since he's little. Yeah. And then my youngest son, he don't care nothing about, he likes fishing. Right. He's made that clear to me several times. I'm sorry. Yeah. You know, he just turned the fish. Yep. But, uh, so, one of Cole's first deer by cell. Um, he's, I don't know, six or seven years old. Yeah. Sitting in the shooting house and, and, and come just a little six point out. I explain, obviously, you know, how dare grow and, you know, let them walk and, you know, thought about it.

I always left it up to him too. You know, the way I look at trophy, if it makes you happy, kill it. Nice. Man, you know, and, and, where man, you might say, I let that six point walk. But no, my other person may be, maybe the best deer they were killed. Nice. And so there's little six point come out. What do you think? I think I'm gonna drop it. I said, okay. Yeah. I get the gun ready after when didn't. I sent him up on my knee so he can see better. And he's shaking the whole shooting house, you know, he's just, yeah. And I'm like, you got a calm day. And he, he's looking at that deer. I said, so putting on me. Oh, no. He said, I get nervous. I do that. Oh, why? She, he's going to have that shirt. Okay. Well, you got a calm down. He dropped the deer. We got it. But, but I was like, what are you? What's happening? He's a man. I get nervous. I do that. Uh, he probably killed me if I tell that story. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to say this. Hey, what? Core memory.

Hey, I'll remember that. I'll bring it up often to him. I'm going to say this. We always get people to give us a memory on here. That's my pop-up hat. We can keep it here forever. And I will say out of the last. Man, almost every time somebody has told us their core memory story. And it's been someone with a kid and someone with a step. Yeah. It's been that story. That's been one of their stories. It just means so much. It's crazy, man. And I like this. I've got, I've got piles of stories with, with, you know, hunting with, there's two, there's two different times for Brad as a, as a hunter. There's Brad when he was younger and my dad and granddad were alive and we, we hunted. And that was a dog hunting time, right? That's stories because there's not, but I was thinking of a day. There's two, three of those guys that used to hunt with us consistently. Only one that really hunted with me all the time is still alive. All those guys are gone. And I'm going to have, I'm going to have him on here one day because I know he'll rag me on some of the things I used to pull because if it was a wife, I would shoot till it wouldn't.

And then you've got the after that, that's the hunting with my kids. And I said, there was a short one there and there when I, you know, you got a couple years where you think you're professional hunter and then you have kids and that drops off. I've never been a professional hunter. You just get where you want to sit and watch a little bit. But your days of shooting stop. It's over, man. It's different. But I'm good with that. You know what I mean? I've been blessed to kill some good deer every now and then. But man, I would love to see these kids pop something like you just talking about Barrett while I go, what would it do for him? He would maybe, he might have slight heart attack as a 12 or 13 year old if he killed one 50 or something. His dad, you know, he killed a huge deer a couple years ago. And I have a heart attack. Four Barrett was sitting in the wrong spot that day, man. And he killed, oh, that was awesome, dear man. I'm glad he got, I'm glad I knew who killed it. Tucker called that day. So I mean, okay, you killed my deer. I said, no, it's not your deer. So I'm at deer belongs to the world. And that's he is. And he was blessed with it. And it was a random day, you know, but that's how it happens. It's fun to hunt.

I loved hunt. And I'm glad that it's so close here for us to get started. But look, before we wrap it up, I want both of y'all to know. I appreciate you all coming. I don't think we're mentioning this one started. I told them I was going to say that me and Shane knew each other for a couple years. Maybe five years now, you think? Somewhere around in there. All right, I've known him now for about an hour and a half. But Shane, I just want everybody to know that me and Shane are, we're basketball coaches at times. We have been. I've retired now. Yeah, make the, I don't know anything about basketball. It really at all. I don't, I play when I was in the seventh grade. And I remember we talked about this, me and my buddy. We went in there to tell our coach that we weren't going to play basketball anymore. And he went first. And I think coach told him good decision. And then I went next and I said, hey, coach, I played probably 15 seconds out of the seventh grade year. You know, and I didn't shoot the ball. I went and I'm shooting basketball. I soaked at it. And I, you know, I guess I soaked a football too. I just kept playing it.

But I went in there and I said, coach, I've been thinking, I think I'm going to quit basketball. And just play football. And he turned around. And I expect it to be mad. But I was just going to take it. But he turned around and looked at me and said, I think you've made a good decision. And I was like, I don't know if I want to be happier. And you know, so I was like, Laura, that's good. So I, you know, I don't know anything about basketball. Shane had to serve for three or a couple years of coaching some Park League stuff for me. And I want to follow the other thing from my ignorance. So I told basketball, but anyway, sometimes you had to coach. I coached, you know, I got kicked out a few times. I got a win the one day where I coached by myself. I got a win. Yeah. I'm, I'm, I'm, yeah, I got to take it. I wasn't blessed with the ability to coach little league. Well, I didn't have the ability to coach what he's had to. Well, the opportunity. Yeah. I did get ejected a couple times. But honestly, I don't think it was ever worthy. It was not me listening to this or go.

Yeah, I don't think it was worthy of it. I've never been thrown out of a little league. I have a great. But the last of being thrown out of things. I've never, I've never been thrown out of a little league game. I was the first person in history of our house could we thrown out of a baseball game. A high school baseball game. And I'll wear that proudly, I guess. I mean, whatever. They don't spank you when you get there. I probably shouldn't have been thrown out. I mean, I really didn't. I just told the guy to split the money with their coach. Because I felt like he was calling the game for that in cuss. Right. That he called calling names or anything. So I went outside and stood to the games over. Then I had to walk in and load my own cooler after that, where the kids had their gauge reading water. It was safe for me to go in after the game. I just couldn't be there during the game. So either way, but look, I'm glad y'all came today. And I appreciate y'all coming. I hope nothing but the best for that right there. I know it's growing. Yeah, it's going to be okay now. I know we get it, but I want to go with it. Man, we got all of that. You were talking about the kids.

Yeah. I didn't start hunting until I was 16 or so. Because my dad was alcoholic, you know, and you drugs. And my stepdad worked all the time. He wasn't really into hunting. You know, so I had nobody to cure me. Yeah. You know, and I wasn't raised to anything. One of my uncles or one of my daddy's cousins. He didn't go on now, but he's one got me started in the hunting. Right. And this is another, this, I got to tell this story. Come on, sorry. You alright? Because this is probably the most memorable. And I actually forgot and I shouldn't have. But Gary Moves, which my daddy's cousin wanted. I mean, from open to clothing. He was going at it. And he's one, you know, started to cure me. Yeah. And so he passed away with a heart attack. You know, a couple years ago. And so his son, Robert, going through some stuff, you know,

life always brings us. And so he said, I think I'm going to go to Illinois this year. And I said, man, that'd be fine. You know, we got plenty of public land. You can hunt down there. And so he goes and he don't have a crossbow. So he takes his daddy's crossbow. And the only arrow we have is his daddy's arrow. And we go up there hunting. And I'm hunting private land. He's hunting some of the public land. One evening, he said, I knew he was going through rough. He said, you mind if I go home with you today on that private land? I said, no, man. Yeah, that's fine. Come on. And I've had, I had a pretty good deer on camera. And I said, look, we're almost set. Actually, you need to go over the hill because if that lighter stand, the way the wind's going to be hitting me, you going over the hill and said, by the pond, you have so many ground. But he's okay. He goes over the hill.

We wouldn't have to stand 10 minutes. He calls me just flipping out. Yeah. He just killed the biggest deer in his life. And I'm like, man, that's awesome. Send me a picture because I only been getting a picture of this one big deer. Yeah. And if it's here, we're leaving. That's all the way to the world. I'm going somewhere else. Yeah. And he sent me pictures there and I had a picture of this deer. It was a stud. It's a prize there. And he called me back and he was just squalling. Yeah. He said, Shane, he said, and I get chills talking about it. He said, I didn't realize I bought some more arrows and bought wood. But I just killed that deer with my daddy's arrow. Yeah. That's awesome. And he killed me when I was there. Yeah. And he's squalling, called his mom and, you know, and this is a grown man. Yeah. I said, you know, 40 something years ago. And it do something to you. There's no doubt. But it's that it made it memorable to me because his daddy's going to get me started, huh?

Yeah. You know, and I turned it around. Yeah. I'm right there with you, man. But he's actually getting that deer mounted with the arrow. I saw. But he, he, he, so many times, thank me and cried it. And I'm like, no, hey, man, I'm, I made your day, made your week a year, then. I'm sorry. I killed that deer. You know, I know someone you're, I said, it couldn't know how it happened. Anybody in my opinion. No, no, no. You know, that's what that needed. That helps you. And you shot that with your daddy's arrow. And your daddy's crossbutt. It's 10 times better than me. They got it done and it made a difference. I mean, he could have sat there, had he sat there and you killed a deer. What did they do for him? But man, he got some memories out of that. He did. And that's awesome. And, and how life had had him down. Yeah. It could have given you a bump. Yeah. Go on this one. It knocked you down. Yeah. It knocked you down hard. But it is what it is and time comes and goes. And getting to get to getting to go with somebody and they should say you'd like that.

That's just as good as me getting something. There's no doubt. I, I, that was probably a time of my life. It wouldn't been as fun. But it is now, you know. And you, you get that from folks. It happens. They have. And you get that from growing older. Yeah. Seeing, you know, life and, you know, sometimes you need a blessing. One of that. We sit down here. I'm going to say this and then I'm going to shut up myself. We sit down here a couple weeks ago to dove hunt. Well, one of my buddies that I've known probably 20 years. He brought his kid. And I'm glad they did because I'd ask him to come. Man, I want him to come hunt with us because I know his boy. His, his boy loves the woods. But his, about as well equal as Tucker. And if that's the case, anytime you can go hunting somewhere, they're going to eat it up. And that dude, me and him sat together and we shot some. But we got to life and talking about land. I ain't even going out. Why I am. I don't even care for shoot watching everybody shoot his kid. I don't have any times to shot. I don't have any birds of kill. Man, but he had a ball. I think and I'm glad. You know, and I hope, hopefully come back next year. You know, and I hope you remember that, you know, like, because we were in a big, great dove, hundred anything.

But he, he was shooting more than I ever expect you to. And I think he had a ball. And I hope they come back next year. They had never, they had never ate, you know, we claimed them. They sent him home or we sent it some home with him. I hope they like it, you know, and they'll come back and do it again. You know what? Maybe, maybe 20 years from now, boy, have a feeling you ask me. You can move there, you know. It's hard to come. It's all about boundaries. Yeah, no doubt. He had a ball. And I remember, me and my buddy just sitting there laughing. And we just look, we just half time we jump up and shoot it one. But most time we're sitting there watching them. And I told him, I said, I just seem to be right here, dude. You laughing, cutting it. Yep. It was fun. Having a good time. It was fun. Well, look, I appreciate it, guys. I hope, like I just said, this is gonna, it's gonna go. It's gonna do it. It's gonna do it. It's gonna be a sponsor. You want to be a sponsor? Yeah. Well, we can, we can keep pushing the product. It's gonna be right there. We'll use it. Everything that we've talked about on here, it's gonna be something we use, man. I mean, everyone of these guys I just talked about. I'm nothing special and I'm nobody and we're nobody. And we know that we started this as nothing.

I think maybe people are interested in it. But any of these people we talk about here is somebody I trust. I know Shane. We got to know these other guys before they come on here. And man, that's just what it is. There's gonna be times when it's somebody that we don't know personally, but they've got a history of doing something great, you know. And that's what we're gonna, we like to learn about. We like to learn about it. They've got a connection with somebody that's doing something great, or they've done something great. So we hope we keep getting some good out of it. And I still, I get blown away after these things come out, where people send messages about they liked hearing this or that, you know. And that's pretty neat. So if anybody's got anything else they want to hear about, shoot us a message and let us know. And we'll do our best. Like Shane said, if they tell us know today, we'll try again tomorrow. All right. I mean, we'll try it again. And that's how it's known. We'll try again tomorrow. All right. I mean, we'll try it again. And that's how it's known. Don't get tired of it eventually. I think maybe some of them come on here to be all right. It's like I told you earlier. Here, you're more down to earth, talking people's language. Well, that's cause I don't know anything.

So every time somebody's on here, they're teaching me. So I said, every time somebody's on here, they know more than me. I know they do. So I, you know, just bring it and teach us something about what they got. Well, it's very, it's very, I guess you'd say flattering. You know, to be considered, I don't even want to say any of the adjectives. You know, anything you might be considered in your trade, you know, it sales you. I'm a little more humble than I call myself that is how it was because they's been a tremendous amount of trial and error. Oh, this didn't come about overnight. And I kind of joke and we can end on this. I kind of joke because people ask me all the time. They say, well, what's your trick? And I'll just tell them I don't ever do the same thing twice. Keep the dear guests. All right, guys, we'll look, we'll never do the same thing twice. We may have the same person on here twice eventually, but we'll talk about something different.

We appreciate you. Thank you all. Thank you all. We'll talk to you guys next week as we grow closer to dear season. Thank you all and have a good one. Much love.
