I've been traveling, working, even hiking more and things to team mobile, I'm connected for all of it. Really? I need details. I mean, with America's best network, I can pretty much go anywhere. Even when I'm off grid, I'm still connected by satellite. That's cool. Plus, I get unlimited texting and data brought, so I'm all set from my trip to Greece. I don't even need to do anything. It'll just work when I get there.

That's it. I gotta get team mobile. I don't even get reception in my apartment. This is why I'm mom's favorite. So many reasons to join Team Mobile. All right, so the scenario today is very similar to yesterday with one exception. Today they actually can make the playoffs at 10 p.m. Because the Diamondbacks play in the three clock hour today. Philly's played 605. When I say 10, I mean, maybe nine, whatever. Yeah. Philly's played six. Podges play at 10. So if the Diamondbacks win and then the Philly's win, then if the Podges were to lose, Philly's make the playoffs around 1230 or one. That's how it could have been yesterday and mattingly went on the record before the game yesterday

to say what they would have done yesterday if that scenario played out. Let's listen. If you guys win tonight, when you win around the scene happens on the coast and you're all against the rest. Rest. No, I think I've heard a little bit of both ways. I think we'll stay though. But obviously the number one thing is to take care of our own business. Obviously a lot of teams don't get to do this. You know, we've so many big to play off. So I'm important isn't to you to maybe see the guys celebrate it and let that time pass. Yeah, I think you should. Honestly, you play a long season. It's no guarantee of getting in. If we're fortunate enough to get in, we should celebrate. Because we've gotten ourselves to it, given ourself an opportunity. You just can't take for granted 160 something games and that you fight for that and then you don't celebrate. To me, it doesn't make sense. Not discounting that you have to win for that to be a possibility tonight. But do you ever remember an instance that you know of where a team waited around until possibly beyond one o'clock in the morning to...

I do not. Now let's put this disclaimer out there. I'm sorry. Jason, I'm curious your thoughts, but let's just put this disclaimer out there. Because there's one thing we do not know and there's a big difference. Beginning drinking at 1 a.m. or not drinking at 1 a.m. Two totally different worlds. World one is your party starting at one. World two is your together. Hey, out of boy, out of boy, out of boy, out of boy. You do that after watching the West Coast game on TV. You hang together for half an hour an hour. You're not drinking late night. You get out of there at 2 a.m. you go home, you get your sleep. Yeah, what time are they playing the next day? That's nice. I'm not getting a score back. What do we talk about? Well, but here's Jason, here's the problem. Here's what we're talking about. We're talking about drinking and getting all liquid out of this. We're talking about this team every time they want to make the playoffs or extend the playoffs around by round. Yeah, they have partied. Yeah, they have partied. Like not hung. I'm talking to a guy who party. I know.

So I was partying Thursday, even when we weren't making the playoffs. So Jason, the idea of if it is a party and we don't know it's a party. Yeah. But if it's a party that begins at 1 a.m. Yeah. Inbounds are out of bounds. I just, the thing I don't like about it is like the pre-planness of it. Like I think that I have no issue if they win the game. And it's like, hey, you want to stick around, watch the game and see what happens. And then all of a sudden they win. I agree. And then you're like, oh, yeah, it's hard to make the playoffs. I agree with that. It feels a little bit like they're almost... Prisoner. Land in the party before they've earned the party. Like that's what feels a little... But to be fair, it's the only scenario you have to imply. I mean, it's just the only thing. I mean, the other two games that could have gotten them in were both West Coast games. Yeah. So you either leave at 10.30 after you shower or you stay till 1 a.m. to watch the game together. I mean, that's one of the other. I guess I think that a lot of it is honestly just the way it's verbalized and the way the questions are answered.

Instead of saying like, yeah, we should part like, listen, we're focused on winning this game. Got it. See what the party happened. You damn right, you should part if you make the playoffs. And especially you got a night game, the next game. Have a couple beers. You're playing baseball. You're never on the marathon. Like when we... I didn't know that. I mean, Ruth, to be smoking cigarettes and to hit an overlazzy out the play. You have to be a meaner. You have to be a bad singer. I think it's in me in my opinion. Yeah. If I'm a player or coach or anything, I'm not talking about the party. Yeah, we'll be really happy when we make the playoffs. We're focused on the game tonight. We're focused on what we can draw. And, and Maddie Lee tried to get it back to that. And the reporters did a great job of continuing to push this narrative. But that, that was the only thing. You should, you should enjoy being with your teammates. You put all this work in. You should have fun and enjoy those, you know, the fruits of all of the work and labor you put in. Now, you shouldn't talk about it. You just talk about the game, focus on that.

That should be the focus. After you win, then hey, let's watch this game tonight. Let's see if we're, if we're in the playoffs. Let, let that happen. That's gonna happen. It should happen. All right, fascinated to see how you react to all this 215 592 94 94. It's 94 WIP HD one filled off as we broadcast from the Tasty Cake studio. By the way, Flyers tickets, we give them away today from 820 to 840. So be tuned for that 820 to 840 today. Ben, do you know, because I, I don't know if the Phillies had had that type of celebration at 1am last night, was NBC, NBC sports, Philly going to have coverage last night. They were. Doreen, like the 1am to 2am thing. Correct. Yeah. Interesting. Yeah, we're gonna have to stay. Michael, I wasn't, I wasn't working last night. Okay. No, uh, Michael Rubin and Ricky were in studio last night. Yeah. So they said they were gonna open shop back up. James, I'm expecting you to be here tonight from 1am. Have real well. Just. A little bit easier than that. A little bit easier than that. Let's get to Joe. We were talking to Joe and Mayfair when this conversation erupted.

All right, Joe. So should they stay together? Oh my. Should they drink or not? Yeah. No, I think they should just get their selfie Instagram phones and take some selfie like teenage girl. And they're absolutely making the wild card backing in how great it is. Oh, all right. Joe, you just made a job in the week. Oh my gosh. Let's get our little Caesar's $5 pizzas and have a pizza party while we're at it. I mean, come on. What are we celebrating here? Sure. What are we celebrating? It's like a part of the patient trophy in sports. They're going to get a wild card trophy now. They're going to put in a locker rooms like we did in a little week. Come on. Joe, this is the banner, baby. The third wild card. What you, you objected. This is the reason this was the reason for years saying that it made it almost too easy. Too easy. I don't think the fillies have played well enough. Look, they could still win the World Series.

It could still make it deep run. This was my objection to the playoffs being expanded. I think it's made the regular season too easy for high spending teams. It's difficult to not make it. Now, the mats aren't going to make it, but like pretty remarkable. I've told you, I have told you since this started, there's basically every year about eight teams trying to make the playoffs. Yeah. And about six or seven, whatever it is in a league seven, not trying to make it. Not like when I say not trying to make it, they're not putting the money, the resources from a spending, because I would say the raise in the in no court. And it's like those teams are trying to make it, but through smart use of money. My point is of the eight teams to try it, six of the eight make it. Yeah. And like, so, so like, hey, pom, pom's out. We made it. Let's frickin party. Oh, and let's do it at one a.m. when the frickin' brazer, you're going to play in the playoffs. And let's get your ass in gear and start playing better. And you're going to get your ass mowed down by Chris Salem for five days. Well, that is. To me, that's nuts. That is concerning. If you have to be your best, if you have to play your best, this essentially play off baseball

for the next three games to end the season. That's how I view it. Because you are seeding concern for the postseason to avoid the toughest possible opponents. Yeah, that's when it gets dicey. Joe, I need a big answer from your best 90s song is which one? What's good to be the Philadelphia Phillies theme song at the end of the playoffs? It's definitely an or salmon. Say your prayers. A little one. Don't forget my phone. Day one right there. Day one. Joe psyched about the filth. Well, I mean, you know, no, I don't play. That was one of his best fun songs. Oh, yeah, I think you met me. No, Joe from Mayfair. Yeah, for sure. All right, let's get to Brock. Brock, good morning. Brock, party. Brock, I don't know another Brock. Brock, let's let's. Let's go to Chris. He's calling from Nazareth. Chris, good morning. Good morning, guys. What's up?

I'm called about the parking lot issue. Yeah, what do you make of it? I, uh, I feel. What we are saying to an extent, okay? But I also, I mean, I've been down. I'm not going to say it's a lot of fun. I'm not going to say it's a lot of fun. I mean, I've been down there and I've seen. You know, some of these guys have ruined it for the other guys. Yes. That is fun. I'm talking about guys that. Storyline. And you're putting up bones and they're out there throwing the football. Yeah, and they're taking up too much space. I agree, you know, and what happened probably was the wrong person came in and got pissed off. I'm not a wrong person. Somebody and that has authority. Okay. It came in the watching game. Oh, they can't park because these knuckleheads are throwing a football or these people here are having too much space. Could be. That's what happened.

Chris, Mike, I'll give you my guess. My guess is because of so much space soon to be taken up with the construction of the new stadium. They've begun. I would guess it's more that they've begun the process of the solid data space. Yeah, that's that's that's going to look. We know we're losing our tailgate. Yeah. And they do have to get creative too. But here's the thing is what they said they did it with community stakeholders. To me, go you go and talk to the people who you know have been there a long time. Here are the people who pay for all the spots and all that kind of stuff. Like come up with a better solution than sticking all the RVs in one spot. And then the people were coming in with their cars can't be parked next to them. And you know, it's just. Well, let me ask you. It's going to break up. It's going to break up tailgate. Not good. Let me ask you what do you because you acknowledge we all acknowledge there have been problems. What would you say is a reasonable solution to not go as far as they went but to improve flow in and out and to have less people waste space? Well, they have to police that. It is their job.

But is there parking lot that they're charging $200 for RV to spark on a piece of pavement? Okay. And it goes up every year. Not like they've improved the pavement that they're parking on. So to me, you know, work that you have to police that parking lot of people put up cones so they can play football games. You take them away. So here's the problem. I hear you. Here's an issue with that though that I think they're. Their thing is designed to cut through the idea of the cones can be for a big vehicle to have a smaller vehicle than move in there. So people can hang out together and what they're now saying is we're not going to let small cars park near big cars. Yeah, that's yeah. And that's so but my point is I agree with you in theory if the cones become a wasted space but sometimes they become a used space. Oh, yeah. But what they're saying is what if you've paid for those spots? Well, they're paid for. Well, you have to pre-pay for it. Like in the lot we're in, you have to pre-pay for the entire season. So you've paid for your spot.

Well, John, let me ask you this. Do you think forget to big vehicles? Let's say there's a regular car regular car. What like just sit in regular car. Should a regular like a dad. Like a dad. Should a regular car guy or gal be allowed. I'm gonna use these words. Be allowed to put out cones who say no one can park here until my person park. Because every one wants to do that. Of course, everyone would do that. I would definitely do it but you shouldn't be allowed to. So you guys think spots. An easier solution that cuts through it without going as far as they did is just say that's not allowed. Yeah, especially because again, re-makes a good point. Those people are in the spot. The problem is then people are just gonna stand in the parking spot. Like I've seen this. Well, of course. You go to like Whole Foods. You got people standing in spots. I'll make my wife light out in a spot for hours. I don't care. I'm gonna hold up in the spot. Then how do you police that? But again, Joe, what I'm saying to you is a lot of these tailgates where the people at least where I am,

we know everybody next to us. So we know Tom Dick and Harry. That's where they're parking there. Me and my friends are parking here. You know, so this, like I said, those spots are prepaid for. You know, it's gonna be telling you. You know, it's gonna be tailgating in that first game. Sunday, October 4th. Philly's players. After their whole crowd. They should just get rid of the older rules. They should just get rid of... Chris sale kicks the ass. Oh man. They should just get rid of all rules at the tailgates. I see that. They have a thing goes. I want like a escape from New York. I want fires and trash cans. I want like a max sharing of others on the set of the cars. Jason, that's what I want. I can guarantee you when they try to implement this on the day the Ram Singh, it ain't gonna be pretty. You might want fires and trash. Alright, Chris. Chris, how far is Jason going to show up in an iPad? It's like snakeplisskin. Go ahead, John. Chris, how far are you from the Martin Guitar Factory? A couple miles. That's amazing. The greatest guitars in the world. They're made right here in Nazareth, PA.

Yep. Awesome. Chris, give me the best acoustic guitars in the world. No doubt. No doubt. And you know, the thing that's cool about it is if you work there, John. You allow the maker self a guitar. Wow. Very cool. That is kind of good. So, you know, I... I mean, I know people that they don't necessarily play, but they make some incredible... You have a whole factory of all these different parts. Yeah. And you can make a guitar that they're not selling. Yes. I might go... Yeah, it's cool. Apply. Yeah, you get it. Get a part-time job. Alright, Chris, give me a 90's song. What's the best one other than smells like Team Spirit? You can win the Weezer tickets. Ball break or ACDC? You got it, buddy. 215-592-94-94. Coming up, we'll find out what Jason thinks is the best 90's song. Plus, we're giving away a pair of Flyers tickets from 820 to 840 to be tuned. It's going to be a fairly easy Flyers trivia question.

Like, all fans should be able to get it. Plus, Vic Fangio, what he said about the defensive backs more with the overall team with Jason. Ben Davidson here also as we get closer to the playoffs. Like going all, Joe Cameron, John Richey. It's 94WIP. Alright, Phil's coming down the stretch. Eagles Monday night. LeBron Media Day on Monday. Flyers season starts on Wednesday. Buddy just texted me and said, forget giving away Weezer tickets and Flyers tickets today. He said, you guys should be given away 10 parking spaces. He said people would really line up for that. You're absolutely right. Pretty good. Flyers tickets will give away between right now and 840 today. I'm going to ask you trivia question. Be ready for it as soon as I ask it. Contest line is how you can win it first person answer correct. We'll win the tickets. 215-592-9494. So Jason, there's something I haven't figured out about the game coming up on Monday night.

I've got an idea, but it's not all the way there. So it looks like Case Canaan, that guy. Case Canaan from the NSC Championship game. Luckily, it seems to be the starter. So I want the Eagles, my idea, but it's only half of an idea. Some kind of Chris Long, Patrick Robinson representation. Yeah. Side lines or something. Yeah, bring C-Long-Year. What's the way to freak out Case Canaan? For those who don't know the reference, I think you do, but Case Canaan was, of course, the quote of act of the Vikings. Chris Long hit his, I think Elbow ball fluttered up a bit. Patrick Robinson intercepted. It returned it totally changed the game. What should the Eagles do? Chase into merge forces with these guys. Let's bring Chris Long in. Just to get in his head. Walk out with the little bar did you remember this? Hey, keys, your career hasn't gone anywhere in the last 10 years. By the way, while I'm making fun of quarterbacks, and John, I know you're with me on this one. Find out what you all said is say about Caleb Williams. This was... Oh, interesting. He probably was super understanding. You know, Caleb Williams suffered a boo-boo. Let's... Listen, this was great. This is probably the best part of the week so far on WI-F. Yes. Jaws and John and Ruben, three athletes, commiserating and frankly laughing at the Caleb Williams situation out for the next seven years with his injury. Let's listen to Jaws as he presented it the other day. Because have you ever seen any player roll around on the ground and get carted off for a grade one hamstring string before?

He was crying, he had the towel over his face. He was gesturing to the crowd, but not yet. It's okay, I'm still alive. It's a grade one hamstring string. He got carted for. What is wrong with this guy? That is very strange. Take it up. Jaws, who is the old school guy that would be most disgusted by that? Is it Ronnie London? Ronnie London, thank you. Yeah, he got a job. I had a run up to 117, start during my career. That was the NFL record for games that were started at the time. I've always believed the quarterback is in his about availability. You must be on the field. You got to play with pain, you got to play with him. It's part of the nature of the business. If your quarterback is your leader in toughness, you're going to have a tough football team.

Which we have. Not a good player. Caleb Williams, who have a sore hamstring and crying in carted off field. It does make me think less than Caleb Williams. There's a great young quarterback. There's no doubt. But yeah, I will say I think a lot of the players reaction in those moments comes down to the medical staff that's on the field. And a little bit of defensive Caleb. I've pulled a hamstring before. You pull that thing bad enough. You don't know the severity of it. It hurts. And if somebody's telling you it could be like a grade three off the bone. A grade three hamstring is a big deal. Like you're done for the season. You're happy. You have a hole in your back your leg. I've seen guys careers ruined over grade three hamstrings. You think it could be more about fear than pain? A thousand percent. I think you pulled it. Can I still make fun of them anyway? Of course. I get people making fun.

I do think those sometimes. Like we had Darren Sproels one time. We thought on the field was an ACL tear. And the whole team was like about ready to have a full on brawl with the other team. It was kind of a borderline cheap shot play in which he got banged up on. And it was just huge deal on the sideline. Everybody's destroyed. And we found it afterwards. It was like a grade one. We're like, oh gosh. We kind of overreacted to that a bit. Caleb has ever had a hamstring strain before. Is it possible this guy got to this point with never pulling a muscle in his life? I doubt that. So having known what it feels like to pull a hamstring, it just, it doesn't compute for me. Yeah. It doesn't the only way it honestly makes sense to me. And this is why I think it's probably, you probably got news on the field that it could be like a pretty severe injury. And that mentally destroyed him. I don't think I highly doubt it was the pain that was causing.

I had the opposite occur when I tore my ACL, PCL, ACL. I was out there on the field. I was trying to crawl off. Yeah. They held me down. No, do not move. Yeah. And they came out and they did that thing where they test it. And apparently all the swelling, the immediate swelling was holding everything in place. They said, wow, I can actually look on this. I think you're good. Yeah. I got up and I started jogging to the sideline. Then I started high knee in. Then I started sprinting. Oh, my God. Back to the, I got back to the bench and I turned around and went to the down and it just went clunk. Yeah. And it was like the bottom half of my leg fell off the top half of my leg. Yeah. And I knew that it was a lot more. I had a what they said. That's a badass story, by the way. That's crazy. You told you ACL, PCL and LCO and you've ran off the field on one place. High need. One play. Oh, my goodness. Jason, there's a reason he's still see 48th. Yeah. No, I'm serious.

Like, that's why I think there's some athlete who handled like or more dramatic like Bryce Harper. I feel like every time he gets knocked, remember that first base play with Matt Olson where he got hit in the elbow. And we were like, well, it's over. He's twisting and he was back the next day. I feel like every time Bryce bangs something, he's like, oh, no, this is it. And he reacts that way where I think certain players are a lot more like John Richie. Yeah. A lot more stoic about it. I agree. We hid. I believed I always was taught. You never let anyone see you. Your opponents, you compromised in any way. Right. So you don't even you don't even bend down and like take a breather with your hands on your knees. Well, that was also we were taught to like play through anything that you could play through. You played through. Of course. Unless somebody sat you down. Yes. It was like a sign of weakness in a way to like tap out. It's completely changed. I pan. And I don't know in some ways good, but it feels a little bit. And I've been a part of both of those. That is amazing.

Your career did span the transition. Yeah. It was. It never let them see you compromised. The difference between a good player and a great player is a great player can play with injury. Right. A great player. His game doesn't suffer when he's injured. You play anyway and you play great. That means you're a great player. Well, I got through that ankle, you know, and that's all for the dance. You're like eight months later. That's right. That's a great example. I'm just telling you a perfect example. It all comes back to that. You're a warrior, Joe. Absolutely warrior. That's good. Let's talk again. Flyers tickets were given away coming up. Surely James. What do you got in there? One thing just to put a little clarification on on potentially some of this celebration stuff. Uram who was there last night did see the the wrap that they put out. It wasn't put down yet, but like four celebrations. It was up to be pulled down if that. So I do I do think they would be celebrating for real if they were celebrating. Or at least that's the guess. I will put this disclaimer out there. It's theoretically possible to pop champagne without drinking it.

Sure. Absolutely. We're right. But they would have probably got it on that one. Can I just explain what that looks? I'm not an alcoholic champagne. What is that? Yeah. That makes you a war criminal. If you pop open champagne. I want you on this right? All right. Oh man. Right. Let's go to the phone. Flyers tickets soon. Sometime between now and eight four. You were given away. Flyers tickets. I'll give you the cue to call the contest line and be ready soon. Let's get to Gino Northeast Philly hot. Gino. Good morning, guys. How you doing this morning? Doing well, Gino. Great to talk to you too, Gino. I got to say, guys, this whole celebration thing really, really aggravates me. Like, what are you celebrating? Like, I saw the Yankees do it when they made the wildcard. Like, what the hell are the Yankees celebrating making a wildcard when they have three times the pay roll of the can't obey raise and they kicked your rear end this year? Like, where are you celebrating? I don't understand. Like, no, I don't, I don't get it.

I just don't understand it. Like, maybe it's me. I know it's a baseball thing. I know they do it. But. Well, why are you celebrating? I helped me remember this guy's. I think the flyers celebrated upon making the playoffs, which was their first and a long time. Isn't a long time. Am I right or wrong when they made it in April? I'm not going to be able to do it. I'm not going to be able to do it. I'm not going to be able to do it. I'm not going to be able to do it. I'm not going to be able to do it. I'm not going to be able to do it. No, I don't think it's going to be possible to do it. I'm not going to be able to do it. I'm not going to be able to do it. I just want to get it right. Is it real? Is it real? Is it real? Yes. In that case they missed the first one. It was easier to get it right. I don't think they made it in April. Was that a party? Radio? Radio, do you remember? Yes. Radio. Was that a party when the flyers made it? I don't remember. I don't remember. You talk about the team? Yeah. When the flyers made the playoffs. Did they party? of the party. That's what it is. Yeah. It feels so weird that it's been made into like some

big celebration publicly. Yeah. I don't think it's weird to be happy that you made the playoffs. I don't think it's weird to then go out and have some drinks with some guys you spend a lot of time with and there's a camaraderie in that. It feels a little odd that there's like fines and all this other things being done for something that in a lot of ways was expected of this thing. Joe, you were on vacation. You were on vacation. I called one day and Jimmy probably remembers us and I said, I hate this game about the Phillies, right? And the thing is, of course obviously, I love all the Phillies teams. So I don't hate them, but there's just something about this game this year and I know part of it is just the plan of the bill, but it's just everything they do hurt me. You know what I mean? I mean, you know what's it? And you know, you know, you know, it's a, you know, it's a shame about that statement. I love Wheeler, Sanchez and Lazardo. I love those guys. I freaking love those guys. And a lot of times teams aren't wired

with the leadership coming from the starting picture because they only pitch every fifth day. Now I read Tori's book and Tori talked extensively about David Cohn was the leader of the 96 Yankees, but that's fairly unusual when a guy only gets the ball every fifth day. And so that's where we often come back to and this is your frustration, Gino, the Schwarvers, the Harper's, the JT. And I love, I love JT. Love Schwarvers. But like the, the, the Turner's something has felt off with 100% something in there. And, you know, all right, Gino, give me a big minute. The kind of my Eagles, but I just make my Eagles. So the thing that, the thing that concerns me, obviously the most Joe is the O line. And it's not that I don't, you know, I, I love the guys on the O line. Like the reason we've won, we've been such a successful franchise. A main reason is the O line. My biggest concern is have injuries and age just caught up with

some of these guys. That's, that's, that's what worries me more than like, you know, that, it worries me more than anything when it comes to the offensive live and that's my biggest concern. Gino, give me a great song from the 90s. Other than smells like teen spirit. What's the next best? Okay. So I'm going to go with one of them without a doubt the greatest hip-hop songs of all time. And I'm going to go with nothing but a G thing, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Good answer. Very good answer. All right. Speaking of answers, you can answer a Flyers trivia question for Flyers tickets to the home opener coming up in just a minute. Primo off the bench is outside. Primo moves deep with its stops. The shot! He got it! He got it! Pete Primo is able to put it in and it fires with the chest of wolves and this baby goes back to fully even the two games of me. All right, so for the flyers and penguin tickets, I need to know what team did the flyers beat when Keith Primo scored that goal 445-5445. Come on. 83 hundred. I'll tell you what, I know where somebody was when that was happened. Where were you, Rick? I won't know. No, no, I won't. I'll wait until the person answers it. Okay. I'll tell you where I was. So I was in such party mode, my senior year of college, that I either had a tester at paper the next day. I forget which, which, but I felt it was impossible for me to prepare at Fairfield in Connecticut because we were all just partying so much.

And I said the only way I could possibly do this is I got to come home to fill it off you, to whether it was study for the test to write the paper. So I drive down and the entire night that I'm supposed to work to actually put one night. I'm just, I'm watching an eight-period hockey game. And did I get the paper or prepare for the test on? I did not. And I had to drive right back to Connecticut the next day with squat towel worked on. Jonesy managed to not make it onto the statute in a thousand periods of hockey. That's my biggest takeaway from that game. It's like how do you, how does that happen? An eight-period hockey game. Yes. And Jonesy didn't have a shot. I hit it. I believe he was eating pizza in the locker room when they wanted it. It's incredible. All right, anyway, I'm obviously tired, huh? All right, obviously we know the flyers beat the penguins. James will tell us, you know, James, do we have a way to do that? Congratulations to Ryan. Ryan. I did have like four people

call in and be like, no, what's the question? It's like, well, sorry for you, Bell. All right. So there you go. Ryan, congratulations. Flyers beat the penguins. And hopefully they do so again Wednesday. And next week, hopefully the Eagles defensive backs play better. And by the, the backs, I mean the safeties. Fangeo was asked about a very convoluted defensive backfield situation. We know Cooper, DeGines got versatility. We know Michael Carter can play slotty, can play safety. We also know not going so well so far. It looks like with the somewhat aging and John, I love them, but somewhat aging Marcus Epps. So the Eagles brought in this, this new dude earlier this week. His name is Kenny Moore. He's had a really good career. But he's old. So let me give you a couple questions and answers as presented to Vic Fangeo yesterday about the possibilities with the defensive backs. It starts with the new guy Kenny Moore. Let's listen. Kenny Moore, why is he here? How much do you know about his game? I don't know a whole lot about it to be honest with you. And I don't know if that's finalized yet.

Haven't heard from how he won way or the other. You envision him like more as a safety or he's played nickel most of his career. How would you? Not sure yet. I've never laid eyes on him. Never watched him play. So would you consider moving the gene full time safety? No. How do you think Marcus and Drew did in Tennessee? Marcus Epps. Yeah. I thought Drew played an okay game to good. Marcus had some plays that he would like to have back both against the pass and the run. So and he'll bounce back. So say a little more Michael Carter. Yeah, there's a chance of that. With Carter, if he does play more, it would have be his safety. Is that part of the as possible too? So there you go. Fan geo yesterday. So, tell what's your biggest takeaway from that other than initially he's trying to deflect his a haven't announced the signing. I think it's amazing that he says he's never seen the other play. I mean, he's the best. You're veteran. But Jason, we take him. It is the best press.

So is that one? Yeah. So it's amazing. Is it like what's going on there? Like, I mean, of course, he's seen the guy play, right? I think it's been a link for 10 years. I think it's just typical. Okay. Cramudge in, you know, Victor. Exactly. I'm not going to give you guys anything. I haven't planned for this and I'm just not going to. That's probably what I will say. It is complicated again by because this goes to the heart of the first answer. They haven't announced they've signed them. So he may have gone into that with instructions from the media relations department. Hey, because we haven't announced, you really can't go there. Yeah. And so he may have just been trying to like completely steer clear of that player. Yeah. There's also there's also a difference of like, you know, watching a guy on tapes, seeing him playing games and like knowing him the way VIX is talking about knowing him and like, what his skill sets are in terms of his stuff. Knowing him like if you had something to do with his acquisition. Well, yes. Correct. Oh, man. All right. Let's go to the phones. 215-59294-95.

You said apps is old. Well, he's not sorry. He said Ken more. So he said Kenny more. Well, Kenny more. And I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. Five months. That's 30. I didn't know. And he's going to be 30. I didn't know either. I thought I'd have been like upper 20s. I didn't. 30. He's farting dust. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, my God. These guys are so old. It's up. I'm turning 45 tomorrow. As we got Jason Kelsey retired guy in front of us here. But still working. Still putting it in the time. Jason, you yourself are still young. It's true. I think so. Jason, you know what I've been doing if I had your money? Was that nothing? Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. I think you get bored pretty quick. Let's go to the phones. Got four daughters. It's a pay for. 215. I know that. You might not make enough money as it is. James, I've told you to have a pile of cash. And I would just sit on it. Yeah, you're like scrooge McDowell. Yeah. I'd get to Jordan in Princeton. Good morning, Jordan.

Oh, good morning, everyone. Jason, when you have enough money to put those wonderful girls through college, do us all a favor. Run for mayor of Philadelphia. I would love to cast a vote for mayor, Kelsey. There's enough people that hate me already. There's one thing I learned in 43 years. There can always be more people that hate you, Jay. Don't ever worry about that. I got to shout out very quickly. My childhood rabbi, who I found out hears me on WIP, rabbi, Pearl Stein. Thanks for saying that to my parents at I holiday services. That's a donor, boy. I'm a sports fan. Whoever thinks about your rabbi, listen to the WIP. So rabbi, Elliott, love you, man. Thank you so much. I love that. That's awesome. I also, by the way, I got a great one hamstring taking the trash out this morning. My wife came down the driveway to pick me up like, come on, Caleb Williams. Pick it up there, brother. And I want to talk about this tailgating thing because I am a guy who loves live events, sports, concerts. I got ACDC

next week. Thanks to you guys and two other concerts later in the week. I see 20 Phillies games a year. Eagles home games are a pain in the neck because of the traffic. And anyone who tells you differently is just lying. We love the Eagles. We love seeing the football team at home. Two hours to get out of the parking lot. Is it my age enough to make me not want to go to regular season Eagles home games and I hate that feeling. So I think that this was a long time coming. But how badly can you watch something, Eagles organization? That's not to be one home game. Whoever is the whole Clark community, yeah, PTA. It just could not have been handled any worse. No, why? I'm curious why? Because you have to do this thing well planned. You can't in the middle of a season break traditions. People have already established what they're doing for the year. This has to be meticulously planned. You have to reach out to the people who love the parking passes. You have to arrange this. You have to structure. And the reason that this is

never going to work on Sunday is because they have parking attendants who work their three days a week. These are part time people. They're not professionals. They don't know that in the outs and the flow. And you can try and get them trained up again. But I just think they're doing a real disservice to the fans in the short term in the long term. I think this is the kind of thing that has to happen. There was something about the world's cup where I heard I didn't experience it, but traffic apparently flowed phenomenally well, leaving all these sold out games at the link. Every world cup naturally clearly can figure it out. But don't do this to your fan base guys. Let the people have their year figured out in the off season plan better next year. Everybody will be happier for it. Well, it's interesting. Jordan, we were talking in a commercial break and we seem to have a consensus around here that the heart of the problem. And let me be very clear. I am not an expert. I don't know the frickin ins and outs, but my sense and John agrees with this is that the main problem isn't related to these big vehicles. It's related to how many people

waste space by holding spaces with cones, many of which never get used. Intense. Intense. Yeah. So that has to be police better. And that is not in this directive of new things. Yeah, it's just it's just it's not you think that's the main issue. I think it's in it. That's it. I do know. Yeah. Space is wasted. Is the main issue. I don't know how they work in the other lots like the link lots and the jet tro lots. I mean, I know when when last the lot we're in is prepaid, which is which lot. It's the eight H lot. It's a lot that we know in front of Wells Fargo. Right. That's where I typically go. Yeah. So those those those are all prepaid before the season. So those you know, they're not they're you're taking your spot. But there are a lot of people that I know I walk call it up. Well, yeah, I walk through, but I just I know I'm believing all the lots around the Wells Fargo that those are paid for. All right, Jordan, give me the best song of the 90s. Which one is it? I just want to say it's not South Philly. You

can't hold your parking space down with a lawn chair. I'm going to buy that. You clear it out. It's a parking lot. I'm going to mind it. You're definitely game. We do it. All right, Jordan, best song. Which one? I I I well up when I hear this song with emotion, bitter sweet symphony by the bird. The great song. It is. That was the very end of what movie? A cruel intention. Correct. Well done. Wow. And it's an interesting song for that movie. And the best scene in movie history is in what movie, James? Wild things. Wild things better than what better wild. I already you're on the right. I knew what was on the right. And dirty dog Lane Jason Kelsey knows also, but he might not know this. But he knows where he knows the type of thing I'm at it toward. I thought you're going to like I was my shot. Yeah, I knew you're going to go there. Who? Oh, no one knows about cruel intentions too, but who are the actors and actors? The swirl twins. Who? The swirl. So no Reese Witherspoon in the. Didn't need Reese when you had the swirl twins. No, Sarah.

Galler. I didn't need other. What are the films have they done? Maybe other types of films. I don't know. It's all different. Different genre. What is this? What is this? What is this? Have you do it yourself? Best clearly have never seen Beverly Hills and Inja. No, no. Chris Barley. Wonderful. I want to talk about cinema. Jason best song in the 90s. Which one? Man, I think I've been thinking about this. So like hit me, baby, one more time by. Oh, yeah. Look at that. What it's like ever last. Hook the blues travel. Great answer. That's probably the one that I think of most of the 90s. There's another one that I would look up that I thought was the 90s because it was a Jack Jam staple and they played it at every arena. Like, but apparently it's 89. Is pump it up. Pump up the jam. Pump it. That's what I think of when I think of the 90s. We haven't fun in Jack Jam's in a long time.

I have like, one all the way through like, uh, like 12 or something like that. Like they just kept pumping them things out. That's great, man. Really is. Let's get to Gary and violin. Hi, Gary. What's going on? I can't tell you where it was when it when it overtime goal happened. Please. I was I was bartending count tips and I'll never forget I had a wide full of money and I just threw it in the air and my other bartenders are working with like, what just happened? They were watching the game. So weren't you guys closed? Because I think I think it was 2.35 a.m. 30 in the morning. Yeah. So would you guys have been closed at that time? You count your tips after after the night. Absolutely. Yeah. Sure. I have a room to be. Yeah. Count money in front of people. It doesn't work. What is going on Ben with Harper swinging at the first pitch? Are you kidding me? A lot of them. I got to understand. In August, he was so great and then all of a sudden it's like, let's go back to the way we were. Did you hear the stat that France he had?

So during his 35 base on on base streak, he swung at it 39% of the time. First pitch? Yes. First pitch. Since then, 60%. Wow. I think it went up last night. I think it's 62%. He's Uber aggressive right now. I don't know. He's at 28 home runs. I don't know if he's wanting to get to 30. I think that might have something to do with it. Oh, get all about that. That's awesome. I want to get to 30. I'm just saying that maybe that maybe that factors into it. I don't know, but he is Uber aggressive right now. Yeah. He is. So it's actually I think the 35 game on base streak would have, you know, maybe I'll keep doing this. Well, he was so grooved in, James. I think he's still leading baseball and walks, isn't he? I don't know. I believe he is. I don't know. He's still leading all of it. He's going to finish below the 400 on base. He was getting real close to the 400 500 and it's not going to happen now. All right. I walked with a help last night. Yep. Gary, give me a great song from the 90s. I think about the park and I say one thing about the park and re is 100% right before

they had all the gates open and it was kind of cumbersome, but we got there. Now they're shutting gates and they're controlling traffic and it's 100 times worse. It is. They're the gate. The gate is huge. Open the gate is a huge problem. Open the gate. Wait, wait until the other stadium goes up and that's going to be a mess. We're aware. All right, Gary. You're with an Alvarez now leads baseball with 107 walks, Bryce Harper's second with 106. Go. Alvarez is great. Gary. You said triple crown? Yeah. We barely talk about it. We do. Gary 90 song. Which one? I can't believe this one hasn't been said yet. I don't think it was said yet, but this was the other one that started the grunge thing with Stolett King spirit. Pearl Jam Jeremy. Yeah, you got it, man. Great. All right, let's get to the Twitter poll question. The day is brought to us by Armin Chevrolet of available now. Armin has offered zero percent financing for 60 months on all new late duties. Silverado's visit armin Chevy.com. The poll question. If the fills do not find out they've clinched a playoff spot until around one o'clock tonight,

which is a possibility. That scenario is if the diamond backs win today, they play at 310. If the fillies win, they play at 6. And then if the pyjories lose and they play at 10. So that means a game that ends around 1231. If that scenario happens, the fillies find out around 1231 that they've made the playoff. Should they stay awake to celebrate together at Citizens Bank Park? Yes or no? We'll give you the results of that coming up in the 9 o'clock hour. Jason, let's get you out on this one. Eagles against the Bears. It's obviously going to be a non-calib Williams game. Yeah, it's probably going to be a non-calib Williams game. I mean, well, I told you the other day, man. A grade one hamstring guys can play. Well, his coach said yesterday he's not committing to anyone. Well, I mean, they're saying he's weak to weak. He's not committing to any of the three quarterbacks, all who seem to be somewhat injured or old. If I can borrow from Drago, if he plays, he plays. But I don't think he will. If he does, he must be limited. Yeah. So Jason, if it is Case Canum,

yeah, give us a scatter in the board on the Bears without Calib Williams. Put another way. How good is the other the other players to be standing in a great quarterback? Listen, Calib is an incredible player, but this bears offense without whoever's at quarterback is going to be really, really good. Ben Johnson's an incredible skimmer. The run game is always dominant with these guys. They have two great backs and Manungai and our own Mr. Swift. I was happy I had him getting a 30 million dollar deal. Yeah, dude. Yeah, the prepping deed, my man. That's right. So they have a very formidable rushing attack. We know that firsthand from last year when we played these guys. Obviously, whenever a stunning quarterback's not in, it's good for you going into that game. But I don't think this changes a bit much. I mean, these guys are still very, very good upfront. They have one of the best offensive lines in football. They have two of the rest running backs in football. This is a very tall task. It's going to be a very physical and intense game. I'm surprised you don't think it changes as much.

Point spread changed about six or seven points from where it would have been. I mean, now it didn't come out with the bear favorite because people knew Williams was likely out. But we, we estimate it. Bears probably would have been about a two to and a half point favorite. Now they're James. What it was about three. It was four and a half as he has to. The Eagles were four and a half point. That's a six to seven points swing. Like that's saying. In there, in the in Vegas, and what they're probably thinking is, you're starting quarterback makes the biggest difference in the game. Right? I mean, anytime a starting quarterback goes out, it's a huge deal. My, my, I guess, caveat to that is, backup quarterbacks come in all the time in win games when they come in for a short stink. Because there's not a lot of tape out there. Teams aren't don't have immediate things to prepare for. It happens all the time in the league where backup quarterback comes in and wins a game. Especially when you got the great run game. Yeah, this is key. Names going into a good situation. The coach is phenomenal. The offense align is great. The running game is great. It would not surprise me if the Paris offense is still very good. We're ahead of this weekend.
