Yeah. Boom, beat, I'm bum. Oh, yes. Good morning. 902 and 30 seconds. I said, I know we kept the digital hour is on. On YouTube, I DSP and Los Angeles on the app, the Sedano and Capptile, not on serious XM channel. Yeah. Nope. Not there. On this September 15th, 2026, do the bullhorn. Why? Who's this woman looking at it? I don't like when there's new people looking at it. Yeah, I know. It's definitely bringing her around. I don't like this. What is this? She better get ready for this. They're here. No, they hear Eisen in the hall. Just like serious. Right. They don't hear us anyway. No, you oddly enough, here is in the kitchen. You hear us in the kitchen and Eisen in the hall. Yeah, that's weird. Well, who knows with the wiring here? Yeah. At least we are. I'm shocked that you're not hearing like a Korean station in the hallway that's been miswired from 2009. Yeah. The old 1540. Oh, really? The 1540? It used to be 1540 to ticket. And they, they, that was a Korean. They became a Korean. After the sports. Oh, gotcha. I thought they did Korean sports.
No, I didn't know. They didn't do this to the KBS. Well, maybe they had KBS reports. Yeah. Who's on hold? Oh, that's right. Travis. Travis Tuesday. Like we were in the last day. Travis Tuesday. They have Travis. And he loved going into the new gym. I never voted him twice before. I even I promoted him once. I love that. We got to just cut up that. And I got to go through. I can't believe Kathy has never watched any of these Nolan movies. Have you ever watched a Christopher Nolan movie in general? No. No, you had to have seen some. What? Give me an example. Oh, no, you got to do this first for Travis. And then online. Travis got to come on. You hear him weekdays at 3 p.m. The debacle in Travis afternoon show. He also goes to Ram's pre-posts and half, especially post with me. And he loves to do a good Buffalo build dance. It is a Travis Tuesday. And we say good morning to our afternoon, man. The great Travis Rogers. Morning, guys. What's going on, man? All right. Travis Christopher Nolan, you're in your out on his movies. Mostly in.
Yeah, me too. I'm a fan. Yeah. So Kathy, let's go over this list. Okay. Kathy, famously doesn't watch movies after 2001. I feel like. But I did, but I did break out the Jersey boys today. Yeah. Yeah. I don't believe that movie was pre-2001. Have you seen the Jersey boys? Travis. I don't believe I've had the pleasure. Is that like a song and dance? Yeah, it's a song. It's a song. It's a song. And what you find out is that Frankie Valley back in the old days, he and Joe Pesci were real tight. You're like, wait, how did Joe Pesci just show up in this whole thing? Yeah, what did I am? Use you? Yeah. I mean, it makes you laugh, Henry. I've never thought of Joe Pesci as a song and dance man, but there you go. Remember, Frankie Valley is in the season of the sopranos that we love Travis where they get the phone book out and they say, hey, you know, remember? Yeah. Well, then he caught it in the driveway. Yeah. And I want to show Kathleen Padman back to. What was I to get to see him, not Ricky or Ron? He was the little guy. What was the little guy? I don't. Yeah. I don't mentioned.
So let'sJAlegue the show James. So cadet let's just just quickly go through some of these movies. So clearly we know you've never seen any of the Batman Nolan movies, right? Which is kind of crazy about there. No one seen his Nolan play Batman. Nolan is the director. You're a bad guy. Beginning all in is the director. You dummy. Have you ever seen inception. The cap I like thinking of it. That better. Yeah. Give me thehas me. And Hands the Perfecting in the so version of . conception. Yeah, that's the way. No, William should watch. We should do a YouTube screening of capy watching inception. Trying to figure it out. Wait, I'm trying to remember what the movie was about, but it's about like something in the future or something. They go into the dream. They're like, they go into dreams. They're seeing this. Yeah, in caps, defend. I don't think anybody's ever figured out. No, no, no, no. Thank you. Thank you. Really good. Really. So you've seen inception in her stellar. I don't think so. I haven't either. Uh, tenant. That's a good one. tenant. Yeah, that's with the tensile sun. It's really good. I don't know that one. Yeah, uh, gun Kirk, done Kirk. He's like a world war two movie or something. Yeah. Oh, wait a second. Here we go. I mean, we have to get it in. Yeah. I know. Yeah. Now his original
movie, Memento is excellent. Memento, huh? Never seen it. Yeah. I don't know anything about it. Yeah. What else? Um, I'm trying to think what else did he do? You ever see the dark night? Oppen, Oppenheimer. Oh, Oppenheimer. Oppenheimer. Oh, listen. Yeah. Good. Not seen Oppenheimer. And that's one that's like still on my list that I haven't seen. Even though it's like four years old, but I'll get to it at some point. All right. Well, at least you've seen a few of his movies. The prestige. That's another one. The prestige. What about the Odyssey that just is? Yeah. The Christopher Nolan movie. Yeah. I didn't see the Odyssey. This started Travis because today is Tom Hardy's 49th birthday. Of course, played Bane in dark night rises. Wait, Tom Hardy's not the clothing brand like the cheesy New Jersey dudes wear it. Oh, Ed Hardy. My bad, my bad, y'all, my bad, or Tom, Tom Ford makes the nice suits. Yeah. Oh, hey, would, would Bane kick Reacher's ass? No. What? Thank you. Thank you. Wow. Just so you know, you've just made a terrible mistake because you've disagreed with my man, Sadano here. No way. Uh, Bane, Reacher will kill him. No way, Bane,
no way, Bane loses to Reacher. Nobody kicks Reacher's ass. Reacher may take a few punch as along the way, but but Reacher's coming out on the right side of any fight every time against Bane, right? Hey, by the way, Reacher doesn't lose fight. Yeah. Oh, you think darkness is your ally? Are you million ducted the dark? I was born in it. Molyed by it. That's Reacher. No, that's Bane. No, that's Reacher. Kicking Reacher's ass right there. Hey, Traver. I mean, when he gets Batman up in the air, he breaks his back. He broke Batman's back. Reacher did, right? No, Bane. Oh, I thought Reacher was going to break Batman's back. Batman would Batman could beat Reacher up with like, uh, just like, like not even using his tool belt. Traver, you current on Reacher because you know, we're going into episode eight final, uh, final one of the season. That's tomorrow night. Are you completely current? No, I'm one behind. Okay. I am, I watch the first. Yeah. Okay. Wait till you see what happens. Oh, wait till you see. Yeah. Wait till somebody else's ass because you know, you're
at the end of episode six where he's in the back of the van, right? Yep, back in the like patty wagon. Yeah. So let me guess he gets out of the van. Yeah. Yeah. He's looking for Christian bailer. Whoever else wanted to beat him. Now, hold on. I want to make a sports pivot here. Uh, okay. If you don't mind. Yeah, I was going to anyway, but good. Well, I want to do everybody should have their own sports pivot. I'm curious. What's yours? Well, today is a live image Tuesday presented by Providence. Travers. Yeah, he loves that. So here's the thing. I have not spoken because I wasn't here yesterday afternoon because I had this laptop mess. So this will be even to mark on my first time to embrace since Australia. And my goal today is for him to tackle me on the show because I won't stop about how the Rams are going. Oh, and five and it's a choke job. And Miles Garrett is a bust and it's a disaster. And they got duped. Travis, how quickly do you think I can get the mark to snap? Well, I mean, do you really think they're going to go on five or you just saying
that to be Morales like? Yes, I think it's possible. It is possible. I mean, look, anything is possible, right? But do I actually, but Travis's point, I don't see them going on in five. Okay, let's time out. Travis, are they going to beat the giants this upcoming Monday night? Yes. Okay, will they beat the Broncos in Denver the following week? Now I think the Broncos look pretty lousy. I mean, I know the cheese look pretty good. Yeah, I think they can do. I'm not I'm not even being a homer. I think they can win all four of these things. I don't think they're going to go four and oh, in the next four, but there's not a game they're going to ask me about can they beat the Phillies or the Eagles? Can they beat the Buffalo Bill? So of course they can. I mean, I'm they're not going to go four no, but I wouldn't be surprised if they win two and two or even three and one. Traff even despite that poor performance on Thursday, they are still by a decent margin, the bedding favorite to win the Super Bowl. I don't understand that. Yep. Not after that first game performance and week one's a liar. But here's one thing that was true about week one.
Miles Garrett was injured and most of us were like, why is he never practicing? Why is nobody talking about this? And then when Miles Garrett Travis, because you never hear a player say this, when Miles Garrett admits after the game, I'm out there trying to protect myself. I'm not trying to go after their quarterback. That is a damning admission by the player. And it's also really, it puts the organization in a very bad light in my opinion, an organization that had everything going into this season as people thought they might go into feed it, 60 minutes did an expose on Sean McVeigh because they expected them to win this first game, et cetera, et cetera. That was a, that was a damning admission, in my opinion, by Miles Garrett. What did you think? Yeah, I thought it was unusual the way that he characterized it, but I don't think that him being hurt for a period of time is going to radically alter what they're doing. He was the cherry on top of the Sunday anyway. Before they had Miles Garrett, they were still one of the best teams. When they got the two corners, they were one of the best teams.
They're going to have one of the best offenses. I really, like Sidana said a second ago, week one is always weird. What does it mean if week one is on the other side of the world against the team that turns you inside out more often than not? And your guy that you just got has an inch like it was a perfect storm of things that were going to work against them. If look, if they look anything like they looked against the Niners, like they do against the Sam, excuse me, the New York Giants, then I think we're having a totally different conversation. Then it may be one of those super teams that craters before it even gets off the ground, but I really am going to wait until we see a second game because that first game was all of those things. Other side of the world, San Francisco, Miles Garrett, not ready. They don't play in their guys in the preseason. All of this stuff that would lead to a really weird opening act until it bleeds in the acts two and three. I'm really not going to sweat it down. It was a terrible performance, but it was just one game. But I wanted to say this, you know, you say Miles Garrett was the cherry on top, right? But let's just not forget about one thing.
Prior to Miles Garrett arrival, everybody was hyped on the Rams because of what they had done in their secondary. So the assumption was is that all they really did was add to their weakness, which was their secondary, because they still had their original front seven and Jared Vers was still the name brand pass rusher. You moved Jared Vers a young guy. They bring Aaron Donaldin. Well, but that's even, but that's even before the Aaron Donaldin. You're saying that Miles Garrett was the cherry on top. I think we're underestimating that he was, but Jared Vers left. So they fixed the defense with verse and the secondary. Then they move verse and what do we all say? Well, that's a massive upgrade unless the guy is hurt. And if Miles Garrett does, let me ask you this, when do you suppose Miles Garrett makes it back? What game? I think it's probably week six or seven. I think it's going to be a little more than four. Like so that takes us through week five. So I think he misses five or six games. So somewhere
around six or seven, I have them coming back against the chargers at home on November 1st. I have them coming back again, coming back against bad teams like Arizona or the Raiders. Just to get his feet wet. Yeah. Do you think Aaron Donald will play this week? Because I'm I'm thinking Aaron Donald was coming back to play with Miles Garrett. And the two of them on the field together, that was the exciting part for Aaron Donald. But if there's no Miles Garrett, if I'm Aaron Donald, I'm like, wait a second. I came back to compliment him. I didn't come back to carry this defensive line. Yeah, but I understand the point, but I don't know if he's going to have to carry the defensive line. I think that you still have an I understand your point about verse and I think it's a good one, but you still have Byron Young who had 12 sacks. You still have Kobe Turner, who's a really, really good player. You've got Braden Fisk. I've heard nothing but that Josiah Stewart, the guy that could have started on, I don't know, 20 or 25 other teams in the league. So it's not like it was just Miles Garrett or it's just Aaron Donald. Aaron Donald was really good without Miles
Garrett when he was here a few years ago. He still was playing at a very high level there with guys like young and Turner. And I get it. The verse was there. And I think like I said, that's a good point, but this this idea that the sky is falling with this team just doesn't make any sense to be had a terrible first game. This was nothing more than a terrible first game against the team that they frequently paid poorly against. It makes a lot of sense. Yep. And it was on the other side of the world. So I just I get it. Miles Garrett being hurt sucks. I get that him not being here till some point in the quasi midpoint of the season sucks. But this was not a team built around only Miles Garrett. That's a team that I think is still going to score 30 points a game. I think that the offense looking as horrible as it is is more interesting to be going into New York than it is the game they had against San Francisco that they only scored seven points. I think is far more alarming than they gave up 27 even with Miles Garrett looking like he was a non factor. I think the offense comes back and even looks kind of sort of what it's supposed to look like. I think they're going to be right back where we think they're going to be. Well look,
I'll just say this. I agree with you. It was one game. It was around the world. It was a poor performance. I have contended the entire time since that game. The travel schedule tried out smart everybody and it backfire. I believe that the reason they played as poorly as they played was 100% related to their travel. And that's and I mean not 100%. Okay, I'll put it in this way. I'll give the 49ers their credit, but the 49ers were smart and they showed up early and they acclimated and they looked fresh and ready to go. And the Rams got off a plane and had to run and play a football game after traveling for 16 hours. And what I mentioned to you was because of the the Niners understanding what they were up against, you know, traveling across the world, right? They also, unlike the Rams, and I know this is the Rams mantra and that's their deal in the preseason. The Niners at least got a couple series here and there for some of their guys and not saying the Rams didn't do, you know, play their guys in those scrimmages that they play against
other teams that are not televised or whatever. I don't know the details of that. Okay, but I will tell you that the Niners played their actual guys in actual preseason games, even if it was just for a little bit. And I think that stuff helps to just a smidge when you're doing what you're doing and traveling across the world. I agree. I think that the travel had a lot to do with it. I don't think it was everything to do it that I think San Francisco was putting a lot of their stock into that opening game, getting there early, getting acclimated. We'll see, you know, they they played the dolphins this week and the dolphins might be the worst team in the league. Right, it's going to be a hard litmus test for them. But if they look something less than great, maybe the reaclamation coming back this way is a little more challenging. The Rams look really sharp and crisp and never got off the body clock. And maybe not that they were exactly plumbing on the opening game, but at least willing to take the risk of looking like crap in the opening game, knowing that they'd hit the ground running for weeks, two through however many, you know, that you get reaclimated. So we'll see it was it was a terrible performance. It was a terrible travel plan. So, you know,
just when you really stop and think about it, flying 8,000 miles. And that's how far it is. To just get off the plane, sleep, play and leave. That's an insane plan. Yep. It makes absolutely sense at all. Right. And I think that if they could do it again, they would probably do it a little differently. But again, because we don't have any other games to talk about yet, we're going to hyper focus on this one. And it was it was it was awful. Well, it was terrible, but I don't think it changed. I keep talking about Miles Garrett and how ineffective he was. As you know, managing maintenance repair and operations is never easy. Having uncontrolled eels in a phylic esophagitis or EOE can mean your stock in many ways, like cutting your food into tiny pieces or stock chewing food for a long time. But the defense, the rest of these guys that we're talking about,
we have high expectations of biring young. We have high expectations of Kobe Turner, etc. And the truth of the matter is they all stunk. Now again, it's not, in my opinion, the travel played a massive role in their terrible performance. So I'm going to give them this week Monday night against a giants who look significantly better than we've seen them in years past because guests now their quarterback is a second year guy. But forget about the quarterback. Everything about the giants that is changing is about the coach. It's about the installation of what John Harbaugh was in Baltimore and what he's now bringing to New York. So I don't think the giants are some pushover. Now it is hard to travel all the way east, all the way west, play at the later hour. I mean, it gets you're essentially on your body clock from these coast. But the point is, is that if the Rams come out and they look like they're supposed to look, then great. All is right with the world. But I'll tell you this. If they wind up losing this game, all of the critics out there who said, yeah, maybe they're not as good as they are on paper.
Those guys are going to get louder. I tell you what, man. I tell you what, man, I'm looking at the Sean McVeigh team, man, I'm a little disappointed in Miles Garrett and his knee, man. What do you think about that? Aren't you supposed to battle my grudin with something else? Stetson Bennett. Getting an opportunity to play in my first ever real NFL game was maybe a silver line and to go on all the way over to Australia and getting my first snaps and getting my first first down running the offense. So I give coach McVeigh and my teammates a lot of credit for getting me out on the field. I'm having a hard time right now even being present and I'm listening to Stetson Bennett. I once read a book about a guy who's got this cologne called Stetson and I wear it and it's really good. I love that. I was thinking minutes piece was bizarre. Oh my god. That was the second practice. Yeah. Well, I mean, you know, CBS is gone news has gone through a makeover. Let's call it. So it's it wasn't your traditional 60 minutes kind of interview in my opinion. Well,
that me and George were talking before we got on the other this morning. There's that one point where what's the guy's name from 60 minutes? I don't even know who he is. The course on. Yeah, I don't know what's his name. John John work time. Okay. So this guy work time says to to Stafford about the picture on the boat. Yeah. You see these pictures. Yeah. And frickin McVeigh. Like if you're ever around Sean McVeigh or just watch him on the sideline. He looks like thick because he got a lot of chest going on. Yeah. Yeah. You know, you don't name his chest. Right. You don't anticipate that he's going to take off his shirt and be completely shredded ripped. Yeah. And by the way, here's the other weird part. We're all looking at McVeigh's abs. Did anybody check out his wife? I mean, she's hot too. Well, that's that's how that's how a shocking McVeigh's physique was is that you're not even mildly distracted by his otherworldly gorgeous wife. Right. It's like you're just you're just locked into McVeigh's abs and you're right. Like when you just see him walking around in that tight little hoodie that he likes and he's out there like you know he's got big chest and arms and all that stuff. But I was expecting maybe not quite a dad
bod but something less than a 12 pack that he was packing in there. That was that was big look. He's and and I use this word as a compliment. He's a crazy person. Right. Like the way that he per. He's the way that he prepares for football. The way that he clearly is putting in work in the gym. Like he doesn't do anything just okay. I'm to check the box and get a workout today. He's training like he's Mr. Olympia. The guy with a limited tick. I know and his wife by the way. Let's not forget. This girl's had two babies like back to back and we need to look pretty good. Right. We need to look at it. We look pretty good. Look at McVeigh's abs. Oh my god. And then oh wait. Look at his wife. Look at her. I mean this guy. He's pretty good. He's showing it all off. Sean. You know, Travis, I just worry about Sean getting those soft tissue tears eventually. You know. Hey look. I who knows man. All I know is he looks really good. He's very intense. He wants to win football games and I would very much hope that you antagonize to Marco enough today that he does. How many times will Marco wipe his face today during during our you know, okay. I got I got to tell you. I know
you weren't around yesterday. Morales, but he did it a few times yesterday and it's the first time I've ever actually clocked it before because you and I talked about like Greg is the one that brought it up and he did it a few times yesterday. I'm like, oh, okay. Well, maybe maybe we're back on something here. We'll see what it does today when you start giving them the business. Who's going to need more protection? Morales from from from DeMarco or Lane Kiffin former USC coach fired on the tarmac returning from LSU to Ole Miss this weekend. Oh, kids got to be Kiffin, right? I mean they because look as as crazy as Chris is and I hope that DeMarco finally gets gives Chris what he's what he's been looking for for a long time. But people in the SEC are great. They're they're absolutely out of their minds and it extends beyond the football. It goes to the politicians. It goes to the fans like they're all just in this absolutely crazy state where they want blood and they say I can't wait to see it. Kiffin of course is leaning into it. Yeah. Never mind trying to
cool cool things off. He's trying to escalate. If he's the craziest person in the whole group. He's got a smirk on his face the entire time. So I'm I'm here for that. Yeah. Kiffin. Kiffin is a deeply deeply unlikeable guy. He knows it. Everybody knows that he leaves he leads into it. So I cannot wait to see him go back into Oxford. Yeah. It's going to be great theater and television. I'm going to be watching. He has become to college football. What his what his former boss was to the NFL. He is a total break the rules. Maverick I live by my rules. He has turned himself into Al Davis of college football coaching because when Al Davis fired him, he said famously, lane Kiffin is a liar. He's a liar. And that is what lane Kiffin has turned himself into the Al Davis of college football and much like Al Davis and because Al went crazy at the end of his life and was wearing chainmail suits to press conferences. But you forget that that Al Davis was a football
guy. Like he was a. Oh my god. Yeah. He was a person before he went crazy. So that's Kiffin is crazy. And he's also an incredible coach everywhere he goes. Maybe with the exception of the Raiders, they've been really, really good. So yeah, he the Al Davis comparison is great. And that's that's not quite as good as your your your your grudin or your your McVeigh cap, but your Al Davis isn't half bad. All right. Not bad. I'm getting there. I Travis enjoy live imaging Tuesday today. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Sweet T T Ross Travis Rogers the debarco Travis after the show. We taste it. Be sure to today when you get ready. Maybe just tucking on the name it. Oh Jesus. I travel. See you this afternoon. I I'll see you this afternoon. So hard. You know, I'm getting killed in the YouTube chat right now. Well, because now they're saying that Kaplan is like John Ireland, like I'm some purve who like now I'm checking out Sean McVeigh's wife. But you say this stuff. What stuff? You say the stuff. You say it. Oh wait a second. Hold on. Can I can I ask
everybody in the YouTube chat a question? Did Sean McVeigh and his beautiful life? So you add the extra stuff there? What? She's a beautiful girl. Okay. God just finished. Did they not put out for public consumption a photo of the two of them. He's shirtless and she's in a tiny little bikini. My point was I never even looked at her. I was only obsessed with his out. Right. Then I started and then I started looking at her and I went, well, she's freaking ripped too. Yeah. I mean, they're like they look like their fitness models. Yes. The two of them. Now everybody thinks I'm some weird purve. Yeah. Am I? I mean, you are right. Two things you are. But you're also not wrong about this. Hey, I got to run to a meeting. Oh, you know, yes. Oh, I told you. I told you the text. You're right. You're right. You're right. You're right. You're right. I'm just sad. We've been having fun. Okay. Why gotta go? Well, now we're gonna have fun at Sedona's expense. I'm gonna tell you why. Why? Why? Why? You go. Okay. Go. Why? You don't have man enough to tell me in person. We can now. He dropped the mic. And look, you know, we should do. We didn't get to it yet today.
But it's take your mic thing. Yeah. Don't forget about it. I got you this mic cover. And then you just leave it there. And take it and hold on to it. What do you want me to hold your mic cover? Hold my cover. You see the thing on the head phone? Take that. It can touch the cover. Like, you're not going to have your lips touching Mason's lips on the on the freaking microphone. You know, I have to take a check. Yeah. That is a that jacket's nice. I don't think I can fit in it. No, he can't fit it in. I don't think I could zip it up. So fat. So disgusting. Yeah, I do. Oh, really? Thanks. I don't look like Sean McVeigh good. No, tell you that right now. Look, as good as Veronica. He took that stuff too. You'd be fun. What's stuff? Yeah. All right. What were you going to say? So, um, I don't know why, but my boy, Sedano, oh, he just, he's going to win me. Was that what will it? It's actually me. Like your finger, too. Oh, dry will dry. He was dry. He was dry. He tried. He tried. Will he? All right. Go ahead. What were you going to say? So look what you bring out of people. I know. Like he, he,
what does this kid do? I never shared food with people until I met you. Yeah. And it was your idea, which is the burger. So the thing about it is this we're going to argue about this all the time because George's life is one giant argument. So when I say that Justin Herbert is not as good as everybody says he is and shouldn't be considered a top five quarterback because he never wins playoff games, etc. He comes back at me and tells me no, you're wrong. Then he goes through the exercise. He goes, let's go through every single team in the NFL and you tell me who would rather have, you know, this quarterback and I go, wait a second, I'd rather have Fernando Mendoza. Do you wouldn't rather have Fernando? Yes, I would because he's the future. I've already seen what I've seen out of Justin Herbert. I'd rather go with my future Tyler Schuck or or or or Mendoza. You name the guy. You know, yesterday I was hardly the only person that was criticizing Justin Herbert. In fact, I thought so many national football reporter types were like, why does he get glazed over and over and over again? Even an Arizona Cardinal safety destroyed Justin Herbert. So I'd love to
play these soundbikes. So do you want to hear the safety or do you want to hear Mike Florio? We have both. So let's go with the Arizona Cardinal Safety Andrew Wingard first. Everyone just has a chip on their shoulder, man. It's hard not to. The team has an that success in the last few years. So everyone's just hungry, man. And you can't put a price tag on hunger. You know, it's like everyone's glazing the chargers glazing Justin Herbert. And here we are focused. And that's what it is. I loved that. I mean, last few years, it's been like 10 just to be fair. So Carson Palmer was the quarterback. That was like 2015. No, but but didn't the, uh, I guess the Kyler Murray the first couple of years. Yeah, but what about the playoffs with Kyler Murray? What was the year that that Kurt Warner took the that was 2008? Oh, yeah, that was a while ago. It was a current order than like somebody then Carson Palmer. Okay. Then somebody and then Kyler Murray. So there was somebody then somebody else. I think somebody in the company. They did because remember, they played that wild card Monday night game against the Rams. So I guess it's been a few years.
But but this idea of your own opposing player. And look, we know where the Arizona Cardinals. We know we haven't been successful. We know we would like to start winning. But the entire lead up to the game while the Cardinals are nine and a half point underdogs, the lead up is how awesome Justin Herbert is. Now why is Justin Herbert? Why does he get all this glazing? The height, the arm, the running ability, how cool he looks in the uniform, the hot girlfriend now, et cetera, et cetera. But really, it's where you get yourself in the problem. Why what's problem? The hot girlfriend. That's part of the story now. I understand. But you could say like, you know, the attractive girlfriend or the girlfriend. Just leave it at the girlfriend. We all know athletes usually have attractive girlfriends. Not all of them. I'm just saying this is why people call you what they call you. What? Would they call me a purve? Because I say somebody's hot. It's just who uses the word hot. Do you use it burgui in everyday language? I mean, he's hot. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, yeah, I do. Yeah, I do. But it's like to cap his boy like to be like, oh, man, that dude, that good looking,
that's a good looking guy right there. What's wrong with that? And then you say he's hot. Yeah, he is hot. See, I think capy gets away with this because he calls everybody hot. Right, Justin Herbert hot. Matthew Stafford hot. Sean McVase hot. Yeah, but the under those eyes McVase looking, but then he's gonna warn out. But then shares weirdly hot. I mean, you have those, you have those, yeah, those different ones. You see the posts, the TMZ posts, he has to say that Martha Stewart did like a selfie and said I should post nudes. I was like, you know what? This is right. I've got capy's out. I don't know about that. I don't know if I need to see that. Share maybe Martha, not so much. What about Babs? Barbara Streisett. Again, I don't need to go there. All right. Yeah. Okay, go ahead. Go back to your show. So here's what to hear Mike Florio. So now Mike Florio. So that Mike Florio from Profitball Talk got a big platform. I would call him a respected voice, you know, here's what Florio said yesterday related to the Herbert Harbaugh situation. Jim Harbaugh has got to stop with the Justin Herbert stuff. He's not helping Justin Herbert.
I'll the quote that he gave last week to Michael Larvin, allow me to call my shot like Bay Bruth pointing his bat over the center field. Yes, Justin Herbert, when it's all said and done, when his career comes to an end, I predict he will be known as the greatest best ever to play the position of quarterback. When it's all said and done, his career is finished. We're going to look back and say, yep, that's the best that ever did it. Having uncontrolled Eels and Affiliacus, Soffa Gidis or EOE can mean your stock in many ways, like cutting your food into tiny pieces or stock chewing food for a long time. Learn more at DePixen.com or call 1-844-Depixen. Bonjour, Compadre. It's the... How do I negotiate so many great travel deals? My greatest gadget. The priceline app. It's got hotel deals, flight deals, rental car deals, all of those deals in a bundle, deals, game day deals, concert trip deals, no one deals more deals than priceline. Hold your horses. There's more. The applet you filter hotels by neighborhood, vibe, star level, and amenities like pools and spas and beach fronts. Wait, I'm not done. Stop cutting me up. Why? Why? I mean because nobody believes you anymore when you say that. You've shot your credibility and you're putting more pressure on the kid. Like I feel like he's trying
everything he can to coax Justin Herbert to become this guy that he has yet to become. Yeah. And I am willing to submit for consideration that if Justin Herbert can't beat the Cardinals at home week one, when the Cardinals have been one of the worst teams we've seen in recent years, when they've lost nine straight week one games, maybe you're not destined to be the best ever. How about you win a playoff game first before we start getting into the best ever? I know, but that's the whole thing about Jim Harbaugh. And this is what this is what Floreo is saying is that Harbaugh has lost the credibility because Harbaugh just overglazes anybody that he's around. For example, if you went back and found pre-draft what Jim Harbaugh said about JJ McCarthy, and now here we are three years into JJ McCarthy's career and he's becoming a he's really become a laughing stock, you know. The fact that the Minnesota Vikings lost their starting quarterback,
Kyler Murray, who they brought into a place their first round quarterback, JJ McCarthy. And when Murray gets hurt 11 plays into the season, McCarthy's not next man up. When last year, truth be told, I mean, the Vikings were nine and eight. They weren't good, but they were nine and eight. McCarthy was their starting quarterback for however many games it was last year. He's not even QB two. But if you went back and you listen to Harbaugh, pre-draft, JJ McCarthy might become one of the all-time greats. So, Floreo calling Harbaugh out and saying, dude, you have no credibility because everything you do is about ridiculous hyperbole when it comes to anybody that you're associated with who can take you seriously. And he's not doing Herbert any favors. No, he's not. And it's the more than more and more that days it's heart losing games because every time I see Harbaugh, sorry, Herbert in big situations and big plays, he's getting sacked. And then like you, I think you mentioned it earlier, his offensive line was full. So to be able to every single time, there's a big moment when Herbert's involved sacked throwing the ball away, getting picked, he is bad under pressure.
So to have somebody like Harbaugh going after him consistently saying all these amazing thing, oh, he's the greatest in the world. He's going to be the best ever. The war has been. All these things, he's just so hyperbolic that it makes it so it's hurting, like you're saying, he's hurting him in the long run. And, and listen, when the injuries begin to mount, as they will for the chargers, then everybody will make more excuses. Like last week, Lad Mcconkey got hit and they, and has a rib issue now. But yeah, he got hit hard too. That was. And who knows if he's going to be back? And listen, you may say, well, Lad Mcconkey is not Pukinakua. No, but in that offense, he's an important part. He's a he's a serious piece of that offense. It makes it so that Quinn Johnson can be the Quinn Johnson. So yeah. So now as I bet a little taste to Harbaugh after the game. Oh, okay. I should get better at. And it's a start. It's not to start that that we wanted, but credit to the Cardinals. And it'll be about our our resolve, our way we bounce back. Got to bounce back.
That resolve mistakes were uncharacteristic. So you guys and moving the ball as well. Did you did you feel that way? Uh, yeah. I mean, there was there was, uh, you know, quite a bit. Quite a bit of that. Yeah. Thanks Harbaugh. Really? Great stuff, Jim. Yeah. I mean, what happened to Mara and Hampton being the best with the best running back of that class last year? You know what? He's not he's he's pretty good. I'm wearing Hampton. He's he's pretty rugged running back. You didn't like that. Great. Yeah. Uh, Sunday. No, but he had a couple of runs that you're like, okay, this guy, this the kid can play. But, um, yeah, as far as him being the best of the class. It's genty. Genty used the best of the class. Well, let's keep pushing that narrative. Sure. I'm gonna present. Let's keep pushing on that because when the Raiders come to LA, they're home away from home and they annihilate the chargers this weekend. Oh, I'm going to be celebrating on Monday. And of course, on the other hand, I'll be eating a lot of crow on Monday if the chargers bounce back and beat the Raiders. Sedano just sent a text about the serious thing.
It's amazing. What's he saying now? What's he saying now? It doesn't say it says us. I don't know what that means. Does it mean the Sedano and Cap? Yeah, it does. It says Sedano and Cap in the morning. And we're on on serious channel 95. But what he's saying is is that people are tuning in and they see Sedano and Cap and then they hear Eisen and they go, what the hell? So even if we wanted right now to put it on, we can't. Like the pathways aren't there yet for us to like make that switch. So we got to figure out an engineering thing. And as you might have noticed, if you're listening, we've got quite a few of those. Like what's what's the first priority? I think it's these microphones. I think the microphones are the first priority. Now the microphone sound fine. So something's going on. There's Gremlins, much like the movie Gremlins. I think there's Gremlins inside our processing because it seems to adjust as the morning goes on. But meanwhile, you know, I had a long day yesterday. Tell me. Tommy and I after the show, we went to Dr. Clapper's office. I installed the comics. Then we went to
a little vermin because he was on his way back to his house. I took an Uber because I wanted to leave my car here because I had to begin the laptop and iPad replacement. So I ended up walking or back into downtown LA. The Uber delivered me at 830 APM in front of LA live. 830 APM. Oh, there's a lot of slack going on with the Emmys last night. I said, you go get my luggage and the Lesca Rots from my car. Okay. Then I walked into the downtown LA home away from home. And there was Jennifer behind the counter. She's the best. Mr. Morales, wherever you been, here's your water. Here's your key card. Would you look tired? Have a good night. I said, thank you, Jennifer. Because downtown LA, our home away from home is the essential hotel. And that's what the General Manager of Robert Montes does. He makes his fill at home, Capy. You know, it was amazing. I walked in to check in yesterday. And some of the folks there were like, oh, we didn't know if we'd see you again. I'm like, why? Like, well, we see that, you know, the ESPN TV thing, you know, they've moved down to the NFL network building right by SoFi Stadium. Like, we didn't know if you'd still be working here. I'm like, no, no, we work out of the radio in the audio facility, which is still right here. And they're like, oh, well, we're happy to have you. I'm like, well, thanks. And here's
the day told me we get so many people. I was I was so happy to hear this. We get so many people that check into the East Central Hotel. And they go, well, I hear Capy and I hear Morales talking about it all the time. They go, what do you guys say about this middle towel? I'm like, don't worry about it. We just say how soft it is. Well, there's a new marketing person. I think that asked Tommy, what's up with the middle Talbot? And I said, what's that? I use it for my private. What can I tell? It's a beautiful towel. It is because we really say the essential has got the softest towels too of any hotel. And I will tell you right now, I really, for those of you that live in the 714, that's my favorite room at the East Central 714 because it's a nice big suite. And I was there last night eating my jersey, my soul by myself watching this Monday night football game. I'm telling you, I worked out in the gym, which is great. The Nixel Lounge for breakfast where I got my coffee this morning. You're going to have a great experience at the East Central Hotel in downtown L.A. Right on Figaro and Olympic right across the street from L.A. Live. If you're coming for a game, you're coming for a show. If you were at the M.E.s last night, you should have been staying at the
East Central. And don't be like Tony Romo this year. Don't get a DUI. Get a room at the East Central. Trust me, a hotel room at East Central is going to be much cheaper than that DUI. No doubt. And safer so you don't hurt yourself or kill somebody else. Well said, the East Central Hotel, downtown L.A. That's where we stay. That's where you should stay. The home of Enter statement 940 will take a two minute time out. And then when we return, we've got to do the don't let the small set of calendar capy's dealer's choice. And we'll go around the world. I also want to play a shamanic vay yesterday when he when he told everybody about the miles Garrett thing and why it took so long. I will do that two minutes right now on ESPN L.A. 942. Good morning. This is not only cap mordy show alive. You would see Tuesday presented by Providence. Capy on this day in 1984. Freaky goes to Hollywood where he lacks became the longest running chart hit since the end-gover at Humperdings released me. And you know, I'm a big angle bird Humperding guy. Relax. Don't do it. Yeah. Okay. It's coming back to me.
We like your double entendre for this one, huh? Yeah. Well, wait. What did you say it was? 1984. 1984. I don't even know if it's on Tondra. Come on, Burger. Pretty straight forward, huh? Well, which part? This is the whole song. Oh, really? Think about it. Relax. Don't do it when you want to go through it. Relax. Don't do it. What are they talking about when you want to? Oh, meanwhile, Hispanic Heritage Month begins today. Tomorrow will be Mexican Independence Day. And we want to say I wonder because I think Wendy might be on the mar. But maybe we'll get like a leash at a vaille. I don't know. We'll do something tomorrow. We'll just play some homeboy all these. You know, I see the pendant say, you know, Burger, I'm reading the lyrics now from from the song Relax. Pretty pretty straight forward. That's what he was saying. Yeah, I never really heard the lyrics other than relax. Don't do it. Please don't, please don't. When you want to go to it, relax. And then I was like, wait, and now I'm reading the rest of them. I'm like, well, doesn't it actually actually say the word? I don't know where it does. It does. Yeah.
It's pretty straightforward. Wow. It's telling you how to how to how to what? Yes. Let's just keep moving on. Yes. Yes. Yes. Just relax. Happy 80th birthday to Tommy Lee Jones. Oh, really? Two face number two face. He was two faces. Oh, you know, I was one of those bad bad man. No, no. So you really have not seen any Batman movie ever. I saw Michael Keaton is Batman. Okay. He was great. Yeah. He was 1989 or 1989. Who was the original guy in the original movie? No, no, I'm not Adam West, the TV show. What was he? They did a movie too. Oh, really? Oh, no. Okay. But now I'm talking about like, and Michael Keaton was the next one. Oh, he was. Yeah. He did the first. He did the first two. I was a Michael Keaton fan. And then there was a whole Michigan ship. George Clooney, Val Kilmer. Okay. Val Kilmer. I think I know. Yeah. I don't think that's our money. Yeah. There was George. Yeah. George Clooney, Val Kilmer. There was one more, right? Yeah. I think there was one more. Oh, there's the one that it's now. What's they? Robert? Robert Pattinson's the one that's now. Ben Affleck. Oh, Ben Affleck. Yeah. That's
again, that was after that was after I think it's just it's just those. It was just Clooney and Kilmer. I think so. All right. Okay. Yeah. I'll have to see him at some point. I say that. I probably won't see that. Two face. He has two face on the YouTube. See? Two faced. Yeah. Yeah. Tommy Lee Jones. Two face. Oh, he's. Wait, wasn't two face the movie with John Travolta and Nicholas K. Lee's face. Oh, that's face. You know what? I just watched that movie probably like six months ago. Yeah. Just because it was I wanted to see how funny it's so bad. It's so, so, so bad. It's such a great movie, but it's still amazing how bad it is. It's a great movie. Two face should be the Steve Mason story. Oh, wow. There's no reason for that. No, why not? Other than it is live imaging Tuesday. Although I'm really close now during these Mason plus days. Oh, yeah. He text me more. He text me every day about Mason plus. It's amazing. Thankfully, I got I stopped getting those. All right. 946 as we begin the final approach of the show. Let's play this Sean McVase sound. This was yesterday him talking to the media about his choice on Miles Garrett
to move him to the aisle. At what point did you guys realize that Miles knew was at a situation where I R was a possibility of like a what point did it get to that severe that the I R was what you wanted to do? It was right after I mean, honestly, after I talked with him after the game, after I had spoken with you guys and just seeing, you know, just how he felt, you know, where you look at it. We thought it was something that we'd be able to kind of manage it. That wasn't necessarily the case. And so having that evidence and then being able to say what's the next right thing? So it was right after the game just in terms of listening to how he felt how he was able to impact the game, you know, and even just like what you guys saw with how limited that we had to be with him. Obviously, we thought we were doing the right thing in hindsight. You know, you always be able to learn from it. I'll never hang on to whether you want to send a mistake or just different things to be able to kind of change course if that's the right line of trajectory. And so it was right after the game that we kind of knew that was the direction that we thought.
And obviously you're talking to him and seeing how he and his group feels and you know, and that's that's what we made the decision on. So you know how, Capi, you know how your grudin is just Frank Calliando doing grudin. It sounds like McVeigh is just doing you doing the best. It's amazing. Now I can't hear it without hearing Capi. Now you are done to make Vade for McVeigh. I haven't done it as a matter of fact when we were trained. We need to get him on. I know he comes on a week wheat now during the season with Mason Ireland, but we do have to get him on and not ask him anything about football. Right. And I know we'll get so mad if we just make you do it. Do it. Yeah. And I'm going to actually like sit down and like listen to everything that he says because I love when he uses words like trajectory, complimentary, and I always like how he's he's always kind of giving you like books. And I read a book about this and it taught me this. And everybody who's listening to him is always like, oh my god, what's the name of that book? I might I got to read it too. You know, you can read all the books that he reads. You're not going to get abs like his. Okay. Period. That's just the end of the story. But isn't it interesting to hear him talk about how we don't think it's a mistake. We thought we can manage it. We thought let's
use that for some. They knew is what you're saying. Right. They knew that his knee was messed up. They knew that he wasn't practicing. They looked at his physique and when he's in great shape. And the longer we let him rest, the more likely it's going to be that he'll be okay when he has to put on the pads and he's got to go out there and he's got to play. Now a lot of people have come back to me and they're like, you know, you're kind of beating up a Miles Garrett and his knee, but he was going up against Trent Williams. Maybe that's why he was ineffective. No, that's not why. Now Trent Williams is a great player and Trent Williams. If he's 100% and Miles Garrett is 100% those two guys have a war. This was not a war. This was Miles Garrett being completely shut out. And when I say shut out, remember zero tackles, zero pressures, zero sacks. I mean, he did not do anything in this game. And then we found out after the game. He told us I'm trying to protect myself, which is a very strange admission from a player of his caliber. So what we learned is that Sean McVeigh says we knew we just thought we could manage it. By the way, we also knew that going to Australia
with the travel schedule that we planned, we thought it was going to work and didn't work. So they've got to look at themselves now and say we really, really mess this thing up. If Miles Garrett's knee was bothering him, having uncontrolled eels in a phyllic esophagitis or EOE can mean your stuck in many ways, like cutting your food into tiny pieces or stuck chewing food for a long time. Yeah, but I didn't mention that you can save up to 60% off hotels in the priceline app. Fine, no one deals more deals then. Please stop. Priceline. Tushae. Priceline. At the beginning of training camp, they probably should have fixed it and gotten them onto the field by week three or four. Now you've seen them be completely ineffective. Protect themselves on the field. You schlepped the guy halfway around the world to do nothing and now you got to bring them back, operate on them and you're probably not going to get them back for about till six, seven, eight weeks into the season. Yeah, they're saying four weeks, but it very well
could go even way longer. I think when we talk to Dr. Clapper on Thursday, he'll have a good diagnosis on that too. But yeah, now you need Aaron Donald back and the loss of Jared verse actually weighs pretty heavily now. You would need that guy on the line at this point. If if Jared verse were a hundred percent healthy right now, Jared verse would have played and been impactful in some way in that game against again, San Francisco. Now, had he not been impactful, but he was completely healthy. I blame it on the travel. You know what I mean? I have an excuse. But but if if Jared verse were completely healthy and Miles Garrett were still playing in Cleveland and he had knee surgery for and he was out for the next six or seven weeks, you'd rather have Jared verse right now. We'd also be laughing at Cleveland. Nothing was still laughing at Cleveland. No, I don't know. That's in general. It's just it's just one of these things where we all thought that when the Rams fixed the secondary, that was what was that's what was needed to fix his
defense. When they traded verse and they got Garrett, we all said, hate to see this young kid go because he's in up and coming star, but I'd rather have Miles Garrett. It's not even a question mark. And now it is a question mark because Miles Garrett is hurt and can't contribute. And Jared verse is a third year player who's got some serious credentials already in his career. So the Rams and I think you hear Coach McVeigh kind of saying it, the mistake was not getting this thing fixed before the season started and and hoping that managing it was going to be fun. This exact same thing the Dodgers had been doing with Otani. They let him go out and play night after night after night, watching him struggle. And then they go, well, he's got problems with his knee. Then get him out and fix him because you need him in the playoffs, not in the regular season. Oh, well, uh producer Emily just sent me a text and says pressure rate in week one per summer sports. Miles Garrett with one leg was 11.1 percent. Jared verse was 6.7. Okay, interesting. Different lines, different lines, different situations, but
Garrett just on Sunday or this week was better. Great point. Emily. Great job, man. I want to know what capy's pressure rate is. Not blood pressure. I know. I was thinking I might be like I might be like 12.2. I think I might have been higher than Miles Garrett. I thought you were going to say about 60 percent. 60 percent is kind of close. Nine 52 or almost done. The final approach of the Sedano and Cap Mordy show today is double cheeseburger day, national double cheese burger day. And my life has been changed because a wild forked mean seafood market. They're cheeseburgers. The unqueered bacon and cheddar cheeseburgers. Will you bite into it on their beautiful brioche buns? They taste and by the way, I am a red onion mayo mustard guy on a burger pickles. Sometimes mustard too. If I want to go big, guess what? I just go burger and bun now because a wild forked mean seafood. Nothing else on it. You don't need it because the burger is that good. The burger is that good. It's mouthwatering and you like mouthwatering capy. Wild forked mean seafood market. I have to worry about what I put in my mouth and my body now because of all the health stuff. And that's the best quality meat you can get.
After it's putured, it is flash frozen. So literally it's going from animal to you. Oh, what do you say? Oh, my wife said that. No way you said that though. From animal to you. Oh, during your librarians. Well, do I ever say anything like that? Well, now we can't send the air check because you're going, oh, I'll just the way you said it, you know. You know, you know, you didn't like the word swatter. Yeah, I don't like that word. Chicken breast from $2 a pound. Think about that. $2 a pound. It's pretty good for top quality chicken breast. Pretty good. A five pound bag for 14 bucks. Wild forked mean seafood markets. You want USDA choice, Tomahawk? Like when you go to capy's house, you may, when you made burgers that night, imagine if you just slept the Tomahawk for all the girls said, here's a Tomahawk state girls. Now leave me alone. Hey, you know that they do have that wild fork by my house in Encinitas, which I had to go to that one. I know I didn't realize it. You do. There's 11 so cow wild fork locations. It was a really good read other than you going, oh, I know, my bad. But it was kind of like the way you said it. What hell should I say it? I don't know. But when you say from animal to you, just it sounds like you guys are game of thrones fans. What are they doing? They're chopping animals up right in front of you. That's true. That is true. I mean, they put them over a little fire maybe. Well, yeah, they're not eating it raw. They don't freeze them. Well, imagine wild fork does. Imagine if Ned Stark before they cut his head off, said, hey, let's take this animal and flash freeze them. We're going to eat them during the cold winter. And they're like, yeah, well, you're not. Wack. Wack. Exactly right. I still don't know if I get like during the first season, I was craving telling Stephanie, hey, let's watch the next episode. We were squeezing it in to get these episodes in now. I'm like, yeah, I don't care. So for me, you're going, you're going on without it is what you're saying. No, I don't know if I want no, she's watched it several times. Oh, okay.
I don't know if I care to watch it again. Okay. So it took it took me to really fully be like, I got to watch the next episode, like third season. But I was in it after the first three episodes, I was hooked with this show. The characters got me everything. Well, the characters are all still going to get you. No, they're not. Yes, they cut off the head of the one guy. No, you're going to see, you're going to, you're going to grow to love certain characters. You're going to grow to hate certain characters. Yeah, the way we feel for Capi, if one day they just brought us sorted and cut his head off. Yeah, I don't know what we do here. Would we just move on? See, I mean, eventually, yeah, right. And then we move on to season two after that. I mean, we take some time. I mean, really give it a week. And then go back to it. Hey, listen, Ned Stark had all these kids and they're all going to become really important players as the seasons go on. All my kids would have to become important players if you whack me. Oh, what do you mean? Let's talk about one, a, which kid Johnson would be John Snow. I'm wearing the hat of his. No, John Snow. Joseph would have to be John snow. All right. You know, and I would say Julia, my little one,
she would become Arya. Okay. All right. Now who, what other offspring does Ned have? He's got, he's got one of the guys who's like one of the army leaders. I don't know what the daughter who never thanked you for anything. That's Jaden. Yeah. Yeah. She's the one who drove Yachtley crew, right? She, she, she was the limo driver for Yachtley crew. See how nice she was. Well, you kind of forced her. Well, I did sort of tell her she had to. Yeah. Right. That's true. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know how I feel about it. Well, I don't know. And let me tell you this. Yeah. Good. I don't know if I will watch any game of thrones this weekend. You have to for the birthday weekend. You have to. You got to get back into it. No, I might just go to my old stable of Columbus. Well, no, no, no, no. No, Columbus. Succession. That's all I need. Okay. So succession. I was late to succession, like you're late to game of thrones, but I wasn't this late. I mean, I was, I was like a year or so late. Your years and years late. Yeah. You, you have to say, I don't like dragons. No, that's the same thing that John Ireland said. He doesn't like, Oh, I don't want to be in the, and how he loves it. Yeah, there's a lot of nudity. He likes nudity. Oh, that's true. He's a nudity.
He likes the brothel scenes. Really? Why do you have to do that? What brothels? Fine word. What's wrong with brothel? Yeah, my character little finger. He's like the brothel guy. He owns a bunch of right now. Yeah. Yeah. He's going to bend it. That brother. Time for the don't sweat the smallest of talent of the day for Tuesday. September 15th, 2026. Become button proof. Or even when your buttons are pushed, come on, some laughing. All right. I can hear you. That's okay too, because it won't get you. It won't get to you very much. Push this button, huh? Push this. Push this. I don't know what the don't sweat the small stuff calendar even said today. You just read it. And I still don't know what it said. I'll read it again. She said, push this. Yeah. It's become button proof. If you desire a happy life, the idea is not to create a life where your buttons are never pushed. Instead, the goal is to create a state of mind where even when
your buttons are pushed, that's okay too, because it won't get to you very much. It's basically like even when someone's pushing your buttons, don't worry about it. Okay. Yeah, breathe dog. Yesterday. It's an expensive day. I'm not going to lie. But you know what? As I said, the Stephanie, when it was all over, I could be thankful for a lot of things. And that's how we got a look at it. It reminded me to watch the coffee. Now we got a small coffee mug in here. This I got at Sam Pines Country Club at Canterbury. Oh nice. And he suggested yesterday when I was going through all this. Why do you have a big mug in the studio with all your stuff? You have a little mug. A little mug with a lid. And I don't like to always use a lid. I'm actually more of a lidless guy. You're a lidless. I have been for many. Okay. Understood. But now put a lid on it. Okay. Time for the. What are we doing? Oh, the sellers advantage. What are we doing now? to the DRE 01915212. Happy two things real quick for the real deal. First things first a lot of people have asked me today's only Tuesday, but on Friday during the digital hour, Beto was in for George and we had on a young man from Orange County from Anaheim. His name is Nate Cornelli. And if you remember that conversation, he was going to run 100 miles starting at 4 p.m. on Friday in the La Jolla shore. So way, way, way south 100 miles south of downtown LA. And he was going to run 100 miles north and get to Anaheim Hills. And he was doing all of this to raise money for Alzheimer's. The Alzheimer's Foundation in Orange County. Well, I follow this kid's entire journey on social media. And when I tell his kid knocked it out of the park, when he got to Anaheim Hills, he looked so fresh. Anybody if you've ever known anybody who's run an ultra marathon? By the time they get done, their feet are mangled. They've made duties all over themselves. They've lost control of their stomach. You know, like this guy ran this 100 miles. Like as if he was,
I mean, like what was the character's name? Tom Hanks played a forest. It was like he was forest. Gump. Like I have seen that. All right. Yes. I've seen a couple of times. But it was like he was forest. Gump. He had people running with him all the way from La Jolla, all the way to Anaheim Hills. Everybody wanted to support this kid. And he got there and he looked fresh as can be. So I now have introduced this young man to an ultra marathoner, a superstar in the ultra marathon world, a guy who's one like the bad water ultra marathon at a couple of times. So now this guy, Nate Cornelie, raised all this money and thank you to everybody who contributed for Alzheimer's in Orange County. And great job, Nate. Congratulations. You rock this thing way to go, man. So for everybody that asked for the follow up, there you go. And the one last thing, yes, give them a kid around of applause. And the one last thing, humor me for a second, because this one's very self-serving. Today is my mother and father's 50 eighth anniversary. Congratulations to them. 58 years of marriage. That's crazy. That is amazing. Do you know what their wedding song was?
I don't. Okay. Good question. But 58 years. 58 years. I'm divorced. My sister's divorced. My niece is divorced. I mean, we all had these amazing role models of my parents who've been married for 58 years. And everybody in the next generation divorced. And by the way, that's everybody I know. Like my grandparents, both grandparents married till death. My parents married 58 years. Me, my sister, all my cousins. We all had these great role models of long-term marriages. We're all divorced. That all happened. My parents are still together. How many years are they together? Well, if I'm going to be 43, they're going to be 44 years in next June, June 20, June 20, 20, 27. Isn't that amazing? Yeah. Incredible. 58 years of marriage. Congrats. Congrats. Way to go, mom and dad. I think you and I are getting close in the divorce years to match that. I know. I know. My parents will get it on at the vision works. Oh, I know that. Capies, the cap ones. My parents will still get it on.
It's kind of weird for me though, like imagining my mom. It's like, yeah, yeah, or your dad. Like, this is not my dad. My dad is my dad. I can imagine it, you know, just not with my mom. You know what I'm saying? What's your father and mother's name? Charlie. I know Charlie and Shila. Charlie and Shila. They still get it on. So what will be there? Not to getting it on part. Well, the favorite dinner spot they'll go through tonight or my parents are doing something very weird at their age. They're both almost eating and they're moving. Oh, really? Yeah. And I don't really love the fact that they're moving, but they are. And so I don't know, man, I don't know what they're going to do tonight. I'll find out. I'll let you know, but I bet you they're going to get it on. All right, that's good to do it for Tuesday. It was a good show today, man. Yes, solid. We'll see you tomorrow for a windy Wednesday. I think windy will be back. We started 7 a.m. tomorrow morning. It is a live image of Tuesday presented by Providence.
I'll see you and noon with Mason and Ireland. And we'll see how many times we can make the mark. A wipe his face this afternoon. Maybe snap and tackle me until Travis not to say along the way. Did he say along the way? Yeah, I said a bunch of it. A long way. Yeah, I not today, not today, but on the show last week, I kept wanting it out to him. You know what? I would love to stop saying I say it all the freaking time. No, no, no, no, I say phenomenal. A lot. I keep by the way. I say by the way all the time. I hate saying by the way. I say scumbag a lot. Yeah, you say a lot of things a lot. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. We'll see you tomorrow morning.
