Apparently, whatever he was doing in pregame warmups, it's stuck because Odell Beckham, Jr., despite being released by the New York Giants recently, was signed by the Minnesota Vikings to their practice squad. So our friends listening on the Yalohorn of the Twin Cities, K-fan and Minneapolis, congratulations. You've got a brand new wide receiver. His name is Odell Beckham, and he had 19 snaps this season. So I think this is the most appropriate signing in the history of this show, and I'll tell you why. Why is that, Jonas? Lavaar was huge on the Odell Beckham, Jr., signing with the Giants because of the brand building. And this is some brand building here is a lot. And Lavaar. Brand leverage. Brand leverage. It's not about brand, like you guys try to talk about it. He might be the second coming of Prince there. He might be.

9:25Yeah, I mean, those dance moves. He's got dance moves. He's got a whole lot of energy. And his warmups, the way he catches the ball and looks at his hand and stuff like that. I mean, it is great for pregame. It really is. You know, people like it. Well, he is now a part of the Minnesota Vikings roster, at least on the practice squad right now. And Kevin O'Connell, the head coach, hold on. If he's on the practice squad, I mean, he's not active. I would assume he'll be made active. I can't imagine this is. I would assume he will be active. 12:30Vikings have some injuries. Justin Jefferson, obviously banged up. Jordan Addison's banged up. No word yet as to whether or not it's because he fell asleep in his car outside LAX again. But it's a little old man. Uh, Jordan. Well, hey, look, you know, people still, still over it. Um, so he's got a hamstring injury he's dealing with. The offense was just disgusting over the weekend, with, you know, just a feel goal fast against the Miami Dolphins who are the worst team. Uh, in the past 100 years in the NFL, it feels like. And so Minnesota had a need. They signed Odell Beckham, Jr. Kevin O'Connell's got some history with him. He was part of the Ram staff. Then OBJ was there when he won the Super Bowl back in 2021. And so Kevin O'Connell talked about another guy, by the way, known by his initials KOC, talked about the signing of OBJ yesterday. You know, I think, um, just, you know, being a little, you know, banged up, uh, you know, in that receiver room and, and, and just knowing how we can be a player to a way, uh, from,

13:33from needing to call upon guys to, to be elevated and, and make plays. And the fact that we can bring Odell in on our practice squad and start getting them acclimated to our offense. And, and obviously, I have a great history with him going back to 2021, spending a lot of time with him when he came in mid season and getting him ready to help us and just how impactful he was down the stretch of that season. Um, really great job by knowing his staff, you know, getting a player of Odell's caliber in here and just excited to get him going. Now, no, what's, uh, what's interesting about this is that the Super Bowl odds for the Vikings before the Odell Beckham Junior signing. And afterwards, uh, didn't budge. So I don't know if, uh, if that, you're a hater, man. I'm not hating. Hater. Yeah. You and Q Q's waiting to jump in and give his, his shade grenade. Like, y'all, why y'all shake grenades so early in the day, guys? Why y'all palin on OBJ, man? What are you talking about? I'm about to get to see what he's going to do there. I mean,

14:34once he gets the active roster, they bring him up and all that. But like, I mean, we didn't be talking about the fact he chose number nine, you know, oh, did he really? I didn't even see that. I didn't. Oh, wow. He swiped McCarthy's number. He didn't swipe it. It was there. You know, apparently it was available. But the question is, do they still have McCarthy on the back? Yes, just more, more, more, it deserves more credit. It deserves more attention. That was the only reason why I took the Vikings honestly. So there you go. And you've got a Minnesota to beat the bills, which right now on draft Kings, the exact result would pay out 130 to one. Oh wow. Yeah. So basically 10 bucks. When you a lear jet. So this is a huge, huge payday. And I don't win any other picks right. I don't get any other picks right. So maybe this is my one. 25:24A trade in the NFL yesterday following Lane Johnson's retirement. The Eagles have also seen another change in their offensive line. This time it's Cam Jergens the two-time pro bowl center who was traded to the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are sending a 2027 fifth round pick and a 2028 second round pick to the Eagles. They'll get Jergens and then a 2027 seventh rounder. Now for Baltimore since Tyler Lindorbaum left they've blown through like three centers. Everybody like one out for the year or the other two on IR so they clearly had a need. Jergens is actually currently in concussion protocol because he moved to guard against the Rams last week and got banged up a little bit so he's currently in the protocol. And so seems like how he Roseman doesn't miss a lot and I just wonder maybe he just sees this as an opportunity to get some more he kind of pointed

26:25to well. We got draft capital. We had a performance from another guy there that we liked a lot that you know it's Drew Kendall stepped in and and has played well and so now Baltimore gets and seemingly fills the need at center and then you've got the Philadelphia Eagles who are seeing more changes to their offensive line and I just wonder you know is this more of a and and filly looking at hey man we got to start thinking about long term we got to start thinking about the future Jergens is under center for a couple of minutes. You mean are they rebuilding? Is this the efforts to like lead you to believe they're going to rebuild? Tweak a little bit some tweaking moving forward. I don't does it need a full blown rebuild? I don't think it needs a full blown rebuild but this clearly the offense is left a lot to be desired in filly. Well, you just had your right tackle retire. You've got now a guy who's you know placed center guard whatever you want to point to here's no longer on your team. I mean what would you conclude?

27:26Tweak. I mean that's two of your main literally two of your anchor positions. If you don't have a great center or strong center if you don't have a dope tackle and I mean I guess you could say left tackle is I don't I don't think you can value left tackle blindside tackle anymore than the the frontside tackle anymore just because of the athleticism of all of the people that are past rushing these days. Those are your anchor positions center and tackles are your anchor positions. That's you to lose both of those and they're both pro bowl caliber players all pro caliber players. I don't know that that's a tweak my guy that's uh we have uh unless unless you already felt like you had guys that could fill the gap maybe laying knew that and maybe how he

28:31knew when he traded traded his center I mean trade account maybe that's what it is but until I see that which I I think this Eagles team is a struggling team now they almost won without a whole bunch of injured players but that doesn't sound like a tweak to me that that sounds like that's a little it's a little bit more extreme if you ask me. Um they've like the thing with Philly that I kind of I find kind of funny is yeah they did almost win that game and you can arguably probably should have won that game and they've won a lot of games over the past year plus and the offense has struggled seemingly the whole way through and I just wonder maybe this is just who they are with Jayland her to quarterback maybe this is just it because the coordinators changed AJ Brown is gone now say quans banged up I just I wonder if we saw the peak of Philly and that offense the best they

29:31could possibly play a couple of years ago when they won the Super Bowl and this just is what it is and this is how this is going to look for as long as as Jayland hurts is under contract and as you're starting quarterback because it seems like there's been a lot of changes around him and I just don't know what is really improved or what has really made a difference it just feels like the same offense that we've seen the past couple of years can I ask you guys this how high can they get in this year's draft and I know that might sound crazy but if you're planning for the future it I mean there's I think we came up with the conclusion that there's no harm in taking a first round quarterback with the level quarterback that is going to be in this draft how high does that do the Eagles pick in this year's draft are they are they positioning

30:32themselves to be able to bring in Jayland herts's eventual you know replacement could that be what this is I mean and do the same exact thing that the Las Vegas Raiders are doing right you use the number one overall pick he hasn't played a down a football so if that's the thought process and it seems to be working in Las Vegas right now why not situate yourself to get a high level quarterback in the draft in a draft year draft class that you feel like these are can't miss prospects why not but I think that would depend on how high they're they're choosing well they have to see the season goes I don't think they're going to be in striking distance you know based on their team like they're good enough to be a team that can make the playoffs obviously but they're also a team that could just miss and be in the middle of the pack so they would promise like I have to move up

31:34to get one of the top guys in next year's draft how far it wouldn't be it wouldn't be crazy far would it how far I mean I'd say well top half the draft I know I know we don't know definitively I know what you're saying I don't think they're going to be worse than them then they're going to be picking better than 14 I'd be surprised by if they were in the draft so there be a quarter back drop at 14 15 16 maybe but you're not getting the top guys you know those guys are going somewhere in the top five yeah it feels like if you were if you're looking at and stay like like a penny picket situation right he was the only first round quarterback taken that year and ended up being later in the draft didn't really work out and and maybe there's some reasons why in that particular draft class it wasn't a strong quarterback draft class this one will be a strong class of the problem is it'll be Jeremiah Smith and then three or four quarterbacks like they come off the board right away you know that's

32:39most likely what it's going to look like and if that's the case they're not in striking distance for it and everyone seems to think then and like P.O. like a trade-up dude trade-up it's like but you get a hope there's a team that doesn't need a quarterback that's drafting in that spot otherwise why the hell would they when they give up that spot you know why would they trade back if they you know need a guy or they're they're in question about a guy they don't know if they're going to be back up there again but between the combination of Drew Mestemaker Trudon and Chambles, Stancemore, CJ Carr, Archmaning, I don't know what he you know looks like Julian saying like there's a bunch of guys you get thrown into that conversation I even with that number I mean the last time we had five taken I believe Jay-Jama Carr through was the fifth taken if I'm not mistaken and he went 11 yeah there's and and when there's a run on one there's a run on two three four like they seem to come off the board pretty quick it was the same thing back in 2018 with the Baker Mayfield Josh Allen Sam Darnold Josh Rose and those guys all they

33:43are all off the board pretty quick yeah but Lamar Lamar last until the end of the draft in that particular case I mean here's what it says you know Jalen still has a contract where no one's moving on from him anytime soon it wouldn't be until 2020 edition where someone could actually move on from it the dead cap hits way too big he's got a contract that's honestly not that bad all things considered so I know we're talking a hypothetical here I just don't see it I just I think I think how he rose been knows when he needs to move on kind of rebuild reshuffle the deck and right now there's a lot of things you know up in the air but I do think this team has enough football left to kind of find itself be a playoff team and I don't think they're going to be in you know any position to be able to take one of these top quarterbacks like we're talking about so you got getting rid of getting rid of losing a big time offense alarming getting rid of your center does that to you Q does that maybe trigger or indicate how they feel about the future

34:45Jalen hurts I mean if if you value him I mean and grant it again there could be guys stepping up that are just as good if not better that that step in and then this is you know it's just a conversation for for S's and giggles but just say for the sake of saying getting rid of or all pro potential I mean is laying a hall of fameries a potential hall of famer right that's that's a potential hall of famed name that rings then you get rid of you trade away your your center does that say like long term how you feel about your quarterback I mean why would you get rid of why would you get rid of the center and I know you have nothing to do with the tackle retiring but man would you would you letting get away would you just be like you know like I know as mental health lane I know it but can you stick it out for it man like wouldn't you bag and plea for him to finish out

35:45the year I think they probably did but I think they understood that there's more going on so yeah they were pretty and there was also conversations during the offseason about whether or not he was going to come back this year anyways now Drew Kendall's a guy that was taken in last year's draft I think fifth or six around out of Boston College he's been filling in a center and they've liked what he's done so that kind of led to this decision like hey we trust that we can give it over to him we get draft capital and return and then we part ways with cam jurgens if we're looking at this upcoming draft and you're saying there's what five or six quarterbacks that are going to go in the first round and you know maybe early in the top half of the first round so the teams that we know are going to be in the quarterback market Tennessee Miami the jets Arizona that's four and then you've got teams that may be in the quarterback market New Orleans even though Prisco likes you know what he's seen from Tyler Schuck and then you know who knows with with a team like Houston who

36:50knows with one of these other teams that are currently set to pick near the top of the draft you would assume that they would win a few more games and they would fall back it just it seems like Philly's going to be just on the outside of the top tier of quarterbacks if they were going to go in that direction so are they sold on Jalen Hertz I think they have to be I think in basically contract they're giving them they're not getting out from an ether for a couple years this season and private two after that it's just it's too much it's too big of an undertaking I can't see them doing that and I don't know if there's a trade partner at this juncture anyway so that's he's not going to have to have a trade no he is but again if you're a team and you're resetting and you have a big draft class where five guys six guys could go in the first round would you not take the draft pick you're going to take Jalen Hertz and take on all that money in the contract with somebody somebody argue you take the proven commodity you could but again it's it's more the financial structure of it too you know you're going to pay that much more for a guy's already under contract
