Uk: Серед Карпатських гір, де небо вкривало краплини снігу і мороз хрустів під ногами, стояла затишна гірськолижна хата.
En: In the midst of the Karpaty Mountains, where the sky was covered with snowflakes and frost crunched underfoot, stood a cozy hirsʹkolyzhna khata.

Uk: Вогники святкових гірлянд мерехтіли в вікнах, додаючи теплого затишку всередині.
En: The lights of holiday garlands twinkled in the windows, adding a warm coziness inside.

Uk: Саме тут зібралися друзі: Олександр, Катерина і Богдан.
En: It was here that friends gathered: Oleksandr, Kateryna, and Bohdan.

Uk: Вони приїхали зустріти Різдво в цьому чарівному місці.
En: They came to celebrate Christmas in this magical place.

Uk: " Богдан теж не стримався від сміху: "Тільки не падай, гілочка важить більше, ніж ти думаєш".
En: Bohdan couldn't help but laugh either: "Just don't fall; that sprig weighs more than you think."

Uk: Але Олександр був налаштований рішуче.
En: But Oleksandr was determined.

Uk: Він обрав нелегку трасу, ігноруючи застереження Катерини.
En: He chose a challenging slope, ignoring Kateryna's warnings.

Uk: "Я покажу всім, як можна круто кататися", – говорив він.
En: "I'll show everyone how cool skiing can be," he said.

Uk: Від першого руху все йшло не так погано, проте середина схилу принесла їй несподіванку.
En: The first movements were not so bad, but the middle of the slope brought a surprise.

Uk: Баланс, здавалося, залишив його, гілочка злетіла, і Олександр упав прямісінько в замет.
