About this episode
Heatwave like conditions are expected to persist well into next week in Clare.
Although a low-level alert for high temperatures expired this morning, Met Éireann is forecasting highs of up to 28 degrees this Thursday and of up to 25 degrees until next Wednesday.
The National Forecaster is also expecting some localised thunderstorms over the coming days, while yellow level high temperature alerts remain in place in Limerick, Galway, Cork, Kerry, Mayo and Sligo.
Met Éireann Meteorologist Holly O'Neill has been telling Clare FM's Daragh Dolan that they'll be monitoring conditions here very closely.
