Today Josh and I are bo on the bench boost for game week 7. We'll take a quick look at how our WorldCards got on in game week 6. We'll cover some things generally that were bo, I would say moderately upset about what

3:06critical but yeah Josh it it is really fine margins. I think overall I don't think I'm upset like the team I I while carried in is it had to be done. I mean I had five or six flags going into game week six so first off the wild card had to be pulled one way or another. Me personally you know come that first week of the international break I told myself there was nothing that could happen or we could hear from anyone that would change my mind that he'd be in that start in 11 you know just on Jabil Anzo and his record of um false information if you want to call it that or even just him in training for it was it it felt too good to be true for me and I was kind of happy looking at the bench boost in game week seven that you know I need someone who's going to play but of course he goes straight in and bags a brace. 4:08press conference a few days ago I still didn't think he would start so um even though he said he'd been training whatever I just thought okay well that's good then that means that he'll probably play 20 minutes 30 minutes if we need him but in my head I was like if we go three touring near lap against Bournemouth which we obviously did I was like I don't really see a point in risking a Jail Pedro especially if he's just come back from an injury but then again I see him in the starting lineup and I just think you knew try man I said I said to my mates I was so I benched I'll talk there's a player we'll talk about it in a sec there's a player I bench and I said if you want easy money this weekend put some money on him and put some money on Jail Pedro scoring and they both scored so I'm just like it's classic but I think now my we'll get onto transfer plans I'm sure but I now just panic in thinking how do I get Jail Pedro back in my team like that's now where my head's at and I was hoping that he would probably get 20 minutes this week and then maybe a start next week and hopefully Everton's stubborn defense would keep us out but listen it didn't happen and now it's a foot to the pedal trying to get trying to get him back in

6:15I've had Pascoe Grossam midfield who was nice to have some returns from him he got six points Harvey Barnes is obviously playing Monday night as well Saka captain which was really frustrating we'll talk about that a bit more miss at the end I'm sure he was my captain and got me four points Kevin Sharda my boy since the start of the season he I'm fortunate when I've injured with one point Morgan Rogers was my only real proper return with nine points Erling Harlan still yet to play and Gonzalo who missed an absolute just a couple of just golden opportunities didn't they and then on my bench was DeCoiper who got a whopping 15 points so that was really lovely that yeah yeah let's start at the start before the game we've even started in Josh so you were on the WorldCode what we're only true to tall presses up the cropper and I think I texted you straight away after the deadline I was like oh and then of course then we went into the arson game so let's cover Bordos your decision-making on the cropper or haul over the cropper then and then secondly you know how you're feeling about

7:18Gabriella Califuri Saka it was a frustrating watch for sure yeah I mean to be honest the DeCoiper thing I know this is going to sound really mad but I didn't think about it too much I was almost so stressed about what players what 15 players to have but I thought more about that than I did who I'm starting in my like 11 so it kind of got to like a few minutes before the deadline I was like oh I've not even thought about like my bench here obviously it was obvious I was gonna bench Van Hecker and Kintiski that was probably the only obvious thing but I really had a decision with DeCoiper and Kustulas because that sunlon fixture was good so to be honest it was just the thing of like I didn't give it too much thought and actually I know hindsight's a wonderful thing but if I did think about it a bit more then an obvious one was sharded to put on the bench and I know it's easy saying that the villa are a decent in our team under Emory and that was an away fixture so that should have been what I did but listen it's it it's part of FPL the week before I last minute changed Thomas to my second sub and put Slater as my first sub

8:22Jalpejo did it play Slater came on for two points if I'd have just kept and followed my gap then Thomas would have come on with nine so I look at that as the seven points swing last week on my bench and a 15 points swing this week if you add those to to my overall total I'd be I'd be I'd be quite a happy chap on this stream right now where it's like right now I'm on the opposite so it's frustrating Gabrielle let's moving on to Arsenal um Gabrielle just didn't look threatening at all from set pieces Arsenal just don't look that threatening from set pieces the sort of five or six games that I've seen them play this season and that's the reason I've got Gabrielle in so that was a real worry for me and he also just looks his passing was shocking I don't know if you watched the game the amount of times he passed the ball to one of their players was absolutely wild so that doesn't help from a BPS perspective as well we know that completed passes are a big are a big factor with that so yeah I am a little bit concerned with Gabrielle but I feel like you're probably the same right we need to give him at least a couple more weeks to try and get

10:26needs a bit of work and I'm surprised as they didn't come on earlier to play on the left and it boggles me and yeah I just think it was for straight and watch for sure particularly Saka like you said with that chance in the 90th minute I was very very frustrated you know going up until the end of the game I was like hold on here he's going to do it isn't he and then he have all the time in the world and Saka's off it as well and but overall yeah I just don't think Arsenal were great I actually give a lot of credit to Leeds also though because we've seen you know a few teams cause Arsenal problems at this point and Leeds were fantastic in the first 45 minutes and anyone could have told you that Leeds were a good side-goatting to this game and defensively in particular and they were impressive at points and just ran out of steam towards the end when Arsenal brought on some more firepower where whether it's Bruno Gamores or even Yachtgrill I don't think made a difference but you know he's always a handful so yeah overall disappointed I want to say on Gabrielle though like you said look it is really the longer run what you know why we're here when people still have concert at what 3.5 million cheaper I think it is

14:42promoted clubs it's philum they're really not a very good team um I mean but then again you flip it and you go there's those fine margins Gonzalo could have got two goals yesterday he definitely should have got one so I am I've got no real choice but to keep them man to be totally honest like especially with the Kevin Sharder injury I don't think he's going to be back for a few weeks so that's a big issue for me and Andrew because you know we've got bench booze coming up so it almost forces our hands with a transfer but I do regret going for the philum assets but listen they've got whole they've got a chance so I think we've got to remain optimistic until at least the Holland commentary game right out of the way yeah for me everything is relative like like we were saying sure philum didn't do it and it was a poor performance and like we said we could have had more from Gonzalo and look I'm looking at that Leno spot I'm not too displeased because again Ray is there for what 1.5 more same amount of points really I know obviously a much much better defense but we really only have the philum assets for our bench booze and I'm more than happy to

15:47ship them off ASAP so overall this is a point and like I said but I don't read into it too much I think it is an opportunity I'm willing to take up on again fine margins and I know we didn't go our way this time around but hold it home I don't mind at all to be honest and be interesting to see how they play against Everton today but Josh lastly before we move on from your team and look at your bench booze and then we'll take a look at my team and in my bench booze let's quickly touch on the brighten lads again you did bench the boyper but let's just say overall you still picked him you still think he's a good pick you haven't versus Chris Palza home first off two players that are absolutely demolishing their underlying stats getting returns almost every single week and the corporate is not only returning but it's at a ridiculous rate playing at left wing if you're a manager without him you know are you someone that is going to be quick to go get him or do you think you look at those features on the roads and Chris Palza home Liverpool and City and see his ship that sailed no I mean I don't think so no they're

16:50they're defying the odds every time they play at the moment they you know they'd be asking the three-neil they'd just be sundall and two-neil after having 10 men for 40 minutes or whatever it was so they're clearly a really solid team at the moment and I just think sometimes the obvious picks are the way to go and the koipa is an obvious pick he the great thing with him is like he's playing left wing and I just don't know why hurts will it would change that right now he's scoring he's playing well it's not just like he's getting lucky goals and playing you know playing average league throughout the game he is playing really well like every time I see him he looks like a really good accomplished established left winger even though he's historically a leftback so I think he's a player that you should still look to bring in if you can because if they don't keep a clean sheet against that's in villa sorry against Liverpool and Man City then he's got a chance at getting a goal or an assist and I think Brighton will score against Crystal Palace Liverpool Man City and Brent for coming up I just think I'll score in each of those games and he's

17:51got a good opportunity to to be involved in that so I would look to keep him or at least bring him in if you don't have him because Stoulas is someone that's on my bench bench boost for game week 7 I am a little bit worried about now to be honest I think he only got taken off a little bit early because they went down to 10 men and they wanted to kind of you know strengthen up a little bit but if he doesn't play against Crystal Palace it's a nightmare for me because you know I need I need I need a bench boost to do well because that's why I've spread the funds out and haven't maybe got a cold parmer in on top of Sackle which I would have ideally done because I've had to spread the funds on the bench so Brighton are great assets I think having a triple up on them is absolutely the way to go moving forward yeah for me I don't mind if you want to not force the the quiver move just yet I actually look at Voskovich probably a better transfer at this point he's someone who's just tick away so nicely comment or his deadline you know oh you had a decision on whether or not to go with Voskovich what had in my team for three weeks and I was just thinking I'm always playing

18:54the long run here and let me go chase some short-term value and the cropper is absolutely that the Crystal Palace at home game you're going to be terrified for if you if you don't own them but from then on it doesn't seem reasonable for me to bring them in with those fixtures and Yan Kube-Mint and you know Mitova on the horizon after another international break in a few weeks so I think just the bell you could hold off but again if he goes and does it again for us Crystal Palace you won't be overly surprised but Josh that was your team and score so far of course you've Lewis Hall and Harry Barnes to play with Erling Hall and with Noah Armband again you could still rectify some points here in comparison to my team which will take a look at in just a second but before we do that let's quickly take a look at your bench blue 7 and how you're set up you said you weren't really confident with Castellus on the bench and of course you've Kevin Shaddy to deal with speak to me and belt your bench blue 7 Yeah so the bench blue looks you know it looks good it should be good obviously the Kevin Shaddy injuries a real issue because my I wanted to roll this week and then get Jal Petro back in

20:00for game week where are we game week 8 but obviously you know as in use to transfer us to do that not spend any points but it looks like I'm going to have to spend points unfortunately in game week 8 to get Jal Petro in because I don't see a World where Shaddy plays that shoulder injury I think would be is going to knock him out for a few weeks obviously I'm just assuming that I don't know anything I haven't heard anything but let's assume that he's not fit I have a decision to make with who I bring in I only have 0.5 in the bank so I've got I can bring in maybe a tavernier against Sunderland but Bournemouth didn't look great against Chelsea although they did have a few chances I'll have to seriously think about it but Castula's is an issue for me I think just because Ruta came on and did really well for Brighton in the sort of in his little cameo that he had Brighton are playing Europe on Thursday so whoever starts you know I'm sitting there thinking do I want Castula to start that game and do well that's probably the best outcome

21:02but if because if he gets a rest that's a positive because then maybe he'll increases chances of starting on the weekend but all of a sudden if Ruta starts on Thursday in Europe plays really well maybe he forces his way into the team so I've got a few decisions to make man I mean I don't know what you think when you immediately look at my bench boost and you think with Shaddy no Jal Petro do you think it's worth me downgrading Shaddy upgrading Castula's to Jal Petro do you think that's an option or do you think that would be silly I'd need to see the fine details and who you could get in that Shaddy position and how much money you have in the bank overall I look at that and I suppose the reverse move you could do is Gomez and that would save you what 1.2 and that would leave you to 1.7 in the bank 1.7 from Castula's who's 5.5 so that's not worth 2 or 7.3 that's not enough just but I do see the the tall process there and I just wonder can you hold off for one more week without taking a hit um before the season even kicks off

25:16talk and point for us is Jail Pedro we look at some of the underlying data for Chelsea I think it was in the round one XG and Bournemouth actually beat him in terms of XG and five goals getting for Chelsea some phenomenal finishes in there and Bournemouth did look threatening that point I mean I've silvered in my own team when I thought he was always in the round the opposition box and he could have had or very close to having an FPL assist so in terms of Chelsea overall do you think going for it now that if anyone has tripled up on the Chelsea you can be quite confident then you're actually free-flowing and happy days for you yeah I mean I think triple-up is it's what I had before I wildcard it you know before I wildcard it this week I had Palmer, Pedro and Rogers which is quite funny when I think about taking Palmer and Pedro out but I think Rogers and Pedro's enough you know Palmer had a couple you know one of his assists yesterday was from winning a free kick I mean you know that is so rare like you know Jordan Henderson scored

26:21an incredible free kick that's one in one in 50 of those for Jordan Henderson went in yesterday you know so one of you know and all of a sudden if you take away that second assist for Palmer he finishes on five points which for a 9.7 million is not great so I think Rogers will always tick along I think he'll always get four five six seven eight points I don't think he's got huge monster halls in them but for 7.67 million for me he's he's phenomenal values so I think I think Jard Pedro is an absolute must I have but I've always said that the reason you know the reason I didn't have him in my wildcard team this week is not because I don't think he's an essential player he is but I just didn't think he would play so I am going to look you know I could do of another bloody wildcard try to get them back in so I don't know man I maybe Jordan Henderson's the way to go maybe I just do Charlotte a Hendo I'm obviously joking I'm obviously joking imagine to see you in the Josh and this is a good question from from Vellan and definitely Sultan

27:24people are going to roll into and the game week is not finished and of course there is Europe under horizon he says why are we forcing the bench boost I'm in a similar position I've also World Card in game week six the plan is to bench boost in seven and I also have Kevin Shade I might postpone and save some transfers for me Vellan I feel like you know even with Shade if you have a full 14 fit with some of the fixtures in how they land I don't think you're going to have a better opportunity after back of the wildcard I mean you can't not play the spurs assets with commentary I find it very hard not to play the bright and lad what Chris Apalus at home and overall your team just looks you know 14 15 men strong again some more difficult fixtures in there maybe for a new castle who who we've not seen play it or even Shade who you had but I still feel like it's a good week to bench boost and let's bring up my game week six scores so far again it's not too much better Josh with only one really exception but to quickly name it out for anyone who's listening it is Leno Angles the trees of aco Gabrielle Califuri the Croixberg the foreign

28:28material is Rogers gross sacco diamond and Shade the tree of top is Barry who's yet to play Erling Hand who's yet to play and Gonzalo the foreign bench is Kinski Affen Gruber I went down Mohammed Kudus route and Silver for Bournemouth first off just to touch off the things that we haven't talked about them so I went silver Josh which is a slight bit deviated from you I don't think Bournemouth were particularly great overall and of course the air view or as well but I think at points I did see you know from a gold trip point of view silver might be the worst of ones and when I look at the underlying data maybe not as bad as the score line suggested and this is Chelsea which we do think is you know the most free flown attack and league now that is pure copium I do understand that the other side of it is he only hit five DEF CON versus Chelsea which I don't know how to feel about and you know overall I don't think I'll have too many worries going into game week seven and elsewhere in the team then we've already touched on Morgan Rogers

29:30who talked about Brighton and we also talked about Fulham I've got after him and Gruber he hit DEF CON like we said I actually think I'm quite happy holding on to him in hull I benched him for game week six which you know I didn't mind at all and Muhammad Kudos which is another deviation from our team as Josh I actually think and this would be my opportunity to speak about Spurs how we quite often do this time around it's a bit more optimistic I would like to say and I think generally I knew what I was getting myself into getting a Spurs asset I think I seen enough to be a bit more confident going into the bench who was in game week seven just on the coolest pick because you laughed at me last week Josh and roughly so I can completely understand that from an objective point of view you know that is a crazy move to do you have the opportunity to wirecard bringing all these players who've done well since the start of the season or have more roots to points 100% and for me it's just not the type of man I am I'm happy to take a risk I thought he was going to

30:31go straight back into the Spurs team not start the primarily game in nine months and he does go straight back in after three weeks off I thought he did look impressive at points him and Savio were a good watch and Spurs in that first 40 minutes Josh I don't know if you got to catch the game but we're very very impressive and you could you know combine both things you know it'll look poor and Spurs put them under a lot of pressure but yeah I do look at that commentary at home game on the bench boost and I do think it's a good opportunity again you didn't quite get more than 70 minutes but I don't think I mind that and they were I think it's a big enough break between game week six and seven four Spurs because they play on Monday night I could be wrong with that but I do look at that commentary game and after what I've seen with Spurs quite confident holding on to coolness and I'm happy I don't of course going to bench them in game week eight with Chelsea away and then he goes on a really nice run so I'm hoping Spurs can get that click I think the performance was really good and enough for me to be happy with coolness overall then 50 points I think it has the opportunity to be a red arrow I'm currently on a 600k green arrow of course Maranque is not

36:49seventy two the only thing with him is he's tavanier in game week five against Liverpool played seventy four minutes and against Chelsea played seventy two what's that because what's the seventy two minute Chelsea because they were really probably four one down at that point and I think maybe the manager thought well what's the point we might as well save our best player right now we can't see it you know can't have him getting an injury um so yeah I mean tavanier's the obvious one right he's pretty much the same point points as um you know value as shard i mean is there anyone else that we're missing is there anyone that sort of ping potentially I could look at because I'm in the same position as you but I don't want to put I don't want to have double full of attack in so Lafay is an option he could be a good pick but because he is on penalties obviously but then again sundall and looks so bad against Brighton um I mean but then again Lafay's run is born with leads and commentary so for me it would be between Lafay and tavanier I think if you're on that you would you agree yeah it is difficult that position and just to touch on you know tavanier in
