On April 18th, a Green Party candidate running an upcoming local elections in Newcastle Pontine has a company convicted of environmental vandalism. Muhammad Solomon directs and co-owns phantom properties, which admitted burning heaps of wood in a makeshift incinerator made from a skip. This broke the Environmental Protection Act, and the firm got hit with a fine of 8,507 pounds to cover costs, on penalties. The illegal burning happened while they converted a grey-too-listed mansion, called Pendour Hall, into luxury seven bedroom homes, complete with a, wellness center, pool, gym, and sauna. Inspectors found the massive skip, big enough for 100 bin bags, badly fired damage from repeated use to cut expenses. Local leaders are fired up. Newcastle City Council's deputy leader called it straight up environmental vandalism that robs people of clean air. Labor MP, Chi Onwura slammed the Greens for hypocrisy, especially after they push for

a clean air act, and questioned their candidate vetting. Meanwhile, more green hopeful space heat. One deputy leader in Lewisham used racial slurs against top politicians. In Newcastle, a university professor candidate posted support for the pro-scribe group Palestine Action, sparking a Northumbria police probe. Another in Bradford spoke at a vigil for Iran's Ayatollah Kaminay. The Greens say their investigating mismatches with their values, note their opposition to certain prescriptions, and frame some actions as anti-war. Protest. This wave of scrutiny hits as elections near spotlighting their candidate choices.
