A list-nuff production. That's what it gives us. The Collingwood Clubcast. Did I triple-m footy fans? Quick one before we start. This is a clubcast. A brand new podcast made just for fans of each AFL club. If you're a pies supporter, you can subscribe to the weekly Collingwood Clubcast in the description or find your team's show via link tree, which is in the description as well. On the show today, did Carlton try to poach fly from the pies? Nick Deicos gets the ultimate praise. And Jamie Elliott opens up about baristas and dog biscuits. But first, Harry Perryman joins triple-m footy fresh from that big win over his old Giants team mates. That special guest in Harry Perryman, who is joining us this afternoon, Pence.

How are you going after that win against your old side? Yeah, it was also a really good win by the boys. Just a grind, pretty much all-game. It was good to hope it went up there in the last quarter and keep a few goals. Well, it wasn't a grind, the first quarter. The first quarter was up and back. It was free-flowing, footy, and it was good fun. What was said at quarter times, if I want both coaches, I reckon, made an adjustment and said, might be getting played a little bit too quick and slowed it down a bit, is it? Yeah, it felt a little bit. We knew if we could chip it around a bit on them, their defense would probably fall asleep a little bit through the midfield, so we kind of went to that and we just had to slow them down. We had to cover the corridor. That was a big priority going into the game and I thought we did that pretty well at times. I thought you did it exceptionally well and I guess coming off the back of a 13-day break, we have to ask the question, what did you do because everyone did look relatively fresh coming into today? I went fishing for a few days, so I completely switched off, went down the coach, so it was really good. It was a bit weird having the boy early on in the year, but you make the most of it while you can, so it was good. I want to ask a question about young Oscar Stan, or 22-year-old Oscar Stan, who came in

for his game, or first game today. He was absolutely outstanding as a ruck. What's it been like having a different sort of feed in that middle? Yeah, it was awesome. I'm just having that big tall target down there to kick too. We know he's such a good mark and he's pretty good at ground level as well, so and some of his centre-based stuff is awesome, so he's up. He's going to be awesome for him. You got any nicknames? What do you roll with around the club for the big fella? It's pretty boring, don't you? It's just big steamer. Big steamer, yeah. Yeah, okay. The other part of the club that was really good defensively, you stood up, there were times when the Giants had momentum, they were getting a fair few entries, but again the back six and seven really held up, it's obviously something that seemed pride to themselves on, it's something you can really build on going forward this year and can be a point of difference. Yeah, 100% at back ones are awesome, just so much trust in all the boys, so much experience, having how in Darsie back as well, they're only going to get better at the more games they play, so we're just a solid unit down there and we probably have to ask about Darsie, so we know he went off, he looked like he had the tight hammy, he came back out, but he was grimacing, every time he was kicking the footy it was, he was grabbing and he wasn't moving freely,

but he did really well to stay out there, what was your understanding of conversations with him, did you have to try and sort of keep talking to him, how was that all working, because he was battling a bit. Yeah, I wasn't really too sure what was going on there, I think he's probably a couple of niggas on the two shore, but hopefully he can pull up or out of the game and he can be ready to go next week. And the other one that we've all got our sights on is Scott Pendlebury, obviously he came off, I think it was late in that third or fourth quarter, just with a bit of Achilles tightness. Has there been much talk amongst the group in the team and the club just around his big milestone game? Not really too much, just yet, probably have the next couple of weeks, we'll probably start talking about it a little bit more, I think it's just around the corner, not too sure what game it's against, but yeah, we'll have to get a bit of memorabilia off him and we're like, what's so good one though. Well everyone seems extremely humble here at the Pires, now I had a little birdie just whisper and tell me that you're all of a sudden posting on TikTok, now you mentioned your fishing trip before, is it true that you've posted a fishing TikTok? Yeah, yeah, it's not really me, but I thought you know what, I'll give it a go, give it

a go. What's your handle, let everyone know? I think it's just Harry's home, he's pretty boring, my partner, she's sitting all up, she's big TikTok around, but there's a lot of fishing videos out there, so I actually get pretty hooked on it, so yeah, yeah, it's good, tell us about your fishing, I know nothing, but where do you go fishing, what do you like to catch? I'll just go around here in the bay. Yeah, you're right, snap our screen, whiting, whatever you want, very, very good, it's good fun, love it. Nice last one, the Giants boys, still got a lot of mates over there, any bands or anyone sort of tovy to have anything to say, or pretty quiet today? Pretty quiet, yeah, pretty quiet, last time we played them last year, we got four flocked out pretty leafy, it was good to get our one, but it felt real good. Yeah, our bow down, your boys played terrific, you were sensational, as always, rock solid and Big Oscar Sting stole the show with these performers, so well done, and thank you for joining us on Triple and Footy, thank you very much. The dead set legends are back on Triple and Melbourne on a Saturday morning. Kate McCarthy, Xander McGuire and Isaac Smith dissected that Marvel Stadium victory.

Last night at Marvel Stadium, the pies by 33 points, pretty dominant victory really for them at Marvel over the GWS Giants. Nick Dacos was everywhere, 36 and kicked two goals too, and Tim membery four goals as well. If you missed it, here's a little snapshot of how it sounded on Triple and Footy. The pies and the Giants in town, they pick it up, the pies, ambled it a goalie, to go into La Pinsky. La Pinsky, neat brawl, it's been marked by the stay, no one on the mark, so he runs in on open goal. Skits it all on the ground, and Davey says, yes, yes, yes, yes, beautiful knock on the memory. Memory around the corner, he's second goal. Colin has got their fourth goal on fire. Colin Wood, out of the center, La Pinsky's got an ambastic Dacos, Stelly's from 40, sums it up, and the Superstar puts it through for the pies. Soren goes, pies, magnificent at Marvel. Oh, what a way to start the weekend. What a way to start the weekend. I came here with a little spring in your step. Yeah. As if I'd have my morning in the corner, so I'm glad they won for the sake of the show. 33 point win for the pies, couple of casualties though, which we'll walk through now.

The past and the present skippers, Pendles and Darcy Moore both, both out of the game towards the end. Mori sort of battled his way through it, Pendles out in the third quarter. Pendles is Achilles' tartness, so seven news cameras at the Aimee Park Scans caught him going in about 30 minutes ago, so he's straight in on the Saturday morning to see what's wrong with him. Mori on seven's Mitch Cleary had the latest on Bobby Hill on Wednesday's rush hour. So he's back at training. I think Collingwood's a little bit more optimistic than they were two weeks ago around his fitness. I think he's come back in better, Nick than maybe what they're expecting. Sorry, Monteveri on your station, champ. Yes, seven. He looked good, didn't he? Yeah. And he's laughing. Yeah, the great thing. He's hugging the players. He's laughing around the boys. Exactly right. So today is one month exactly until Anzac Day. One month. He's going to need at least two or three weeks of full training. I think he's going to need a couple of games in the VFL. Anzac Day might be a bit early, but I think he's in the frame to play. I was thinking maybe two or three months, but they may be talking four to six weeks now.

It hasn't been a great week for our old rivals, and Caroline Wilson revealed on the agenda setters the Blues link to Craig McCray. Um, for full club we know last year that the Graham Wright, the new CEO of the club, approached or via someone else, approached Craig McCray. What is even more worrying and more ominous for me now, Craig, is that last week the Blues executive went on a media offensive. President Rob Presley, CEO, Wright, spoke to the chief footy writers of the two newspapers. They did the media rounds yesterday. Actually, we listened to what Rob Presley had to say, and then I'll continue. We want to win 40 games. We want to make finals, but we will, you know, we will have our moments this year where an individual result won't reflect the structural and cultural work that we're doing. I can't see it going much further for Michael Voss, his contractors only been guaranteed into the 2026 season. The last time those sort of media briefings went on, and I attended one of them, was the former president, Mark Lajuta Che, and his then CEO, Steven Trigg.

I think one of the, I think the list manager, Steven Silvani, might have been there too. There was no Mick Maltowski. There was no Michael Voss at any of these media briefings. And Mick Maltowski has gone in five or six weeks after those media briefings. Are you saying you think the struggle will last the season? The club are painting a future for the public without Michael Voss. They're the ones doing all the interviews at the moment, and that to me is the most ominous sign of all. So, Carrots North, Adelaide on the first day night, Collingwood on the first day night, Frio on the round seven. They are prime time games against good opposition. What happens if they drop it to North? Are you suggesting there's a month time frame on this? I feel that way. I don't know who would take over as caretaker coach of the Carton Football Club. At the moment, I guess the most senior and favoured person there is a new assistant, Josh Fraser. There was a big overhaul last year of coaches and footy staff at the Carton Football Club. But I think the time has come. We know Craig McCray was approached. We also know the Graham Wright as a history of going for underdeveloping.

Not high profile coaches, but I think well with so many coaches, we're out of work at the moment. Like, out of work and wanting to coach you in like Longmore and Henkley, I can't see them not looking at you. What doesn't make sense is why would you make, so they made all of that change in the off season. So, assistant coaches, recruiting manager, Brad Lloyd moved on in the last couple of years. Why would you make all of that change if you were going to then jump within three minutes? I think partly, at the end of last year, they were a shell-shocked and fairly battered and torn apart footy club. Key players had left. Not just one, but many of them led by Charlie Kuno, a dreadful end to the season. I think there was a view that they weren't aiming for a flag this year anyway. Do the right thing by Michael Voss, particularly when they couldn't get McCray. Earlier on the agenda setters, Nick Rewolp showed how Nick Deikos is the template for how teams should use their superstars. Ah, let's start with my men, then Hutch Buku, Kamis, A-Minus. I know Kane Lutz here at the seats.

I'm keeping my own. We called it Friday night, judgment day. Last week on the agenda setters. You asked for a big effort, you got an A-Minus? We did, he's defending, he's keeping it simple, and the dogs look strong behind the ball because of it. Jack Higgins, he kicked a couple, but he gets a C-Minus, and I'll tell you why. When you've got NAS, wide open, asking for the ball, you don't treat him like a telemarketer and decline the call. You give it to him. Give him the ball. Give it to him. And then this happens. I guarantee you, Nick Deikos is getting that ball in a collingwood game. Give it NAS the ball, he's wide open. Got to be better. We wrap up with Jamie Elliott getting grilled by JB and Billy about coffee shop breakups and Beckyard renovations. Good job, they're one of the most bums on seats, buyers in the competition. It's the high-flying goalkeeper, Jamie Elliott. As far as the way, it went quite well. Ah! What the hell is it? What? Jamie Elliott in the gold square, takes a hit. Here we go.

We got all sorts of hang time. No, why? Sing it in the pocket. Bobby Hill has started. And Elliott! Oh, thank you, Brian. And Jamie Elliott. Jamie Elliott is the only targeting side 50. Can he take it? He can. The side of the guy. The kick is a high-flying. The high-flying goalkeeper. The high-flying goalkeeper. Bill. Yes. The kick after the saw. Yeah. And the massive Anzac Day hanging. We're about five metres apart. Oh, I know you do. The same part of the G. Love Anzac Day. How's it taken this this long to have you in Jamie Elliott? By the way. That's a good question. I think last time I was in it was about 12 years ago. I would have been in it. Well, that was a paid gig. Was it? You know what I mean? No one's offered me money to do this anymore. That's probably the first thing. Exactly. Well, how are you? I'm great. You're good. Yeah. How are you boys? Well, well, well. Do you know you were 11th on the goal-kicking at the Collingwood Football Club? All time. All time, Jim.

On 350. Okay. The next one up. BT on 371. Oh, wait. So 22 more goals. You've got to get past BT. I've got to get past it, don't I? Exactly. Bloody over. Oh, that's phenomenal. I didn't know that. Yeah. So you don't make your test out. That's a good little stat. There you go. Mark of the year. We need. Yes. We need another mark of the year. Can you still jump? I can still jump, but I'm trying. No. I've taken a couple and I don't get nominated. Well, I don't win it. Well, that one over Ben McCoy. Yes. That had to be a mark of the year. Who won it that year? Bob won it. Oh, Bob's not like that. That was good. Yeah, it was no win. When you won out on a great big monster of a defender. Can you go on the panel? Yeah, I'm going to. I couldn't believe that. I remember watching. Well, I didn't play in Bob's game, that North Melbourne game. And I was sitting on the couch watching it. And I thought, that was a good mark. And I go, oh, he might beat me. No, no. That's funny story, because that was before they had the new prize money and the velocity points. Yeah. So I was like, oh, I'm going to pump him up, push him out. I've won Mark of the year before.

He can win at this time. And then they were like, oh, no. Now we're going to change it. We're going to give you a 50k and mean velocity points. Yes. That's stuff, Bob. No, no, no. Exactly. That's kind of coming into my bank. Exactly. Bloody right. But I didn't win. Prelim last year, didn't you? Yeah. We had that in the call. Check the lines. But it doesn't count. That's strange. In the home and away. Oh, I know that. Yeah. Thank you, Bill. Yeah. Good. How are we seeing the prize at the minute, please? I think what you're saying is a little bit disjointed, forward of center. But we've got a really strong defense. So you have the thing is, especially with football at the moment, you've got to find a balance of defending and attacking. And the thing is with defense, to score really well, you want to be unpredictable to opposition defense. So the more unpredictable you are, it actually is worse for your defense. And coaches obviously hate that. They want a lot more structure. So yeah, we're finding a balance of that at the moment. A little bit of a new look forward on as well.

So we're just finding out a little bit about ourselves. We had a wake off. We've had a lot of review. We've got a lot of growth and opportunity ahead of us as well. So it's not all dim and glim. You do defend incredibly well, right? Round one. Who did you play as a killer? Thank you. I had 23, I think. More entries. Yeah, we had 40, I think. It's just amazing how well you all do it. It's not just your back six. Yeah, normally we're pretty efficient going forward as well. So yeah, our backline, regardless, we didn't have DAS. We didn't have Howie. So they stood up regardless of personnel. So it's a lot around our system. So in saying that, can we be a little bit more daring with the ball? Can we take it on a little bit? Go for risky kicks or put on a bigger score? Because that's what we want to do. And we want to be fun to watch as well. Well, you always are. And Bobby Hill is back at the club. So you've got you and him down there at some stages here and prize fans can't wait for that. Yeah, it's exciting. Yeah, it's great to have Bob back in the building. He looks happy, healthy. Yeah, that's the biggest thing.

And there's going to be a process for him to get back to playing. He's got to put in a block of work. Earn the trust back. And then hopefully we see him on the field. Not too far. So how do you go combining with him that interests me? Because you've been there a lot longer and your body of works more comprehensive. So you call me old. Yeah. He just comes along and starts getting in your way. He does. So how do you handle that? There's the main man out. He's got to push the AGO side. No, you don't. That's the answer you wanted. That's not what I'm actually thinking. You're going to say, piss off Bob. Yeah, there's a higher up here, obviously. No. No, you push the AGO side. I think the thing with us is we're a system based team. But you've also got to play the game and be exciting. I've been in the system long enough now where, especially last year, where I got put into the leadership group, I voted in. And I feel like the growth in my game actually came around trying to help others and getting the best out of them, which actually in turn helped my football. So we've got a lot of exciting players. And the thing is if we win, we win.

Regardless of how I play, obviously I want to perform. And I want to impact to help the team win. But you can impact in all different ways. Lead ships, one of them off the ball running, tackling pressure. It's not all starts. Well, that's what you are as a club of lead. There's yourself. There's Bo McCreary. There's Schultz. There's Bobby when he plays. Yeah. So for opposition defenders, it must be a nightmare. Yeah, well, that's an idea of it. You want different threats. You don't want to rely on one or two people because you lock those two people away and you've got nothing else. And that's where a system helps a lot. It's regardless of personal injuries. So you have a lot of injuries. For example, with that backline, you can see if we play a strong system, we can actually cover those injuries. Obviously, guys might not be able to be covered. Nick, for example, like phenomenal talent. You probably can't cover him. But the system will try and help cover that. We've got a first game or two this week. We do. Oscar Steen. Big steam bag. Tell us about him. Tall bloke. It will come in.

Probably give Darce a chop out in the rock. Darce will go forward. Darce will probably play a little bit forward. I don't want to give too much away. You just did. You're scouting for GWS. Yeah. And he'll probably play a little bit forward as well. So that'll be a good look. Looking forward to working with him. Very quiet humble guy. His work incredibly hard to get to this position. So I'm super excited for him to come in and play. And hopefully it will bring some excitement around the team. And Darcey Moore and Jeremy Howe back. That's nice. That's great. Good to have a couple of old boys back in. Absolutely. Then I'm not the oldest one out there. We've got panels, but. Oh, yes. Yeah. Experience is massive. You see that in certain moments, especially late in games. How you want to control the ball and late in quarters, for example. You see that with experience and potentially with lesser experience. You don't see that. So it's obviously. Yeah. It's going to be super having them too back. Well, get a little break. A couple of things we want to run by. You've got some dirt on it. You've got some stuff. Hard, the hard man to find dirt on. Very hard. Yes.

But also fat thinks he's a good friend of Jordan DeGoi. We actually don't think Jordan knows who fat is. So we're going to get to that next to him. He's dropped off me. More of Jamie Elliott next to him. The calling of footie cop. By the way, Magpie Army. You can catch more of Jamie Elliott this season with a Flexi Ford membership. Yes. It's your season your way. Take your mates ahead along to four. Calling with home games. Join the Magpie Army today. Got calling with fc.com.au. And Jamie's bought one Flexi Ford membership in to give away right now. Right now. So give us a call one triple three five three. That's brilliant. That's in my pocket. Brilliant give way. Thank you. With your dog biscuits. Be part of the rush hour family. Follow the show on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X. Add triple and rush hour. Jamie Elliott from the Pires of Stockground JB. Calling it a big ticket offer for you when they take on the Giants on Friday night. It's just 27 bucks. Yes. And we mentioned earlier in the show. Yes. $3.00 Pires and $8.00 Coulton Drive 3.5's pre-game. Good drop. That is a good drop.

Very good drop. Very good drop. Jordy DeGoi normally keeps to himself. I'll hold my tongue for what Bill just said. But yeah. So yeah, we'll get to that in a second. Yeah. Because he wants to go with that to also. Yeah. Fat Rickens, he's a mate of his. No. Jim. Rob's and I say there's no way even knows who Fanny is. Many months. Would you say that you wanted to go races or sort of man that would know Bill? We're at a bar. We got a couple of froffies in the next minute. We're singing the song. Are you sure it was him? A woman. No, this is a buddy. He has been quite of late. Isn't he? In terms of what? Well, he's had a baby. And he's in love. And he's a family man. He's a family man. So we haven't caught up a lot. Fair to say to you. You've only met him once. No, he's good friends with my son-in-law. He's got a family. And the gang you know is now. Is he? And he's a farmer. It's like I said, if you start offering money for these gigs. Yeah. And he applies in it. That's what he thinks we're a bit tired about. So what have you got? Well, here we go. A bit of dirt from someone out here that's given me something. It's not the producer. Yes. Herbie? Do you know Herbie? Oh, I've heard stories about Herbie actually. Well, here we go. So just be careful. We're going to run with this one. Go on.

You're going for it. You're going for it. You're going for it. So you're skipping the dog biscuits? No, we'll get to them. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. You're going to get to them. Okay. You're coffee. You're a big brister man. Oh, I'm not. I drink a coffee in the morning. Yeah. But you had a bloke that was your brister. Your coffee man, didn't you? James? Sure. Yeah. I'll run with this one. But you're broken up with him. You're giving the ass. Because he used to call you a little buddy. Oh. Oh, no. Is this true? That's good gas. Not once twice. Oh, no. Oh, no, no. He's a little buddy. I don't blame him. Someone little buddy's here. Here you go. Look, I'll cop buddy. I'll cop power. I'll cop all those. Yeah. If you do two of them in one set, it's little buddy. That's fair enough. I gave him another chance three months later. Copted six, 15 in the morning. You don't need that to start you down. Little buddy. That's fair enough. So he's got a new brister. That's not being champed. Oh, no. Yeah, a new coffee shop.

That's that champ. Right, mate. And you roll with yours and I'll roll with mine. So you like it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You have to wear your shorts and sometimes you put them on. You have them worn them for a while. You have them washed them. And you find dog treats in your shorts all the time in your pocket. No, that's false. No, it's not. You've got dog treats. I'm telling you, I'm not lying. No, it's bullshit. Well, there was a story. No, there's a story. But it's not even that funny to be honest. That's all right. We want to know about you. No, okay. So when I got Luke, I'm a puppy. I went to train him with this dog trainer that got recommended from this physio. I won't name names. They are awesome. From the club. I went and saying him. And yeah. Anyway, I didn't say him again, but had dog biscuits and I put him in my pocket. That was too late. No, no, no. I took him out when I got home. You love Luca? I love Luca. You love Luca? It's a big dog too. Big dog. I'll bring him in next time. I told you to bring him. What's all the dog? Kang Kausea.

We had Molly Melgen's dog in here once it poohed on the floor. But there was that big, you're little sleut of time. Like you can pooh on the floor. They're big things. You've been saying them, Jimmy? Jim, no. We're trained big turds. You clean up? No. What? As long as it wasn't funny. Speaking of the dog, I did get and happy to dump this man into it. So I'm an adding, of course. Former North Melbourne Physio now, great Physio for you. Said you're obsessed with your backyard renno. Oh, I'm not obsessed with it. Right. I've done a renno, yeah. Right. You're on the tools? I hope this is going somewhere. Are you on the tools or are you getting people in here? I have been on the tools, actually. Yeah, not too much. Obviously, I'm paying him to do it. So if I... Yeah. Doesn't make sense. Right. Yeah, I do a little bit of work. Nice. What sort? Paving? I don't want to disguise that. Right. Right. Right. Just content. Content. That's what... That's what... That's what there's a spawn con. Were you ever coached, you reckon? Because listening to you in that first segment, I'm thinking, oh, he knows a bit about the defence and all this stuff and talks well. So, you reckon you'll coach 41 day?

I've been in the system for 15 years. I don't know what I've packed my hand. Yeah, you would. Would you coach? You're rowar? To be honest, it's a space that the longer you're in the system, it's... I see it like this. So no, I didn't see myself coaching. I'll see how much work they put in. But at the same time, when you spend so long in the game, you've got so much knowledge. So why wouldn't you use that knowledge? So I am toying with that at the moment, whether I want to fall into that. Definitely when I do finish eventually, I'll have a year off, probably, just to get away from it all. Yeah. I'll potentially miss it and come back into it. But yeah, I feel like I know the game pretty well. And I can definitely help kids coming through, I develop and roll potentially. But yeah, there's definitely a spacer. Thank you. Preparation very seriously to the point where, I think at least once, perhaps more than once, you went to Germany to get your body right. Yeah. That was in 2018 at the end of. So Fat went to Germany as well. That's probably a different trip as well. Yeah. Noodle. Running noodle through the park with an inny.

I actually went back into his body. Oh, I thought you were talking about his belly button. No, that came out. Right. Just went to GM. So it was actually summer. It was actually summer. It was summer. But when you run noodle through the park, you're not going to have a big... You certainly did. Diffy. No. So you obviously saw it. No, I was back here. They went over for the 40 show. 40 show combined show. Yeah. But I saw the vision. Right. And then we had a lady who was in charge of pixelating. He's eight day pop. He's eight day pop. And she needed one pixel. She said he had the binoculars on. Because she had the binoculars on. Quite less pixel was that. Like that. Like that. Like that. It's up on the big tray. It's in a pipe. Right. Right. Right. Let's go to... Are we going to cut to herbie? No, no, no. Do you want to go on herbie? Yes, please. Right. That obviously came from her. All of that came from her. Right. Yeah. I don't want to give away my sources. Well, we have to get some clarity around this. But apparently there's something involving pigeon racing from an ex partner. Oh, look at her. Oh, pigeon racing.

I'm not sure if... See, where the pigeon's working? Where the bike? Where the bike? Where the bike? Where the bike? Where the pigeon's working. I'm not sure how many pigeons they have. I don't even know how that works. I don't know. Yeah, yeah. How can you bet on her? What's her go? Well, they put him in a truck and drive him. Feel lonely. Pigeon racing. And then they let him go on the first one back home. Wins the money. Look at her. So I'm be keen to... Yeah. To go brain about them. Look at her. She's red. She's red. Sorry. I got one more. So we'll go on. And then apparently just a little dude that she used to run with is Cornrose back in the day. What is the Cornrose? I can give a little bit of context if she wants. Oh, go on. Well, apparently she's a very sweaty person. Oh. So the Cornrose with a slick bath? No. Cornrose. Look at her. She's nodding. She's nodding. I'm sorry. Yeah, she's red. She's red. How do you know all this? I've got my sources. You've got your source like a mom. We don't talk about them. Good work, well done. We need to let you go. Thank you. And I'm being genuine here.
