Genesis 6, the Ozarks, and the Nephilim | Ancient Mounds with Nicholas Daigle

What if the story of **Genesis 6** isn’t just ancient theology — but something that may echo through history, geography, and even America’s heartland?

In this episode of **The Ryan Files**, host **Ryan Pelton** sits down with author **Nicholas Daigle** to explore the biblical account of the **Nephilim**, ancient mound sites in the **Ozarks**, and why these topics continue to raise questions about early civilizations, spiritual history, and forgotten traditions.

Nicholas shares how his personal study of Scripture led him to investigate **regional archaeology**, historical newspaper accounts, burial mounds, river systems, and astronomical alignments throughout Missouri and the greater Midwest. The conversation examines how similar patterns appear across North America — and why many ancient cultures seem to share common symbols, practices, and flood traditions.

This is a **faith-centered but exploratory discussion**, not a declaration of scientific or historical consensus. The episode invites listeners to study Scripture, examine historical records, and engage with these ideas thoughtfully and responsibly.

**Topics include:**

* Genesis 6 and the Nephilim narrative

* Ancient mound complexes in the Ozarks

* Burial practices, river systems, and alignments

* Biblical giants and global flood traditions

* Connections between North American mound cultures

* Faith, archaeology, and discernment
