There's nothing quite like a college football Saturday. The fight songs, the rivalries, the traditions passed out from one generation of fans to the next, and of course, they're settling in for a full day of football with a Chris Modelo because Saturdays are for the gridiron and services. College football is built on tradition and no one knows tradition like Modelo. From the fanquakes that shake the stadium to the rivalry trophies that mean everything year after year, these traditions are what makes Saturday special. So if you're listening to this, consider it your sign. Grab a Chris Modelo, settle in, and enjoy a full day of college football because it's just not game day, it's tradition.

And those who keep college football traditions alive deserve a Modelo. Modelo is the official beer sponsor of the college football playoff. Drink responsibly. Crystal Geyser Alpine Springwater, always bottled at the source. What's up, everybody? I'm Chip Patterson, the counselor of chaos, fired up to be here in the sea of standing desk with you here on a Friday and fired up to show you this excellent recap screen. Yes, Thursday night football was good to the early edge. You see, Will Brinson coming through

with a new idea of how to make a new video of the game. We're going to be doing a video of the game that's going to be on the show tonight. We're going to be doing a video of the game. Early edge, you see Will Brinson coming through with that Denzel Boston. You see Sports Line with RJ White, Brad Thomas, and Bob just check mark, check mark, check mark. Oh, you like that baseball. So does Matt Snyder, a little Ronald Acunia, prop stars also getting in on the Denzel Boston as well. And then we bring back EC as he's able to catch that wild card series winner, Parley, Braves, Padres plus 230 right in your pocket. Now, I know things look a little different here as we are missing our great leader, the counselor of cash, but have no fear everybody, because it's still B-P-E Friday. Oh, we got to unbutton these buttons, y'all. Let me see them dance moves. Everybody get it up.

Get it up. Get it up. Get it up. Get it up. Yeah. Oh, I don't want that earpiece. I don't want that collar. Let's go. Oh, we got air going in the house. We got A-Max in the house. We got buckets in the house. We got Danny Brass going in the house. And now they didn't even get it started, because he is your chip. Me up. Good. Morning EC. Good. Morning A-Max. Good. Morning, Danny Brasson. Good morning. Good morning, Ben. Good morning, Hurley Hedge, fam. And buddy, when you're wearing so many hats, you got to wear so many shirts, you got to button it up. You got to rip it off. There's only one way to go. Let's go. Woo. Come on, chip fire me up. Woo. That was amazing. That's the thing with the chipping up. You need someone else to come in for a moment to give him a break. He's winded. Eric Cohen, how are you doing? It's good to see you here on a Friday. You know, Chip, I'm honored to be on with you guys. I don't sound great today, but listen, at great to be on with this A-plus crew,

your energy is unmatched, and I love doing shows with you. Yeah, absolutely. I shirt stays on. That's for everyone. Multiple shirts, A-mags. How the baseball playoffs have been treating you so far? Yeah, playoffs have been fun, and shout out to sniper for Caching His Pick yesterday. And if you're in the sports line discord, we were talking about all different types of plays, a Maddleson home run, and live plays here and there. There's a lot of fun. And obviously, there was multitude of sporting events last night, but I was actually happy with the way that that braves and Phillies game went. It could have been kind of just a walk over win for one of the teams. We got a solid game. I was happy with that. 100% buckets. How are we feeling here on a Friday or the juices flowing? The juices are flowing as much as they can be considering. EC took my stick. I was sick before him. I'll be sick after him because medicine is for the week. I will sit here and I will let myself die before I take a day quill bed. So back off because I'm here bringing you those sickly time winners.

Medieval buckets. He actually goes to Renaissance festivals. I did not know he also uses Renaissance era medicine approaches as well. He says no to day quill. He says he has to leaches. So don't worry. Yeah, exactly. I'm letting sure. Teddy Frasco speaking of blood, how are we feeling as we look ahead to a big UFC weekend, including, hey, full card on America's Most Watch Network, the network of stars. CBS, am I right about that? That's right. UFC 322. A lot of people lamenting this card. They're saying, this is not pay-per-view. We're out of the pay-per-viewer. But this is a title fight card. This is a numbered card. Guys, every time we say that, they deliver low-key bangers. Do not sleep. I got three UFC picks and I got an NFL pick this Sunday. I'm coming for some get back to chip. I had a one in three recap screen last Friday. I got robbed by the judges in one and another fighter as he was going for the plus one 15 finish, got disqualified for an illegal knee. I'm getting my lick back, just bad results, getting the run going again. Listen, we don't stop when things don't go our way.

We overcome adversity. That's how you get stronger. That's how you get better. Let's get you stronger and get better. Little sports line picks, action. We got a pick for you on the ice from Todd Furman, the ducks and the golden nights. He likes over six and a half. I like that plus money right there. Ducks, of course, a feisty, young bunch that's trying to come into form. Knights trying to squeeze what little bit they have as that window continues to move. Now from the ice to the pitch buckets, can you get me started with some hoodie plays? I absolutely can chip. And while we have so many big sports going on, we are still in the international break low of the footy world. So while other people in the show will be bringing you two or three winners, I'm just going to bring you one because I wanted to find the one plus number bet that I think has the best value and bring it directly to your front door. That's right. I'm going to find out where you all live. And I'm going to show up with the winning ticket in hand and deliver it myself. Don't know what I'm doing with this bit. Listen, Bosnia and Harris Gavina are taking on Sweden this afternoon. And Sweden is a bit of an interesting team

because this is a team that looked terrible in their pre-World Cup era as they didn't win any of their qualifiers. And then they did fine in the World Cup. But this is a team that has something to prove right now because you've got Victor Yokoresh, who is not even the starting striker for Arsenal, for his domestic club anymore. So he has decided, you know what? I'm going to shut up all the haters by scoring with my national team. He has looked so good for the Swedish squad over the first two matches. As the Sweden team is just rolling over the competition right now, they just beat down Poland 3-1 and beat Romania 2-1 before that. And they're playing at Bosnia and Harris Gavina side who conceded twice to Romania, which is why I think that Sweden should be good for a couple of goals here. Let's go with Sweden over 1.5 team total. We're getting that at plus 110. If you want to add BTCS to it, I absolutely love that. Because Sweden can't defend as we've seen time and time and time and time and time again. But I'm already at plus money, so I'm not going to try to overthink this one. Two goals from Sweden is all I need to cash this ticket and to start your day with the W here, Chip. Am I correct that that's also, this is our guy right here? Yeah, the man behind the mask, baby.

Absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. Let's see. Do we need to wait for the lineups also? I know that all international sort of the international break we're always going to be a little curious about how they play it. You feeling pretty good about how Sweden will roll them out there? Feeling pretty good about how Sweden will roll out there. Because they still are in a position where they need points. They need to top the group. This isn't one of those ones where because they won their first two, they're good to just relax and sit back. We've got six matches in the nation's league, so they got to keep pressing here, expecting the best starting 11 they can put out. Great call. Great call on the stakes. EC is a man of many talents. We have picked college football together for years. I've seen him grace this very channel with his picks for an array. College basketball, he's on it. NFL, he's on it. College football is on it. We got to hang out in person at the US open in 2024 and pine her. So it's just, it is a multitude of talents that Eric Cohen brings to this program. So now I ask you how many boxes are we checking here on BPE Friday? You know, Chip, I wanted to come with the University of Arizona pick because I know you like to fade my team. They are o and four against the spread.

Yep. We're not going to do that. It's profitable. It's great. You know how much ice cream I bought off fading Arizona. It's delicious. You Arizona, Hater, you. Okay. We're not going to do that. But we are going to do a college football parlay for tonight. We're just going to stick to two teams. We're going to take Liberty on the money line at Delaware. Our guy, Emory Hunt, is calling the game on CBS Sports Network. And I'm going to take Penn State on the money line at the all new Ryan field in Evanston that other than old one was a dump. They spent 875 million. This new one is great. So listen, the thing for Penn State, they have USC and at Michigan up next. If they lose tonight, they're going to end up losing four in a row. That is not what Matt Campbell wants in his first year at Penn State. It's kind of a must win. I think they get this one done. The thing about Liberty and Delaware, both teams played Coastal Carolina in back-to-back weeks. Delaware, one by eight at home, Liberty, one by 17 on the road. We're going to look at it that way. I'm not going to tell you that I watch a lot of Delaware football. I did bet Liberty in week one against James Madison.

So you know what, the second time betting them, we're going to do it Liberty, Moneyline, Penn State, Moneyline, plus 135. And then for Sunday, I'm not giving this out on the prop show, 3PM Eastern Me, Uncle Dave and Propy. But I'm going with the over 141.5 field goal yards in Dallas, Houston. We have two of the best kickers in the league, Brandon Aubrey, Kaimi Fairbarene. But the thing about Houston this year, they've surrendered over 100 yards in field goals in each game. The last game, they gave up 188 yards alone. Now, Fairbarene's only had five attempts thus far this season, but he had 90 in the last two years combined. Get ready with Nico Collins back in the line for Houston for field goals, galore. I think we see five here. And this one easily hits the over 141.5. You guys wanted it yesterday. You get it today, a field goal prop. Let's go. We love to celebrate the legs. We love to celebrate the national football legs. The one quick note on your play for college, the thing that I love about you finding the

way to tag Liberty is that Liberty's new quarterback, Dishon Pertie, has been able to unlock that offense in a way that maybe wasn't really hit in two years ago with Kaden Salter or even last year transferred over from Wake Forest. I think that it feels like he and Jamie Chadwell are seeing eye to eye like the way that they're humming. But at the same time, while Delaware is not great, it is a team with a pulse and laying a whole American touchdown on the road in conference play is, you know, you got to be careful there. So, hey, we're just saying better team win. I love the way that you did that there. Better team win, parlay, a couple of road teams. Good looking there. And Chip Emory Hunt on the call to great shout out. He's see, I'm going to watch that for that alone. That's awesome. Oh, he's excited to call the game from somewhere in Delaware. I don't remember the city where they're located. Chip probably knows, but we have to bet it just to watch Emory on the call. You're right, Danny. The tax breaks left and right. That's what we know. That's what Delaware does. Here we go. Speaking of finding new ways to get breaks.

And I'll be back here on the early edge BPE Friday and just because I'm sitting in the sea of standing desk does not mean that I'm not delivering to you the same three pack of picks here on a Friday. We start with the little Friday night lights. We're going to go with pit team total over 26 and a half. The angle here is looking at Mason Heinschul against a Virginia Tech pass defense that I think he'll be able to take advantage of. The important thing to look at with the statistical profile for both of these teams, which I think you could also say for Ethan Grunkmire, is they both played in games this season where the weather made it impossible to throw the dag on football. Okay. So pit play to game like that against UCF Virginia Tech play to game like that against Boston College. If you watched any of these games, offencing was just not going to be in the cards. And so I think there were maybe a little bit under rating Mason Heinschul a very talented quarterback who when it is dry has been able to absolutely fill up the stat sheet.

We saw him last season as one of the real breakout stars when he took over that starting job. And this Virginia Tech defense while I think the linebackers are good and the defensive line, especially Camari Copeland has some good players. I think in the secondary, they're going to be able to scheme some things open. I see a lot of love in the chat for just taking Virginia Tech. Now that that line has dropped under a field goal, a lot of pit action has pushed this thing down, down, down. If you want to say Hokies home, inner sandman, under a field goal, grab it. I get it. I'm just saying to one piece of this match up, I feel the best about is going to be pit scoring against Virginia Tech's secondary. Then on to Saturday with the little big time on CBS. We're headed to Iowa City, Kinnex Stadium to see if the Ohio State Buckeyes are going to go and get Iowa. And what do I say? Heck, nothing going to get Iowa. Are you kidding me? See, this Iowa defense is not your grandfather's Iowa defense. This is not the good vintage of Iowa defense.

In fact, I think that in the secondary, we've got a lot of spots where Jeremiah Smith is just going to feast. And so when I looked at the team totals, I was looking at first halves, I was looking at unders, I was looking at overs. I was like, come on, dummy. Just lay the points. This is an Iowa state. This is an Ohio state team that is going to Iowa understanding that if they put a certain number on the scoreboard, Iowa cannot reach it. And so I do think that they're going to be a little bit aggressive. I think they're going to look at this as an opportunity to continue to flex their muscles with one of the best players in the entire country and Jeremiah Smith. So I'll just go ahead and I'll lay both of those touchdowns with the Buckeyes, not saying it'll be a cruise, especially with the way that Iowa handles its business. And sure, maybe there's a punt return touchdown or a muffed punt, like some of the typical fair that you get when you go to an Iowa home game, but ultimately better team covers. I'm going to take Ohio State. I will lay those two touchdowns. And finally, yeah, we're just going back to the well because the well has water.

All right. Last week, BPE Friday, I say Florida, first half team total over 14 and a half. They've moved it to 15 and a half. Have I straight? No. 14 and a half to 15 and a half. When we're talking about first half team totals, we're still dealing with the same edge. And that edge is that Buster Faultner, the Florida offensive coordinator is one of the best game planners play, callers in the entire sport. The way that he gets his team diled up for those first 15 plays is unmatched. And so we're just going to keep going here. They're going on the road, which is always a little nervy, but they're planning to get some Missouri defense that did have really a stronger second half against Kansas than they did against the first. We saw Camario Taylor and Mississippi State get 31 points and be able to score efficiently against this Missouri defense. And so I do think Aaron Filo, Jayden Ball, the rest of this Gators offense, they're going to be able to get it in the first 30 minutes as well. So second week in a row, let's see if we can get a second green check in a row. Florida first half team total over 15 and a half.

Let's go chip chip. What that Ohio state was that the 2026 vintage did not receive the right sunlight and rain. What's up with there? Profile. Let's let Lackett Lackett, the Cooper Dijin grape that it had from, you know, the Cooper Dijin grape was the kind that could take a pick and then actually run it back for a touchdown. Like the true Iowa experience is to be able to get the muffed punt that sets up the four yard touchdown drive, the pick six, the, you know, like at least one other defensive special teams field flipping tight play. And then offensively you really just get one offensive touchdown drive that goes the full length of the field. Yeah, but the here's the thing there Ohio state's defense is not nearly as good as it was last year. Fair. And Ryan Day, when he was talking earlier this week chip, he sounded really concerned. He didn't sound overly confident. Love it. I think I projected it 27, 20 buck guys and I don't hate your pay. It's a lean for me. It's not I'm betting my wing of my house on it.

But nonetheless, that's a tricky game to pick. The other piece of this that I think is interesting is that Ohio state has been susceptible against the run a little bit. Remember, we saw Texas lean on them late in that game. Iowa has not been running the football that well when they play against power conference opponents. They stuffed a stat sheet against Northern Iowa, but when they played against Iowa state, they were not able to move the football in the same way. And so if you can't do that against Iowa state, I think against Ohio state, you're going to be in a little bit of trouble. Fun game. Again, you can watch that 3 30 PM Eastern time on Saturday on CBS America's most watch network, the network of stars. You can stream it on Pat Amount. Gluce. All right, A-Mags, you've got your what? No baseball today. Hey, no problem. A-Mags got picks for you. Talk to me. Yeah, no baseball today. No problem. We got some picks for tomorrow's baseball games. And maybe it's a good time. Take a little night off. I know I saw that that updated that tweet that there was like 60 straight days of football.

Because I know there's got to be a football game on, right? I know there's got to be a hockey game. There is a bunch of other stuff, soccer. So take the day to spend it on the other sports because you have to tap into MLB tomorrow. We've got some huge games starting up. One of which between our resident White Sox fan here, Jen, facing another resident fan, Cleveland fan. So we got the Guardians and the White Sox here. I wore my White Sox hat because I'm going to bet against Parker Messick. And that's just to go six full innings here, completing 18 outs. I'm going to go under 17 and a half outs for him. The number is a little bit on the move here. I saw since I sent this in this morning. It's now about $0.10 worse. I still would play at minus 135 or so there. MGM has minus 135. So great for us with our partner. But I think it's really more the fact that this team in the White Sox not only looks locked in right now, a great series against the Astros. And I'm talking about the offense more than anything there. Pitching was fine too, but the offense looks locked in. But really, it's the fact that this can be their fifth time this year seeing this guy.

I mean, they've pretty much seen him once a month for the last four months. And you know what, three out of four of those were solid starts for Parker Messick. I have to give him credit. He went over this number and he was very good. But the one start that he stayed under was where he threw a hundred pitches in five innings and he walked multiple batters. I think at this point, this lineup is probably a bit more locked in than maybe a couple of those outings. They've seen him a bunch and it's the playoffs. They've got a solid bullpen behind him there in Cleveland. So I think if he falters even a little bit, they're going to be looking to pull him. He can also come back later in the series as well. I think that'll be kind of pivotal to trying not to gas him out fully here. And you know what, Miguel Vargas is a lefty masher. He will be near the top of the order. I'm not sure they let him face Parker Messick a third time around. So give me under 17 and a half outs for Messick there. And then I'm doing it all today here at Chip. So we got the second pick here on the Dodgers. And I saw Big Cheesy already in the chat said he likes the braves. I'm going against you, Big Cheesy, at least in game one here with the Dodgers.

Look, they haven't confirmed who's going to pitch. It could be Yamamoto. It could be scooble. It could be snow. It could be glass now. It could be anybody, right? But they're all studs. So I'm not too worried about who we put on the mound here for the Dodgers in the end. I think it probably is Yamamoto. But once again, it gives him an ability then to have enough rest to come back in game five. So pitch him here in game one. And you have a braveside who, when Chris sale is on the mound, I'm very happy to look at backing them. And he's a great pitcher. But the rest of this series, when he is not on the mound, I think it's going to be very difficult for this braves team. The offense is going to have to hit to keep pace with this Dodgers offense. And I just think the way the pitching sets up here for game one for the braves, it's kind of tough. And you put him up against one of the Dodgers studs, if not their best pitcher in Ace, Yoshi, no, but Yamamoto. So I think Dodgers minus one and a half at plus money. I'm not going to obviously bet into that huge minus 200 or so money line. But as props come out, I may be interested in Yamamoto or whoever the starter is to record the win. But I think bra, or the Dodgers offense is going to do enough here against the braves,

kind of lack of pitching. I mean, there was talk of JR Richie getting some time in this game. Come on. Maybe the Dodgers bats to win handily, at least in game one here minus one and a half at plus money. And then lastly, hockey, you're probably like, you don't have a hockey hat. Oh, of course I have a hockey hat, not just a hockey hat here, Chip. But this is a Rangers version of my hockey hat here, the O2 All-Star game hat, because I got a pick on the Rangers here tonight. Well, not the Rangers, but my guy, and I had to make sure I get this right, Pavelle Dorofia. All right. Dorofia, if you got it, it's not Dorofia, Dorofia, Dorofia. Dorofia, right? So I had to write that down. You know, had to put it phonetically on there, make sure I get this right. But look, this is their go-to guy now. I mean, coming over from Vegas signed a major deal there, almost $80 million. And you look at Dorofia, first two games, five shots in each of those two games. They were actually stifled against the Bruins in the first game of the year, then they come back at home and have a really nice five-to-one victory, Dorofia, with a goal

end and a sys. But five shots in each of those first two games, I think when you sign a contract like that, you come to a city like New York, you got to make sure that it's worth it. He was asked in his post game interview if he's thinking about needing to score more. And he said, you know, as the all athletes say, it really isn't on his mind. But you can see five shots and back-to-back games, I think at some point this year we see this turn to a standard line of three and a half for him on the shots. But hey, while it's at two and a half, I will take the over on Dorofia tonight. I get, if I get burned by the back-to-back, it is what it is. I know betting hockey, the back-to-back's are not always easy, but I still think Dorofia has got to be in there with some shots tonight. Yeah, well, they tore everything down and now they're rebuilding around him. I mean, this is like, you got to be a tone setter. You're going to be like, you're the guy who's got to get out there and get that action. So I love that. I appreciate that pick from you as well. The thing about the Dodgers play, A-Max, that's so funny is, you know, the chat was kind

of lighting up with a lot of booze. And do you know what it reminded me of? It reminded me of Alabama football from 2015 to 2018 when they were just motoring through everyone. And I'd be on CBS Sports HQ or I'd be on cbsports.com, like, I don't care. It's, they're better. Like lay it, lay it, lay it. They're like, boo, that's so boring. What about an upset? Like, I don't know, man, if they come out with the Yamamoto and if the bats get going, they're going to pound them. Yeah, look, come on. When Chris sale is on the mound, that brave steam is going to be tough to be. I really don't care who the Dodgers put on the other side, right? But at the same time, when you've got, you're talking about guys like JR Richie being on the mound, you're talking about who can we piece it together with the bullpen. Like Chris sale came to his manager and said, I want a pitch in game three. He wanted to make sure he put his stamp on that game. He comes in to close that game. So now you've kind of all but taken him out of the, you know, the running to pitch game one. And I just think it kind of sets up as a tough spot for them.

They've got to travel across country. They've got to go up against a great pitcher and they've got to go up against a great offense. I could just see it very easily being Dodgers 1-0. I was actually looking at Dodgers to win game one and the series. The price really wasn't all that great at even money. I felt like it should be maybe closer to plus one 15 or so. So haven't laid that yet. But if you see plus one 15 out there for Dodgers to win game one and the series, I would like that as well. Yep. We will see. We will see. Hi, Danny. We already talked about it. Big time card on CBS. What are some of your favorite plays that we've got from the UFC? Let's go, Chip. UFC 32 and that'll end with a pick on the grid iron. Let's kick it off with an underdog that nobody is going to want to back. And those are my specialties, guys. Anbiamo, vi in Cittore, Marvian Vittori. It's time to get a win, Vittori. Plus 120 underdog. Look, he's on a four fight losing streak and he's looked pretty bad. But he's been facing elite middleweight competition his entire career.

And yes, gone are the days when he was competing against Izzy Adesanya and some of the title contenders at 185. But he's facing Ismail Nardi up here and he's the dog. This is his most winnable matchup in years. Vittori is durable and we know that because he's hit him. He's incredibly tough. You can't put this guy out. But that could be a problem for Nardi if this fight goes deep, which I expected to. Vittori has the conditioning. He has the durability. He has the ability to go deep and keep fighting tough if this becomes a nasty scrap. Ismail Nardi is an explosive puncture. He's athletic wrestler early on. But he fatigues in the later half of these fights. And in the third round, if Vittori still comes in the middle, he's going to be a big one forward. He can get that South Paul boxing going. He's been a primary boxer as of late. But Vittori was doing his best work when he wrestled. Go back to your wrestling, Marvin. Put Nardi on his back. Pin him against the mat and see what happens. I think this is where Vittori could finally get off the Schnei and get himself a win here. So I just feel like plus 120 unfair. Kind of disrespectful, even though Marvin's looked bad.

It's been against way better fighters. So give me the shot on the dog here. Next up, let's go all the way up to the co-made event of the evening. And this is a spot where we're back in the big favor to show out and continue his exponential rise up the division. Give me Peyton Talbot by KO or Sub. I think he puts Davidson figurator away and continues his run. Talbot is a guy that is one of the best prospects in the UFC's. Blue Chip, potential Bantamweight title contender. He was actually floated the Sean O'Malley White House matchup. It just never materialized. But I feel like he's on a collision course to face one of the great guys there. And yes, he had a slight setback. He's five in one in the UFC. His one loss was to a grappler, Haione Barcellos, who we saw just put on an amazing fight last week and give out. I've had a medical episode at the end of that fight, but all time classic. And so we're not going to really fault Talbot for losing to a guy like that because he's still working on his overall MMA game, building up the grappling defense. But if you got a strike with Peyton Talbot, you are in trouble, man. This kid is dynamic on the feet. He's explosive. He's athletic. He's creative too.

I've seen him flip, front flip out of takedown attempts. I've seen him throw spinning attacks, all sorts of wild switch knees. And he can catch you when you're at least expecting it with a really cool and slick shot. He's also very much improving his overall game. He pieced Henry Sihuto up in his last fight. And he's been waiting on the sidelines for over a year to get another one. I think you're going to see that potential just keep rising. And his trajectory go up and up and up. Figueroa was a crafty veteran, but he's been finished in two of his last four fights. He's only been finished four times ever in about 35 pro fights. But all four of them have come in the last five years. He's now 38 years old. He's a tough guy, man. Four flyweight champion. But I just feel like he's going to have too much to deal with with Peyton Talbot. If he's defending the takedowns in this one, and Talbot's going to live up to that minus 750 price tag. Then let's go to the main event of the evening guys. I feel like this is kind of a free interim title chance for an Italia Silva. Minus 205, the price is right. I'll lay it because she's facing Kong Wang, the number six ranked flyweight who's getting a very unlikely title shot opportunity here.

This is the interim flyweight title up for grabs. Valentina Shevchenko, the champion, is sidelined with an injury. Now we have this kind of like, what are we doing here, matchup for the main event with two fighters, neither of which feel like they should be challenging for the belt. It should probably be a rematch between Firo and Shevchenko. Nonetheless, we have what we have. It's a striker's delight. I think Silva's got the edge on the feet. Her bouncy footwork, her constant fainting, her ability to mix or attack to every level. I think it's going to keep her ahead on points against Kong Wang. A very skilled technical kickboxer on her own right. She came in a UFC with height owning a kickbox and win in 2015 over the aforementioned champion, Shevchenko. That's in kickboxing, guys. This is MMA. The MMA skill set, I think, is way more developed for an Italia Silva. A girl who can use her sidekick almost as a jab to control the range and the striking exchanges. If they do grapple, we've seen that's where Kong Wang has her weaknesses. I don't expect them to. These are two pretty pure strikers. Like I said, it's MMA. They might get up against the fence, clinch up. There's a lot of different exchanges that could go down.

In a five round fight in the high altitude of Utah, I favor an Italia Silva's ability to maintain the pace she trains in Mexico City, trains at altitude. That's going to be a big factor on this card, guys. Watch out for the gas bags. Watch out for the guys that can fatigue. The third round will be very talented providers that have the cardio edge. I give that to an Italia Silva. I think she wins the interim title and then challenges Valentino, which she comes back for the rightful championship. And finally, guys, let's go to the gridiron. I'm going with a Dolphins fade man, Vikings Dolphins. And give me the Dolphins team total. Under 13 and a half, it's a Brian Flores revenge game. Do you guys remember when he was a coach on this team and Steve Ross allegedly paid him 100k a game to tank and Flores sued them and went to the league over racial discrimination allegations, which I believe entirely, over tanking. For all sorts of fiasco that happened with his tenure in the Dolphins, oh man, now you got the youngest team ever fielded, cumulative, 608 career starts across the whole Dolphins

team that's the youngest ever since 2000. And you're facing the Vikings team, the exotic blitzing scheme of Flores, who is generating the highest pressure rate in the NFL, who is blitzing at the highest rate and who has the most sacks through three weeks in the NFL too. Against this Maliqua team, they haven't scored more than 13 yet. I don't think it's happening without Devon Hane now against Flores, who's going to be in his bag looking to prove to the Dolphins. They suck as much as the day that they let him go. Oh, man, this is going to be a rough one. I was going to lay the ten and a half chip, but I said screw it. Let me just play a Dolphins fate because I think this is going to go very poorly for them. I love the way that you're attacking that one. You're telling me, Ollie Gordon ate the answer. We're not going to get the Vikings. I picked up Gordon and Fantasy. I'm a big fan, but I just don't see. I like making football analogous to fighting. It's the closest team sport that's like fighting. Flores is the type of defensive mind that hits you with the punches you don't see coming. He's like an unorthodox fighter. You don't understand how to track the movement. Where is it?

And then all of a sudden, he's not just overloading the weak side with blitzes. He's dropping linemen. Then the middle linebacker comes through. He's throwing you all sorts of looks and I just don't see Maliqua responding well to that. The other thing too is that because the Vikings know they have that defense, there's no reason to put anything at risk offensively. How many points do they need to win? 14? Right, exactly. Yeah, exactly. 10 and a half is big, but they could win 17 to 9 and you know, you don't win. Not cover, but then this, Danny's pick for you comes home. Always a little bit of a feel for my god Jeff Halfley. Can you imagine this guy was a successful NFL coordinator coming up in the 49ers program. My big, good defensive coach, then he has to be a caretaker of a Boston college program. I don't want this anymore. Like willingly leaves to go back to the NFL to be a coordinator. Now he gets the head coach to be the caretaker of a dolphins program. Sure, we'll see him as a DC in what, three years probably. Yeah, but Chip, don't wouldn't you want his paycheck?

I mean, come on. I don't know. It's the best babysitting gig you've ever gotten. Yeah, exactly. By the way, I just wanted to shout out my guy Romeo Dobstan, one of the best names in the chat ever. Romeo Dobbs still waiting to blow up on my fantasy team. He says, give me the Anthony went, New York Jets crossover Parlay. Anthony went is fighting in the UFC. He's a former Jets linebacker and he's already got the races. So he's got another like kind of gimmie matchup. They're wanting to build this guy up. So Jets also interesting. What are they? Plus three and a half dogs. Jets went Parlay. That could be interesting. Bucket's got a question for you. I think we got a couple France money line and over two and a half with the France's the France Italy. Yes, France Italy. Do you want me to do the thing where I just run through the the Fuddy questions real quick here? Here's that, right? Yes. France money line over two and a half. France versus Italy. France is a very frustrating team for me right now because they just have so much out of this world attacking talents and they're not fully utilizing it.

They've won their last two nation's league matches, one nila piece. They'll be Belgium one nil. They'll be Turkey one nil. So it's a team that I'm a little bit scared to bet overs on honestly. I know that it makes sense that Italy's defensively is not there. Italy's pressing really well. Their games have had a lot of goals. But I'd rather take France money line and under four and a half do the guru way of playing this and kind of go against the grain and vote for maybe not the most exciting game on the planet. But anytime Steve Fulkert springs about it's something I obviously want to tell and look at. And then we're getting questions on which one was this? Sweden draw no bet buckets from Arctic clarity detailing. I like it a lot. I think Sweden are the better team here. I think Bosnian hairs, Gauvinia are good enough to score but not good enough to win. If this ended to one, I think that's a pretty good shout. And that's where I'd put my money. And final question we've got is Belgium and Turkey A asking if you want both to score an over two and a half on that one. It's minus one thirty five. I don't love the juice on this Jeff because Turkey A is consistently underperforming right now. They just aren't the team. For the talent they have kind of similar to France except they're not winning.

They should be scoring three goals a game against everyone with Goulare with Yil Nas with Arctic hot glue off the bench with just so many good players. They're just not performing. So for me, Turkey A is kind of an auto fade right now. Not even a fade just not trusting them with my money. So I like the bad. I think it probably hits but I'm not taking that at minus one thirty five. E C any thoughts on tonight's game between Virginia Tech and Pitt. I'm seeing some Virginia Tech love. I'm seeing some pit love. It's coming, coming left and right over here in the chat. You know Chip, I looked into this game. I wanted to do a three pick for the show and I just didn't have a strong lean. I mean Virginia Tech at home James Franklin Friday night. Entered Sandman. Awesome. Pitt's actually surprisingly not bad under Pat and Arduzzi this year. Mason Henshel at quarterback. I, it's a toss up game. The line's what two and a half. I'm staying away from it. I wish I could give you something. If it was me and how I would play it in a parlay, Pitt plus seven and a half Virginia Tech plus seven and a half do the Mike McClaur and try to split it in between.

That's a dead. You know what? I mean like people in this country build financial models that boggle the mind because they turn like three cents automatically, you know, I guaranteed winners and stack it over time. Arbitration or what's it called? Arbitrage betting. Arbitrage betting. Arbitrage betting. You think it's going to be a close game chip? You bet seven and a half and seven and a half. It fits within a touchdown. You win. Doesn't matter who wins the game. I lit these people who are far, far more successful at this than me for me as I was detailed. Extensibly the R and R O I's for recreation. We're just trying to move some chips around tip the dealer and buy drinks. So, you know, like, well, we'll just call it a good night if we enjoy our sports. But we always want to give you the people, the winners for spending some time with us. Anyone like Clemson to beat Miami? No. I like the under. Everybody's on the over. Yeah, chips. Miami's had over 50 points in every game this year. Why is the line 47 and a half? In your neck of the woods, rain, rain, rain this weekend, Miami takes the foot off the gas in the second half.

Yep. Maybe a few little nicks and bruises on that Miami roster. It's not really a, not really a reason. I mean, they could come in and be mean, but I think they could also look at this as an opportunity to twist the knife, win slow 31 to 3. Anyway, Chip, I always look at, you know, when it comes out on accident when I listen to cover three, you have your, you know, your picks of the week with the guys. Please tell me you don't have Cincinnati plus seven as one of your picks of the week. No, it's a money line sprinkle as like, like, don't take it. But my, do you know what my other money line sprinkle is? Washington against USC. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, but it's, it's these high variants. Like, I don't want to sweat whether Cincinnati is going to cover the seven. It's just, yeah, maybe Arizona's defense might be able to give it up. And Cincinnati, sneakily, is a pretty good offensive line. I don't think their defense is any good. No, if I feed a shatera, I'm up. But, you know, it's a little, just a little money line sprinkle. I think there is some Arizona against the spread love as well. A max, do you think Tampa will win the World Series after they beat the Yankees?

No. But why, why is that even after they beat like, like, it's already set and done? I think this would be actually be a great series. I'm really looking forward to the Raising Yankee series. So my opinion, the two best teams in the AL and, excuse me, we'll see what happens. But I think buckets got me sick through the screen. What's going on? I swear, I felt fine before the show. I'm coming down with something. Oh, man. But chip, if I could, one question in the chat here that Jeff asked about a goal score tonight and then he mentioned it was in the Carolina game. I actually like your Carolina Hurricanes tonight to win, but it was around almost minus one 50 or so on the money line when I started looking at it. So I said, give me the plus money on the 60 minute line. I guess I don't hate minus one and a half. But give me the 60 minute line. I think both of the teams here, the capitals and the Hurricanes are kind of, you know, I'll give the Hurricanes the edge. But I think they're the cream of the crop or at least close to it, right?

So when you look at facing off, we'll see what happens if they're going to win. But man, what a tough loss on banner night. I mean, you got to, you got to come back from that. That's like, so if you, if you watched the game or if you even just listened to Rod Brynmore talk after the game, it was a little embarrassing, but he's not afraid to, not afraid to cause team out. So we weren't ready for the speed, you know, looks like a team that had spent all summer celebrating the cup in a Florida Panthers group that was pissed off. They missed the playoffs, you know, Paul Maurice brought the Panthers out so they could watch the banner. A lot of teams they leave you in the locker room and he brought them out so they could watch it. And I thought the Hurricanes definitely showed they're not, they're still a championship level team because it was a tight big boy game, zero, zero all the way down to four seconds left and over time. They maybe let their foot off the gas on that final possession and then boom, you don't even make it to the shootout. But in the game, Sebastian Ajo, Sebastian Call of like all the stars looked a little bit sloppy, you know, the tape, the puck wasn't sticking to the tape. So I'm looking for a much crisper performance.

We'll be in the Lenovo Center for that one. Here's the thing about the Hurricanes, fun team to root for, really tough team to bet on because they are analytic starlings, which means their prices are always heavy minus numbers, right? Like I don't think minus one fifty to your point is a great price to bet. There is not that same implied odds of guaranteeing a win in 60 minutes. But you know, if you want to play around with goals, goal scores, maybe maybe a little Jackson Blake, you know, maybe, maybe a little bit more. Maybe a little, maybe gets a little Logan Stankovan. Give me somebody on that second line to be able to pop here, here, yes. I like that. A, A, Max, I got to ask you, I just was looking at this Drew Rasmussen, the Razor 12 and O in his start since the All Star break. I'm going to put this pick on sports line. You have to take the raise in game one just because of the way he's pitching right now, right? Yeah, I mean, he was the guy that really turned the Yankees inside out this year. So I think my thought is raise game one Yankees game two.

You're going to get Schletler game two, probably Nick Martinez. I think that's a much better match. I was actually looking ahead on some of the predictions markets where those were out already and I bet Yankees in game two. I won't touch the game in game one, but I, I agree. I, you know, I would go raise there with you. I won't bet against my Yankees. Of course not. No. Yeah, come on. I mean, if you're going to put your skin through, actually, that's why you're sick. You're wearing the same clothes that you've been wearing since the beginning. That's true. You know, you're saying sure I said I was wearing this shirt as a good luck for the weekend. I wore this for the you got you got you got droplets. You got droplets on the shirt. It's a Yankees. Yeah, jeez. Oh, yes. He's been trying to make sure keep that out of the way. Danny, any lean on green? What's it? Rebovich. Esnaval. Rebovich. Yeah, that's a wild fight. I'm not going to get off it, but it's going to be nuts. Green just keeps agent like a fine wine. He is the right vintage chip. He's 40 and he just keeps turning away younger prospects.

Rebovich is a fire refider though. They're going to bang. It's going to be a fireworks type of fight. I think green could be piecing him up with that kind of tricky unorthodox boxing until Rebovich like throws a head kick behind a combination and just like ends the fight. So my lean is Rebovich knockout, but if green gives him the vets lesson, we, you know, it's happened like five times in a row. So I'll feel like an idiot. So for that reason, I stayed away. Chip, one other thing I wanted to bring up, it wouldn't be a BP Friday without like some sort of chat poll or what's your favorite kind of thing that Cia loves to do. Addison earlier on when we were talking about vintages and. Is that whiskey? Yeah, she asked what's your favorite well whiskey? Can't go wrong with it. Evan Williams, literally, you got it. Whoa, whoa, whoa. So what? Well, yeah, but yeah, but like the well is literally like the bartender's not grabbing from here. It's Bob. It's bartender's grabbing here. It's down. It's just fair game. Well whiskey because that's the thing is people started throwing out bullet. I kind of think bullets on the shelf, not top shelf, but it is on the shelf. You don't cook bullet down down here with the ice.

Right. I was going to say like buffalo trace bullet, but you're right. That's kind of made. And look, I used to drink a lot of whiskey. That was like my thing. The Obon 14 have a nice little, you know, Scotch or whiskey, but nowadays I'm soft, man. I got a year older and like 10 years weaker. So I can't hang anymore. If I had some Evan Williams Addison, I would not be on the show. Oh, Jim Beams, another great well one. Beam. That's yeah. Yeah, Jim Beams, another good well whiskey right there. Good call. So real quick, if I go in somewhere and they have like Jim Beam or really Evan Williams, and they're not in the well, it's either like the best bar ever or it's like the worst bar ever. There is, there is either like the greatest dive bar where you get like really cheap drinks and it's awesome or it's like this place does not know what the heck they're doing. Woodford or something. Yes, that's that's that's a good well one. Yeah. And then you get you get it's and then there's like house whiskies, right? Then there's the the nice whiskey. That's just a drink of whiskey, the servant whiskey, you know, do you guys remember this

was my youth years when I was not allowed to be drinking, but still did. We used to purchase Admiral Nelson. It was Captain Morgan's evil twin brother. Oh, Garcose Cuervo, one of the I can't even remember was Tequila or rum, but it was hurtful. Let's go. Hey, man, two little two fingers. Shout out to the Admiral. Never beat him. Yeah, let's go. Okay, anything else from the chat or elsewhere that we want to make sure that we get to before we hit that recap screen? I mean, now I see how realistic one. I see I see extensive by the way. I can just sit here and just keep talking. All of a sudden I got a bit on mercy. I've been on like, come on guys, 11 a.m. I got the places to go and see his like, this is so much fun. Come on guys, let's keep y'all getting it up. Yes, I'm actually I know we need to go, but I did want to at least address this real quick because I looked it up. So we were talking about or they were talking about the chat. The Dodgers and potentially having to buy and then that layover, you know, creating some lag in their performance, right? And I don't disagree with you except the fact that this is a Dodgers team that needed

the rest. They had a bunch of different injuries, a bunch of different issues and they were, you know, mentioning about some of their performances later in the year, but when I did look it up because I truthfully didn't off top of my head, they still scored the six most runs in September. They still had multiple hitters that were hot and mooky beds and Kyle Tucker the best month of his season in September to ask her Hernandez and near 1000 OPS. So I do understand the layoff and saying, well, they had a buy. They're going to struggle. I think this team and the Dodgers actually really needed that and they are no stranger to coming out of a buy as we saw in 2023 and 2022 where they came out of a buy and lost immediately. So I think that is fresh in their minds. They are not going to let that happen again. It's been said they are some of them sleeping at the ballpark even to make sure they stay together. I think that this a much more focused team than maybe in some of those previous times. So give me the Dodgers, but I had to at least mention what we're talking about here in the chat. Yep. 100%.

Well, let's take a look at the recap screen. Chip, that's me. Friday night lights got Pittsburgh team total over 26 and a half Ohio State minus 14 Florida first half team total over 15 and a half. EC got you with a little Friday night college football parlay. Watch Liberty Delaware. Our friend and we'll be on the call. It is on CBS Sports Network. Take them on the money line. Tag it with a little Penn State as they're playing at Northwestern to open up the new Ryan field. Plus one thirty five. Then on Sunday, the national football legs will deliver Cowboys Texans over one hundred forty one and a half field goal yards. Now, we're looking at some international play and yeah, we're thinking that we're going to get it from Sweden, Bosnia, Sweden, Sweden over one and a half team total. That's from buckets. Then Parker, Messick, are you can we've seen this guy way too much? Under seventeen and a half outs says a max plus the Dodgers on the run line minus one and a half plus one ten and then Pavledor, Fee of three plus shots on goal.

All right. Marvivatory money line plus one twenty from Danny Brasco. That's at UFC Peyton Talbot by KO or sub minus one ten Natalia Silva on the money line minus two oh five, but man, it feels so good. So just go ahead and squeeze that juice. And dolphins team total under thirteen and a half those fish can't swim. Brian Flores is going to lock them up and Todd Furman Friday night on the ice ducks golden nights over six and a half plus one oh six. I look forward to see his return, but I enjoyed this time with you. Thank you for bringing the match. Did Dan Well chip. You did great job, Cheb. It's good to be great. You did great yesterday too. You guys are crushed. Thank you, Dan. Thank you. You know, as producer, as producer, been detailed when we were talking about this, I think about a week ago, much deserved break for seeing shot. I mean, I really think that guy went seven hundred and two days without stopping once. So I, you know, hope he's doing well. Look forward to getting him back.

EC will be your host coming up on Monday buckets. You are, do you feel well enough to send us out of here? I'm glad. You let me go first chip because I don't know where I am right now. I'm just on a different planet. These cold meds are awesome. You know the law. You know the law. Chip is a pretty good guy. Subscribe.
