from the Zedium podcast network. This is for the police. When and Haley's back pod thanks to animates making happy happen for pets. Haley, away again today, who's a flight back from Sydney very late. I'm a bit of a hero. I said you can have a work from home. I said to her, look, hon, take a day. That's ridiculous. Right. You know, just kind of going. You're the hero. I don't know. I want to go on about it. But Halivan Ice Guy. That's what people are saying. I've just done a Google actually. Do do do do do do do do. What's with Halivan Ice Guy? Halivan Ice Guy, a hero. I mean, the Livan Ice Guy, a hero of the people work big fair work from home. It is her annual leave. She's using. No, I've got. You're giving it a wrangle to a sick day. Have you? Okay. I've wrangle to. I've wrangle to the ability to use one of her own personal sick days. Again, hero. Yeah. Hero in the workplace. I'm going to save you sick days for when you sick. Just take the one you just need some time out. You know, Friday morning. This is fantastic.

I'm hanging out for the weekend. God. Are you awake? So I woke up this morning and the minute I woke up, I was like, am I awake? And I still have this weird feeling that I'm half asleep. I've eaten earlier than I normally do. I'm going to have a second coffee and a second. But even talking to you now feels like a dream. Really? Have I been poisoned? I just said to my mate, I was like, I feel when he's like, you might have been poisoned. I was like, who would poison this? Halivan Ice Guy. Have you got a gas leak or something at home? Dude, I wonder. Dude, what dude? Well, Vaughn is half here. Dude, I'm half here. I'm here in spirit. Not in mind. And you've got the top six for us. I do have one of those coming up for you. KFC's got a breakfast menu, guys. So the top six things on the KFC breakfast menu. Is this in New Zealand or Australia? I think it's pen-penciled. Penciled. Okay. Okay. I'm dead. Surprising in this app hasn't happened sooner. Dude. It's always, I've said dude, 5,000 times on the show.

It's because I've been poisoned. It's because you've been... It is surprising. Well, let's see how the small thing goes. Dude. The ZDN podcast network plays ZDN Splish, Born and Highly. This is a sign. Would you say extreme athlete? A D-devil? A D-devil has a jump from the Auckland skyscraper Ghost Tower. So, see-scape. If you're not familiar, there's this half built. Was it going to be the tallest? It was going to be the tallest residential building in New Zealand, right? Yeah. Or just the tallest building under the sky tower? Yeah. It's massive and it's kind of stalled. Yeah. There are windows like two thirds of the way up and then they're like, oh, we won out of money. Yeah. And I think there's... We won out of money. At the moment trying to sell it. Because this is down the road from where I live in it. Yeah, you're alive in it. And the city. Yeah. You can see it all over town. Sometimes you can look right through the skeleton structure. It's got some flappy bits. It's got some flappy bits. And since work stopped on it, it's kind of boarded up.

There is security because there were bits falling. Do you remember there was a story a few months ago, bits were falling off? Yeah. Or people are alleging that the neighbours were like, there are bits falling off. And they've had security full-time looking for bits falling off. So, at some stage, this... What good is that going to do with the clubers? Somebody. I don't know. There's one of the bits that falls off and pal through somebody's head. I picked them up before anyone notices. Yeah. At some stage, this man, the caption on the video is French. This base jumper gets into the skyscraper. I'd say trespasses. Trist... Near the gets past the security. Near the top. Not quite at the top, but near the top. Jumps. Yeah. Base jumps onto the street below. Lands... Keystraight. Lands Beach Road, Anzacab. Kind of area. Yeah. And... Hasn't said when this happened, but judging by the video and everything went sunrise, because I've sent another angle now and when he jumps off the sun. And it's over 8 p.m.

It's really early in the morning. It's giving big Saturday or Sunday morning to be honest. She's pretty quiet. It's pretty quiet. It must be like 6 or 7 a.m. Like no traffic stuff. You just probably must have had a bus driving it. It must have just been like, what the f... He just lands on the road with his parachute and then he's off. And there's two angles. There's his friends are filming it from below. And then you see him land on the street and then it cuts to him jumping off. Yeah. With a GoPro on his helmet and nuts. Insanity. Like you see this stuff overseas all the time. But in all clinsedic. But yeah, apparently, I reckon he's left the country. This is what... Like I'm looking at his... Excuse me, I'm looking at his social media as Instagram. He might be bigger on TikTok, but I don't put my toe on that pool. But he's... Goes around the world. There's a video of him up this massive tower. I don't know, I would've wanted to... He's hanging on a tower back in the day. And he's doing that thing where he's hanging on by one hand, just like dangling by one hand. No parachute. Doesn't come up pull-ups and then the pool gets back up.

No, that's not cool. And then he's getting a trespass ticket at the bottom of that. He's been around the world. Where's this one? Everybody dies, but not everybody lives. That's one of his captions. He jumps off these insane things, hangs from hikes, trespasses, gets into these places and jumps off. And then this one here, he's... He's jumping off a massive crane. He's in barley again. Okay. Somewhere he shouldn't be. And he's jumping off a crane. And it's only got 260 likes. Now I'm... 260 likes. Well, say, don't do anything in barley. No, it's not. Well, it's not... Do you want to... Never been present in barley? It's not temple-based, but he's jumping off this massive crane. Right. Like, base jumping. 200 likes. Yeah, he's only got 200 likes. Nearly kill yourself. Well, it's crossed out of the social media desk. If we were to risk our lives, would we be expecting more than 260 likes?

Yeah, it's all about the ratios, man. And that's rough. That's rough. I'm looking here. Another one he climbed up. He climbed up some massive old dome stadium and ran and jumped off the side of that. And that's only got 600 likes. Yeah. Like, we already like recession. Like, there's a new fad going around where people just don't like posts anymore. Like, it's more about the views. But also, like, I've risked my life. Huck me a like. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. 600, you can't even like... You like me. I nearly died. I've... I've got a cring. Come on, come on, come on. Yeah, exactly. So, why is there a likes recession? People just are scrolling and not liking anymore. I don't know what it is. I don't know why. Like, no one can see your likes anymore like in the old days. So, I don't know why we're not liking bad. I do think it's bold, winnestagrams. I wonder if it's because, you know, how sometimes it comes up with a little circle at the bottom of your friend's face. Yeah. Is being like, Vaughan's liked this. Maybe he wouldn't want that. Vaughan trades very lightly then. Yeah. I mean, there's definitely a huge difference on my personal social media.

I mean, I'm not going to be like, I'm not going to be like, I'm not going to be like, this is a big issue of parents and kids. Immatique the abference of an invece, still, no, frighteningly I won't be allowed in going in with money. Like, thaaastorese. I had to don't know why. I've never been willing to исслед colum think of me as clearly an agenda of what you've always felt. and gambling. Boots and gambling still goes on. The CDM podcast network plays, CDM's flesh, foreign and haly. Apparently this is the amazing race music. Yeah, I've actually never seen an episode. I can't get into amazing race all survival. I never ended up just, I've got friends that love these shows. I think I've watched some of the amazing race, but never been like, I'm gonna watch this season. I've just seen bits and pieces. Ah, and you know the fact that the amazing race

is the woman who tried to catapult the watermelon and it shiples it back and it goes out. And then the smashers are straight in the face. That was amazing. Right, say, I think so or survival. One of those shows, yeah, I was, it wasn't survival. Well, yeah, you know the gist of amazing race, there are envelope, so you've got to get to the point. Yeah, it's a well-known cultural touch point. It is. And it's in New Zealand, because of course, Phil Cogan is in New Zealander. And he's got that hybrid New Zealand American accent. That's so many. Yeah, such a mongrel. Where's he from? Oh, there it is. Lincoln. He's always, he was born in Lincoln just out of Christchurch. The Christchurch is like, is, has home city. Right. And he's currently there filming the amazing race. Is this the first time he's been back because he's based in America now. He's been living there for years. Is this the first time since the earthquake he's been back? So I don't reckon I was any of this. I don't know. I think, no, no, he will have been, has the amazing race has definitely been to New Zealand

before a, I think so, yeah. Yeah. So I don't know what they're doing. I don't know what they're doing in Christchurch. I'm just on his Wikipedia page. It says shortly after, fit the earthquake he visited his hometown. He did, okay. And he recorded segments for the early show, which is an American talk show, I think. And to donate to the re-cross to help out. Amazing race, US, has been to New Zealand. It's been to Auckland and Queensland in both season two and 2002. Season 13 and 2008. Season 20 went to Auckland and Queensland again, 2012. And then season 22 and 2013 went to Auckland and the Canary Reclier River area. So it either mixes up Queensland and Christchurch. But it's never been like, I don't know, it's never been to like anywhere else. It's never been to the North Island. That one has been sweeping vistas. Yeah. Of the South Island offers so beautifully.

Yeah, they do. But so Auckland and then parts of the South Island but never other parts of the North Island. Interesting. Now this theme song's, I've looped it a hundred times. I just felt like I'm constantly going back on because I'm off the Christian's and family YouTube plan as well. Oh, cool. So we could get an ad. I don't know. We could get an ad. Mid the amazing race theme tune. I'm not exactly sure. Well, so filling right now if you're in Christchurch or the Canary Reclier New Zealand. Tell me, you may see the film cruise around filming as contestants race around. Yeah, he's a cyclist. He's an avid cyclist. An avid cyclist. An avid cyclist. Well, Canary, the best place to do that, because it's right. He went from, he cycled from LA to New York. Why did he do that? Arteras Money for Emma. Oh, he's a good boy. Emma's research. He's a very good boy. Love's a tour to France, apparently. Right. Love's watching. I don't think he's partuck. No. Interesting. That's a very interesting man. And currently in Christchurch filming the amazing race season 5,000 plays at M's, Flesh, Fondan, Haley.

Where do you want to end studio by Blackhap are Locky Ferguson, hello? Morning, how are you? Good, thank you. Now, we're not quite back at Cricut season on Home Soil. Are we? Busy close. Zone. Few weeks away. Yeah, in the second of November, I think. In the year in town, are they? October, yeah. Yeah, man, big series. Wow, okay. So, but you're not here to talk about the upcoming series against India. We can talk a little bit about it, but we're here mostly to talk about the NZC Youth Bowling Fast Challenge. Right. Fast, why I wish this was around when I was a youth because I was a, I was a bowl like medium pace for me at Marisol and media, with the occasional spin on the, on the Astro Tour. I'm the Astro Tour, corporate Astro Tour. Yeah. God playing on a concrete Astro Tour was scary. As a kid, I remember that. You're like, shit, too fast. Well, all the guys at Fast Bowl at school and then continued playing some form of Cricut Aller having shoulder surgery now. So, got that to look for it. Yeah. So, perfectly not. Perfect timing for school holidays. Who, who, who this starts today, you can enter.

If you're listening, maybe you've got a youth that is the place, Cricut, a boy or a girl. Yep, so under 19, back in 2008, was the last time they had it. It was, I was at school then. We had the final, we've got flown down to Wellington during the, ah, sorry, England, first New Zealand test. And during the lunch break, we went out on the field and got to ball in front of the full crowd with the speeds coming up on the big screen, which was epic. Wow, that's cool. Did you win? Came second. Yeah, Gemini Niche picked me. Diddy! Yeah, I know. Oh, you haven't lived to, you've been picked by the Niche. There's a few men out there right now in their own reflect of moment, remember, been picked by the Niche in one form or another. Yeah, diddy. But like the experience was unreal as a school kid, you know, it's fine to answer. Yeah. Because what's your, what's your fastest on record? Your fastest ball. 157.3. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. When you're in your car going fast, I was just about to say, I don't think I've ever been that fast on a car. That's... Of course, I'm a rocker. That was a good way, really. Oh, I've been a race car.

Oh, you okay? I've been a race car. Pat took me in a rally car, was crying, so I don't know how fast we're going. I've found him. You couldn't set the speedo through the gears. Yeah, the odometer. Crying for my life. Okay, and so tell us about this app then. Yeah, so the app, I designed it. It's load management for fast bowlers. We're trying to mitigate against those injuries you were talking about earlier, but of course, as a fast bowler, you want to see our fast shoe bowl. So we've also built a speed radar within the app. You just measure yourself side on with your phone, on a tripod, and it'll give you a speed that day. And then, yeah, if you're in the top six, you'll get to go down to the final for the men that's during the India test. And for the women, it's during the first early hour against Bangladesh. That's pretty different. So how did that measure, like, when you entered, when you were a school kid, it's all on that, on an app radar. But you're the radar, where they can't run the radar to all that they can run to the schools. Yeah, exactly. And just radar, like they just said, anyone here bowed quick at training. And then I honestly, at the time at school, I didn't think I'd be anywhere near the top. I was a year younger than niche two.

And then yeah, we got an email, pretty awesome email to get back in the day and then got flown down. So first time getting flown anywhere for Cricut. That was so fun. And now I beat you, you're sick of getting flown if you're with Cricut. That's awesome. That's a great job. Still live in the drain. Yeah. Amazing. Well, if you want to enter NZC.NZ to sign up, to be into win, you could be the other future black cat. Yeah, you could get picked by the niche. Bye bye. Thanks so much for coming in. Awesome, guys. Thanks for having me on. The Dan M. Polkarts Network plays Dan M. Splish, Born and Highly. From your local community Facebook page, this is the top six. Well, after a trial at Sydney Airport, KFC Australia, what are they called KFC? Because we got Mac's from... Yeah, Australians call it Mac's. And we kind of always do that. KFC's just KFC. KFC. Just KFC, 9.696.

Does KFC have an nickname? No, it doesn't because it's just a... It's already an acronym. It's an acronym. It's an acronym. Yeah. Maybe we used to say Kentucky for a chicken. KFRIE, all you say KFRIE. KFRIE. But that makes me feel like I'm getting Korean fried chicken. Also, a trial in an airport doesn't count because airports... No, it's a famous stone of flight. No, it's a whole stone of flight. I'll have a beer at 7 o'clock in the morning. Exactly, because you're on holiday or you're going somewhere, you're like, I can drink now. Of course. And nobody judges you at an airport drinking a beer at 7am. Airport at DMZ. Yeah, all having KFC at 7am. Bingo. So, full morning meals at 29 locations, things such as bacon and egg rolls, BLTs with avocado, chicken bacon and egg rolls, chicken toasties, breakfast wraps with chicken. I mean, they're going to be chicken for me. But you can also do the chicken. I'm assuming, like you can at Mac, as you can also get everything else. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Also, side note, why is Ronald McDonald missing from the McDonald's 50th birthday celebrations?

I don't think he is, is he? I've not seen him. I've seen hamburger. I've seen grimaces franting it. If anybody is the front person for the McDonald's 50th birthday celebrations is our boy Grimmie. Yeah, right. I've seen Bertie, hamburger and grimaces. Ronald completely absent. Maybe he's going through something right now. He's getting a treatment. He's going through K-Mail or something. Ronald's, and he doesn't want to tell us. It'll make us sad. Also, Grimmie's way more marketable. Dude, Grimmie's is a big sexy boy. I know. We're full of peptides. Yeah. I'm a skinny. Grimmie's is like, I'm a chunky boy. I've got to get on. If Grimmie's gets on the GLP ones, I'm going to be on the boycock makers. I'm going to be on the boycock makers. I'm going to be on the boycock makers. I'm going to be on the boycock makers. I don't want to see a skinny Grimmie. I'm going to see a skinny Grimmie. I'm a fat, big fat purple Grimmie. Give me that big fat boy. Yeah. So I've got the top six back to KFC. By the way, everybody's feeling about fast food now. Even I, who don't eat. Good, could do. Top six things on the KFC breakfast menu that I want to see if it makes it to New Zealand.

It's eggs, Benny potato and gravy. YUM! YUM! Why wouldn't that work? It would work. Potato, mashed potato. Yep. Egg on top. Gravy on top. Yeah. That's a winner. That's eggs, Benny, mashed potato and gravy. I number five on the list of the top six things on the KFC breakfast menu that I'd like to see. Chaken. Chaken. Do you know what Chaken is? No. It's chicken bacon. Okay. It's chicken. Okay. Great. Finley's nice chicken breast. Great breakfast. Yeah. I know a four on the list of the top six things on the KFC breakfast menu. Double down French toast. Okay. Yeah. Nice. So it would be the double down. YUM! Holy shit. Okay. That would slap. Double down French toast. Yeah. You're going to double down. And then you soak it in the thing and you cook it again. Yeah. YUM. I want that. Do you want it or what? Someone hired me to just come up with wild ideas for a fast food change to try. Number three on the list of the top six things to put on the KFC breakfast menu. So popcorn chicken. Yum.

It's cocoa pops. Yeah, but it's popcorn chicken. Yum. And a bowl. And then the milk is gravy. YUM. Because cocoa pops turn the milk brown anyway. Yeah. Yum. Great. Good from you. Coco popcorn chicken. Number two on the list of the, uh, oh no. Huh. What have you done? Well, I put double down French toast and the last again. Because I felt like I was searching for idea. I felt like I wrote it at number four. Thought it would deserve to be in the place of number two. Copy it over number two. Yeah. Didn't replace number four. Shannon was just saying this was some of your best work until you screwed up. Until I until I absolutely strut it up. Although you do love a chicken, uh, a giant chicken char grill. What have you done? I got another chicken steak. Do you know what I had for dinner last night? Chicken steaks. I know. I know. What the faux char grill lines? Yeah. And when I ate them, I was like, this is just incredible. Can't wait for dinner tonight. A game. Because teagulls half price this week.

Okay. You know what? You're not on big teagull money. Okay. No, I would love to be that I'm open. Do you know I've had both Facebook advertising and a Willis email all about teagulls chicken to distance this conversation. Yeah. They're on you. They're on you. They're on you. They're on you. They're on you. Yeah. They're on you. They're on you. Okay. Yes. Yes. They're hash brown wrapped in a tortilla. You know, with all the sauce and sauce. Love, but it's hash brown. Love. And number one on the list, because we need something to drink. The number one thing on the top six things on the KFC breakfast menu. Number one, a grav El Arte. A grav El Arte. Correct. No. No. No. I don't know if anyone's drinking that. Someone will. Someone hung over Will. Someone will slip up the grav El Arte. It's just like a regular latte. Oh, really? It's gravy. Yeah. It's gravy. And the white on top is not foamed milk. It's foamed potato. I don't know if it's possible.

Let's get our world's best minds on to making that happen. That is what I stop sucks. Play Zedem's Flash, Fondan Haley. Flash, Fondan Haley. Still a little pose. Still a little pose. It is so silly. Still a silly, silly. That's silly. Still a little pose. Still a little pose. Still a little pose. Still a little pose. Still a little pose. Still a little pose. Still a little pose. Well, Silla Little Paul today is, I would you accept deliveries, by drone. So Amazon are currently testing in Texas in some suburbs, drone deliveries from their giant warehouse fulfillment facilities, promising you, and Amazon Prime, the subscription service. If you have got that and you order a certain amount, you'll get what you order in 30 minutes. Wow. And the drone will land on your front lawn or your back garden? It's getting noisy, by the way. So the complaints have started. So there's noise, the main complaint.

Yeah, so there's a town called Richardson in Texas. It's a suburb of Dallas. And the new stories are basically like people losing their minds over the constant. People saying, some guy saying he works from home, he can be on like conference calls and hear the drones. One guy was like, oh my god, the first drone I saw it was cool. I was like, oh my god, and now I'm sick of that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because if you live right by the fulfillment center, they're constantly bouncing over. But I guess they're luring of having something like less than 30 minutes. Yeah. And it's the need that quickly that we can't go and get for ourselves. I know. I mean, there are only the drone deliveries from 8 until 9 p.m. Because I was thinking maybe like, you know, in pharmacy shadow 9 p.m. 9 p.m. I know. So maybe you need like medicines late at night. Like that could be the future you get a drone delivery. They're apparently rolling out to 500 cities and places across America.

Oh my god. By the end of this year. It's happening. Would you accept deliveries by drone 56% of people said yes, 44% said no. So pretty split on it. Kat says no. And it's for the same reason I don't go through self checkout. I want to keep humans employed. Oh, old yourself checkout because my supermarket literally doesn't even have a checkout operator. Yeah. I think they might have one. I also, I'll keep humans employed because I'm so bad with like taking things out of the bag and in like, people lock up and I needed to wave them over to get them to unlock it. Yeah. I've got such a charming trustworthy face. They don't even check. They don't even know my supermarket always checks. So they check that you're putting through gold kiwi for his green kiwi for it? No, they don't. Yeah, they check. They'll definitely check if something comes up on the system. Have a little look. Yeah. Ash didn't say that I would have voted yes if there was an option that they could buzz my hedge and give it a trim. That'll be happening. Well, they already have, I watched, I watched, I made a my own Sean who's an arborist.

They got a drone to cut down a tree. I know they have drones that do like fire fighting and water blasting and it's insane. Yeah. It was massive too. Living in the future. And spraying, they spray like weeds and stuff. Yeah. And valleys that are too hard to get down to. For helicopters and that. That's pretty cool. Oops, I have clipped out of it. Because my husband is a career driver and drones equal no job. Yeah. So Jessica, what do you think about even Uber driver and career drivers for food deliveries and deliveries in the future via drone? Because they've already got the robots. Am I right? The robot drones in America. I've seen a lot of those. They'd put them in a heat proof case, but in my mind, a drone delivering food, the food's always going to be cold. No, because that's through more. Yeah, because it's altitude. Yeah. No, they'll put it in a bag. Yeah. I Ruby said, no, I love my career man. And then does the crying ice face develop a special relationship with their career? That means she's ordering too much stuff online. Tamara, I mean, I wouldn't decline the delivery, but it's not my preference. I'd rather have the little van chug up.

Yes. Steph said, I wait for my driver to leave before I get my package from the front door. I don't want to talk to anyone. So yeah, I'd accept the drone. Okay. Violet says, if it's cheaper than actual freight prices, that's a good point. Like the career cost would go way down. Yeah. I'm going to say, as long as it gets to me, I don't care about delivery format. Julie, no, let people have jobs because we need money to survive. Polly says, absolutely, for Uber, it's only out the drone will sit on my driveway and it's cannot live in the house, not live in the food of the door for packages. I don't think the drone will put my card to call and the mailbox four doors down after knocking half a knock. Also, I mean, it's definitely like you got a row career on your hands there, Polly. It depends how good these careers get to because I just got show sponsor. I just got 10 kgs with a cap biscuits. I can't see a drone picking up 10 kgs of cap biscuits. That would be a big one. That would be a big noisy one. If you're drawn, no way it's creepy.

And I feel like the government would be watching through drones. That's another thing I hadn't thought about. Like surveillance. Yeah. Yeah, true. Have a hover around your home. So for some of your boobs, I could see your boobs. I could see my boobs. I mean, the careers have seen your boobs already haven't they? They have. So I apologize to Chrissy. She's a lovely lady. She's actually had to retire because she's seen my boobs so many times. Okay, yeah. She's like, I'm not getting better than that. It's time for me to retire. So little poll, would you accept deliveries by drone 56% of you said yes. Does that end podcast network? Now, as someone that does, shall we say, air on the side of lateness? Is that a nice way of putting it? Yes, it is. We will lie to you Vaughn to get you to things earlier. As well you show him time. You know what? That's great. Fantastic. Thank you very much. So as soon as they have 2000 adults has reported that exactly the minute you're 29 minutes late, as when it goes from he's late to being very rude.

Yeah. 15 minutes up to 15 is generally considered fine. 15 minutes late. Yeah. If you say you're going to be there at 5, you rock it at 515, that's fine. If you rock it at 529, you've officially become rude. And 26% of people said turning up an hour late, don't bother coming. Don't bother. If you're an hour late, don't bother. Now, we've got a 40th to go to this weekend. We do, yeah, we do. For the show, Maddie McClain's 40th. What two o'clockers insane, I've got things to do. Two of the things I'm going to solve. I'm thinking of soft three. It's an afternoon of evening, a soft three out by five. No, but it's an event. It's bold. So you've got to be there. Oh, you're actually bowling. Yes. It's lawn bowls. I just thought it was at that location. No. So I should wear something appropriate. Wait, I'm assuming we're lawn bowls. Oh, we're going to need it. We're going to need to know. We're going to need to find out. I mean, did he run this by Matt? Matt's not a Matt. I'm a Matt, not Matt. Matt, Matt. No, we're not really bowlers. Although I do get competitive on the bowl.

I bet you do. I've done bowling before and I'm not going to enjoy this. Love it. And they curve round. Yeah. What do they call that? There's a word for that. Oh, I don't know what the word is. There's way to the more on one side and it's. Yeah. And they curve round. It's a beautiful sport. It's a beautiful sport. I particularly enjoy how well the greens are kept. Yeah. As a grass man. This is the thing. You know in your friend group, you've got friends that are late. Yeah. And so you just lie to them. Yeah. So that's 32% of people deal with chronically late friends by telling them their events. That's significantly earlier than it actually does. Yeah. Yeah. Saying I'm five minutes away as it go to lie. Yes. And 26% of people say I use it regularly. Yeah. Yeah. Especially if you turn up late and you've got a coffee. Yes. Or a shopping bag. Yeah. That's terrible. That's terrible time management. Because you stop for a coffee. You stop for a coffee. But now you're late for your friends. Yeah. But coffee is my best friend. So I, you know, I'm prioritizing my friends. So yeah, 29 minutes late.

If you're any later than 29 minutes regularly, that's when people think you're rude. I think that's too late. Yeah. And you've got to, you've got to text your friends, right? And say, 100%. 100%. I've messed up or I'm really late. I'm sorry. Yeah. Or blah. Yeah. But just turning up and not messaging. That's the root. Yeah. Yeah. Especially if, um, see if I'm saying, if people are coming over for dinner and I say, there are any time from sex, I wasn't planning on serving dinner until seven anyway. Yeah, I wouldn't expect dinner at sex. I wouldn't say, no, how no? You knew the first thing you do wasn't, doesn't, doesn't, doesn't, yeah. No. But it's interesting because if it's a concert, people will always be on time, mostly. Yes. But if it's dinner, sometimes people, you know, like there's importance on certain events. Yes. I don't know, but 29 minutes is the one. Apparently it's it. I'm at 29 minutes that it's annoying. Just turn up on time. Why is it so hard? Because I get sidetracked.

I know you do. Yeah. Yesterday, I was doing some, I was getting into Summer Garden really, putting up seeds in some, seedling growers, and I said to Amy McGee, my girlfriend, I said I'm just gonna pop out and get that. And then like half an hour later she came looking for me, she was like, where have you been? I was like, I've got side quests at so many times. I just saw all these things that needed to be seen. Photographed, talked to. Yeah. And then I got a chat to the pig. Yep. Okay. You know, where it's at the bees. Yep. Yeah. Now, like, people have said that needs to be diagnosing. And I said, it really doesn't. You can't catch. Yeah. Life's just one big video game, right? Are you gonna concentrate on the main story or are you gonna do all the side quests? The ZM podcast network plays ZM Splish, one and Haley. Vett, a vet has come out and he is urging pet owners to stop doing their dogs basic human names such as Craig and Sarah. Well, that's smell of giving my cat a Murray, what major Murray Fluffington? Yeah. And before that Karen, he's, yeah, cat, cat, cat, or other way.

Yep. By the way, the daffodils, my two cats, I planted flowers, bulbed flowers on all of their graves. Mine two cats. Yep. No flowers, cats, daffodils, which is also buried at your house. Which might have a bad care. Which might have a bad care. I'm gonna add a room under that tree. So I reckon we cremate Mars and the spread him, you know, at his favorite place. You'll lounge. You'll lounge. My love. The only place he has ever been. Yep. The Vets or the lounge. And we spread him all over your carpet. So what, but wait, why doesn't a vet want human names? He's a South African vet. He's having a bit of fun. He's got a social media following, but he's like, stop giving them names because like, for example, I've had to excrete milk, the anal glands of Craig. And when someone's like Craig's in room two, ready for his anal groin expression. Yeah. It's off-putting. Whereas if you're a vet and you had to excrete the anal glands of Mr. Fluffington. Yeah. Or make the total pap. It puts it a little bit. It just kind of makes it, I guess, a little bit easier because it's a funnier name or

it's an animal's name. He said he expressed Jared's anal glands earlier in the week. And he's like, Jared doesn't work for a pet. Oscar does. Harvey does. Archie does. Also good human names. So they're awesome. Yeah. But Craig Jared, he said he's got a dog called Jason on his books. Yeah, right. Patricia. And he said there's an elderly dog called Patricia that comes in. Yeah. Okay, I kind of get his point. Yeah. Because it would make it a little easier if it had a silly name. A silly name makes it easy to do. It's a gross job. Yeah. But he wants you to know it. Yeah. And that's nice because usually the vet's just constantly telling you animals fat. Yeah, they are. And it's hard for Patricia to hear. They're just. Some of things she's fat. They're just cute in their fatter. That's just, that's just life. A little chunky, chunky. Yeah. So this is what we want to know this morning. I'll 800 dials at him. You can call us text through 9696. Yeah. What is the thing that you want people to know from your industry? Yeah. Like something like this. Yeah.

Plum, we've got some already rolling in 9696. A couple to get it going. As a truck driver, that average is over 700 kilometres a day. Don't ask me how the traffic was. Because it was always, it's always shit. It's not going to be great. No, it's never good. Are your spines not out of alignment and needs to be clipped back into place? Sincerely yours every single physiotherapist. The clots on the ears. Someone come in and say, my spines out of a place and needs to be cracked back in. No. That's not the case at all. That's not what they do either. So what do we need to know about your workplace? You can share them on 9696. I have 100 dials at him. Have it. Great chance. Have a vent on a Friday. Let it all out before you get to work. Good morning. How are you going, team? Really good. Now, what do you want people to know about your industry? So I work as a showroom consultant. Excuse me. Excuse my ignorance. What is a showroom consultant? So I work in the plumbing industry and I work on the showroom side. So people come into me and they decide if they want like a vanity in a shower.

Oh, okay. You kind of put together those pretend half bathrooms. Yes, yes, yes, that's exactly it. You ever had anyone crappin' one of the toilets that wasn't working? No, I've had rubbish put in them but none of that. Classic. Okay. Yes, but I would like you to know that we can't hold every single product in stock and it takes time for things to be made from, especially from suppliers. And then I'm at the mercy of shipping and things like that. So it takes at least two weeks to get things like that in the past. Yeah, but the untaneless right there. I'll just have that one. I'll just have that one. It's right there. But you can't have that one. That's why I want that. But I want that. I'll give you, I'm going to, how this works now untaneless, I give you money and it becomes my one. I've experienced this towing renovation lately. You just like, but what do you mean two, three? What do you mean six weeks? Oh, six weeks. I haven't had six weeks. But two weeks normally for like a custom made product. Yeah, it's like going to a furniture store.

I'll have that one. And then I, okay, the lead times four weeks, you're like, I'll, yeah, that one. I think my couch was 12 and came from Australia. It kind of blows your mind, but you're like, what do you mean freedom furniture? Why don't you have 12 of these really go right now for me to chuck on the back of the year? Well, that's great for people to know. Lee, I'll say, thank you. Let's go to anonymous anonymous. What is it that you want people to know about your industry? Good morning. We can tell that you can't that you don't fly. Oh, I can't we're going to an oral health. I'm not going to an oral health therapist on the show. I know that's true. You can also tell if something else has been in the mouth. Yeah. How? Hey, people don't know this, but it's actually you can. The dentist in that they can tell, can't you? Yes, you can. Is it bruising? Yes, I guess bruising. Cruising of the soft of the what? The soft tissue. That's it. They're roasting your mouth. It's weird that Vaughn sends most concerned about anyone in the world in real hard.

I know. I know. I know. Now, anonymous say you did have the dentist or the oral hygienist at what point should you do? How many days before should you stop eating a banana real hard? I'm giving it a couple of days. A couple of days. Yeah, okay. Have you ever been surprised someone's come in and you're like, oh, fresh. I'm okay. Uh-huh. Usually the elderly woman. Oh, that's awesome. Pass on. Pass on. I think you were going to say like a married man. Nann is on the office. Nann. That's it. Nann is on the office. This is what I think there'd be a whole segment in like industry secrets that we could do. I love this. This is so fascinating. I think you were sharing. Thank you so much. I know the question. How, because I'm going to I always do the hygienist about every six months. How often should I start flossing before coming? I let the wake. I let the wake. I let the wake.

I let the wake. I let the wake. I let the wake. I let the twosies there too as well. Okay, yeah, sorry about that. Yeah, okay. Thank you anonymous. Thank you very much. It never's fascinating. Insightful. I beat you. A lot of people just found that out for the first time. Too. It's not well known. That's just the thing. It's just the thing about that. That's just the thing about that. You're industry. So I'm a barista. And I wish that people would stop asking if I put sugar in their coffee when they never ask for the sugar in the first place. The fault is no sugar, right? Yeah. I went somewhere and I had an ant in them for fun. Yeah, I went somewhere for my standard long black. Not the usual cafe. Yeah. And I was like, man, they're sweet. And I was like, yeah, one sugar standard. And I was like, no, no, no. What? What? Sugar is the most damn. Nobody does stand in sugar. I know. I also do. Especially with like, diabetes, right? You wouldn't just surprise people. Literally. I trust and trust that we don't want to... Yeah. Waste. Exactly. Yeah. That's wild. Okay.

Okay. Okay. Thank you. Some messages in so many. What is the thing you wish people would know about your industry and stop asking? I'm an apiRists. Okay. They look after bees. Not apes. Yep. It does sound like an apiRist. They're biRists. They're biRists. A biologist. A biologist. And everyone asks if I get stung. Of course I get stung. And yes, it still hurts. Yeah. I don't have a reaction I used to. So I've just started telling people I'm low-loans because no one asks questions about that. No. You would, but most wouldn't. I would ask what? What are you rocking? Um, interior plastering can't all be done in one day, no matter what you've seen on the block. It just isn't very interesting television to... What's the con? To come back three times. Yeah, to come back and touch it up and sand it and do it again and get it ready for painting. It's not so talented. It's such an artwork plastering, eh? Like you love seeing it. When I saw that with my recent Renault's, I was just in awe. I love when they get like a nice, tight, like a sharp corner. When they go into corner. Yeah. And when they mix it up, they go from spatula to spatula.

And then I try it and it's just, it doesn't look like that. Um, Lani also works in bathroom sales. Don't bring in your broken toilet seat to say I need another one of these. I'm pretty standard. Uh, we don't want it. We don't want to see what your ass has been on either. Yeah, good call. And someone said, my vet recently told me it's funny, the names people give cats as he was sewing Duncan a new bumhole. I wonder how Duncan's new bumhole was. Could we get a follow up there? Six, two, one. How was that? Duncan was run over by a car and a vet needed to sew him up a new bumhole. Where would you put the new bumhole on the side? On the front of the last one was. No, but obviously there's no room. Or... And the car ran over Duncan and sort of like the pressure exploded everything out the ass hole. And so that's sorry bumhole. So once the vet had pushed it all back and he just sewed it all up. It could be on the side, Vaughn. You don't know. You don't want to go on the side. That's confusing for Duncan. Right. Um, also in the oral haunch, it carry on. Yeah. Um, ah, okay. Uh, yes, it is going to hurt.

That's from a beauty therapist who does Brazilian waxes. Okay, yes. Um, I am a nurse. I work in sexual health. You cannot get climbed here from a toilet seat. Um, your partner's giving you that one. Yeah. Your partner's cheating on you. Not everything that happens in your town is the council's fault. And if you don't tell us about things, we don't see them. Yeah, exactly. Like complain about the pot hole. Yeah. Because if you don't, they don't know. Um, I brew beer and no, I don't want to test your home brew. I don't want to talk about your setup. That's going to cost me time. Oh, they're like a brewing to be done. A proper brewer. Yeah. I know where your parcel is without a tracking number. Curious. Yep. Um, vet industry, no, we're not price gouging. There's no governance subsidies in the vet industry. Like there is in human medicine. Yeah. Um, somebody said, uh, there's so many of them. Um, if you want to have a baby, don't leave it until you're late. 30s to start trying. The stats are not good. Freeze your eggs. Fertility nurse. Oh, okay. Yeah.

Um, I've missed the boat then. Yeah, I'm so sorry. Because I know how desperately you want to show them. Um, I work at a sleep clinic. I help people get CPAP machines. Um, no, I don't need to know if you put your in the night. It's not necessary. It's not needed. Um, I'm a news reporter. Stop asking me for more good news. I can't control what's happening in the world. Yeah. And, spoiler, not much good is happening in the world. No. Um, man, there's so many people at it. I hear your frustration. I love this. I know we've been able to have a Friday event. Yep. Get it off of our chest and maybe we've learned about some other industries. Yep. Yep. Oh, I'm an MRI radiographer. Yes, I know the machines loud. There's not a quieter machine. I have to sit and listen to it for eight hours every day. Yeah. So trust me, I'm well aware. Play, ZDM, Splitch, Vaughn and Hayley. Uh, I read it user said, Kyoto, when I lived in New Zealand, I used to buy damaged cars off the insurance options, some to drive around and some for the track. To find good ones, I wrote a little scraper, program that saved every man, home, New

Zealand damaged vehicle listing each morning. I live in Singapore now, but I never shut it off because a few mates back home are still using it. Three years later, I'm sitting on about 660,000 listings. So that's how many cars have been. When you said something, a report, a man, home report, a man, home, New Zealand damaged vehicle listing, they insurance companies, I think they buy them off the insurance companies right. And then sell them as rights or for parts or whatever. Yeah. So I'm sitting on 660,000 listings. And so they've compiled a list of the most written off cars, which would also probably coincide with the most popular. Correct. Or no, because they would be easier to fix, which he bit of fix. So Toyota is the most popular written off car, brand. One in five all written off cars, roughly 96,460,000 was Toyota cars. Which would make sense because that would be New Zealand's most popular brand, right? Yeah.

Yeah. Then Mazda, then Nissan, then Honda. Right. So all Japanese imports. Yeah. All Japanese brands. Front damages by far the most common damage to a car. So just going up someone's rear. Yep. So that's how most Kiwi cars die. One of ten list things in the last month was stolen or recovered. Oh wow. OK. So taken for a drawer in somewhere written off. And hybrids have gone in 2023, one in 18 written off cars were hybrids. Now it's one in eight. As they become more popular. Yeah. Wow. OK. So it's fascinating. Here we go. The most written off models of cars. Toyota Croller is number one. Yep. Suzuki Swift is number two. And the most important thing is the Demio is number three. Nissan Teda is number four. Now these are all small cars. Those Nissan Teda's don't look like they're taking it on that well. Just don't. I don't know what the MNCAT safety rating is for a Teda, but are you going to give that a red hot? I am, yes. Give that a red hot Google. The Aqua is in a fifth place. Then the Mazda XCroller, the Toyota Press and the Honda Fit.

So all smaller cars. And Nissan Teda has a four star N-CAP safety rating, which is fantastic. Tested in August 2006. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's for the model 2006 to 2012. The median amount of kilometers on the clock at time of right off. Yep. 157,000. OK. So when the damage that led them to being written off goes, first of all, front damage, then rear damage. So you know, details. Stolen recovered. Airbags deployed. Well, I can't get it's written off when the airbags go off. I guess I look an older car with a low value, like some of these cars mentioned, like a Teda. Once the airbags go off, you get them repacked and everything's kind of, yes. So it's been smaller. Wow. Water damage. And fire damage. Oh, OK. Yeah. Fascinated. It was really fascinating. It was really fascinating. It was just somebody who was just like, I wrote this program to do it.

So, yeah, that's crazy. The ZM Polkhouse Network. ZM splits one in Haley. I read this on the New Zealand Herald. Last night, it's a little bit of company synergy there for anyone keeping track. Yeah. A New Zealand lawyer is no longer practicing law because she lied to her employer to get bereavement leave. Now, someone had died, but it had been two and a half years and a strange family had not told her about this family member's death. So when she found out, she wanted some time off. Yeah. Her employer was like, could we get, you know, ask for some more details about the bereavement leave and she gave them a fabricated obituary. Like, she'd gone and placed an ad in the paper. Or she'd photoshopped it. Yeah. Oh, I don't know. What a great idea. She reported it to South to the law society. Oh, OK. When someone's... It's like, OK, you know, it's all good. Well, they didn't say it's all good, but she reported herself. I guess because she was worried someone would.

She wanted wood. Yeah, maybe. Yeah, front foot. Yeah, front foot, that kind of thing. Oh, OK. And that's... Yeah. That she got caught up in a lie and went crazy to get some time off. I mean, how much is an arbitrary cost? Per word, eh? It's per word. It's per word. Or Lisa? I'm going to Google what does what? You could think out of fake ad are loving Uncle or brother or a step sister of Vaughn. Yeah. Love Vaughn the most. Oh my god. Vaughn will be deeply heartbroken by this death. A news paper death notice or obituary news on typically cost between $200 and $600. We're getting a surprise of that. We're getting a discount for the herald wood. We're getting a discount. Get a staff discount. Is that on the benefits page? On the internet? I don't know. You go onto the internet, which is like the internet. Yeah. Just for compensation. But also you wouldn't want to fake a death notice paying for it with your company discount with the company you work for. Not to what. And I would have wanted it. I'm getting a way to do it.

You get a friend to do it. I'm going to have grandkids one day. I'm going to, like instill in them very hard from the word go. They're free at once. I'm dead. They can use me for anything. Yeah. There's me for any excuse you want. That's the key to getting out of work and faking days off. You don't use an alive grandparent. You can go to the dead ones. No, you can go to the dead ones. In fact, if I die anybody, feel free to use me for any excuse. Yeah. He would have really wanted me to have that last piece of cake. He would have. Something like that. Feel free to knock yourself out. We wanted to know this morning and we can be anonymous with this. When the light got deep into a light or the light got out of hand because I guess when you're taking out fake ads, it's getting a bit much. You're just all of a sudden. You're just spiraling into this web of lies. Yeah. That got somebody just messaged in. I honestly just feel free to tell. I tell people now if they didn't excuse you can tell the unself-guarded. Just say I've done it. Yeah. So that's why we want to know where the light spiraled, how far did it go, how deep was the lie?

Maybe it was with work and something. Also, I'd love to hear from people who knew something was up and launched their own little investigation into somebody else's lie. Only your house is lying. Yes. And that, because that always feels good when you're like, I don't trust that person. Everyone's like, no, they'll find the fun. And then you uncover something. Yeah, you are. Okay, great. Well, we want to take your calls now. I'll add 100 dials at him. We want to know when the light got out of hand. At school, my mate and I swapped names for a laugh with a student teacher. We went months and then felt bad. So we just stuck to it. And then we had to give it up when one of us was going on holiday. And it was going to be marked. And the other one was going to get marked. Yeah. So we had to explain to the parents where they were in the school. The head teacher was perched because I've got trouble ahead to go. On a night out, I developed a British accent. I started, ended up going home with a guy. There was a great vibe. So for the next three dates, I had to keep up the British accent until what. I called things off because it was too much work. Yeah. What if that was the man of your dreams? I guess you've always got to be British. You've always got to be British now.

Yeah. What if it was a good British accent? Or he just hadn't been to Britain? Or a terrible one. I ended up getting a bad tattoo because I told a hot girl I loved her. I said, I'm not so sure to go on a date with me, but then on said date. And after a few drinks, she said, I'll do that tattoo on you tonight. And I couldn't back out because I told her how much I loved her. No. So I've still got the tattoo. That's insanity. Yeah. There's so many. I once saw the guy I was seeing that I was moving overseas because I didn't want to date him anymore. Can you, my flatmates, no, though? So they all thought I was moving out. It was a whole thing. It was a whole debacle. I told her, I guess that's when you start your OE. Yeah. I told my boss I had a dentist appointment. Just I just wanted to leave work early on a Friday. Six months later, I'm still pretending I'm getting braces adjusted every second Friday. I don't even have braces. And what? That one that I just said on the inside. I just never asked to look at my mouth. He must just be like, is she like, like, he must be pretty sure of the boss. You can't see those inside braces. No, yeah, the bands. All you need to do is every now and then go to work like this.

Like, sorry. I feel like if it was the 90s of the 2000s, the boss would run a finger along your mouth. He'd run a lot of finger along the inside of your teeth. You know what? And it's PC madness. You can't put your fingers in your employees mouth anymore. It is disgusting. It is time to change. You know, how do I know she's not lying? Maybe some fingers in there. I told our girl that I could surf weeks sort of started seeing each other. And we went to Raglan for my birthday. She surprised me with the trip to Raglan because of course, I'd love to surf. I fell over on purpose. And faked a shoulder injury so that I couldn't do it. Oh, okay, good. Took a time without some stairs. Yeah, that's good. How good is that? Somebody said, I once told my girlfriend's parents at the time girlfriend that I was allergic to mushrooms. I just don't like mushrooms. And they had mushrooms and everything. What's wrong with you? I don't. Mushrooms are delicious. Yeah. 12 years later, and my mother and also will cook me a separate meal if they're having something with mushrooms. Oh, oh, oh. I'm just like, oh, oh. My husband thinks I'm having a lot of fun.

My husband thinks I'm a natural redhead. He always talks about how much he loves that I'm a redhead. Yeah. My wife's a redhead. Really goes on about it. It's not redhead. What about the pubes? That's together, right? I don't know. Sometimes redheads have a lot of shade of hair. Yeah, right. Maybe dark pubes. Yeah. I don't know. But yeah, women married now and he doesn't know that, you know, naturally I'm a blonde. But I've died at red. Okay. Still get it dyed. Every time I go to the hairdresser, you could go gray, I suppose. You could go back to blonde and just say that you go and gray because redheads do lose the color on your hair earlier than... Yeah. That's an expensive upkeep, though. Okay. Whoopsie Daisy. I had told the Mrs. I'd given up smoking. When I took the rubbish out to the end of the driveway, I'd have a smoke. One time she would come out and she would catch me. So through the smoke in the bin and it caught fire. I don't know. No word with her. Just got all those bloody kids. The name is Keds have been added again.

Smoked. That's why I smell it. Just got. Gumsetting them away. Play Z&M's, flesh, font and haily. Factor the day. Day day day day. Yeah. I do do do do do do do. Do do do do do. Do do do do do do. This week's Factor the Day is shipwrecks. And fact of the day is bought to you by St. P.S. today's sushi of the day is eight pieces of smoked salmon Av-O for $8.40. Now I'd also like to thank St. P.S. they've sent us a sushi cake, which is rice, put into a cake mold and then topped with sushi toppings, I think it looks delicious. I haven't cut into it yet, but I assume that would be the best. You just said you're gonna take it home for lunch and everyone in the office is like, what about us? Well, this is dear Vaughn. Well, why don't I get a sushi cake? Well, also, they're enabling my bad behavior. What bad behavior? I can't forget him. You don't, but you do, I get it eventually. I get it eventually. Yeah. We love in the facts you've been spilling on things and the mentions here's some sushi cake too.

Oh, it says to share with the team. Oh, there we go. If I want to work on home team, the home team. Is that what you call your relationship? The home team. The home team. Yeah, home team, home game. Today's fact comes to us from Bailey. Bailey is one of our international listeners and she is from Kansas City. And that's right, you too can listen to the podcast where ever in the world you are on the IHAR app Spotify, Apple Podcast, wherever you podcast. So I'd be doing the competitive apps. Not right. We've got a lot of cool to do. Yeah, company, yeah. Synergy with. She said, howdy Vaughn, here's a shipwreck story for you. Google the Arabia, the Arabia Steamboat Museum and the Arabia. So I've looked into Arabia. The Arabia was a paddle steamer that sunk on the Missouri River in September 1856. Wow, a long time ago. Near modern day Kansas City. OK, that's where Bailey's from. It had a submerged walnut tree trunk, which was called a snag. And the snags were the main things that took down river boats.

So river boats, flatter, the paddle steamer on the back, chuck a chuck a chuck a chuck. Yeah, and for those of us who grew up in Hamilton, of course, the way part Delta was out. Which they moved, didn't they? They got rid of that. They brought it to Auckland. Doesn't look right. And then it got taken somewhere else. That's an hepatic now, 9696. Where's the way part Delta? Where's the way part Delta? We could just get a 9696 on it. I've told the story. It's times, but I remember growing up, we were in farmers in the Sega corner, where they used to have like the Sega Mega Drive and the Sega Masters and stuff. And they changed the games out. And a young man was talking about how he'd just throw and pose off the Hamilton Victoria Street bridge onto the way part Delta. It was a common occurrence. It was a common occurrence. People would drop stuff onto the way part Delta. That's why it had the roof on it for those wondering. Yeah. The Steamboat, the Arabia, had a walnut tree and sunk. All the passengers got off, 130 people, which is quite amazing for 1856, and they all got off. A mule was the only live casualty. It was tied, of course, to the boat. OK. We didn't need to remove that. And the ass got taken.

OK. The ass got taken to the bottom of the Missouri. It was carrying about 200 tons of supplies because it was supplying frontier towns. And of course, you could get around on a horse and wagon, but river was the main transport route for the roads and rail got through there. So there was boats, clothing, dishes, tools, like everything, guns, preserved food. It was basically the contents of a general store. OK. A sunk. Now over the next 130 years, the Missouri River shifted. And where the wreck lay, no longer was a river. It became farmland. In 1988, the Hallies, our local family used old maps and a metal detector and found the boat under a cornfield. A Kansas cornfield. Because I guess all the what the silk would have covered it over. Yep. It sunk and just went into the super muddy base of the Missouri. And then the river shifted. And it was like half a mile. So 800 meters away from where the river was. And it was 45 feet underground. Wow. OK. That's the speed.

Divide it by three, you get meters. So 15 meters underground, which is an astronomically deep. Yeah. So it had been sealed. It went into mud and it got cut off from oxygen and much like the peat bogs preserving bodies. Yep. They dug up these bodies that were deprived of oxygen, which of course is needed for bacteria to break down. It was perfectly preserved. Oh, wow. So they excavated it. They spent ages excavating it. They didn't sell the collection. There was a jar of pickles there and someone opened it and ate the pickles and it was still good. What? Yep. 150 years after that sunk. I don't know if I did up the wound because there were other pickles. Same, but not 150-year-old pickles. I wouldn't. That'd be like Vaughn done open that jar. I'd be like those kids that they leave with one marshmallow and they're like, if you don't touch that, when I get back, you can have three marshmallows. I'd eat it. I'd be cranking the pickles and drinking the juice. So they opened the pickles. They didn't sell any of the collection. They made a museum. And that museum, the Arabia Steamboat Museum, is in Kansas City. They're still excavating stuff from the wreck.

Oh, wow. And you can go and see it. It's described as like basically the time capsule of 1850s. Of 1850s? Wow. Of the pre-civil war America. And you can go and see the, and Bailey has been to the museum. Yeah, right. And says it's a very interesting museum to go to. Nice. So today's spec to the day is a boat sunk in the Missouri River in 1856 and 130 years later was dug up 15 meters under a cornfield. Huh. Fat of the day, day, day, day, day. I did. Do do do do do do do do do, do do do do do do do do do do. Do do do do do do do do do do. Play ZMs. Flash one and Haley. Michael's love a team who I try to put them off. But sometimes they just literally want to buy something that you pay for exactly the same thing. You pay for five times as much for it, because they'll just, Shops have got it off drop-shipping.

You know? Yeah. So they love a T-Moo. And I need to do it. Who doesn't? It's bad, eh? It's bad. It's bad. I hate it, but I love it. And so much of it's crap. It doesn't work. And you got T-Moo because you bought that finger, cats, grachy. I know. And the cat on the photo looked giant. It was tiny. It was tiny. You've got it checked into mentions. But they said to me, what did you do? Where did you get stuff before T-Moo? And that's what I've come to all realization. The $2 shop is millennial tamer. Because when you're a kid, did you used to, like, you'd go past the $2 shop, you just, you didn't know what you wanted. But you had five bucks. Yes. And you said, you want to go to the $2 shop? Can we go to the $2 shop? And you can just sit there. You don't need that shit. That's what Mum would say. You don't need that shit. Just gonna waste money on some bullshit. And if it wasn't a $2 shop, it was like something similar. So I was, and then I kind of got a little, you know, this might surprise you. I got a little hyperfocus on something and did a day dive into what happened to the $2 shop?

Yep. To produce a girl East JNC, do you remember the $2 shop? Oh, it was so good. You're taking me back to having a pink finger bump from Baker's Light at the bottom. A finger bump. Sorry, a what? A pink finger bump. BUN! B-U-N! No, it's 696. Am I the only one that heard you tell me that you had a pink finger bump? Yeah, she handed it to you. A pink finger bump. What the hell is a pink finger bump? Like a Boston bump. Yeah, Boston bump. No, you're just a white one. They're just pink finger buns. They're just pink finger buns. Playing white bun? Yeah. Yeah, like, what's the name? It's called pink eye-sign on top. Yeah, I know that. They literally just call, like, by name, pink finger bunzer. Pink finger bump. I'm gonna keep on dancing with my pink finger bump. But yes, I went to the legitimate $2 shop. I used to get Scoobies as a big Scooby-Gear. What's a Scooby? They're plastic, kind of, long string, and you'd make Scoobies with them. Right. A little closer. What under them? Was it cheap Chinese products, shipping, and fashion, rising lease costs.

Hard pay your mortgage in $2 coins. And, like, other ones, other ones opened. Yeah, let your coin saves in $1,2, $3, and you're... $1,2, $1,2, $5, and plus. I was just like, you're just describing any store. Yeah, you're just a store now, dude. Yeah, you're just a store. I also feel like people kind of, like, revolted a little bit when they went to $2 and $5 shop or whatever. Yeah, they were like, how dare you go to $3? Yeah. Yeah. They branched out and renamed and were like, oh, we've got to have some more booze ether. Because I remember somebody... I can't remember exactly who it was, but somebody was on a TV show once, and they bought a $2 shop. Oh, well... They bought a $2 shop. And I remember that my mind was blowing because to buy into the franchise of the $2 shop was not $2. Well, I feel like... No, it was solid, expensive, to get out of the official brand. Yeah. I feel like also the $2 shop, there was a real, like, win and loss of it. Because some things you'd be like, man, a water gun for $2 is a sick,

but one pipe cleaner is not worth $2. Yes. Yes. Yeah. I would hype for a pack of pipe cleaners. Yeah, yeah, I'm just being hyperbolic, but... 9696. Did anybody ever use pipe cleaners for actually cleaning pipes? No. I only use them because what now would have crafts and that's how you needed pipe cleaners. Do you know they're very branded? What are they called now? Chineel sticks. Chineel. Yeah. Not like the wool, there's a chineel wool. I'm getting real, like, it's like, as you're official craft consultant. Craft consultant. Right, look at spotlight and stuff. Yeah. Because chineel sticks, they don't... It's only just occurred to me smoking pipes. Yeah, that's what they were for. That's what they were for. Yeah, they were for. Whoa. Yeah. How did you not know that? Piper codes literally in the name. I was just imagining a shit plumber. Yeah, really. Well, yeah, he would be a terrible plumber and still to pipe that small. Right, use Flushy Toilers. It's going to take two days to drain him. No, no, it's going to go down. It's going to go down. It's still a tiny pipe, but here's a bag of pipe cleaners. Yeah. My dad looked at buying a $2 shop back in the day, and each franchise cost $250,000.

Wow. Because they had to put in the branded carpet. Oh, okay. You know, the shop's all had the same carpet. Yeah, you know. Okay. And everybody else, definitely who'd you say, pink finger bum? There's multiple tips you could please apologize to the listening public now. Shannon, just so we don't go to the broadcasting standards authority and it's dying last few months. I am sorry that I described my bum as pink and fingered. The ZDN podcast network. No, this happened on the second of October 2015. You were on holiday. Yeah. And I pretty overseas. Well, yeah. Bali, I think. Yeah, the time. Yeah. But I was on holiday, but at home. Yes. And work called and said, we've had a last minute opportunity interview, Justin Bieber. Do you want to do it? And I was like, not really. That's a gun of guy. He's a company man. He's coming in. And he blocked out. Like, you can hang out with him for as long as you want. I was like, okay. So I came in on my holidays and I got to meet Justin Bieber, who, you know, I was, what was how old was I?

30 or mid 30s? Yep. Justin Bieber was like still in like his pop era. Yes. And he wasn't the, the, the, the ruffian that you know him as these days. Yeah. He was a bit of a cheeky, naughty boy though. And you got, you, and I just hung out with Justin Bieber for like ages, like over half an hour. We just, we recorded this insanely long interview that got mutilated down to a radio for only five or six minutes. Yeah. But it was just the, just hanging out podcast form interview chat hang for the very lovely Justin Bieber. And then it popped up on my memory today. And it's a fun of me and him. And even when at the time when I took the photo, people were just like, that's not real, is it? Because you do look like a believer who has a Photoshopped yourself into a photo with Justin Bieber. Yeah. It looks fake. Yeah, it does. Yeah, but it's real. And the photo, we've put it up. I guess it came up in your memories today. Ten years, ten or eleven. Hold on, let me tell you. Time. Time, man. At some time.

So it took an eleven years ago. Eleven years ago. Yeah, it was twenty-fifth-one, yeah, eleven years ago. So that's on our Instagram. Yeah, it's a post. Yeah, if you had to set him, if you want to see that. A real photo. A real photo. And I remember you saying when I was in holiday in a way, you're just saying, like, it was, I think you think you appreciated the fact that it was just a nice, not what he was used to. He was being, he was being hounded everywhere we went. Like, he got ushered into the building and then they shut the building off basically. Yeah. And he just mowsed it around. People had darts with people. Yeah. I think he wanted to hotbox something. Okay. I don't know what that means. I still don't know. I just remember thinking, oh, good this, though. Yeah. I'm off. Wasn't there something with a fish tank or a tank? Didn't we have some fish at the time? Yeah. Yeah, what happened with the fish tank? Was there something in the fish tank? I can't remember. I can't remember. He was a lovely, it was a very polite young gentleman, though. Yeah. And I wish him well. You wish him well. I hope he has all the successors. Is this eleven years later? He had some turbulent times since you were eleven. Eleven years for him. So I don't know if you put him on the right track.

Yeah. And this photo, he definitely looks significantly younger than he does when you see him these days. I still look at the same person as I was eleven years ago. So that's pretty cool. Have you had an age in the photo? A little bit. A little bit. A little bit. Yeah. Okay. I think he's got more tats. He's got... We've both got more tattoos. I've got one in total and he has significantly more tattoos than he had then. Well, you can see the photo F.E.H.ZM on our Instagram. The ZM podcast network plays ZM's flesh, woman, Haylees. Well, friend star, Joey, Matlabong has been seen zipping around Los Angeles on the California freeways. And a Ford Focus, a $20,000 Ford Focus. Okay. Now, those work discontinued in 2018. So it's at least that, that year's old. Right. And people are noting that from friends residuals alone, he makes $20 million US dollars a year.

Correct. He is worth about $85 million. Matlabong? Wow. And people are like, dude, it's driving a Ford Focus. It's not a zippy Ford Focus. Didn't your mum have a Ford Focus? No, my dad had a Ford Focus. That's right. Actually, we're sending a Mar and Q.M.A.R.E.S. horse stables. Okay. It's going to be Indies first car. It rules, man. Yeah. It's a zippy. It's all how. Well, Indie could be driving that as her first car. Matlabong, Joey, from friends, has a Ford Focus. Which is also people are like, dudes worth so much money, but also hosted top gear. Yeah, yeah. He hosted the top. Was it a American top gear? Yeah, just top gear that he was the, when Clarkson and, and I in that left. And he's a car enthusiast. Yeah. So this is what I wanted to know. Speaks volumes for the Ford Focus. And it doesn't it. This is what I wanted to know. Nine six, nine six, I like 100 does it. And maybe it's a key we think. Maybe it's not. But do you know someone that's really rich, but you wouldn't know it. Just walking past them in the street or seeing them around. Yeah. Because I feel like that's, I, I find like one lot of tomorrow.

There's no way I'd be buying like expensive clothes and like, you know, dressing in bloody gachi or Lewis Vuitton or whatever those brands are. I'm not supporting Louise Vuitton. And I imagine you'd be the same, right? Absolutely. Absolutely. Because nothing wank here. Even even the photo of Matt Leblanc waiting for his car or on the outside of restaurant. He's literally wearing an old Harley Davidson T-shirt sweatpants and added as trainers. Like you wouldn't look at that guy and think 85 million dollars. No. And driving a Ford Focus. I love it. It's understated. Damien's message. And there was this old fellow in master's and in the 90s and you'd see him rifling through bins and collecting aluminium cans. And I thought he was homeless. But when he died in the 2000s, it kind of, he was a millionaire. That just felt a thrill. Just like a towner. I feel like a towner, a towner. And he's a more than legend. He's the end, yeah. But I mean, you do hear of those old people that live so miserly in their scroogeous. Yeah. And then they die. Yeah. And they've got like a minute. And it's like, why didn't you just enjoy life?

They do enjoy life. Do they? They just enjoy it different. But yeah, when they've got, if it was me, I'd be traveling everywhere. Yeah, totally. Well, this is what we want to know. I'll 800 dials at him. 9696. Is there someone that you know who's really rich but doesn't look at? Marie, good morning. Hi. Hello. Good. So you've got a family friend. There are a millionaire. But you wouldn't know it. No. Well, he, um, he's never been a very flashy guy himself. But he's, um, he's a bit of a hoarder. He lives in a very run down house out in West Auckland. He, um, doesn't have any electricity. He's got no running water. He goes to the toilet at the nearby, um, way that he's in the on yard. Or in the nearby toilet, uh, train station across the road from him. Um, yeah, but he's used to own an orchard and he had, um, sold it and now is a millionaire. So one million, two million, three, like he's got a lot of money. Exactly.

That's a lot of money. But that's what, so he got the money when he sold his orchard. Is that what he was used to not being a millionaire and then he became one, but he just was setting his ways. Yeah, he, he couldn't kill it. But like go on a cruise or something. Or holiday or a little bicep of most clothes or something. Yeah. You're telling me a boat can have running water in a house. Do I have to shut off the side or a really? No, really. Really? There are toilets on a boat. Oh, that's unbelievable. What does he have kids? Is there someone that's not? No, no, single guy. He's very old now. He's very old now. He's very old. Marie, where did he get it? Marie, we've got to get, got to get it on that way. We've got to get it on the way. This is a thing. Here's some guy that's pretty freezing at night in winter. Yeah. In California electricity. It just doesn't want to because it's still expensive. Yeah. Wild. That's a wild, sorry Marie. Wild, wild. Uh, some more Texan. Do you know someone that's... I'm going to a drug dealer mate that does not live lavishly, but makes over $200,000

a year. See, that's a run in with drug dealers is they buy all these flashy, uh, and the gang members. They go and go crazy on these expensive... Yeah, the car's like, I've just got to ask, the gold-plated motorcycle. Because we've kind of had a look at the bank statements and there's not. Yeah. I'm just... You don't have a job, but you're in a gang. How are you affording this? See how this looks? Yeah, they don't. They never do, do they? My old boss was... I love this story. My old boss was really wealthy, estimated between $30 and $40 million. Oh. His net worth. Wow. Why isn't the supermarket he put back a block of cheese because he found one succents cheaper? That's why he's rich. Yeah. Like, again, like just live life, dude. My old boss was wealthy, like proper wealthy, but always bought his redden glasses from the $2 shop. Again, that's why he's wealthy. And drove a Toyota Prius and always had scruffy clothes. And see, then people aren't hassling him for money, are they? Because they don't think he's learning. He's learning. He's got any. Yeah. My mum reuses in the espresso coffee pods to get maximum coffee out.

And we'll save food scraps and expired food. Only shops at the sales, but drives an ass than Martin. Oh, wow. Okay. That's how she can afford their stuff. That's how she can afford it, yeah. My auntie and uncle were filthy rich. I'm talking millions and millions. Plural. The only way you'd know was their holidays. They have the most extravagant holidays around the world, but they always shop at cheaper places, only by stuff when it's on special. Drive ordinary cars. See, I feel like if I won Lotto, that would be me. Keep it up. Just have a simple car, live like that, and then just have amazing holidays. Yeah. Oh my god. Some of you said, oh my god, I know exactly who you'll ask all of us talking about. I can't believe there's still a life. Oh, wow. Okay. My dad made over half a million dollars last year and everything he owns can fit into a backpack. Wow. I like that. So he's not materialistic. Right. He's got a simple line. Yeah. But what about the latest Apple Foldie phone, you know, like that fits in a pocket, fits in your pocket, yeah. He can't in pockets as well as backpack. He's probably got a really old phone too.

He's got cargo pants, so he's got so many pockets for a stuff. Yep. Family friends living a $5.5 million house mortgage friend, denated in the guide drives. One of those old red hold on burinas with a paints faded. Why is it red cars get that worse than any other car, right? They do, don't they? They get that. Red cars get that sun fade really bad. Now there'll be a panel bed and a listening knowing exactly why. Nine six, nine six, nine. Maybe it's all cars, but you were just imagining red. Dark blue. Just any red is red. You're always there red car with a sunburn. Okay. Yeah, always. I'm standing by that. I'm having to go and record with that. Okay. Sure. Red cars get sunburn. Play ZM's flesh, one and Haley. Spark Arena in Auckland, the home of many a gig. Yes. Many a basketball game. A concert. Yep. Sometimes. Sometimes they do the I went to Hamilton there. Remember they did Hamilton. They did Hamilton. The Lion King. Yeah, they do the big musicals there. Oh, tell you what, full of red for not going to that Hamilton.

I only got on a Hamilton bus post Hamilton. Well, you are from Hamilton. A front Hamilton. A front Hamilton. A front Hamilton. A front Hamilton. Yeah. So there's an AI. There's an app. Now there's a Spark Arena app. And also AI technology to help with like food and beverage. Because they can be a bit of the complaint when you go to a show as you're waiting a while. Correct. Correct. So you select what you want and then cameras don't even need to scan a barcode. They can just tell what it is. And then you pay. Yeah. And then you're out. I went into, do you remember that time I spoke about going to the Singapore. I was on the Singapore airport. And there was a little, like a little shop, a convenience store. Yes. And the waiting area and it had no people in it. And it just knew what you took and you swapped your credit card. Yeah. Living in the future. My favorite story of this ilk would be when there was that supermarket that said, we just know there's cameras in its AI and it turns out there was just a call center in India. Sorry for that each person had a designated shopper that had fallen around and switched cameras

to see what they were grabbing. And was it there a similar story along those lines with cars and where they were driving and it was just people and cool. Driving the yeah, there was something to do with that. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Well, the technology has gone there. You pick up the food and drink. You're like, to purchase cameras, recognize it from any angle and then boop, you're out. So basically it means the queue will move as fast as you can. Yeah, right. So if you were like, you would just like grab, grab, grab, go. Yeah. Oh, easy. That's fantastic. No, even with pay-wave. Yeah, as parents in Marvel, like the Marvel stadium in Melbourne. Oh, okay, yep. I and a few different Australian stadiums and sports grounds. Right. Well, I'm seeing Harry Styles at Marvel in Melbourne. Oh, yeah. And November. So that'll be good tonight. Yeah. Well, it doesn't annoy me though because it was that lovely lady that worked at Spark whenever she saw us. Well, the people will still be around. Why won't them to be around? People will still be around. You should be lovely. Yeah. She'll be like, oh, that's falling on the floor. You better have that. The flesh running, hailey, big, big part.

UK woman, a marketing executive has sued her workplace for discrimination. It's always marketing. It's always the marketing department. That she's sued for discrimination because she believes they've gone against her philosophical beliefs when she was refused time off to attend a rock festival, a rock rising festival. It's weird when people want to take time off and it's time off. Like, it's not like they're just wagging work for the day. They're asking for it. They're saying, oh, I want to take some time off. They're like, no, they're allowed it. Yeah. Like, you've got these weeks to use. Yeah, even if it's a busy thing, just be like, yeah, as long as you get your stuff done before you leave or whatever. So apparently they were told that they couldn't cover her work. So they were refusing to leave. And I'm assuming she knew the festival was coming up. Months in advance, like that's not your problem. That's a huge them problem. That's a huge work problem. That's a huge them problem. Well, they can't cover your work. So it's gone to an employment tribunal.

She argued she had a protected philosophical belief that attending a music festival promotes human flourishing. However, a judge has dismissed her case saying her belief was not protected by a quality laws and it was more akin to a lifestyle choice. Right. Just like saying. She was trying to make a religious comparison. I think so. You wouldn't say no to me if it was a religious holiday. Holiday. Yes, maybe. Yeah, but she's like, my philosophy is, yes. Right. Okay. So what's the, is there an outcome? They've said, yeah, just that. He's dismissed the case. So always marketing that way. Always. I don't know if it'll wait. It'll wait. Yeah. Well, I mean, we've got a lot of festivals coming up in concerts. If you're in marketing, you're probably looking to pull some shenanigans. So don't. So don't. Is that the podcast done? Because I'm last in for a pose. I think for a pose. Jesus. Give us a review.
