MUSIC Jess Wilson faces her first major test as Liberal Leader in tomorrow's NAPI in Biolection. Labour has no candidate instead trying to secure votes for November's election, announcing an education boost of more than $1 billion. A bombardment of political promises on the final day of pre-polling in NAPI, almost half the electorate has already voted. The leading candidate's hopeful. Are you going to win? I look I'm massively optimistic. I'm fairly confident we've got a good shot at this. We're really confident. 210 days before the state election, this will be the first polling test for Liberal Leader Jess Wilson and the Victorian surge for Pauline Hanson's one nation. Its candidate is a local small business owner. This is first taste of politics. I feel like I've been strapped to the front of a freight train and it's running full steam ahead. In a good way? I'm a local who is frustrated as everybody else is about this electorate not getting its fair share. Voters divided. Where's my heart? My heart is for the local community and it's definitely not for Labour. I want Donald Trump for a presidency here to fix up this country to send a shot on this or Pauline, of course. Will Pauline be here by your side this weekend? I don't think so, but you never know with Pauline. She can surprise you. There are eight candidates here in the Pean Butt. Labour isn't one of them. The government today instead, busy on the other side of the bay, making another big spending pre-budget announcement. $1.6 billion in it to purchase more land, to build more schools, and to upgrade more schools. 55 government schools to receive renovations.

Today, warnings once again from the credit rating agencies about the importance of reigning in the reckless spending here in Victoria. Paul Dersley, seven.
