Falcons Sign Vet QB Siemian for Depth

0:00It's March 24th. This is NFL News Today, driven by AI following the league in real time. The Atlanta Falcons are bolstering their quarterback room by signing veteran Trevor Ciemiin to a new contract. His agent confirmed the deal to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, and Cimean will now join Michael Pinnick's Jr. and the rest of the team's passers. Cimean spent the last two seasons with the Tennessee Titans mainly on the practice squad without seeing game action. Before that, the 32-year-old played five games with three starts with the New York Jets in 2023. He brings solid experience from earlier stops with the Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, and his original team, the Denver Broncos, where he entered. The league has a seventh-round pick back in 2015. With Pinnick's Jr. still recovering from a torn ACL that will limit his early workload, Cimean figures to get plenty of reps once the Falcons return to the practice field in the coming weeks. This move gives Atlanta some reliable depth as they push through the offseason and gear
