All right, joining me today on IHib news is Jake Schroeder. He is known on social media as at frosted Jake. He is a content creator and a songwriter who has built a huge online audience by putting his own musical spin on the news. And by that, I mean, he writes songs that bully MAGA. And that is a direct line straight to my heart. Jake, welcome to IHib news. Thank you, Joe. I'm so happy to be here. Hi, I have. Hello. Hello. So I think it's so important to bully conservatives because they understand this. They belittle immigrants. They belittle gay people. They belittle women. They belittle poor people, sick people. Yeah. And so we need to speak their language and kind and belittle them back. And you have a whole feed where you write songs dedicated to bullying them. Of course.
I think the best sort of bullying or attacking is the most creative. So like the more you can think outside the box to make a point about someone, like it will have a harder punch is how I feel about it. And the numbers don't deny that. They don't. I mean, it's a, you're an absolute sensation. And before you blew up on social media, you worked as a software engineer at Grindelwald and tell us about these crashes, these Grindel crashes. It's a whole thing. Like every conservative convention that they have Grindelwald always goes down. Like the system is just overloaded with users. And there's some like the brain is. I mean, no offense, no shade to the team there. It's like not the best app in the world. Anytime you hit any button, like four ads pops up and like I was at terrible at my job too. I was like, what's that? But like either way, like the, like in those conservative spaces, like it just completely
crashes. And it's always like conservative people using the app in a closeted situation, because they can't have the dignity to extend empathy towards other communities and need to sort of harbor secrets in themselves and like become these callous to people who, I don't know, share horrible ideas that are anti-immigrant, anti-women, anti-gay people. It's kind of ironic, but also deeply really funny. Yeah. Yeah, which it is. It's both sad and funny at the same time. How important do you think it is? Like if we know of a Republican politician, let's just say hypothetically that it's Mike Johnson or Josh Hawley, hypothetically, that they are at night doing gay stuff. And some brave American hero were on Grindr and had evidence of this. Do you think it's important to out hypocritical Republican anti-gay politicians if they do gay stuff off the clock?
Yes. I do too. I think that's controversial. I think it like within the queer community, people would say that's divisive, but I think the wrong doings on the conservative politicians side outweighs the inner queer sort of harm because first of all, they're not even in the queer community. So I think it's okay to do that. And I've done this before. I was messaging with the CEO of a big AI company on Grindr and I screen-shot it and I posted it and was like, he was like, I'm lonely in the horny and I was like, and evil. So let's focus on Tim Cook and Sam Altman because this is fascinating to me. Gay guys. Two gay men who are colluding with white supremacist, patriarchal, fascist forces that I think if I were to bet on it, like the first couple that would get kicked out of the club might be the queens.
Probably. I mean, don't you think? I think the reason that they have access to the club is because they're cisgender white men who appear to be straight. Like Sam Altman is not queening out when he's talking about AI. He's not like, this robot's going to kill everyone. He's like, this robot's going to kill everyone. Right. Right. And same with Tim Cook. So that allows them this access to these spaces of mass destruction and evil incarnate. But I think, yeah, you're right. I think they would be the first to go. And they're willing to carry the water for Trump instead of standing in conviction. You know, a president's term is only four years. We're almost halfway through this nightmare. I mean, it goes by pretty quickly. I mean, it doesn't feel like it right now, but four years is not that long. And the fact that instead of saying, look, we're not going to go collude with these bigots, with these homophobes, with these transphobes, with these utter, you know, gutter races. We're going to stand back over here, keep our pronouns and our pride flag in our company's
business and say, F you. Yeah. You know, like that to me is probably the most devastating thing about Trump 2.0. Trump being Trump is just whatever. He's a prick. He wakes up. He's a prick. He wakes up each day even more of an incompetent prick or a once repeat. But the amount of people that completely debase themselves like Sam Altman and Tim kick. Whenever fall comes back around, it always feels like a fresh start. This year, I've been layering in some styles from the new Lou Le Mans fall drop because the weather is shifting and I find I have to be ready for the entire day and not just one part of it. Lou Le Mans fall line has some really versatile transitional pieces so I can just wake up, throw on a matching set, add a jacket or a fleece and head out, knowing that I'll feel comfortable enough to go wherever the day takes me. Check out the new fall arrivals in store and online now at loulelemmon.com. I think on the note of them being in that room, when you create a company, Tim Cook was
Apple. He didn't create Apple, but he led Apple. Sam Altman is open AI. I think that you're creating a source of power. Power over everyone. The technology that everyone uses, we all use iPhones and we'll probably all use Chat GPD soon or have it in a system somewhere. I think to be the person that makes that system reflect a desire to have power in oneself. Go to the political sphere, seems like a desperate attempt to have more power. More than capital power have this political power. But the one thing that they lack is cultural and social appeal, which is awesome. It is awesome. It's a great way for us to resist their technologies, which I think are inherently one-sided, which
side for them to maximize profits at whatever happens to the population. They don't care. They literally don't care at all. And you, in addition to Sam Altman, and going after him, you go after people like Erica Kirk. I go after Erica Kirk as well. The reason that I personally went after Erica Kirk was that after I condemned the killing of Charlie Kirk, I couldn't stand Charlie Kirk, but I condemn anybody being murdered like that swarm. Her behavior after the fact and her just from her hovering over the corpse and then posting that on television, on social media was unreal. The Debbie Debbie funeral, the Nazi speeches at the funeral grind her crashed. And then the way that she talks about women, having kids, even if you can't afford them, I think she's a very dangerous grifter, and I think she deserves to be condemned.
And I'm pretty, I would have, if she acted crazy on a couple of instances, I'd be like, okay, grief. She's consistently out crazy. I heard Torah is so insane. Make America crowded again. Unbelievable. So tell me why you think for your generation, it's important because she goes after young people. She exploits and tries to get them into her Christian nationalist cult. Why was it important for you to personally go after Eric Kirk? Well, my gateway and was seeing the videos of this tour where she would walk the grief tour where she walks out and there's confetti and fireworks and she's in this sparkly pantsuit talking about her grief. And I was like, just, I don't really, I don't like dabble so deep and conservative stuff. I don't watch it all the time. I like get what I need to get and move on with my day. But I saw this and I was like, that's dramatically just crazy and bizarre. And I did some research and was like, the things she's saying are so dangerous and violent
towards women and like, just like perpetuating these stereotypes that only further us and don't bring anyone together. And I think like, my way of attacking was to comment on sort of the aesthetic and the stupidity of everything because it makes no sense to grieve with such sparkle and like badasement. It's not a musical on Broadway. Yeah. So I, that's sort of like my way in and the danger that I see for Gen Z, especially because we're so malleable. Like, sometimes I literally get my news from TikTok, which is horrible. And I sit there and I realize like, oh my god, I need to like get the New Yorker or like read NPR or something. But this is what we're doing all day. We're scrolling. We're addicted to these things. To be in that echo chamber of like Christian nationalism, it's so easy to just fall in. Like, sort of similar to like the manosphere to me. Like you can just like, like get so addicted to these people who are like gods, but not
like distance yourself critically thing. Like, that's sort of my remediation. Yeah. I thought it was really bizarre, something I thought was bizarre because I consumed a lot of her content briefly thereafter because it was, it was so weird. Like, I had to watch it. But what struck me was that Charlie Kirk, this young person, young dad, young husband, was shot with a gun. And she's never, not one time spoken out against gun violence. Like if your child, if your husband, I have a friend, I had a dear, dear beloved person that worked for me for five years. And two years ago, he was shot and killed in a robbery in it. And my immediate, it's terrible. It's 24 years old and it's gun violence. You know, that's what killed him too much access to guns, too many guns in the hands of people that shouldn't have them. These are uniquely American problems. And I was just fascinated by somebody who was touched by gun violence in the last two
years. And I kept waiting for her to talk about what killed her husband. And she never did. And she never does. And instead she's talking about white male men, not the, you know, the postman. But like my sons, white heterosexual men don't allow people to bully you. And I'm like, my son ever came home. And I've got a 24 year old and a 20. Yeah. They're little kids and somebody bullied them in the school. That's a different story. But these young adults, they came home and were like, we were getting bullied because we're white and we're privileged and blah, blah, blah. Quit me in a pussy. Seriously. Quit me in a pussy. Nobody's bullying you. I don't want to hear this nonsense. You know, immediately I would. And so that was just a, it was a really fascinating thing. But the turning point and the Christian nationalism and the tradwives and then all the fascists and then the Epstein files, all of that fits under this umbrella.
Completely. So you have like these pedophiles, which is disgusting. We're fine. Right? Yeah. And then you have these crazy tradwife Christians like Eric Kirk. And they all advocate for the same thing. And I just think Jesus Christ, they need to be bullied. It's very male centric. Yeah. Everything is about man. Even when Eric Kirk was defending herself from the comedian Druski. Oh, right. And she said that he was doing white face. Yeah. And she was wearing this like, literally like a mega hat. I think on a podcast. And she said that he was doing white face and it was so offensive. I was like, first of all, that does, that's not real. White face is not a thing. Like there's no system of oppression that like white face fits into. And it's not something that someone can do to like offend white people because racism doesn't work that way. And she like uses that angle, even like just like, I don't know, like she's uses a black man to make this Christian nationalist like stance and point.
And I'm like, not once does she ever talk about women, unless it's in the role of subordination and like being like a prop for men to like a tradwife like, like the book, yes to a year, you know this book? Yes. Yes. And so the whole thing is so bizarre because you see this like these patriarchal systems. Yeah. And then when I see the women that are in it, doing the work, like Eric Kirk is able to do what she does right now because of feminists. For her to be able to even feminist that fought hard for women's rights. Oh, yeah, yeah, totally. To where a woman could be on stage and people would buy tickets and go listen. Yeah. Born in 1974, Jake, the year I was born, women was the first year that women could have a credit card in their own name. That's crazy. So for me, I'm as a gen Xer, I'm abundantly aware of the work that feminists did before
me to have this microphone to have handmade on the Supreme Court. Yeah. Yeah. That these women that carry the water for the patriarchy that do all of this work are able to have these positions because of the feminist movement, because of progressive causes. Yeah. Like Eric Kirk is, she won't want to admit it. Just the same way that Riley gains is popular because of the LGBTQ plus movement. That's you're welcome. Exactly. You know, she should be, I mean, leach ringleader at the Pride Parade because she would have no career. True. Yeah. Because she just tied it fifth place. And so it's a real fat. It's a real fascinating cultural thing. And I'm from the Bible belt. And so I know how demented these women are in the men. I mean, I don't know. Where do you think it comes from? The Bible. Yeah. Like what? What is the, I'm Jewish. What is that? What does it say? There's a, there's a, I'm sorry. There's it.
There's a sect of Christianity. Not like when I passed the churches that appear in New York, the Christian churches. Yeah. I think God, I wouldn't be such a cynical hater of Christianity if I would have grown up here because I passed a church and there's like a pride flag, a trans flag, black lives matter flags, refugees welcome here. Yeah. And I'm like, well, that's nice. That doesn't make me want to drive my car through the front of it. The churches in Oklahoma City are all about, they teach this component of Christian narcissism, your personal relationship with God. God is surveilling all your thoughts. And it's you, you, you, and you put Jesus first in you. Jesus first in you, never is about like a bigger picture of helping marginalized people or lifting people out of poverty is this very white capitalist form of Christianity. And in it, you have the group, the biggest group of submissive people on the planet, both men and women. They have to submit to God first. And the Old Testament God, I think it's the same in the Torah as the Bible.
Sure. Not a great character. No, not great. Genocide, all jealous. All those are. That was fucked up. Yeah. So fucked up. Yeah. I mean, really, I mean, really not somebody you think. And then like jealous, like don't worship other gods. Yeah. I mean, you know, they still are very fixated on that component. And the subjugation of women is a huge, huge part of it. And they start with little girls with a virginity as soon as they can talk. In sex. The church immediately starts talking to children about sex and not having sex when they should be playing with Barbies. And you know, it's so perverse. It really is. It's a really, but if you think about it, the people who are covering up for Epstein are the same people that groomed their children as their toddlers, they're talking to them about, now don't have sex until you're married. And you're saying this to a four or five year old. You're talking about sex. Right. Shouldn't you talk about that at 13 or something? Right. As they're approaching hormones. Yeah.
Of course. That's so weird. We're at conversation to have with a toddler, but not don't let people touch your privates. That's yours. Of course. But I mean, it's a really weird group. Really impressive. And then at this time, all those same people are at the conservative convention on Grindr. Exactly. Like, what is that about? Because they're so sexually repressed, all of them. Yeah. And so they're unable to, this is the way my theory about all of this is. At a very young age, these children are told you're born bad. Yeah. And the only way you can be good is to get saved. At the same time, they're also told you cannot have sex. It's the worst thing you can do. And God knows because he's surveilling every single fucking thought you have. If you think about beating off, if you think about wanting to kiss your teacher, if you think about wanting to kiss the boy sitting next to you, God knows that's a sin. I'm not feeling like God would hate me. Exactly. Right? So imagine the psychosis that's formed. I had all these friends and they were constantly, they were in a state of psychosis thinking like, I'm bad.
I'm bad. Well, guess what? Hornbones happened to everybody. Yeah. And we're genetically hardwired to screw. It's Darwinian. And I have a lot of mistakes. Exactly. We can fuck up and that's okay. So I think a lot of these Christians want to be punitive towards the object of their desire. If it's a woman, that is really deep. Yeah. If it's a woman, then, okay, no abortions for her. No birth control for her. If she had sex out of marriage, that baby is her scarlet letter and we'll select shame her that way. Wow. And if it's a gay person or a queer person, and that's the object of their desire, like, let's say hypothetically again, or something. Lindsey Graham or Mike Johnson, or then they want to be punitive towards the gay community because they think, oh, that'll fix me. If I make this community not exist, it's totally. And shame them. So that's why I think you see so much punitive measures in the law from this conservative
movement because they're so broken, they're faith broke them at a very age. That's my assessment. It's like hatred. Well, first of all, that's an amazing assessment. Thank you. Thank you. The idea of desire is so interesting. Like, hatred is just a projection of like an insecurity that you have towards someone. Like, sometimes I get comments on my social media that are like anti-gay and slurs and stuff like that. And I'm like, okay, this person's not talking directly to me. It's probably they're saying something to themselves or like having this moment of reconciliation with who they are and what they're saying and like, it's not a personal thing. And I think that same principle is like, why Lindsey Graham is like trying to come for specifically the gaze and like that is reflective of something that is probably happening in his brain and what he thinks about himself and like what he wants in his own desires, which is so dark and like, it is. It's sad. But then I think there's a lot of comedy in it like for someone like Erica Kirk, because
her repression is that of like a tried, tried wife, right? Like a woman who needs to be in the kitchen and like scrubbing the floor like that. But she has a full time job. Full time job. On tour. On tour with a bedazzled suit and fire and like, eagles flying through the stadium. It's so strange. It's like overcoming this expectation of her, which is like, what's the opposite of triumphant? Like, it's such a defeat. And it's like a downfall of American culture. Like, it makes me sad when I see. I grew up with the in Erica Kirk culture. Yeah. She grew up in a Bible belt state. Oklahoma, right? Oklahoma. Nothing that she did or the way the funeral was surprised me. What surprised me was they did it nationally. And I think there was a backfire to it. Because even in Bible belt states, so there are the crazy mega-churchers.
Yeah. And in my group. The mega-church stuff is crazy. Not. Have you been? Yes. It's nutty. And so there's the mega-churchers and they think they're like, okay, we're the best. Our church is the coolest. It's terrible architecture. Sure. And so there are different structures. Our complete rifters out the wazee. I've seen the interteriors of the vocals and they're really suffering. Like the notes aren't being hit. The band's are terrible. The music's awful. But the... Some of the spectacle is actually shocking. Like, there are people flying through the sky. Yeah. And in a way, the New York theater is not accomplishing in this moment. So I'll give them that. But beyond that, I think the message is a little terrifying. No, it's terrifying. And I think that when they took that mega-church thing national with Erica Kirk's, which Harley Kirk's funeral, there was a backfire because even in Oklahoma, a conservative Oklahoma where the majority of people are probably evangelical. But my friend group, I'm nathias, but in my friend group, there's like an Episcopalian Methodist. And these people are what I call, you know, just kind of Christian light, if you will.
They don't take the Bible literally, but it's an important part of their bringing an identity or whatever. It's more cultural. But cultural, right. Yeah. But when they see mega-church people, there's always this, Oh, God, these mega-church, they're so trashy. Yeah. There's this like Christian on Christian crime that happens. Whoa. Among true believers that see mega-church people as just like trash, that's the trashiest, nouveau-reached form of Christianity. Is that a class thing or? No, it's because, okay, here's what happens. During Easter or sometime, the mega-churchers get on Instagram. And they're like the dunk tank, and you see people getting like baptized, and they post it, or like he is risen, and they have the stuff that you're talking about. And you just look at any normal person's going to look at that and go, this is trashy. Or the people with the hands up in the air while they're singing. And it's, you know, it's like this. It's like an all-way choir singing like gospel. And there's something like that. Not even gospel. It's like really bad rock.
Like really, Christian rock is like, it's really like elevator music meets rock and roll meets Christian trash. It's really bad. What are some of the songs? Kylie went, Kylie. Bless it be the name. Blessed be the name. Okay. They're all about the exact same stuff. My God is an awesome God. That's a great idea. My God is an awesome God. I was opposed to your God. My God is an awesome, should we like close read that sentence? I remember, I remember when that song first came out, I was popular. I was in high school. And I remember thinking, my friends telling me, because they were always trying to convert me. There's only one God. He is, you know, the Alpha, the Omega. He's on, on, on, on, on, on, on, all of this stuff, right? Non-stop. And I remember when the song came out, my friends were singing. And I was like, but if your God is an awesome God, then what does that mean about the other gods? I thought you said there weren't other gods.
And they would just be like, well, I mean, that's just the stuff. Because, I mean, why do you have to say my God? Why hate, that's hateful. Right. Okay. So I believe that you have a little sampling that I want to leave our listeners with some of your trolling songs. I'd love to. And so go follow Jake at Frosted Jake online, because anybody who can so brilliantly and talentedly troll maga deserves to be followed. And so I'm going to, he brought his keyboard, you guys. I did. So we get to hear him troll Erica Kirk. Is that what the one you're doing? Yeah, I have a couple, like really short ones. Oh, let's do them. Okay, great. Okay, let's go. Okay. This one is for Erica Kirk. Okay. Erica. America is very, very, very scary. Erica. And this is based on that video where she was wearing the hat.
Yeah, yeah. About white face. Like where Erica is your Erica. It looks like you're in the swatica. Swastica would fit on you. Also, nothing's wrong with white face, because there's no context of systemic oppression. Girl, get out of my face, Erica Kirk. You're stupid as fuck and being a jerk. Erica Kirk, can you go away? I'm missing the days when I didn't know who you were. That's what I was there going. That's so good. I love it. Do you have any others? Yeah. Okay. I have, do you know Elon Musk? I have heard of him. He has mean tweeted about me before him. Really? Yeah. And that I, Jennifer Welch, is a ghoul, to which I plead guilty as charged, as it pertains
to him. And the other one is I am just as evil on the inside as I am on the outside, which I guilty, again, guilty as charged. And I wear it. I wear it as a badge of honor that the richest man in the world is consumed with what a 52-year-old podcaster says about him. Yeah. How little do you have to be? How little does your penis have to be? Exactly. Yeah. It's crazy that he's a trillianar. Like, that amount of money does not make any sense to me. No. And it also, it's like the thing about culture, politics, and power. Like, you are culture. You have this power over him that he can't grapple with, which is like so fierce to me. Oh, thank you. That's a good way to fit it. I love that. Um, okay. This one's more experimental. Okay. Um, but it's about his, uh, well. Okay. Um, he's got that musky money in the bank and Mr. Dusty musk needs one fat spank because
the world is starving and a trillianar could fix that, right? Yes. Like, if he paid for all the food for everyone to eat, he could end world hunger. Instead, his legacy will forever be the richest man that killed the most poor people ever with the USAID cuts. He's got that bouillard, boule-la in his lap. And Mr. Dusty musk needs one fat slap because the world is hungry and a trillianar could fix that. A trillianar could fix that but a trillianar wants to be on a boat looking fat. Obviously, that photo. Yes, sadly, unfortunately. A trillianar could fix that but a trillianar just needs to wear a big ugly hat that's red and says, naggo. That's my, that's my, you're on the screen. Thanks for doing the intro. Oh, yes.
Of course. Of course. And I think you're right about culture and us belittling these people because at the end of the day, they are horrible people in their duarks. There's nothing admirable about anything that they do. They have no talent. They just have no morals, which has helped them exploit people to become as wealthy. Completely. And also, like, as a professional attention seeker, I can tell when people want attention for the wrong reasons, right? I think like to make songs and like have political ideas is like an effort to heal the world and like bring people together and understand problems that we're facing, right? Yeah. When someone wants to be a politician who is dividing people and tearing them apart and tweeting all this stuff about 52-year-old podcasters, it's just so sad. And like the motivation is far beyond evil, I think.
I do too. Yeah. I think it's far beyond recently this weekend a clip came out of Peter Teal about evil people, at least they get stuff done. So now they're starting to say the quiet part out loud because they know the public perception and it's a lot of it's bipartisan now. I mean, the one thing about this billionaire class that it's doing is we're fighting myself strange bedfellows with certain right wingers online like, oh shit, we're agreeing about this issue. So hopefully with the cultural attacks and with what you're doing with your keyboard, we let art and we let diversity prevail. And so Jake, I cannot thank you enough for coming on and bringing your keyboard. It's so much fun. Go follow, Jake. Jake, thank you so much. Thank you. And thank you, I hip news. Love y'all. Yes.
