This episode is brought to you by State Farm. No two football players are exactly alike, and the same is true off the field. That's why State Farm gifts to know you so they can help personalize coverage for your life and budget. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. If I were to say the name, Ray Gunn to you. Would that mean anything to you? No. I was watching the Today Show today, and... Flag footballs in the next Olympics. Really? Yup. Flag football is in the next Olympics. Flag football, okay. I think there's some more sports than that. Well, give me one. This might actually go right along with what I'm saying. Do you remember when they put in break dancing?

Okay. Yeah. Do you remember anything about the break dancing? I remember that there was one individual. I think she was female. I think she was making a mockery of the whole thing, but maybe not. She was not sure she was from Australia. Yeah, that's right. No way. Her name was Ray Gunn. Okay, I didn't know. They did, and so have you ever seen these untold documentaries on Netflix? So they did a whole documentary. It's about an hour long about her and that performance. It does not disappoint. I've watched it twice actually. It's so good. Is it real? Like it's real. It's real. It's real. She won her qualifications. Well, how is that even possible? You got to watch it. I am what to call it again? Ray Gunn. I think it's called breaking badly.

I'm not sure if it's true. I'm not sure if it's true. It's a great hour. Everybody remembers that. And they talk about that. Like every single person in the world knows maybe not her name, but they know what country she's from. Well, you have to give her credit for getting up there and probably knowing that she's well out of her league. But you know what? She did it. And how many people have the opportunity to go to the Olympics? Well, I think that's part of it. Like she, but anyway, her parents are amazing. 99% of it is basically taking in the environment of the whole thing. And she was, she was one of the athletes. She was naive. She was naive. That's okay. That's okay. But she, when you watch the documentary, you can't not love her. Yeah. The husband is unbelievable. And her parents are awesome too. So anyway. Good. I'm sorry for what I was talking about. I definitely give that a, you wasted five minutes of my life that I won't get back. But you know what? Listen, that's awesome. The point is, flag football in the, in the, in the next Olympics.

Okay. Which I think is embarrassing. Okay. Yep. We'll get to the Sabre injuries in a little bit. We'll get to all the news that's going on around the league. But first and foremost, huge trade yesterday with between Columbus and Toronto. What were your thoughts when you heard the deal? I think it's, I think it's a proper equal trade for both hockey clubs. I think if I'm Toronto. Why am I really making that deal? I think Matthew Nies at the age of what? What was he? 23 years old. Six foot three two hundred thirty pounds scores. He's a thirty goal score. He's going to be over 60 points a year. He plays the right way. He's a great teammate. He makes a whopping how much, how much money does he make? Do you have any idea? I'm not, I don't want you to look at it.

Seven point, I'm not looking it up. Seven seven point eight. Maybe. I was going to say seven six and I'm going to confirm this as we're talking. But I just don't understand the reasoning for Toronto to make that deal. He makes seven point seven five. Marchenko comes into Toronto signs a six year deal for twelve point five million dollars. This is Matthew Nies. I think they both wanted out Craig just to kind of like you want to figure it out. I just both wanted out. I think Marchenko. I think Marchenko and Columbus both wanted to par ways. And I think Matthew Nies, here's the rumors about maybe getting traded at the deadline to Toronto. And then he's an American. He's American. American kid. Where's he from by the way? Why do I feel like is he an Arizona boy? I think he is. Yes, he is. He's from Phoenix Arizona. Phoenix. Okay. Like you don't think he would be moving there from you know with awesome Matthews being his line made.

How many years does Matthews have left on his deal? Two. Two. You think he's going back to Toronto? I don't think they don't need to have that conversation. Yeah, that's you think he's going back to Toronto. I don't. I don't. I don't. Unless Matthew Nies knows that. Maybe. Yeah. I think Matthew Nies more upset that his name was out in the in the trademark. Like how many times did we talk about Matthew Nies? You know, four or five months ago when his name was popping up all over the place. And there was a frenzy all over the place. Do you not remember the Montreal Canadians was were pretty deep into the Matthew Nies trying to do require him? I do. I know what you're talking about. Here's the thing that was more surprising to me than the least trading Matthew Nies was that Toronto and Montreal were going to make a big deal like that. Yeah, it shocked me. Not characteristic of the two hockey clubs. You drive that was one deal with each other. Yeah.

Yeah. He has a fantastic contract. I think it's I think it's an incredible incredible contract. I love this deal for the Columbus Blue jackets more than the Toronto Maple Leafs. Same. Okay. Because I think you're getting a better overall teammate. And that's it. That's what it comes. I think Marchenko is more talented. I read it online that he was he came to shape. You know, so it's had the meltdown at the end of the year last year like the. Yes. That all upset talking about. Yeah. Three hits 26 giveaways. Yeah. Something to that effect. It's right. I think Marchenko was. One of the players he's talking about. I think he's one of the players he's talking about because we read about it. You know, so I read that yesterday that and I didn't really even think too much of it. I mean, I just started to be some stuff that came out in the last day or so about a possible trade between Marchenko and.

Matthew dies. I still didn't think a whole lot of it because he just hear these rumors all the time. But this came fast within a day and a half of this really coming to light. The trade was made. There was. Listen, Marchenko. I read just the other day that he came to camp in rough shape. Yeah. He wasn't. He wasn't in great shape. So it's off their hands. They've got Matthew Nies who I think is a fantastic hockey player younger than. He's really, really played well. He's had some great seasons, but these guys. To me. Are very similar. And I am a big fan of the Matthew Nies move for the Columbus Blue Jackets because I really do believe that you're. Not only an awesome player, big power forward, a guy that can score goals, but you're going to get a really, really good person in the dressing room.

And I think that's important for Columbus moving forward with their team. All right, let's talk about some other news in the NHL Logan Stanley signed a one year. What, $1.5 million deal. Yes. With who? The New York Islanders. And I watched that signing and. I'm really surprised. I don't know what's going on that he would only sign a one year deal for $1.5 million. I don't know what's happened. It's crazy. Isn't it? He had 21 points at 59 games in Winnipeg last year. Yes. I'm not saying people. I don't want to hear one person tweet me or say anything to me like, oh, you're crazy. He's terrible. He's this. He's that for me, Logan Stanley is a solid, a big, big framed hockey player. I do not want to be playing him 22 minutes a night.

I want to play him 13 minutes a night. I want him to understand his role on the team. I want him to defend. I want him to defend. I want him to be highly physical. And I want him to be a protector of all. And if you can do that, he's going to be making a hell of a lot more than $1.5 million. I'm extremely surprised with this signing. And I would have taken him back to the Sabers for $1.5 million. He thought he would be signing for like five, five and a half. I don't think we ever got that high. We were in the forest realistically, but I mean, you know how much, but why would the Sabers take a shot at him? Why wouldn't they call and see if something like this? I would have paid him two million with the one will get into the injuries in the injury update, but I would have paid him here to come back. You need someone like that. I don't give a shit. He's so tall. Who's a great comparable to him? I think Logan Stanley, his comparable is a Nicholas Hagg.

Who ended up signing a contract last year as an unrestricted free agent. He signed a Nashville. He's six foot six to hundred and forty pounds. He is a third pair of defensemen. Do you want to know how much he makes five point five million dollars on a four year deal? It certainly did not go the way Logan Stanley wanted it this summer. I think he's very surprised that he could not come to a deal better than one point five million dollars, which a one point five million dollars cap hit in the NHL is basically borderline your lowest contract on your team. It's, it's, to me, it's crazy. But good for the islanders for picking him up for one year. Hopefully he can play really well on that team and we'll see what happens in the next year. Maybe, maybe the reality is he's hurt. Maybe he was hurt after the playoffs last year and teams weren't willing to take a shot on him for a long term deal.

That's speculation because I mean, why wouldn't he have signed? Any team would want a guy like that on the roster deal would have been made some way shape or form, right? So maybe he was maybe he was hurt. The other thing I want to talk to you about before we get into how about the Jersey tuck situation with Trevor Zegres, especially in today. It's more about the flash and dash and wanting players to feel like they they can have their individual look to them. That being said, I can understand why the NHL wants Jersey's untucked. They want to be able to show the number. That's the number one thing. Some of these players they tuck their Jersey in the side like the Wang Red ski and then you can't even see what happens on it for years. There's lots of guys you can talk. I have done the Jersey talk. Yeah, I don't there's no one out there that I can sit there and think why now because I watch a ton of hockey.

I watch a ton of hockey. I'm watching players around teams around the league. Players around the league. It hasn't been anything that has come to my mind to say, wow, this has got to change. Well, they want to be probably like the NFL doesn't the NFL have uniform regulations. I think I remember a bills player years ago wore red socks instead of white socks and he got fined. Yeah, like I think I've heard stuff like that in the NFL. See, I don't agree with this rule. I think the rule is the rule. There is a rule because he got a penalty. He got a penalty in a game because he had his Jersey tucked in. Now you saw what happened the very next game every player on the team tucked in their Jersey for warm up. That's just to basically say, hey, Bill daily, hey, Gary Batman, we don't like this rule. Okay, it's just showing a little unity between teammates and stuff like that. Not a big deal. I don't it's not going to get blown out of proportion, but I'll tell you this.

If there's something that I would want a player in the NHL to get fined for. Tell me what it is. Do you have any idea it is literally my number one pet breaking their stick? No. Oh, God, he's thinking think super huge pet peeve that it seems more and more and more players are doing. And what I don't like about it is I'll add to it. You keep thinking what I'll add to it is why I hate it so much is because the youth of the world are watching these professional athletes do this. And guess what they do. They're doing the exact same thing. Oh, I know what it is now. I know what it is. Come on, the mouthguard. Yes, sir. I knew it. I knew I because I'm yeah, I'm if you didn't add on, I never would have got Brady and Matthew could chuck playing in the game carrying the puck up the ice and they've got their mouth chewing on their mouthguard hanging out of their mouth.

Every single pack came was the originator of that. No, he wasn't. No, no, no, no, of the modern, the modern era because he was so many people that are doing it right now. I think it should be a player should be at forever ever since we get penalty. That should be a penalty. If you don't want to go back to the old junior days where the visors are up, you get a 10. That's exactly it. That's how all the guys in the queue had 400 penalty minutes. They all had they got visor and fractions at the end of the game. That's how all the players in the queue had 200 penalty minutes. Could be the softest player in the history coming out of the Quebec major junior. Everyone's like, oh my god, they are they got all the tough guys. No, they don't. They did actually they did develop a lot of the tough guys. They had 78 penalty minutes, original penalty minutes and then walked out of there with 337. A lot of tough guys came out of the queue. Yeah, there's a lot of guys that came out of the Western Hockey League. Let me tell you I can't go out of the old.

A lot of tough guys came out of the old. I get the Trevor Zegress thing. They want I would prefer me. I would prefer to have this jersey's untuck, but I'm not going to penalize a player for talking into jersey because you know how many players are like Trevor Zegress that do the the Gratsky jersey talk. There's very minimal amount of players that do it. The mouth guard thing that needs to change because I think it's a bad look for players, the youth hockey players around that watch their favorite players play and they're sitting there chewing on their mouth guard and spitting it out and turning it sideways. I just don't think it's a good look. This is an easy roll into a Sabers topic, but I think NHL 27. Are we on to 27 already? Had the Sabers, Oilers, Stanley Cup Final, they simulated the seasons and the Oilers 1 and game seven.

I guess from what I understand of the Sabers have to make like four game seven runs to get there. Anyway, yeah. Okay, only the game were that easy. How do you feel right now, Boat? Sabers are starting in two days. I feel like you go three, four days without checking Twitter and getting away from the game and then all of a sudden you come back and there's more players on IR. Goes back to I think the last podcast we did, there is a slight concern for this group. Do I think they're talented? There's no question about it. I think the Sabers are having an incredibly talented young group. They're going to be very competitive. There's a lot of talent. There's a lot of good hockey players that being said, are we a better team? I follow this J fresh on Twitter. Okay, I don't know if anyone else follows him, but does hockey analytics?

He said making hockey analytics makes sense and look pretty. Game watcher writer at elite prospects co founder of hockey stats dot com is from Halifax Nova Scotia. I've followed a bunch of accounts and he was one of them and he had this thing going roster builder, standing projection for 2627. And it had the Sabers at 93 points. Fifth in the Atlantic, which would put them one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10th in the east. Okay. I'm not saying that's going to happen, but I think that's more realistic than finishing in the division. And it doesn't have anything to do with the injuries that we'll get to in the injury update either. It's just simply, you know, other teams got better. You're relying on youth. You lost a major player up front in Alex talk. You lost a major player in the back end on bone by room.

Yeah. And everybody likes what they see out as a wager and crevier. We can say that. But that does that equal the loss of a bone by room. We'll see time will tell I'm not. I will not play the I told you so game, but I am going to be realistic. And if I'm wrong, I'll be happy. I'm wrong. I don't think this is a playoff team. I just I okay. Okay. Okay. Let me let me do this for you. Let me do this for you. You're in the Atlantic. You have Detroit, Boston, Toronto, Tampa Bay, Florida, Montreal, Ottawa and Buffalo. Give me your top three teams that are going to come out of the Atlantic. Give me your top three teams that you feel are going to come out of the Atlantic. Florida, Florida, Montreal, Montreal. Okay. Now it comes to your third.

Tampa Bay. Okay. Okay. They have arguably the best goalie in the conference. Start there. They do. They have. The coach of the year, right or right or not, deservingly. And he's a great coach. No, he served the Jack Adam last year. So he's not coach of the year. Linda Ruff's coach of the year. We can call him a Hall of Fame coach. So is he 100% okay? 100% yeah, I guess he'd have to be with 950 wins, but he should be able to get to a thousand. Okay, but Tampa Bay, I think Tampa Bay is better now. They have auto ahead of Buffalo. That's where you get me, but they have Toronto below both. And that's interesting too. And Boston, I think, is improved. And they took the savers to six games last year. I don't necessarily believe in these analytic standings. But still I could see the savers finishing above Ottawa. I don't know what Toronto is going to do.

And I don't know what Boston's going to do. So I mean, I don't see them in the top three of the division. Yeah, I am in the same boat. I have Florida Montreal. I think Montreal is going to lead it. I think they're that good. I think Florida Panthers very well could win the Stanley Cup with who they have on their team. I love their team all the way through. Tampa Bay to me lost a big part of their back end. I felt all this way before all of the injuries. Okay, I felt this way before all the injuries. So I'm not factoring in what has taken place in the last week, which will bring us now to our injury update presented by Selina law. If you've been hurting a car crash or need a personal injury attorney, you already know who to call call the eights call 88888888888. Factor in the injuries now. What's our injuries look like?

You have Zellweger who their saying could be back for opening night. He's had more than enough time to work his way out of concussion protocol. I believe he's he's in a good position. And we're hoping that we can get him back is that would be a big boost. I also just read something online that not sure who who put it out there, but Samuelson is going to practice possibly today, which means that he might be and I say might be ready for the season opener. That's just maybe wishful thinking on everyone's part, but not having Matias Samuelson in the lineup is at what he did last year and how he played. It's devastating. Yeah, well, is this not what the injury list looks like? Matias Samuelson IR lower body was moved to injury reserve by the sabers on Monday.

Connor Sheerie, Connor Timons, Jason Zucker are on the IR day to day. All in Zellweger, Alex Lyon and Ukepaq, Luke and so Connor Timons Ukepaq, Luke and Alex Lyon, Zellweger, Samuelson and Zucker are the guys. These would be big parts of our hockey team playing in the game. And we have a number of those guys that are out. We're hoping that Zellweger comes back. That would be huge. We're hoping and I'm not saying that he is going to play, but Matias Samuelson seems to be like he is going to get back on the ice and hopefully he can put in a few good skates. And hopefully he feels good enough to play in the season opener. Very, very big piece to the puzzle. But have you seen the first month's schedule? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you have any feeling that we're just kind of feeling that we're too hard on the team already?

Like I have a thought in my mind that I know that we're missing Alex Tuck. But we're also going to have a second year player in Osland. And I feel that there's players in this lineup that are ready to elevate their game. So that like I think the Buffalo Sabers have alluded to that we feel that we can cover up the Alex Tuck. Because I think that we're going to get higher in play from players that are just going to be playing at a higher level in what they were last year. Craig Craig Craig to save you the breath. I understand the philosophy. Yeah, I still don't agree with it. Now, now here's the thing. Do I think I'm smarter than than what's the name? Do I think I'm smarter than? Yes, you do. I don't know what you're going to say, but I know you're going to say that you're probably smarter than he is. Yeah, I think I'm smarter than you think I'm smarter than Yarmul.

I hope not. No, I don't. But do I think the philosophy works? No, I don't, but I don't have to believe in the philosophy. He has to believe in the philosophy. I think relying on young guys is too risky after going one goal from the conference finals. Yarmul right now is he took over this team halfway through the season, maybe three quarters of the way or a quarter of the way into the season. He's had an opportunity to be around Buffalo for a full year. I don't think he's looking to make major splashes. Now, and here's the thing. He's not afraid to do it. But I do think in my humble opinion that he believes that he does. He doesn't quite know what he has in a few players. He doesn't quite know what he has in Costa, Hulanius. He doesn't know really.

Now, I know he signed him to a contract of $6.6 million, but do you really know what you're going to get no oscillant? I think that the signing of no oscillant is brilliant. I think the signing of Josh Don is brilliant. I think the signing of Zach Benson's brilliant. Like you have just another year. We have to see what we have. Look, basically Craig, it doesn't look promising already to start the year. And with this amount of injuries, which is we said before training camp, they have to start the season healthy. Yeah. And I did have high hopes for all in Zalweger. I'm not saying that you still can't, but I much rather him start the season. Unconcussed then concussed. Yes. Am I even more reserved about the Saber season? Yes, I am because the start of the season is going to be critical. Say that every year. But I'm going to give you my humble opinion here. Connor Timmans is out with an undisclosed entries. Am I devastated that he is going to be out?

The answer is no, because he is replaceable. So boom, I move on. Hold on a second. Replaceable. Really? We totally replace. We loved him in the playoffs. I don't give a shit. He's totally replaceable. He is he is totally replaceable. But you have metsa. So 100%. You know, like maybe there's maybe there's that all I'm saying, metsa might be better. He might be a better pock mover. He might be a better defender. Like, metsa is a very good player. He played exceptionally well for the Buffalo Sabers last year. If you lose Connor Timmans, you have Zach Bansa. That is to me a wash. That's all I'm saying. You have Owen Zellwiger, who's they're saying that he's going to he's out. But he most likely is going to start the season. So that's a good thing. Jason Zucker. I should be out until November. I don't care. Let's start taking concussions a little more seriously here. Okay. Jason Zucker is out.

He's replaceable. Peyton Krebs, who is on our fourth line, now goes and now he's playing on the third line. Or in the top nine, he is replaceable. Jason Zucker is a good hot player. Okay. Veteran hockey player. It's not like we're it's not like having taged Thompson out. It's not like having Rasmus D'Ali not. We're not missing the major key components of the Buffalo Sabers starting on day one. We're missing we're missing pieces. But those pieces can be replaced by other pieces that I think are really, really good. That's all I'm going to say. So I'm not in panic mode. Do I think the Sabers are better now than what they were last year? The answer is no. But with time and experience and confidence, I think you could see some players on this team explode far past what they did last year. So do it for this Sabers injury update presented by Seleno Law.

No two football players are exactly alike, and the same is true off the field. That's why State Farm gifts to know you so they can help personalized coverage for your life and budget. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. For the second year in a row, these three gold-tening tantrum seems to be very important. You have a soft tissue injury with Ukepaek Luke-Anon who seems to have that every year. He played very well last year. I think we both support that he's a damn good gold-tenor in only 27 and his best years ahead of him. Alex Lyon, upper body injury, hopefully not long-term, but boom, it gives opportunity for young Ellis to get in there and almost solidify and steal that crease to say,

hey, I want to be the guy. I want to not be the third on the totem pole. I want to be the guy. And this is when you see young players take that opportunity that's given and all of a sudden, boom, three years later, the guy is one of the best gold-tenors in the league. You got to start somewhere and this is his opportunity. I think he's going to get the start on day one. And you know what? He doesn't give us. He doesn't, when we look at Ellis, he played really well for the game. He played really well, but listen, it doesn't, I don't have a boatload of confidence, no offense to him. He's just not proven. This is where every goal he gets their opportunity to start to, how did Bennington get his shot? How did all these guys get their shot? Someone had to get hurt. Okay, so do I believe that he has the potential to maybe go on a run or take over the starting position?

I have to imagine he does. But does that mean that I'm confident that what's going to happen this year with this team right now when we need it most? I don't know. I still have doubts. But again, does that go back like we're talking about your confidence in the goal tending because they haven't proven it. Is that the reason why we're talking about the Sabers right now saying, I feel uncomfortable because they really haven't proven a whole lot for 15 years. They've had an insane 50 game stretch and a very impressive playoff. That's what we're running after. But there's not a bigger sample size. So we're feeling uncomfortable because Alex talks gone and bow on Byron was gone. I feel that's where we're at. The team listen, they play Columbus night one. They play Columbus night one. Yeah, I've looked at Columbus's roster. I've been following them a little more because Luke's been at camp at them.

Could very easily beat this roster in Buffalo. Game one of the season. Absolutely mortifying if the Sabers lost the first game because I don't think Columbus is a very good hockey team. I think that's what I'm trying to say here. Okay. Yes, they have Zach Werencky and yes, he had 81 points last year and led his team. But that's not a good thing that he led his team. Okay, he led his team by 14 points. That is not good. And guess who they they traded away the guy. Carl, Mark Enko, who had 27 goals and 67 points. You're moving him on. You're moving. You have Adam Fantilly who you're paying 13.75 million dollars and he hasn't even had a training camp. You've lost your captain in Boone Jenner. You lost Mason Marchment to San Jose in an unrestricted free agency. You've traded away your your creating goal score on the team to compare the two in the standing. Buffalo will finish it. It's the biggest layup with ever.

It's not it's not though with the injuries. Here's Matthew Fairburn who just sent these lines out. Thompson's at center with Norris on the left and don't on the right. Osland is at center with Benson, Benson on the left. Quinn on the right. Then you have McLeod at center with Heleneus and Krebs. And then your your fourth line is Malenstein, Carrick. And there's a slash dash between Danforth and Kool-Eak. All I'm saying is that's a pretty damn good offense. That's a very good offense. Dahlene, power, Zellweger, Krevy A. Where's Carrick? Did you say Carrick? Yes, Carrick's fourth line center. So I love the Sabers. Yes, they have a few injuries. And man, what I love to see Matias Yamiel, Sin play. Most likely Zach Metsa is going to be in there.

I love Zach Metsa. He is he's fantastic, man. He's solid moves the puck well defensively. He's great. I look at are they getting Connor Hellebuck? Do they need him? No, no, you don't think that's happened. I think that I think the deal is dead. I think there's been enough dialogue going back and forth because the hardest thing that that to Winnipeg is dealing with right now is their ask was ten times more before the draft last year. And once the draft came and went, now all of a sudden they went through a long period of everybody took a little bit of break. Okay. You come back in September and you start those discussions but you're saying, okay, used to have seven teams interested in Hellebuck. Now you have three. And I'm not giving you what I gave you before because that came and went. Now you have your star player, your franchise goal tender.

One of the best players in the league basically has stated in written a statement saying that thank you to Winnipeg. Thank you to this. I love my time but I'm not coming back. I don't believe that a deal is going to be there because Winnipeg has come out and said they don't want prospects. They want players that can make them better now. And the reality is there's not going to be too many teams out there that have enough to get this deal done. So they want to part with players off the roster and thin out their roster because the team that he would be going to be a team that's pressing to win and that's all they have to offer prospects. Exactly. Basically it because all the players that are going to help the winner in the lineup. Right. So anyway, yeah. So I think the deal is done. And I think we have three goal tenders that worked very well for us last year. I think they might do it again. Run it back one more time.

See if someone can really steal the net. I was more in favor of that to begin with giving UPL a shot. I can't believe he's hurt. We talked about this as one of the risks with him. And Alex Lyons 35, however old he is. But you really kind of envision the future as UPL Ellis. If you were to keep the string of goalies that you have. But it's too bad he's hurt. Anyway, is there anything else you want to add before we get out of here? No, I think it's going to be exciting. You have the first first games tonight in the NHL schedule, which I'm sure people are extremely, extremely pleased that hockey is back. I know that my son and my older son is going to be a glue to the TV because the Canadians are playing and he's a Canadians fan. They're playing the Toronto Maple Leafs and I'm actually. That's every year. Is that not every year?

What, those two teams play against each other? I feel like it's every year. That's a good one. I don't know. I think it's every single year. Okay. Well, in your time playing there. Did you not play the Maple Leafs all the time? No. Yeah, I feel like it's been every year for a while then. Yeah, because I do remember this that we played one year. I think we played to the Rangers the first game of the season. And I ended up scoring in that game. And I thought to myself on the bench when I came back that I felt like I was. No, I felt I was going to score 82. I felt like I had an actual chance of scoring. I undershoot it. Yeah. I even thought you were like going with a real ego boost at 30. You thought that was it. You thought that was your Hall of Fame career. That's where I was trophies year. That was the year where I buried my first goal in my first game. And I thought to myself, it's time for Nick Lynch from to step aside and let a young

buck in and take over. And then I played the next 70 games with other goal. And I was just like, oh my god, I might not I might barely be in this league. It's just amazing how much confidence. What confidence can do for a hockey player? It's all I'm going to say. Oh my god. It's all it comes down to. That's it. If you're there, you already have the ability. It's it. It literally is between the years stuff is is insanely important. So all confidence. Yeah. Thank you, Lindy. I'm going to say that. Panthers Hurricanes. Canadians, Leafs, Rangers, Bruins, Conox Oilers, Black Hawks, Golden Knights. Over under four points for McDavid against the Conox. Over under four points.

I don't know. I think he's going to establish himself as the big Kahuna again. Have you seen the Hurricanes rings? Did you see they I did? Yeah, they're just I'm sorry. They're just getting too big. Yeah. I take. I definitely take one. I'm just saying that, you know, they're just a little big. That's because I think you would actually wear it around like every day. Be honest. Would you wear it around my neck? You'd be right. Okay. I knew you'd wear it, but yeah, every day. Be like the Ring of the Schwartz. You know what the Ring of the Schwartz is? No. Come on. Come on. Stay out of it. The Cartoon. The Ring of the Schwartz. The Ring of the Schwartz. I don't know why that's your car. Yoga. Yogurt. Yogurt.

Where's the Ring of the Schwartz? It's the Ring of the Schwartz. come on. You know, it's amazing. There's 50% crack a jack box. What movie? What movie? Don't be such a loser. You're a loser if you don't know this. I don't care. You can say you watch so many movies. You know, this is this was my favorite movie from the time I was maybe 10 years old to 13. It's a guarantee. Put it on any night fall asleep to it. It's always funny. No, maybe not. It gets old, but can only call him the desert one movie. It's a cartoon. It's not a cartoon. No one has said anything about a cartoon. Okay. I can't get the swords. Ring of the swords. Ring of the swords. I have no idea. Lone star. What's that? There's only one man who would dare give me the raspberry. Lone star. That's a TV show. It's a movie. It appears to be jammed with Barf the Dog played by John

Candy. Great Canadian John Candy. Barf the dog. It's a Star Wars mockery mockery, mockumentery, whatever they call it. With Darth Helmet. Lord Helmet. Lord Helmet. Okay. Lord Helmet or dark helmet. Oh, man. Thank you watch it far too much. That's television as a you don't. It's not TV. It's a fucking movie. Lord dark helmet. Dark or dark? Who is that guy? He's an asshole, sir. Come on. Craig. Come on. What do you talk about on the golf course with your friends? Like what do you talk about? Just money? Can't be just money. What else do you talk about? Money, isn't it? It's his. Yeah. Exactly why. Making sure it stays in your pocket.

Okay. Anyway, that was fun. So they're nice white. What are they? White Louis Vuitton or Versace belts or Hermes belts? Kind of white belts are your boys wearing 100% and probably visors too. Kind of visor, Rev. No. Yeah, right. No, no visor. Golf with ear airpawn in your ear. But you do taking calls, tap it. Hey, what's up? I'm on the course. You do all these things. Don't you? I am describing I'm describing somebody to you because you're smiling like, yeah, you're on the right path. You're definitely describing. You are definitely on the right path, Andrew. And the guys that you know, the biggest problem with golf is Craig. Yep. What is it? Guys like you. Okay. That movie with space balls. The ring of the shorts. I bet someone in your golf group has one. See ya.
