Today I was blessed to sit and talk with Deeana Creates. She's an amazing artist who was gracious enough to sit down with me and discuss what life was like when she was homeless. I was absolutely blown away by her testimony and how she was able to turn her tragedy into her triumph. My hope is that by having conversations like this, we will begin to look at the homeless as people in need of assistance and not nuisances to be ignored.
