And when Quinn's asked where you heard about them, let them know it was blurry creatures people. It's the best way to support the show. She's tensed up, bent backwards, and she's just wailing. And I see this entity behind me.
He's wearing the black suit that I remember seeing them in come in. But he's what I would describe now as a tall gray. The history of our Earth is so different from what we can imagine. Enjoy the journey. The Smithsonian, and if they found out about Lord Skeleton somewhere, was to go get it, I'm going to assume at least one person is right because if one person's right it musts the paradigm. It all goes back to the fall and chair. And the problem with the modern day church, they had a very truncated view of the supernatural. This backdrop is just pregnant with all kinds of meaning associated with this Mount Herman event. And this guy defects from the kingdom. That's a big deal. Well, thanks, Glenn. Thanks for coming on, blurry creatures. Thanks for being willing to share a story like a lot of people just reach out to us.
It is up in the members profile and stories submit. And you send us over your story. But this was a long time. This one's been brewing for a while. You haven't told this one. So thank you for coming on and, be willing to share this. But first, we ask everybody to kick off the conversation, get into the weird, We thought some bigfoot. I know he's, I know there's panthers in North Carolina, but are there bigfoot? There are purple panthers, a purple panther. That's right. The local mascot, the college, the people don't know what we're talking about, but. Yeah. You know, I've never been, you know, I've never really been a fan of bigfoot. I think it's a great question. You know, you've had some pretty intelligent people on your broadcast that has some very thought provoking ideas or, you know, theories about bigfoot. The problem I have with bigfoot is, you know, just, it doesn't seem to fit any kind of ontological category
that lets me say, okay, this entity is a part of the animal kingdom. You know, organisms leave biology, and it just seems, you know, that always escapes me. You know, I really have no answer for it. It just seems to be like a lot of the phenomenon. It seems to be a vent driven versus leaving actual physical DNA or, you know, or there's any, you know, what, I ask questions like, well, what is his metabolism? What's his diet? What does he eat? You know, we don't even have that. So it's kind of, we're stuck always in this investigative loop of these things. And so I really don't know. And that's terrible answer. Yeah, that's all I got. I just envision he's out there with a big bullet cap and crunch. Do you think so? Just, no, that's not even reality. You know what, Glenn, I am actually impressed. Yeah, those are really thought out answered.
Like you usually hear the word ontological, you sound like our friend Timothy Alburino, and I love it. I mean, I think what's interesting is that there seems, not to push back a little bit, there seems to be able to find evidence. But the intellect, to me, innate the analysis of said evidence always seems to sort of, I don't know, disappear if you will. Maybe that's on purpose or maybe not. But you think about like the DNA studies and people finding fur, I mean, other than like our friend, the late Dr. Jeff Meldrum, who you had like 10,000 plus castings of footprints, and famously a butt print in his office, you know, there does, the body seems to be missing. Right, and there's recently, there's recently since we were recording this right now, a story about a big, a big 500 who apparently found a body and was all like, well, yeah, I don't know who. I think the whole scene is one of the problems. People that do these spools from hoaxes for attention and clicks,
and they're just kind of muddy in the water. Glenn, are you saying you, you just don't know where to place it, but you think he's a thing or you... Well, I think he's real. Okay. I didn't think he's real. I think people are having event-based experiences versus, you know, I think it would be, you know, you guys, I am not the guy, but you guys have a lot of really smart friends and guests that it would be, I think it would be a really interesting project to take, to kind of take not just big foot, but all of the phenomenon and kind of build a an ontological grid as to, you know, what can we know about big foot? You know, what can we know about these different things? And then kind of say, well, what can we not know? I think sometimes just answering what it's not, my open more doors into what it could be, you know. Like I think about, you know,
I think about some of the, you know, I'm not a researcher or an expert on big foot, but you know, I know there's, you know, disembodied voices and there's footprints, there's wood knocks and, you know, objects being thrown from outside or footfalls, but you take those same things and you put them in a creepy haunted house, what do you got? It's not big foot. So it seems to be localized if it's happening here in the Pacific Northwest, it's big foot. If it's happening in a creepy house, it's some kind of haunted house. And so to me, like if, some smarter guys could take a, an ontological grid and say, oh, here's a lot of overlap and here's a lot of shared constitutional properties, but here's what doesn't have anything. They don't leave culture. They don't leave a stable population. So there's some things that don't classify in human categories or the animal kingdom
that I just think would be an interesting study. I like it. I like that diagram with you. I like to bend diagrams, make them overlap. Let's see what's in the room. I agree with you though. Glenn, it's like, just when you think you got big foot in a box, it's something else happens and you can't, you just can't put big foot in a box or the corner. You can't put big foot in the corner. You can't, you don't put big foot in the corner. It's a loop that sometimes concerns me is a counterfeit relationship. Is he an ancient relic? Is he an interdimensional? There's just no answers to it. And so we stay really focused on certain aspects that I don't know if maybe that's just the agenda of why the phenomenon is blurry as it is. Well, you got a blurry story, Glenn, and he can launch into that one. It's 80s. We got the whole thing on it. It's going to be got 80s. We got farmland. So where does the story begin and where does it take place?
So I grew up in Oklahoma. I grew up on family land. My dad and my grandpa built our house in the 70s. My dad was the youngest for 14. Wow, grandpa, yeah. Something like the youngest grandchild of 52. So we were just this large, large clan that I didn't know was not normal living. And so it was very, there's a lot of charm to the way I grew up. We had 48 acres of land. My closest neighbor was about an eighth of a mile away. Ants and uncles, anywhere from a quarter three quarters and full two miles away. But I could see their property. We all had lots of land. We had the smallest property at 48 acres. So somewhat isolated and remote, but you can't see neighbors houses. Just an ideally place to grow up as a boy. Hutton, fish and riding three-wheelers
just having to get time. All your cousins around. So there's always having a good time like that. So that's where it happened. And I remember it in bits and pieces in the beginning. And I have a speculation as to the timeframe. And I can explain why I think that that is. I think if, and I can't prove this, but I think it happens somewhere between August and changing over into September. I think it was probably 1982. As I look back on, I've had a lot of years to think about it. And I look back at that. It's just the only time-friending that really fits for what I saw, what kind of the way that my mind would have worked at such a young age. So my dad, he worked shift work.
He, when dad was at work, we were awake. So that when dad slept, we slept. So that he could sleep. So that's just kind of how my mom navigated midnight shifts and the graveyard shifts and then the early morning shifts. So it wasn't anything for me to be awake at night. I wouldn't be able to go outside and play, but I was aware that it was nighttime. And so this was one of the times in which I was playing in the house. I know it's nighttime outside. I can see through the windows at his start. And the way that our house is shaped, we, you know, there's a utility room that had a door and then it comes into a kitchen. And then there was the dining room, the living room, kind of made a almost an open L shape. And then there was a hallway that went down to two rooms and then the final two rooms with my mom and dad's room and then my sister's room.
And so I'm coming out from our room to the living room and I come into the kitchen where my dad is. And the kitchen above the sink were two windows. So there were smaller windows that had cabinets around it, a tension rod that held like your little frilly, you know, drapery there. But the windows were always open. And I noticed out that window, everything was orange. And I was very curious, you know, I ran up to the counter, I lifted myself up on the counter and I looked outside and I used to try to say, you know, everything was illuminated orange, but there wasn't like there was a light illuminating everything. And, you know, I've recently, you know, a couple of years ago, I bought some glasses, they were blue light glasses and they're like orange all of you ever seen those kind of glasses.
Hey, put on, it's more like that. So a better way of saying it was like there was a lens in which I could see through the darkness, I could see outside. I know every other window is dark, but this window is not. And I climbed up on the counter, I look out the window, I can see our chicken coop, I can see our fruit trees and I can see the hay bales in the field. And that's why I believe it's in August, September, August is a very predictable weather pattern for Oklahoma. You know, you, you, you bailed the hay and it's, it's gonna have opportunity to sweat and to dry out without any motor rot or any, any rainy season. So that would be a common time of year for me to see hay bales. But I can just see it all illuminated and I asked my dad, why is the sky orange? And you know, he's just standing there trans-fix looking out the window and his response was,
it gets that way sometimes when it storms. And I don't know if, if that's what, if, if just his actions, what kind of scared me or, you know, Oklahoma storms get very wild, you're very violent. And as a kid, like, I hear storm, I'm, I'm not, I'm feeling scared. But for whatever reason, I, I definitely have the sense of something's wrong. And I remember jumping down off of the, off of the counter and I'm, and I'm heading toward the living room. And that was, that was the end of what I could remember. I don't remember anything else of that night. I don't remember at that time, whereas I should remember, okay, what did I do? I played or, you know, there should be some memory of that night. In the very next morning, I, you know, I remember going to my mom and my dad
when I got out there were both there. And I said, hey, why was the sky orange last night? And they just tensed up and never acknowledged it.
And they're like, hey, what did I do? I'm not going to be there. I'm not going to be there. I'm not going to be there. I'm not going to be there. I'm not going to be there. I'm not going to be there.
