The liberal globalist order is at its brink and awakening a new conservative age. John Dr. Steve Turley joined me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-vinylization of conservative civilization. This is Turley Talks. It's official. Just moments ago, President Trump posted on True Social, confirming what Washington had been whispering about for weeks now, Pam Bondy is out as Attorney General of the United States. In classic Trump fashion, he praised her on the way out the door, his statement called Bondy, quote, an American patriot and loyal friend who faithfully served and oversaw a crackdown across our country with murder plummeting to its lowest since 1900. He noted that she'll be moving on to an important new position in the private sector, details to be revealed soon. And just like that, one of the most consequential, personal movements of Trump's second term
is done. But here's the thing. The how of this firing is the easy part. The why and what it means for the next chapter of the Trump administration is a story you're not going to hear anywhere else. Hey gang, it's me Dr. Steve, your Patriot Professor here to help you make sense of the madness with breaking news and analysis. You're not going to get anywhere else. You know, to do make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button. So Pam Bondy is officially done. She was Florida's Attorney General for eight years before becoming a G. She was a fierce Trump loyalist, a member of his legal defense team during his first impeachment trial. And one of his most trusted public defenders when Trump nominated her for a G in early 2025 after Matt Gaetz's nomination imploded, conservatives cheered. He walked into the Justice Department, promising to end the weaponization of the DOJ against conservatives and to turn it around on Trump's political enemies. But then something happened.
Everything frankly was fine and dandy everybody was pumped up, fully supportive. And then two words, Epstein files, let's go back to February 2025. The DOJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein's clients. Well that really happened. It's sitting on my desk right now to review. That's been a directive by President Trump. I'm reviewing that. I'm reviewing JFK files and MLK files. That's all in the process of being reviewed because that was done at the directive of the president from all of these agencies. So have you seen anything that you said, oh my gosh. Not yet. Okay. Well, we'll check back with you. Now the problem there is that literally days later, the DOJ turned around and said that no such client list existed. So again, for context, that interview that Bondi just gave there was just a few weeks after Trump's inauguration. We were all chomping at the bit to see the files that we were promised that she was talking.
She literally said was sitting on her desk and then inexplicably days later, we're being told that no such list exists and that the case was closed that Epstein definitely killed himself and there was nothing more to it move on. And so obviously these two narratives completely clashed and that clash detonated a political crisis that never fully resolved a significant portion of Trump's own base, the people who demanded Epstein's accountability for years. They felt betrayed. The anger was real. It was palpable. It was sustained and it was directed squarely at Bondi and by extension to Trump himself. And it got worse a house oversight committee, including five Republicans issued Bondi a subpoena to testify under oath about DOJ mismanagement of the Epstein investigation. Her deposition was scheduled for April 14th.
In other words, the sitting attorney general of the United States was about to be hauled before Congress by members of her own party days from now. That was the beginning of the end. But the Epstein debacle was only one strike. The second strike was arguably more damaging inside the White House. Trump came into a second term with a clear mandate from his base, accountability, justice, the rule of law applied equally. After being the recipient of weaponized law fair multiple times, Trump and his supporters wanted investigations, indictments, prosecutions of the people that he believed weaponized the government against him in his first term and then afterwards. Now in fairness, Bondi's DOJ pursued that agenda rather aggressively by most measures. The prosecutors went after former FBI director James Comey, New York attorney general Latisha
James, former security advisor John Bolton. She's been investigating Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, Lisa Cook at the Federal Reserve. Grand juries were convened, subpoenas were issued. But then case after case collapsed. A federal judge dismissed the indictments against Comey and James, ruling the US attorney who brought the charges had been unlawfully appointed. Grand juries unanimously rejected criminal charges against six congressional Democrats. Federal judges quashed subpoenas into Jerome Powell, probes into Schiff and Swalwell produced no charges. And as I'm sure you gas, Trump was just absolutely furious. Do you remember this true social pose back in September? I believe that it was a private message that got accidentally posted publicly because it's addressed directly to Pam. And it says, quote, I've reviewed over 30 statements and posts saying that essentially
same old story as last time, all talk, no action. Nothing is being done. What about Comey? Adam Schiff, the shift, Latisha, they're all guilty as hell. But nothing is going to be done. We can't delay any longer. It's killing our reputation and our credibility. They impeach me twice and it died to me five times over nothing. Justice must be served now. So regardless of whether that was a private message or not, clearly Trump was pissed and losing his patience with Bondy. As I know, many of you were as well. I heard that every week over the last year, when the heck are we going to see the indictments, the perp walks, what's going on here? As far as President Trump is concerned, not enough and not soon enough. And so Pam is now gone. So what next? That's exactly what we're about to find out.
But first, let me ask you a serious question. If you could earn consistent double-digit returns guaranteed by law, guaranteed by law, did you still risk your money in volatile markets? Because most investments today, if you think about they come with a catch, stocks go up, but then they drop. Crypto is unpredictable and real estate takes time, capital and headaches. But I just learned about a method that's completely different from a friend of mine, Jay. It's backed by government authority, the returns are set by state law, and you can literally test the waters with as little as 50 bucks. No market timing, no complicated strategies, no dealing with tenants, no rehabs, and it doesn't take over your life either, just a couple of spare hours a week. This is the kind of predictable law-based return strategy that institutions and hedge funds have secretly relied on for years.
But most Americans have never ever been shown it. So I asked Jay how long it would take him to teach me. And he told me he could explain the entire strategy and actually walk through it live in less than an hour. And that's when I asked him to do the same thing for you guys. And he agreed, Jay is hosting a free live masterclass Tuesday, April 7th at 8 p.m. Eastern, who will show you exactly how the system works, why the returns are guaranteed by law, and how everyday Americans can get started with very little time and very little money. It's live only, no replays. So go to turleyclass.com to register, that's turleyclass.com or just text, turley to 72,000. Again, Tuesday, April 7th at 8 p.m. Eastern, if you want predictable returns without the risk, volatility, and complexity of traditional investing, I'll see you in this amazing masterclass.
So who runs the Justice Department now? Well, immediately deputy AG Todd Blanche steps in as acting attorney general, but don't expect Blanche to last that long. He was Trump's former personal criminal defense attorney. But nevertheless, he's widely reported to actually have been the one who quietly pumped the brakes on the most aggressive prosecutorial targets inside the DOJ, prioritizing legal caution over political results. And as a result, I mean, the base by and large doesn't like him. Trump knows it. So Blanche, I think, is just a placeholder. He's not the future. The name generating the most buzz right now in MAGA circles for the permanent role is Lee Zeldin, currently the EPA administrator. He's a former Republican congressman from New York. He's a hard-charging Trump loyalist known for aggressive political combat. The Zeldin is zero prior law enforcement or prosecutorial experience.
But that actually appears to be a plus at this point. Trump doesn't want a lawyer's lawyer running the DOJ. He wants a fighter who's going to pick up the phone, go after targets and not flinch when the institutional establishment pushes back. But there is a second name that's been circulating a bit in conservative circles that would be an even boulder choice. And one with some strategic implications beyond the DOJ. And that's Ken Paxton, the current Texas attorney general who spent the last four years is arguably the most aggressive Republican AG in the country, filing lawsuit after lawsuit against the Biden administration, the federal bureaucracy, the left wing institutions. He knows how to prosecute. He knows how to fight. And critically, he has a prosecutorial credibility that Zeldin lacks. But here's the political chess move. Paxton of course is currently part of a rather brutal primary for Texas senator, right,
against the incumbent John Corden. And the theory goes elevating him to attorney general solves that problem cleanly because Trump hasn't endorsed anyone yet in that race. What it would do is it would remove a contentious intro party battle from the Texas Republican landscape at the same time rewarding one of Trump's most loyal fighters with the biggest law enforcement job in the country. And then it would sound a very loud signal to the left that the DOJ is now in the hands of someone with a proven track record of taking them on and winning. Now of course, we'll see what happens. But circling back to Pam Bondy, we talked about two strikes, right, the Epstein thing and then her failure for prosecutions. But I think there's a third strike in all, and that's the real lesson in all of this. We have to remember she was a Trump loyalist. She stood by in through two impeachments in a criminal trial.
She's always had his back and yet he fired her. And that's because in Trump's second term loyalty is necessary, but it's no longer sufficient results of the currency now. The message to every member of this cabinet is unmistakable, deliver or go home. This is the golden age. And in the golden age, your pedigrees measured ultimately by what you produce. And that is where Pam Bondy found her third strike. That's where she fell short. The DOJ is about to get a new sheriff. Washington is about to feel it. And we're all just getting started.
