This episode of Double Tab is brought to you by Foxtrot Mike, C&G Holsters Medical Gear Outfitters Night Fission and Ross Martin. Oh, no insult for me this time. Oh, your gay. I got fingers in, cheer, wave, But I'll find where the minds of the target We're aiming for the right, But I'm going to the double tab. When we deliver the facts, Is your impression, Stalking, coming, this street track. Welcome to Double Tab episode 479. We are so happy to be here tonight. We have the three amigos. We got Jeremy Posderic. We got Nick Lynch. And my name is Sean Heron.
We're here to guide you on this journey. And if you're unfamiliar with this show, it's like deer, abby, but for guns and man stuff and men things. And you know, just like all this, all this stuff. Now Jeremy has a gun range. Valley City, Ohio. It's called Rivers Edge Tactical. You should go there and visit and rent his machine guns. It'd be a lot of fun. Nick has a website, bus built systems. You can Google that and find that pretty dang easily. He's got great products like the EBT, the poor's bag plate, all kinds of stuff, as well as some up and coming products that you've probably heard about on the show, as well as some pretty awesome t-shirts that I think you'll truly enjoy. And my name is Sean and you can just find me here on this podcast and we like shooting every single week. I'll be here. They'll be here, but we don't have to like it. And I think that's the important thing. Oh God, the song's still playing. How was you guys week? Last week. It was busy.
Was it long? Yeah. Yeah. Same. Jeremy, did you like build something on a farm today? I did. Actually, I was working on running shed. I turned 42 over, I turned 42 four days ago. You sure did? I did. That's the answer to life, the universe and everything. Exactly. Yeah, that means I know everything. Well, listen to me. You think you do. You think you do. I know a lot. You do know a lot. You do know a lot. You have approximate knowledge of many things. That is. If people would just listen to me, the world would be so much better off. I mean, there'd be a lot of dead people, sure, but like. I mean, there's a lot of dead people now, really. When you go to hell. Well, the population of the planet would be somewhere around three billion. So basically, you're like the redneck Thanos. Oh God, if I could. Except it wouldn't be a random half of the population. It is crazy that I kind of just do really, and I know we've talked about this before. I don't want to belabor the point.
But like Thanos had some good points. And he was brave enough to do what was required until those stupid ass little bitch avengers stopped him from doing what was necessary and basically, you know, cemented the spoiler alert, cemented the fact that the universe will die because there's just too many living beings. Somebody once said if Thanos could half the population, like, double the resources. Yeah. But also having the population is only a temporary fix. I think it's an excellent. It's a good point. They're all going to repopulate again. All right. So he needs to be like take that long communist China and, you know, erase half the population, but also sterilize everyone. So we'll die out and then honestly, the universe will be better off. Well, I'll keep my opinion in my song. It's probably for the best.
Let's go ahead and get into this train wreck of a show. Okay. Well, first of all, people want to complain about the fucking music. I got some new music for your bitches. I cannot wait. I hope you fucking like it. This is your mouth. I loved it. What is this? We like clowns. What was that? You have no one to complain about. You have no one to complain to but yourself. This is your fault. You did this. Welcome to the show. I've been waiting for like a week to do that. And the best part is I actually forgot about it until I just clicked it. If I read the intro on the next show, I have an insult for you. Okay, good, perfect. Yeah. I'll make sure you do then. Dusky over in the chat sushon. You're going to get some fucking complaints. I remember I radio. That is solid music. I'm hoping for ice cream truck before this is over.
Why do I have an erection? Duh-duh-duh-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du. Minnesota gun guy. I like the old music. Well, I like this music. This music is good. I've got a lot more surprises for you coming up coming up real soon. But first of all, Fox drop Mike, I want to encourage everybody. What go ahead? I'm for some of the podcast just all of a sudden fucking nose dive. Yeah, well, our fucking intro music change. I mean, how can you not like that? I feel like we're on whose line is it anything? You know the fucking best part was Nick was looking away when I started playing that. And when the music, when the dude laughed in the music, he started looking around like who the, which one of us is laughing like that? It's a weird sound to have in there. It's kind of sinister and it doesn't really fit the vibe song.
It's so true. It is so true. But you know, I'm into it. Tuskegee consented rumble rant for a dollar said that shit sucks and is gay. Love you. Then a $2. Can we get it one more time? Yeah. Yeah. And then a $2. It said also $22. I'll tell you what, I won't play that one again this episode for a $100 rumble rant. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'll still play it even if you do so don't do that. Fox chart Mike. Honestly, one of the true innovators in the AR space, but also doing it at a price that everyone can afford. That's kind of, that's kind of Paul's goal is to make the good stuff, treat his employees well, which is a key tenant of like who we will take money from. Great company. I can't do that. It's, it's the weirdest thing, right? But that's one of his focuses is a making sure that he pays his people, you know, a good,
good wage, making sure that they're happy and fulfilled like, you know, that that's the stuff that is important. And in the meantime, constantly innovating stuff, constantly putting out great rifles. So I highly recommend go check them out, FM-products.com. coupon code there is WLS's life. Go check them out. I highly recommend the ranch rifle. I highly recommend the full deboy and very, very soon is the integrally suppressed complete upper for under 500 bucks or right around 500 bucks. So again, fm-products.com and go see what they got going on. RIMFI Radio sent another $5 super jet or rumble rant that says keep playing that sexy ass music. Don't worry, I got more going. It's, it'll be fine. Anyway, first, first section is called dear WLS. If you'd like to submit your question and have a chance to win a prize, text your name and question to 743-500-2171. Nick, why don't you take the first one? No. Please. Fine. Go fuck yourself. Cool, I guess, guess I'll go fuck myself.
Be back in two minutes. Uh, not, well, it says anonymous coward from Georgia, but then the first line of the question is Debo 90 from Georgia. It probably didn't register that as a name. I don't know. I think this is a Star Wars Android DB-O90 from Georgia. Yeah. I think you're right. It says have been looking from FoxTrap mic in 556, but can't seem to locate online. Is there a shortage of products? Thanks. FoxTrap mic in 556. All right. I'm on the website right now. And let's see. There is a mic 15 556 Gen 2, 16 inch upper, 579. There's another one right next to it that has Add to Cart.
No, they're on there. FM-products.com. I see them. I'm looking at them right now. I see them. Yeah, I'm literally seeing them on the website right now. Message on automated-we-like-shooting.com if you're looking for something specific and we'll try to help you locate it. But yeah, I'm definitely seeing them. I see the range rifles in stock as well. But that isn't to me like maybe you're looking for something specific and you can't find it. But yeah, automated-we-like-shooting.com and we will try to help you find what you're find what you're looking for. Thanks Debo 90. Jeremy, next question. Uh, Connor from Montana. Yeah. I'm getting a VZ 61 build kit. I don't particularly want to spend $300 on the serialized part. How legal is it to have someone else print that part for me as I don't have a 3D printer? Thanks Connor. As I understand, pretty illegal.
Have you ever heard the phrase shoot shovel and shut the fuck up? I have. I've heard it. I've also heard that as well. I mean, there's no reason you can't go print that off at somebody else's house. Yeah, at the homies. Well, using, so I remember the ATF crackdown on people using other people's CNC machines to complete 80% receivers. And they lost that fucking case hard. Yeah. Oh, did they lose that case? They didn't lose that case. They pulled that case because they didn't want legal precedent set. So they pulled the case before it ever went anywhere because they were about to get asked fucked by a judge because the receiver of an AR 15 does not meet the federal definition of a firearms receiver. Legally speaking, an AR 15 has no part that meets the definition of a receiver. We just all accepted that it's the lower, but the actual federal definition needs a fire control group and the barrel attached to it. Yeah. And anything with a split receiver doesn't meet that definition. And they were about to get asked fucked hard by a judge.
And they went, we withdraw the case. It's over and they didn't want legal precedent set. And three times actually. And keep in mind, like, so, so here's the thing, like, personal manufacturer of a firearm is, I don't want to say that it's legal. I will just say, I just want to say that it's not illegal in most places, most states, in some states. It is now illegal because you know, they're commies. But that means personal manufacturers. So if you pay somebody to manufacture that for you, then they are a firearms manufacturer, basically, which they could do for themselves, but they cannot legally. Well, again, like I want to be careful how I say that. It isn't that it's legal. It's just that it's not illegal. And I think that's thing. So, you know, and it is legal to sell or transfer a firearm that you have made. So long as you did not make that firearm with the intention of selling or transferring it.
Yeah. As a, as an individual. Yeah. So keep that in mind, but also keep in mind this. Like, I think, I literally, I couldn't fucking believe it, but I was at Target yesterday. And they had a fucking A1 many from Bamboo Lab and Filament on the shelf. And they, when many was $250 bucks. Wow. It was like literally on the shelf at Target. Just two of them sitting there and then a bunch of Bamboo Lab Filament PLA basic just sitting right there. So maybe an A1 Mini should be in your future. And then you can print your own because you don't spend the 300 on the serialized part, but spend 250 plus, you know, 50 bucks on some filament, print your own and also get into the hobby. Yeah. And then you can do all kinds of cool shit. Yeah. Exactly. Um, I was, I was on the Bamboo website today and that you can get a, I did not know this, but you can get a refurbished X1C with the AMS, which is the exact set of, exact set of that I have back back there. Yep. Mine right
over there too. Um, yeah, the refurbished one is like 650 bucks. What? And it comes with a full warranty and everything. Don't tell me that. I think 1200 for mine. I think I paid 16, 1700 for mine, but I got it like early on. Oh my god. Yeah. So I saw that and I was like, you know, I've kind of been wanting another printer. Uh, maybe, maybe that's going to happen sooner than I thought. Yeah. That's, that's amazing. Because I love my X1C. It's so good. Yeah. It's great. The only thing that would stop me from getting another one from getting a refurb is the fact that the nozzles are a little bit more complicated to change out like the P2S and the A1, the nozzles are like 10 seconds to swap out. And yeah, it's not like I do it every day, but I do it at least once a month and it's just kind of a pain really man. The X1C is so good. Yeah. Like I go so rarely change my nozzles. Well, I actually, I do it pretty regularly. I mean, probably even more than once a
month, I probably do it two or three times a month on the P2S. Are you changing sizes or what? Yeah. Yeah. I go from point four, which is the point four millimeters or is it point zero four? Point four. Point four millimeters to the point six and the point eight, depending on what I'm printing. So I just printed a ton of TPU and I went to a point six and that's like for those that don't know, that's like a rubbery filament. So like, you know, this is all 3D printed, but it's like all rubbery and I can squeeze it. And then these are not rubbery. These are normal filament. And this is a pocket pussy, but it's got like a broken bone in it just in case that's how you roll like Jeremy. But yeah, so I did that. And then if I'm printing a like a tool holder for my wall, I will literally put in a point eight millimeter nozzle. I feel like I'm sick. I feel like it's point zero eight. Anyway, I'm putting in the point eight and I print it in like draft mode so that it's,
you know, because it can be a little rougher, it can be bigger layer lines because I just don't really give a shit. But the speed improvement is like it doubles. It's like so much faster. So that's generally faster. You kind of give up some print quality though. Oh yeah, 100%. Yeah. And like stuff like that, I'm fine like this. I'm literally playing with something right now. This is a cable, cable clasp. I print these with the zero point eight because they print like 15 minutes or like 12 minutes. All of the printer, well, almost all the printers that I've got at work are set up with point six nozzles. And I printed some like initial test pieces at home, but the point four. Yeah. And then I think I already told you about this and then I went to work and printed a shitload of the parts with the point six and none of them fit together
right because the layer lines were sloppy or dementia and I designed them to be really tight. So I had to go back and shave everything with a razor blade to get it all to fit and it sucked. Yeah, that does suck. Yeah, print your tests with the same nozzles that you're going to print your production with. Always on the same machine with the same settings. That was the other one is that I got like halfway through and then decided to run it in sport mode, which is like 125% speed or something 124. I'll be honest. 124. Yeah. And that also added to the sloppiness. So like the last few batches were not, were not as good. Yeah, for sure. But yeah, I do that stuff when it where it just doesn't matter because it just it improves the speed so much. Anyway, yeah, Connor, go buy go buy one for like 250. And then the world is your oyster. Or we're still talking about that. Yeah. Yeah. But look, keep in mind that the A1 is like a little
bit more pricey, but it has a much bigger bed. So you can do like cooler, better things. I don't know how big the receiver is on the VZ 61, but it may be an issue with the A1 mini. Question from anonymous coward from Florida, Jeremy. This one might need some input from you. Started LLC a few years ago, but haven't actually done anything with it. I rent a condo and the owners won't let me have kitchen FFL. Should I find cheapest commercial rental property to start or is there other factors I should consider? Yes, notes. Jeremy, why AI, R E M Y. This is a funny cut. Yeah, just keep in mind that your shit has to stay there unless you do offsite storage. And then you can keep it at a different location, but that location can also. So is it that that location can also have an audit done at it? Yeah, because I think I don't remember because I don't do that. Yeah, someone was just telling
me the other day that they basically they had their FFL out of a space. And then they had everything in offsite storage. So when they came to audit, they did it at the normal place, but they were like we need everything from your other place here. And he said, can everything is at my offsite storage? Can't you do it there? And then they got their supervisor involved and they said no, we have to do it on the licensed premise. Now normally, that's probably not a big deal, but this dude had 3000 firearms. So he had to spend literally weeks bringing all 3000 firearms to the premise from and apparently it was like a 45 minute driver, so I'm shit like that. So keep that in mind that they will do an audit of the licensed premise, not the offsite storage, but I think that they reserve the right to do an inspection of the offsite storage. So the reason I say that is if you're going to get cheap commercial rental property,
go ahead and make sure that it's a place you feel safe leaving your stuff. Dr. Scary guy said, I have known a few people who were in the tiny office with a desk and a locking door. The safe takes up like a quarter of the room. Yeah, absolutely. And keep in mind that there's a lot of office buildings, but also keep in mind that you have to have approval from the less. It has to be zoned for that kind of manufacturing business or at least firearms business, depending on what what FFL you get. Just some stuff, some stuff to keep in mind there. And you can also check out Ryan Kleckner's rocket FFL because that course does answer some of those questions as well. Yeah, they zoning board asked me pretty heavily if I was going to do like commercial manufacturing. Yeah, because that's what my FFL is. It's manufacturing FFL. Same. And I had to explain to them that like no, like I'm not going to be like, you know, I'm not going to have like a big industrial machine shop like not that like something wouldn't happen occasionally in there.
You know, but I had to explain them that the ATF considers building receiver out manufacturing, but I'm not going to be like mass producing CNC, you know, they're like, oh, weird. And I go, yeah, I agree. Yeah. So I had to do the same thing. Thankfully, I had done the rocket FFL classes and Kleckner literally has like a copy and paste thing in there where you can, you know, tell them specifically what you're doing because it is literally like I have one piece of aluminum and another piece of aluminum, they're milled to fit together and they act of me putting those together and then clicking two pins is basically manufacturing. And so our zoning here were like, yeah, we don't give approval or disapproval. So just like do your thing. And I was like, cool. Let's see, RIMFI radio. I have a no 702 on my garage city issue day home based license for firearms manufacturing home based business license. So yeah, and it depends, it does depend a lot on your
locale. So just keep all that stuff in mind. Oh, here. Let's talk about our friends over at C&G real quick. C&G holsters. I wanted to bring up the fact that they do actually have a lot of killing it with the stingers. These are amazing. Thanks. You know, I try to, I try to keep the people happy and you know, if they were unhappy with the music, I want to I want to make it better for them. Yeah, of course. Yeah. I wanted to point out that they do make a ton or they make holsters in a bunch of different patterns. Obviously, they've got, you know, the real popular stuff like Black NFDE and ODG and Bullgum Pink. But then they've got, you know, the Woodland peanut butter, Woodland Gen 2, the, you know, orange next Vista Blaze Camo. Obviously multi camera, multi cam,
they've got a bunch of the cryptex, A tax, just all the different stuff that they got going on over there. And you can get that pretty much in any of their custom order holsters. Obviously, the quickship is generally in a solid color. But you can just add that on to any holster that you are going to get. I actually had one of our listeners text me over the weekend and send a picture of the CNG holster that they got and it looked freaking outstanding. I believe it was for a shield. And I said it was very happy with it so far. And I think that's awesome. So if you're looking for a holster of any kind, whatever flare you want to put on it, go ahead and to C-A-N-D-G holsters.com. And when you check out use coupon code at WLS's life and you'll save some money. And again, yeah, just go check them out. See if they make holsters for what you've got, what you need. And taste the rainbow.
All right, Nick, you're up. No. Oh, Nick, please, you're up. Damn, I keep hoping that'll work. This one comes from J-Law, which I think is Jennifer Lawrence. Yeah, 100% yes. From Tennessee. May the odds be ever in your favor? I volunteer a tribute. Says, let's talk about rifle lights. I have heard you talk about an indoor, I haven't heard you talk about or endorse any specific light. What would you recommend for a home defense weapon? I won't be fighting any wars with it. So it doesn't have to be EMP proof, but reliable would be nice. Thanks, fellas. J-Law. All right. I want to say cloud defensive so bad. But I know some people that hold on. I apologize, I have to interrupt this broadcast.
All right. So Angel is watching some movie, Jeff Portnoy. It's like, what was that emergency movie where he played all the different fat people? Nuddy professor. Yeah. She has on her TV like a bunch of fat people. It looks like a commercial or something like that. Jeff Portnoy, is that what was the one where Robert Downey Jr. put Junior plays a black dude? Tropics. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So his character in that remember when he does that, that one like Eddie Murphy did and all the fat people on screen. So I just how that was that was Jack Black's character. Oh no, it's Robert Downey Jr's character. At least he's on screen now. Anyway, I don't know which one whose Jeff Portnoy is that is that Jack Black? I don't know. Anyway, I heard the fucking dog growling through my headphones. So he's growling loud.
And I look over and he's just staring at the TV, growling at all the fat people. So anyway, raise the dog right. And they'll do the right things. I'm pretty proud of him right now. Dog hates you. I want to say fuck you. I'm sorry. It was right there. No, you had to. I want to say cloud defensive so bad, but I do know some people that have had issues with their rains. And I know that there's been, it feels like there's always a new drama there. So I just don't feel comfortable saying that. I have been very happy with mine, but I'll tell you, the ones that I genuinely have never really heard of a problem with or had a problem with is the stream light, like the Pro-Tak rifle light. It's pretty inexpensive. It's decent for everything that I'm doing. Like I really like them. I think they're good. And I've never had a problem with them.
Mag light and duct tape. Yeah. Nick, what do you think? What rifle lights do you use? I have a couple of the clouds and I really like them. But I agree that they've had some issues. And they're also kind of expensive. They're too expensive to be having issues. Yeah. I have heard of issues with the stream lights, but I have not experienced them yet. And I have a handful of them and they're reasonably priced. I think that they're a really good balance of price to performance. Yeah. So yeah, if you are more budget-minded, then I think stream lights the way to go. If you are looking to spend some money, then take your pick from like Surefire or Mod Light or I don't know, Malcov. Yeah. Malcov? Yeah. I think they mostly do parts, but you can like kind of piece together a light.
Oh, nice. From them. Yeah, that's cool. Jeremy, any thoughts on this one? I think you guys have covered it extensively. All right. There you have it. Hopefully that answers your question. Oh, but don't. Don't get that. What's the WML from Enforce? Yeah. I hate the button on that one. Me fucking too. And I don't know if they fixed it, but they used to have really bad parasitic drain. The metal ones are better. I actually just clicked one that's been sitting in a safe for like a year and it still worked. So that was good sign. That's cool. But the button's so pretty bad. Yeah, it's really easy to bounce off the buttons under recoil, even even on a low recoil gun. Which is the craziest thing. And it's like the pistol lights and the rifle lights are bad in the opposite direction. So like the pistol light operates how a rifle light should operate and the rifle light operates how a pistol light should operate. Yeah, I don't know. They're just kind of
kind of backwards. Jeremy, next question. Oh, anonymous coward from Hawaii. Good evening, dads. Nick's not a dad. Well, I guess this isn't for Nick. Maybe he's just calling us his his daddy. I've been told I've been called daddy before. No, he said dads, not daddy. No, that's a that's a different. I was gonna ask if I go to Savage's house for dinner, but mom, Angel said no because she's a PDF. So here's my other question. Like if he's coulders are bothering me while I'm working, what do you think the best pistol caliber pistol and caliber is to use on them? Chat P-G-P-T said if you shoot full-poll loads that it'll work, but there may be 18 years of fines involved. Anyways, they always seem to bother me in the middle of the day when I'm carrying heavy things. Some of the cougars are really big and some are skinny. I don't know if they think I'm a snack or what. Anyways, I'm genuinely curious to know what to use on them. P-S, they also
sent me noods. So if you want to see them text me xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Much love from your local FedEx guy. I wonder if it was my code that censored that out. I think it probably does. What kind of cougars are we talking about here? Because at this point, I'm confused. Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on. So listen, I think the key point here is if you're talking about the booby-cougars, you know, the chances of them carrying a baby to term at their age is probably very minimal. So like, I don't think you're really should be worried about 18 years of anything to be honest. And most of them are on SSRI. So like, you know, the chance of them lindsey clancing your kids are even, you know, greater, I think, the average. Why would you need to defend yourself against cougars? You just embrace them.
Yeah, exactly. And just let it happen, man. Yeah, they're not smart enough to look you up on Google or anything. So just give them a fake name and take care of it. So now the question is if he's actually talking about cougars, like animal cougars, what is the best? I mean, 10 mil, 357. Sure. Nine mil. Ten mil. I don't think I would be too terribly uncomfortable with nine mil. I mean, bigger would probably be better, but. I mean, here's the thing. Like if Jeremy was coming after me, I would use nine mil on him. I feel like why, if I use it on him, why would I not use it on a cougar? Sure. You know? And honestly, another point that I would like to make is the cougars, like, you know, the glory days are behind them. Generally, they'll do whatever you want to do because they know that their chances are limited and you can talk them into some dirty shit.
Or so I've heard. I've known some cougars in my day. I've known some. Time or two. Yep. I am speaking from a little bit of experience. Yeah, you, the best thing to deal with them with is a nine inch gun. Yeah, but you know, three inch barrels just fine. It's going to do the job. I found that they like a longer barrel with a larger caliber. But again, like nine, though, nine's pretty, I mean, like, that is, that is a longer barrel, but it's not like that long. It's not the longest of barrels, but you know, it's up there in the, you know, continuum of barrel length. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I mean, listen, look, a nine is going to be fine for them, but a three is also good. Like I said, the, you know, their chances are dwindling. They're, they're holding on for whatever, whatever they can get at this point.
And I'm still not exactly sure what we're talking about. But I think we're talking about like the, the feline animal, correct? Yeah. Sure. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, three inches, 15 times in a day is going to keep any cat away. It's all I'm trying to say. What you will about my shield about my bodyguard too. Anyway, I'm going to go look, I'll look up the number because I would like to see pictures of the kiddies. If you know what I mean. And then the final question from anonymous character from Montana. My Calico Kitty has been excessively licking his asshole. How many times does Nick need to wipe after a chileble? Thanks and keep the cat facts coming. I love listening to we like kiddies. You know what's weird is that he says Calico Kitty and then he says his.
Yeah. Calico male calico's are exceedingly rare. Interesting. I did not know that I do not actually know anything about cats. Let's see. I don't like cats really. One in every three thousand Calico cats is a male. What? Yep. It's because of the it's like a recessive gene or something that works out to be. Let's see. The gene for orange and black fur color is carried on the X chromosome. Normal male cats have an X Y chromosome combination and can only inherit one color while females can inherit both. For a male cat to display the tri-color Calico pattern, they usually have to have an X Y chromosome makeup. So they're a. It's a chimera formed by the fusion of two early embryos. So you got like two cats and one right there.
That's a double cat. Oh, does it twice as much? Probably a chimera cat. Yeah. Well, actually, what was the. So human beings can be chimera as well. It's very rare in humans. It's actually more prevalent in cats. But humans can be chimera as well. And humans can be chimera just in like a singular body part. So it was a story years ago where a guy had a baby with his wife. And the kid came out in a like an eye color that possibly couldn't have come from the father. Like he was blue-eyed and the mom was blue-eyed and the kid came out with brown eyes. So that's like a big red fly. And basically he used his wife of cheating and she denied it over and over and over and over again. So they did a DNA attest again. And I forget how they found out, but he basically had one testicle that was different DNA than
his other. Oh, what the fuck? Yeah. And so the sperm that impregnated his wife came from the chimera testicle essentially? Bro, that sounds like some shit that a bro doc would do. He'd be like, all right, listen. I'm going to tell you, husband. Yeah, that's, I bet their relationship did not last like that. That's some betrayal on both sides that I just don't think you recover from. Yeah, that that accusation. Yeah. You're like, oh, it actually is mine. Oh, my bad. Sorry. I didn't realize that I had a black nut. Yeah. Fucking. All right. So J-Law from Tennessee for the light question wins to the tonight's prize on dear WLS. So just email automated at we like shooting comm and crystal get your validated verified and get your prize in the mail for the rest of you. And your name and question to 743 500 2171.
And we'll be sure to talk about your kitty facts next time. Yeah. Well, I was very anti climactic, but you know what? We like it. You know what else I like? What? I like dying. And that's why I wanted to talk about medical here off there real quick. So if your husband accuses you of cheating and you're sure that you didn't need to side, that maybe he needs less blood in his body, well, you probably don't want to go to jail forever. So you're going to have to back that off. You know, the first attack probably get away with, but you're going to need to probably save his life. Nanick, do you feel as if if you saw someone bleeding or, you know, not breathing that you could do the things necessary to help them not die? Could I? Yeah. Maybe it depends on the injury.
Would I? Very unlikely. Yeah. I would just be like, hey, stop it or start it, I guess, but right. Which ever, whichever situation like congratulations, I'm sorry that happened to you. Now if I came up and like someone was decapitated in the road and not breathing and bleeding, I probably couldn't do anything to help them. Correct. Yeah. But let's say that your wife, like a tax or I'm sorry, your buddy's wife attacks him after he accuses her of cheating when the baby is a Camara, you know, and stabs him in his arm. Like you feel like maybe you could help with that? Oh, yeah, turn it get to the neck and call 911. Solves all her problems. Yeah. Cause everybody's, yeah, cause now you're the one who's going to jail for murder, not even her. No, I'm trying to help. Good Samaritan laws unprotected. Unfortunately, Good Samaritan doesn't find out that the baby's actually mine. Good Samaritan law doesn't apply if you're negligent in the application.
That's not negligence. I stopped the bleeding. Yeah. negligence, causation and, you know, applied in good faith and with all rational skills. So anyway, the baby is nicks. And he decided not to put a turn to get on your arm because he didn't go by one and medical your outfiters. So I always challenge listeners. I'm like, okay, go by a turn to get this week. You're going to buy some hemostatic gauze and like some ace bandages or Israeli bandages or, or anything just to hold that gauze pack in once you pack a wound. Then I think I talked about NPAs. And then, you know, once they're always open and they can actually breathe through it, then you need to make sure that their lungs are actually doing the job. And one of the common things is a tension new mothorax. If you have a hole into the plural space into the chest, you're going to want to plug that up so that their lungs can actually do their job.
Lungs are incredibly fragile. So you want to be able to put a chest seal on to any holes, basically from the collarbone down to the belly button. Just you're going to put a chest seal on, put them on both sides. So I challenge you this week. This next payday, go buy a chest seal. They're in the $20 range and, you know, then learn how to use them. You can watch the YouTube videos. You could take my med course, sivmedical.com, coupon code WLSSlife. But you have to have the gear and you have to have the knowledge. The gear is very easy to get medical gear outfitters.com coupon code WLSSlife. And then the knowledge you can get it for free. You could take my course like there's a ton of places to learn how to use this stuff. So hopefully you went and bought a tourniquet or a couple even. Hopefully you bought a hemostatic gauze and pressure bandages. Hopefully you bought an NPA and this week, hopefully you go buy some chest seals. And if you already have trauma kits, if you have other things, build a new one because
by buying the stuff individually, you're going to learn exactly what you need, what you have, what you want and buy only the stuff you need. So again, medicalgearoffiters.com coupon code WLSSlife. All right, it is time for some gun industry news. XTECH has released their ATG Advanced Tactical Gear Enhanced AR-15 Lower Parts Kit featuring upgraded components for improved durability and ergonomics. The kit includes an enhanced trigger group and an ambidextrous safety selector and other precision revolver. How much is it is what you what you're going to ask, right? Yes, 79 95. Okay. That seems price not bad for a standard lower part. But it's enhanced though. What makes it an enhanced?
It comes with a Magwell and one of their adjustable angle grips. Is that a fucking polymer? Magwell? Yeah. It's a polymer lower? No, no, no, it's a, oh, on the picture maybe, but he has polymer, it's a polymer magwell that goes on to existing mill spec lowers. I'm looking at this thing. I can't tell. Yeah, the photo is weird. The photo sucks. The photo is, why does the photo look like the lower pixels? It's like compressed or something. Yeah. I don't know. It's bad and they should feel bad. They really should. Okay, and that picture looks aluminum. Generally what, what do you pay for a lower parts kit? Generally Nick. Usually I buy one like without a grip and whatnot. Yeah, same.
And like just kind of basic either no fire control group or a basic fire control group. So like 40, 50 bucks. Yeah. But this, like I said, this comes with the Magwell and stuff, so I get it. Yeah. And the, and I'm not crazy about the adjustable grip, but I know some people like those a lot. Yeah. So I like to dip first, but I do not like them anymore. I think there's just better options that are cheaper. Yeah. I, I got an email today. Yeah. That outer wild outpost, which is the old white label. White label. Yeah. I'm going to email that they're shutting down their web store because their OEM stuff is just fucking too much for them to keep up with. Yeah, good for them. So yeah, right. I was like, I fuck like, but I get a lot of it. Like they make good shit. Like some of a bitch, like especially like parts and stuff.
So they're like, you know, get your shit while it's, while it's going. So I went on there and they didn't have any like full parts kits, but they had a spring kit, a pin and detent kit, a slide catch with Magdrop and bolt release and a trigger guard separately. Like those four things, I'm like, well, that's a fucking lower. Yeah. And the price, I was like, hmm, so I just ordered 30 of each of them. Nice. And I'll just fucking staple them together and put a price on them because the price, hmm, it couldn't beat the price on that one. That's cool. And then a couple, you know, their bowl carriers are really good. They didn't have any standard ones, but they had a couple titanium nitride and a couple of, um, what's the silver ones? T.I. And? No, that's the gold ones. Oh, yeah. They had a couple titanium nitride ones and they had a couple. For some reason, the word borax popped into my head. Nickel boron. Nickel boron. That was like, what? Nickel borax.
Nickel borax. Nickel borax. Yeah. Trying to kill some ants with this bolt carrier group. Yeah. I want to, I want to wash my clothes with this bolt carrier. Did you know that the ant bait is usually borax based? Oh, really? Yeah. It's oxyclean. You're going to, you know, forge some meltdown and forge some, some steel. Yeah. And, um, and, but I ended up, I ended up dropping like two grand because I was like, well, price is right. And I'm not going to fucking see this. Uh, I'm not going to see anything up for a while. So yeah. Dr. Scary guy in the chat said he should about 25 pack of the Anderson bulk pack lower parts kits. Honestly, I probably have Anderson lower parts kits in 75% of my ARs. We even 100% of the ones that I built and not 100, but like, it's a lot. I had a ton of those back in the day. Oh, the other thing that they, oh, that was the other thing that I bought a shit ton of. I have not been able to find H three buffers.
Oh, yeah. Like they, they've been just with all the FRT's and shit, you know, you need an H two or an H three to make most of them generally run. So they had, um, they did some nine mil parts over there. So they had, um, but they had nine millimeter buffer and buffer tube kits. So spring buffer tube and plate castle nut and a 5.5 ounce buffer. Nice. And it was cheaper than what I can get a H three buffer for at my distributors. No shit. So I was like, well, fucking, I'll just rip the buffer out of this pack, repackage it, sell it for what a fucking H three goes for. And then I got tube and I can just sell fucking tube right separately and call it a fucking day, dude. Yeah, that's awesome. I think I got like 20 of those or 30 of those. I think I saw somebody else started doing lower parts kits. Um, who was it?
Because it was actually a pretty good deal. And I was like, that's a weird thing for these people to manufacture. But now I can't remember who it was. I'll think of it at some point. But yeah, I don't remember. It's interesting that they're basically going 100% OEM. Just shows you how few companies actually make their own stuff in house these days. Next up, we got the shield arms S 20, which is a 20 round magazine for Glock 43 X 48 has released 3499 retail. They're available steel body Palmer base plate and follower. I don't know that there's really anything else to say. I don't have any of the, I do have a Glock 48. It is a pretty decent gun. I just don't ever shoot it. I did carry it for quite a while. And for quite a while, it was just the one that I kept on my desk. But this is relevant to my interests, I think. And the price I had my interests.
It actually didn't realize this had come out. Yeah, available for purchase now. And this release, this was September 9th article over at the Fire Emblem. Oh, yeah, because they used to have the plus five extension on the 15 rounders that they made. Yeah, yeah, I should load to their 15 rounders with the plus five's. But you could put the plus five's on these. Actually, I have some plus 10s too. I could put a plus 10 on one of these. And that's, and then you could put a switch on it. Yeah. You could. So what I think would be cool would be an A, and, and, and, I don't know, maybe someday there will be one, but a, a nine mill, like an AR nine or something similar that takes these mags would be sweet so that you could share mags between your carry gun and like a backpack gun or something. Yeah.
That would be what? Was Jeremy just randomly flexing? I was doing something else. Okay. Okay. Welcome to the gun show. The fucking the lighting in here's amazing. And I just want to make you uncomfortable. Mission successful. No, not really. The joke's on you. I'm into that shit. I'm a nobody. I know by you, but I'm hard. Actually, I know how to turn Sean on ready. Comes as mustache. I do not find it sexually attractive. I just think that it fits you and it's fucking dope actually. Goddamn. You fucking give one home me a compliment and suddenly you're home as sexual. Not saying you're gay. I'm just saying you've seen up close. I've seen one up close. I found my glasses. I've never seen them before. I've never seen anything worse. Yeah. Cause, you know, for anybody who got sensitive and who immediate
based on personal thinks when they want to 오늘, it's never too midnight. What you think? Nah, that's just pretty intense. And before we say... Ma'am. Like you will find a big number of people who sneak away from the safest sign Myanmar Wasser lord is. And it's crystals around the tails. I don't know if you팰 a blackboard. So that's a great way we'll be able to overcome them and stay We got this. Yeah. So obviously, uh, Gideon optics has done the pebble. This is the E, which is the enclosed, uh, emitter red dot. I fucking love it. I think it's great. It's great. On here, you have to push out the, uh, the rear site. This actually, uh, Smith and Weston has now released the bodyguard 2.0 with a factory fitted Viridian RFX1. On the top of it. Now, Nick, I ask you to look at this. And tell me just your thoughts and
kind of described to the people like what you see, what character is it? Hang off the back. Right. Why does it hang off the back? It's kind of weird. It was like, there wasn't enough room. I mean, I guess the, the, the pebble E hangs off the back just the tiniest bit. Yeah, it's just like wraps around the back. Yeah. Yeah. And I don't, I don't quite get that. But the, like the craziest thing that I don't understand is the optic is scalloped in the same area that the slide is scalloped, but the, the fucking scallops do not line up. Like they're, they're off. Do you see that? Oh shit. Yeah. You're right. They are off a little bit. How bad that looks. Um, yeah. I don't want to burn it in red dot period. Not even if it was free. I do love the bodyguard 2.0. It just, this is a really odd, uh, setup.
And I wonder if they just, they were like, oh, yeah, people want to red dot on this gun. So it's, let's come up with something quick. Also, um, the price is not bad for the bodyguard 2.0 and the optic. I believe is 599. So not much more, but yeah, look at that overhang. It like hangs off a lot in the back. So yeah, I don't know. Yeah. I don't want it. And yeah, even on the side view, those scallops don't really line up. Just like, yeah, it would, does it affect function? No, it doesn't affect function at all. It's not going to change anyone's life. Uh, they said the battery life lanes at 30,000 hours on a CR 1632. It does appear as if it's a side load. Although, oh, wait, I wonder if the battery's in the back there. Okay. So Nick, no battery in the top, correct? I, I, yeah, I guess so. Okay. None.
No battery tray on the right. Nothing on the left. No battery tray on the left. No battery tray on the front. You must have to take it off to put the battery in. So yeah, maybe or, or did you, didn't you just say it was a side side load battery? No, I didn't. I was trying to say that it's not a side load. Oh, okay. They show us both sides left side there, right side there. So you must have to take it off to replace the battery. Whereas on the Gideon Pebble, obviously, this is a side load battery. I don't know. It just, uh, looks weird. Yeah. Feels weird. I'd engineer that with being so fucking little and molded. I have an idea. Yeah. Yeah. So anyway, that is available now if you're into that kind of thing, you're probably not. You guys are, you know, you guys are very classy gun owners. Uh, the speaking of classy, the Vailon Watchtower Defense upcoming Flagchev
9 millimeter pistol. Uh, this is also from our buddies over at the Fire and Blog. Sure, this tab. Uh, so watch tower defense. You guys may remember them. They were. Got what was it? It was F1 firearms. Then got sold into watch tower. Then there was a bunch of drama with watch tower. And now they are releasing this pistol, which my god, it looks very sexy, right? Mm hmm. Uh, this is just prototype that they've got common for 16 hours. They're 72 thousand dollars. Oh, yeah, probably. Let me take it off screen so I can actually look at the price here. It is nice looking. Oh, yeah, it is. Oh, my code filtered out the word pounds because it thought that it was money related. Jeremy, for that gun, for that 2011 from watch tower defense, what do you think the price is going to be realistically knowing them, uh, 65 hundred. Nick, 7,500. Well, guys, I am glad to say
that you were actually very wrong. You both lose gun fights because it's only going to be MSRP of around $4,500. Mm hmm. Oh, it's a bargain. Yeah. Yeah. So not bad at all. I mean, honestly, looks looks pretty nice. Uh, has a Doug Kohnig, FCG and Hammer comes in DLC Black or PVD graph fighting copper comes with two standard 1911 double stack mags, uh, Tritium front optional removable rear blade with the RMR object plate, billet aluminum steel, magwell grip, frame of 74 stainless slide is 416 R stainless barrel is 4.6 inch bull barrel. Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is obviously nine millimeter. It's less money than I thought and interesting to see this company continue to keep reinventing themselves like good on you. Uh, every time I think that they're down, they pull me back in. You owe arms in T seven SBR, which is marketed as a civilian
legal version inspired by the HK MP seven. It's a short build rifle chambered in 4.6 by 30 and looks a lot like the MP seven. Let me show it to you guys. Oh, God. Wow, it does. Yeah, looks an awful lot like it. All right, there we go. So yeah, this is the UOM's in T seven. Um, do people actually want an MP seven? What's the chamber? I mean, 4.6 by 30. Okay, they couldn't have chambered it in five seven something. Lots of lots of people want these. Yeah, lots of people want it, but like God damn, quit putting in caliber. Nobody's got. Well, how much do you guys think this costs? 32 hundred. Nick. Uh, yeah, I think I think Jeremy's right. Well,
three to 3500. Looks like it's going to be about 3,800. Okay. So, uh, man, I just, I, I think this is a lot like the 10 millimeter guys. They all fucking just rage on the internet about how everything needs to be in 10 millimeter, but talking to all of our contacts, they say that everyone demands 10 millimeter and everything, but nobody actually buys 10 millimeter and anything that, you know, like they'll come out with a 10 millimeter gun because so many people demand it and then be able to count on both hands the amount that they sell. I think that's going to be what this is 4, 6 by 30 is incredibly expensive. Like do these look like an MP seven. Yeah, do I think anyone actually want these and is willing to pay almost four grand for it? No, I disagree. A bunch of people bought the Tommy built ones and they were shitty. Yeah, I just, I just like you're right. And looking at the comments, somebody's saying that this company bought the, bought Tommy
Tommy built and then supposedly fixed this. Oh, interesting. So this is a allegedly a fixed Tommy built MP seven clone. Well, but yeah, I think people are going to buy it. Like I said, people bought the Tommy built and then there were tons like I was shot. Who the fuck is you? Arms. When those came out, I didn't expect to like see a whole lot about it. And then the number of people that I saw posting that were like, yes, I have one and it doesn't work. It was crazy. Huh, okay. Well, I stand, I stand corrected. Well, I mean, I guess the market will bear it out and we will see. But yeah, it is out there. Yeah, I would think about this if it was a five seven. I, but four six get fucked. Yeah, I, I think a different caliber would be cool. Four six is a fucking fever dream. Yeah, or, or better yet, something very much like this,
put in nine millimeter. Yeah. Yeah, like an actual useful cartridge. I was somebody, well, I wonder if, well, it would still be expensive. Five seven would probably be, I'm just trying to think of like, I mean, fucking five seven is not cheap by any means. Cheaper four six and at least it's available. Available is the key term there. I've got an FFL since 2012. I have never had a box of four six in my shop ever. Uh, nor do, and I've only ever had one person asked for four six. I don't know that I've ever even seen a four six by 30. Um, you can get it for 60 cents around on ammo seeking. That's fucking way less than I thought it would be. Yes, I mean, that's like almost two, that's good quality two to three price. Is it actually in stock though? Uh, says it is listed on ammo seek and then you get
there. It's like, Oh, gonna be able to. But even then, um, I am seeing, uh, like 60 to 75 cents around. I'm gonna go to RS on see if they have any four six. See what it costs. Well, he does that, Nick. Tell us why somebody would want to get night sites. Uh, so they can see their sites in less than ideal conditions. Maybe you're in a dark vehicle or space trying to shoot out into a bright space. Um, maybe you're in a just dimly lit area because it's dusk or, you know, or dark outside. Yeah, night time. Um, yeah, there are all kinds of reasons to want to be able to see your sites in sub optimal lighting conditions. Truly. Uh, so night vision. No, that's the type of hard shelter. Oh, we're talking about night sites. Yeah, you're right. You're right. Night vision, uh,
is the company that we work with and have for a very long time. When I asked, mother fucking Patrick Murphy, what, uh, you know, what, what he thinks the best use of night size night sites is he said transitional spaces and I totally agree. Like you're in the dark. You turn on a light down the hall. So you can target identify, still see your sites, even though you're in the dark and the threat may be in the light. It's just like it's a good way to do it. Uh, they are not expensive. You can save money by using coupon code WLS life. And again, that's night vision and I GHG FIS I.O.N. dot com. Nope. Nope. Am I out? Nope. Yeah, I must be out. Better go back to that original one. Okay, hold on. Uh, RSR had no four six ammo available at all. Uh-huh. I mean, that's not shocking. Right. Sports
South does have some the cheapest cost per round. My cost is 70 cents a shot. That's the cheapest my, my cost. What's your mark, what's your markup on ammo? I mean, for that, it would probably be double this fucking you. Well, no, I was so like, they're saying retail would be a little over a dollar shot. That's like, I would probably sell that for $45 for 50 rounds is about where I would put that in my shop. So what is that 90 cents a round? Yeah. Not bad. ATF loosens rules for suppressor repairs and caliber changes. ATF is, you've got to inset expands what constitutes permissible repairs on NFA registered suppressors without requiring a new tax dam performed for this includes replacing or modifying parts to change the caliber provided the overall length of the suppressor does not
increase the change reduces red blah blah blah blah. Uh, we saw this coming. There will be probably a lot more of this coming soon with the updated guidance and advisories as we see them. Now, surefire has released the XC 3000 lumensub compact weapon light. I like the X300 turbo. It's fantastic. This one looks pretty cool as well. Retails for about $370. So kind of a, kind of a, you know, pricey thing looks like the activators are good. Fitment list compatibility at the Glock 33X from 48 the Hellcat the HNK CC nine that I don't think anyone cares about and the CIG P365. They have swapable rail adapters. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's that's pretty cool in my opinion. Let me show you a little bit of that. I think it looks pretty good. Yeah. Yeah, it's not bad. That switch design
looks pretty pretty good. Yep, agreed. And it takes us here 123 a. Obviously has like, you know, all the stuff that you would want, uh, 1000 lumens, 14,000 candela, not a ton of candela actually, but pretty small fits on the, fits on the subcompact stuff pretty well. So I think you'll like that one. Next up is, oh, okay. I don't know much about this one, but TRB upgraded vampire pistol. So this is from the firearm blog. James Reeves reviewed the vampire. These are imported from Bosnia to the United States. The prices were pretty crazy. I think then, but since then the retail price of the vampire has dropped to about a grand and looks like they're, I don't know. Do you guys remember these at all? Let me
not really. I don't know much about them, but this is what they look like. So they are cool looking. Yeah. Yeah, like I don't know much about it, but I don't even, it looks like, I don't know that it looks like a CZ really. Maybe a little like a CZ and a C, at a baby. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Red dot compatible. The red dot sits where I want you to try to say the designer's name of this company, of the gun. According industry insiders, the chief designer of the pistol. I'm liking it's right under the top view of the gun. Oh, yeah. Clearly it's Bosje, Blagovic Blagovic. Close. Nick? Nick, would you like to try this? No. Bosje, Bosje, Blagovic. Blagovic. Okay. You have to say every letter. English is the only language where you,
you can do that. Interesting. So Bosje, Bosje, Blagovic. Bosje, Bosje, Blagovic. I'm summoning a fucking demon. Anyway, looks like they'll be cheaper, upgraded, take sites. What else do I care about here? Did we care about the retail Rxp 22? I don't think so. Yeah. It's 22 LR. It's $250. Yeah. I don't think we really care about those very much. What is that? Blagovic. Blagovic. Yeah, but like why not just buy the TX22? I hate to recommend to us for anything, but that's just a pretty good one. This thing looks like a, oh, it looks like an XD with a hammer. Yeah. Yeah. It doesn't look that cool. It's XD-coded.
It is without a clearly marked grip song. So I don't know. Anyway, I think that's going to do it here before I let you go. I wanted to mention that right now, Gunners America, if you, they're doing, they're pushing membership. If you buy a life membership, you get a free suppressor right now. I don't know if they've announced the number of those, but they have quite a few of them. So like if you've been thinking about it, go to gunowners.org-wls and go join and keep in mind. Maybe go even go to their front page from there and just double-check make sure that you're ordering the life membership that gets you a free suppressor, which I think is a pretty awesome thing. Again, that's Gunners.org slash WLS is where you can do that and you know, support a no compromised gun rights org. They've been just absolutely kicking ass for us and I've never been happier. So go check out Gunners of America, get a free suppressor.
If you like this show and you want to support the show, agency 171.com is the place that you can do that. It's very easy and I think you can do it for as little as five bucks a month. And we would truly appreciate it. Suicide Prevention Line is 988. You can text that or call it from your phone and we want you here to fight with us. We want you here, you know, being the right kind of people supporting freedom, saying down with flock, things like that. We want you here with us. And that'll do it for this episode of Double Tap. Don't forget, always prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery. If you have any questions, Nick's telephone number is going to be in the credits and he will get you answered up and we will catch you next time. We love you. Goodbye.
I don't come to you. It's at the very end. It's at the very end. It's coming up here any second, any second. It'll be there. It is at 719. This podcast has been a production of the Firearms Radio Network. For more, visit FirearmsRadio.net.
