next it is going to be the princesses turn um princesses got an initiative She's been out cold. I don't know. Honestly, I don't know. All the NPCs have initiative. So Bordeaux still paralyzed. Let's see how he does on this turn. Bordeaux, how you looking? A six. Not gonna work. Not gonna work. Bordeaux is still paralyzed. The princess is still going to float away at the same pace. Next is gonna be Vertigo's turn. Well, I feel amazing. I'm going to immediately take this newfound power, this sense of being that I've been given.
And who is the closest enemy to me right now? Massive Mood. But Mood is engaged in a duel with Theranand, correct? Yes, so then 15 feet away you see Vespero and Lilith. I level my rifle at Vespero. Okay. Part of me wanted to say something cool, but I just want to shoot him. Okay. This is flavorful. Yeah. I like, I just like, I get ready to say something. I just click my tongue and I just aim down the sights and I shoot. You lock eyes with this tiefling who's as glow uncannily and defiantly. As they stare down, your rifle make an attack roll. 19. That is enough to hit. Yes. Real life this bump. I don't care if it's grunge.
Okay. It's never going to kill me. Make this tiefling. Huh? Cheefling. So not fire. Yeah, thank you. I remember. I'm very proud that I remembered. I'm going to use electricity once again. Okay. And what's the damage? Damage is whole 21. Whoa. I'm also. I am also going to add. Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? Psychic blade to this, which can affect a range of attacks. When I hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can expend one use of your bardic inspiration to deal an extra 2d6 psychic damage to that target. You may only do so once per round on your turn. Okay. Roll the damage, please. Uh, right. Extra 3d6.
One, two, three. 10 and extra 10 psychic damage. Uh. Interesting. There's one damage. You level your rifle at Vespro, thinking for a moment to insult them, deciding against it the last minute, firing off Vespro attempts to raise his simutars to deflect this magically infused bullet. However, for the only time in this entire fight, well, second time other than getting pumped faked by Marigold, his focus and concentration fades for just a minute as he locks eyes with you. And this bullet strikes him the chest, knocking him unconscious, see if he lies back. I give a little nod as he hits the ground.
You can see that Lillith is extremely shaken by this. Extreme. Extreme damage that has just flew past her almost like a glancing at it as if she's glad it did not happen to her because that would have hurt real bad. But yet she is very shaken by her compatriot being downed so quickly and efficiently. It's funny that you guys keep downing these guys with guns. You sling a lot of spells and you swing a lot of swords. If it works, then sometime, but then you just look at every like, you know what? Fuck this guy. This machine kills fucking frauds. Yeah, he is downed. Next, it is going to be Marigold's turn. All right, Lillith, Lillith is seeing out for me.
You have a downed defling barred next to Lillith, where 50 feet away from you. Yeah, they are downed. The princess is floating away to the north about 30 feet away. Ida is hot on their heels. And you are kind of just right next to Ferdinand. And the paralyzed boardy. Ferdinand is locked in a duel with an angry barbarian. Here is the thing. You can hit him. It's fine. Well, no, everything I have is really dangerous. How far is the princess from me? About 35. A little more than 30. And Ida, what happened when you tried to shoot under it?
She just missed. You missed. Yeah, hard to see thing that you can't see. Hard to hit thing you can't see. So here is my thing. I could hit it, but I would hit the princess, too. I don't think princess would like that. But you know, that's her problem, not mine. And she wouldn't die. No, no, no, no, no, her health. And then Ida could grab her and drag her out, but then Ida would have to get hit. You will also hit Ruex. And Ruex's vessel is destroyed. He is unleashed upon the world. But that he really funny. They've brought him a few times, but it'd be really funny. I guess I won't cast Cloud of Dagger on top of the princess right now. Maybe not. You could, but it would hurt.
It would hurt a lot of people. I've heard a lot of conventions. I could get really fucking crazy. What does that mean? I have another spell that is an AOE. Do you have lighting blue? No, it's the storm. I could just like summon a hurricane. True, you do have that. Oh, it's the storm. But that one's only bludgeoning damage. It's less damage than being stabbed. Yeah. And it's difficult to make it difficult to range. They couldn't keep running away with her. You do have a angry wizard. Oh, no, I'm sorry. Everyone in it would take bludgeoning damage no matter what. And then whoever I chose would be taking a lot of lighting damage. But then lighting damage probably isn't. Miracles just like sitting here, like, you know,
thinking out loud to the world. I like to imagine a giant abacus trying to calculate how much HP the person is using. I'm using minor illusion with an avid kiss to be like, well, I could do this such damage. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, because the thing is besides this, I have charmed person detect thoughts and dispel magic. And what the hell is any of that going to do in this scenario? That's all you have. You have way more than that. Well, okay, I have a bunch of cantrips. My spells are charmed person, major, or which bolt? Detect thoughts, cloud of daggers. Thunderstept, dispel magic, storm sphere, and spirit of death. So, um, I have some practical things and then like my loony tunes, powers that are simultaneously very helpful and not great in close mortars, depending. Yeah, which bolt as well? You can just launch a witch bolt and do continuous damage or something. What if I miss? Hold on, I have, I have something else in most lower server features.
Hold on, give me a second, I'm sorry. Okay. Okay, okay. I have a plan. Um, so, I'm going to, I still have my bardic inspiration point. Um, we're gonna, we're gonna stack some shit. I am going to cast, let me make sure that I can, I think that I can, but I just wanna pull her up, which bolt here do you feel? Um, what was I thankful that you don't get what you said about components? Um, move down. Okay, Marcus. Yes. How far? There's the princess that's being carried away. And then who else, who else is still standing that needs to get their ass beat? Lilith is about 20 feet away from you. Okay. Um, Lilith is about 20 feet away from you. Lilith, after she ran away, she only teleported to Vespero, who was 15 feet away and you moved a little bit towards the- Okay. So I'm gonna, um, Marigold is going to cast, which bolt?
Um, wait, okay, which bolt? A beam of crackling blue energy, lances out towards a creature within range, forming a sustained arc of lightning between me and the target. Um, make a range spell attack against the creature, the target needs to be 12 lightning damage. Um, on each of my turns for the duration. Going for Lilith here? Yes, but I have a little bit of a range spell. Come on. Part of my storm sorcery, sorcerer features is that I can enact twin spells, um, which I can- Okay, you can do it. But a sorcery point equal- like whatever. I can spend a sorcery point to target a second creature within range in the same spell. Um, uh, yeah. Okay, cool. So I'm going to cast it on Lilith and then also shoot it out towards, um, whatever I assume is- is carrying the princess away from us.
How- what was the range again? 30 feet. I thought I could- That is too far. You said I was- oh, I'm sorry. He's 35. Can I walk five feet? Okay, sorry. You can. Just check it. Okay, hold on. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Um, but- but we're gonna- Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Okay. Okay, so, um, I cast first, I'm using my bonus action first, tempestrous magic. As a bonus action, you can cause gust of air to surround you before or after you cast a spell, um, that allows you to fly up to 10 feet without provoking an attack of opportunity. I am going to use tempestrous magic to fly closer to the princess. Um, okay. And, uh, it's- And you're blasting two beams? Yes, and there's something about- I'm trying to be really badass right now.
Um, I also have the- The ability to suddenly control the weather. I'm just trying to make a lot of fucking wind blow and be a really scary, and she's rising up into the air, um, and she tries to put on her scariest voice possible, um, and she's like, drop her, um, and then shoots her arms out in both directions and casts towards both Lilith and whatever creature is carrying the princess. Okay. Uh, make- Right about the bonus. Make a ranged attack against Lilith first. Okay. Oh, I got a natural 20! Let's go! Okay. Roll your damage now. Let's double it. Um, Sevin, and I don't think I can add anything to that. Okay. She takes 14. Make a ranged attack against the unseen creature. And then this I am gonna- I mean, I'm using my bardic inspiration. I'm supposed to- Uh, uh, uh, I roll- You want to roll disadvantage?
Uh, so too dice, and you'll keep the lowest. Wait, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I see, I see. Okay, hold on. This is an invisible being that you cannot see. It's a metal roll tougher. Um, and I'm sorry, and I'm adding- Your spell attack. I'm gonna spell attack. Oh, okay. Um, a 25 and a 22. Okay. It's gonna hit. Maybe! The princess falls. Um, and they would have- It was six damage if that matters to you at all. I don't know. It does. It does. Okay. Um, and then- You can see that your- Your- Your arcing blue lightning is colliding with, uh, this woman, and along with something you can't quite see. That is kind of near, uh, Aida and the princess who's laying in the sand now. The, um,
The spell, I believe, can last up to six turns. So if I don't change anything, right? You can just keep the spell up and still do other spells as well. I believe. Oh, I'm not sure. I have to double check that, but for now, that is what you do. Yes, I was just trying to see- I was making sure that they take damage on their turn, but they don't. If they do, um, yeah, we're good. Sorry. Oh, yeah. I'll grim reaper. Is he gonna attack a woman that he's haunting still? Yeah. Okay, do it. Let's do that attack. Okay. The crit. This is such an insane spell. Okay, you hit. What's the damage? One, two, eight plus three. Uh, eight. Okay. She actually took quite a bit of damage here between your witchbow and the grim fucking reaper. Um, the grim fucking reaper.
Uh, she does take this damage. Um, that is your turn. Yes. The grim reaper kind of like floats over and slashes out her with his sleeve. Again, um, she, it is her turn. Uh, Vesbro no longer has a turn. He's unconscious. So she is going to shout out again at Mudge. She says, Mudge, come here now. But you can see that Mudge does not listen. She looks back at Vesbro. Attempts to take a step towards your group to go retrieve her compatriot. However, she is still afflicted with the fear condition and cannot approach. As such, she takes us that back towards Vesbro and a rectangle of light.
Engulfs the two of them and they disappear. As they do so, you can see that their mounted, uh, sorry, her, uh, mount, which was engulfed in sand, is going to arrive for just a moment and just fall dead, the second that she disappears. Mudge is the only one remaining and he is going to, furiously and robotically, continue to just attack Ferdinand. All right. Uh, that's not gonna hit. That's an 18. Uh, is a 24 going to hit you for net. What the? Uh, 24 is going to, sorry, threaten to hit you. That's gonna hit. Let me get rid of some of these characters in our longer in the battle and the damage here is going to be.
Wow. Oh, eight damage. You rolled a one. He does add a lot to it, but you rolled a one on the damage. I was like, I don't know if you want to hear a wow, but apparently I did. So that's cool. Three. Yeah. And then I'm going to have a one on the damage. Anything else? Um, Oh, he's going to action surge and attack you. Okay, more time. And it's not going to be enough. All right. Oh, wait. He gets into the attack to his action search. Yep. And it is the exact same role. So it's going to be now. Not Mudge Day. Not Mudge Day. Uh, it's going to be Ferdinand's turn. All right. I'm going to end this, I think. I'm going to try to. I don't know if I'm going to succeed. I'm going to do this. All right. Um, what else can I do? I have fun things. I don't have access to in this. Um, we're going to go searches in as magical pockets of spells or, uh, for spells. Um, what?
Let me check this one real good. Uh, no, that's also got to. Anyway, I'm just going to fucking whack him. All right, the bomb. World one. Yeah. I think Guiding Bull is not. I don't remember how Guiding Bull works. I don't think it's effective anymore. I think it's like a round. No, it gives me advantage for a good while. All right. We're. We're. Uh, we're going to say that's a. 17 plus six. That's going to be a 23. To hit. Oh, no, it is a note. The advantage is no longer effective. Uh, right now. Yeah. All right. It's still 20. It was the first role I did. So it'll, it'll, it'll hit that. All right, sweet. Um, and then let's see the. I'm going to do, uh, with, uh, second level spell slot this time. There's going to be 40 a plus three. Jesus. That's going to be a 22. Okay. No, let's try again.
Whoo. That's an at 20. Oh, I swear to God. Okay. I'm on my own. You got, you got, you got your bad rolls out of the way early. I did this. Nice fucking rules. Uh, bottom bottom of the initiative. Top of the damage. All right. So you do double the damage, not double the dice, right? Yeah, double the damage. So you're on a full damage and then we'll just double it. Max roll. Let's go. Not quite. But it's a 20. That's going to be 40 points of damage. Total. Yeah. Uh, well, we're 16 to the total. That is enough to instantly kill. Oh, yeah. You have exceeded double his max HP normally with these important NPCs. They get to go unconscious. However, you have killed him. You got the man. He got the man.
To you now. Fucking annihilated him. Um, how do you wish to kill massive mud? I think like, um, I think the first, the first swing, um, is like a stunner. You know, I think like I hit him outside, hit him outside the chin with my, with my, uh, is it a hammer or an axe? I can't remember. It's a hammer. A little bit lower. Yeah, I hit him. I hit him outside the chin with the hammer and he sort of like stumbled back or something like that. And then like with the next one. Um, like I imagine. Okay. This is, this is ridiculous. And I'm sorry for. We're being so fucking awesome. But this is from the P.O.B. Of mud. He wakes up just in time to see. The fucking overhead. I'm flying through the air and eat just, it just goes black.
It's done. And then you see a moment of consciousness. Yeah. A moment of consciousness. And then I just, it's like divine smite. Um, holy light like executes his skull in. Okay. Uh, as you bring the hammer down on him, uh, you radiate light. I just emanates completely annihilating, uh, everything from his collarbone up. And he falls dead. Fuck yeah. As he falls dead, um, his mount, which, uh, his mount, which was, was his mount on the ground. He, he hopped off. I don't know what happened to the mount. Oh, I killed it. I killed it. You did kill that one. You did kill that one. Yeah. He abandoned. No, Vespros. Yeah, Vespros got abandoned too. Either way, all the mounts, uh, and just like slept.
Yeah. Yes, Vespros got slept. Vespros is gonna remain unconscious and, um, to your, to your knowledge. Um, and. Combat has ended. Um, as the combat ends, you can see, marigold, that, uh, while one of your beams of electricity was cut short by Lilith teleporting away, you can see that your other beam is still connected to something unseen for a moment until after a second. This previously unseen entity reveals itself to be Malcolm. Malcolm. He appears to be laying, uh, planking on the ground. Oh, that's one of the things that our vampire. He was the, he was the, it's one of the masks. Malcolm. Oh, that's right. Oh, oh, I'm sorry. Okay, I'm actually immediately dispel.
He, uh, he is laying just kind of like flat arms to his side, like planking on the ground. Uh, uh, I don't know. Um, I don't know. Um, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. You, you see that he is right in front of you because you were like running up to him to stop him from grabbing the princess. Um, as close as you are, you can hear him, uh, kind of just like wistfully breathing in pain. I don't understand. Is that mean he betrayed us or what? I think that he was just trying to get her out of, out of harm's way, maybe. I think he was already doing that though. He looks up to you and he says, I, Oh, I could save you. And then he's going to, his head is going to, his head is going to turn to its side and he goes. Oh, he's faking. Can I, um, I go over, I go over to Mayor, Mayor Gold.
I'm going to say it's, it's serious. He needs true loves kiss. Uh, I don't know that. You can see that. You can see that upon you saying that he's going to just twitch a little bit. Um, Mayor Gold thinks that's a, well, okay, I don't think Mayor Gold is that person for him, but, um, she is, she's going to. I think like, because that's a little out of control. She's going to look at you dead fucking serious. She's like, she gets really serious in the face and she nods and she runs over and she's like, okay, I don't know. Give me. Uh, Fergen and are you going to attempt to heal him? Yeah, I say, well, someone's got to do it. He is going to like, uh, very quickly like bat your hand away. Yeah. Uh, He says, If only one of them could heal me. After all, I just spit water everywhere.
Um, you also, I will say that, uh, Bordu regains, uh, regains, uh, he can move once more now that the attackers are gone. Um, and he kind of like cartoonishly is still holding out his arms thinking he's carrying the princess and he says, I have they gone. They absconded. To all the math hold on. They get their asses beat every time they, they fuck with us. And now that we're two. Yeah, I'm going to, uh, Marigold is going to cast minor illusion to make him think that one of the girls is given him a little peck on the cheek. Uh, you do this. He is, uh, the second you do this, Malcolm is going to get up. Thank you. I feel better now. Oh, my God. The mind is a really powerful thing. So, you know, I'm glad you're better. Thank you. I just, I'm glad I could help. You can see that, uh, a few feet nearby, uh, about 10 feet nearby.
Um, uh, Hazel is going to manifest as well. Uh, he is holding a scroll that is going to toss into the sand. And he says, you guys are really lucky that we're here and we're so nice. He's going to walk over to eye, and he's, and he's going to hold out his hand. I don't, she looks confused. Uh, my tip, that counter spell scroll costs 20 gold, by the way. So, uh, he's not like back in his fingers. And his fingers were not asked for. Your tip will be to let the other one know that if he continues to sneak around invisible, that he should expect more damage. He's going to, uh, retract his hand and put his hands on his hip. He's going to walk over to Malcolm. And he says, she said that if you're going to sneak around, uh, you get, and he's just going to basically repeat exactly. Oh, fuck.
Uh, he was not dead. She's, she's looking at Malcolm, which she says this, I appreciate your help. But if we don't know who is moving, we can't guarantee your safety. They're going to look at each other and nod. And Malcolm says, I understand. Thank you for not shooting me in the knees. Uh, uh, yeah. Jots down note as a weak point. I think he wants to get on his knees for you, right? That's the character. He's going to shudder. Uh, Hazel's going to look at you. Hazel's going to go over to you again. And he says, see, the thing is, we're kind of not supposed to fight. And if anybody sees us, that could get in trouble. They can take away my mask and put me in the pit. Well, luckily, anyone who did see you is either dead or incapacitated.
What about that sexy lady? She could go tell on me. All right, all right. Raises her eyebrows at sexy. I'm speaking, I'm speaking objectively. Objectively sexy. All right. I'm going to go to the board. I'm going to go to the board. Who's going to say, good deed goes unrewarded in this case. And I'm going to give him a 20 gold. He takes it. He takes it. He just like without even really looking at you just pockets it and he says, thanks, buddy. Mara Gold's going to look at you and say, can I have 20 gold? What? I'm going to look at my pockets. And I actually don't know how much money I have. If we're just giving it all that free. I gave, I gave, I gave, I gave a captain bellows like a hundred gold. Yeah, you have a lot of have that kind of you're like writing your am X right now. You guys can see.
I'm rich. Money doesn't need anything to us. You guys do have a lot of money plus the princess does have a lot of money on her person as well. We have royalty and aristocracy on our side. Okay. By the way, the princess is going to. You know, you tell a guy he's going to die in a week. You scare him shitless. You see, listen, that's 30 bucks. When you're in fantasy, you're like, I want to be able to hunt a bitch with me. It's I want to know what money. What's the thing? I, I, I didn't know that was available on the table. Mara Gold can you take it a break? You all note that Bordew has approached the princess. He is kind of kneeling down by her and he looks over and he says, my followers, compatriots, I think you must see this. What's up? What's up? That's a lot of approach. Yeah. You can see that he kind of like the princess is still kind of like just completely knocked out cold.
He's going to go into her bag and open up the the flap. And you can see that Ruax is writhing inside. Puncles are inspection. You can see that his fur is shifting between his usual gray color and something more akin to red. And that his are his claws and teeth are also going between the regular little kitten, kinfangs to something more monstrous and he's just kind of like shifting back and forth. Is it normal for cats? She did something while I was carrying them. And I heard voices in my head, causing me to take pause for a but a moment. That spell she was going to cast. I believe she is. She's trying to return him back to his original form. Nearly would have if I hadn't resisted the magic swith my my powerful counter spell yours.
Yes, yes, mine. Yes. Someone who is better at magic than myself should look into this. Investigated or decoded. Whatever needs to be done. Malcolm and Hazel are going to peak over Hazel says. Yeah, that doesn't look good. I don't have anything I can fix that. I don't think either if I still have a 10 for my religion. Would casting dispel magic on it perhaps help? Oh, well. You will other magic. Yeah, no, the dispel magic that the the curse that has been put on him is far too powerful to be dispeled by just dispel magic. That would be enough. It would have to be something greater restoration is the only thing that can probably even contend with it. But yeah, just a basic dispel magic won't break through access form.
But you cast dispel magic on him. And you can see that it has abated much of his writhing and pain. But you can still see that he is a eyes tightly shut and squirming. But his fur is returning to its normal shade and his teeth and claws are as well. I pet him. You can feel the slight vibrations of a per underneath the discomfort. Oh, poor kitty. Does anyone I can't I I don't have any peeling magic. So that's that's the way to you guys. The princess is going to regain consciousness. She's going to like slowly blink her eyes open. And she looks around and says, oh, are we all right? Are you? I think so. She like pats her her body and tries to see if she's wounded. I appear to be unhombed.
How long she was out. It was only a few turns actually guys. This is a only a couple minutes. Yeah, only a few minutes of combat. So embarrassed. She does glance over at the remains of massive mud and she says, oh, goodness. Is that one of the don't look don't look up. I've seen you've killed plenty of people before. I'm not that shocked. It's just I did not know we were attacked. Is that is that the dark counterpart of one of you? What do you remember last? It appears that the ship she like glances over towards where the airship. That's the nice thing I remember. I think. Yes, well, this would be the culprit. Justering towards the gory remains. She gets up and she more likely the fox.
She nods at all of you. Well, I expect no less from you. Good job as usual. Is Ruex? Well, he appears to be disturbed by something. I think it's because he's not. He appears that. That one did a spell. And some sort of demonic origin. Something. Not do him well. We know that the. What are the calls? The white acolytes are. They do appear to be getting more powerful. Well, I can. I can try to suit this condition as we travel. She's going to look over to the north. Disciently in the north, you can see kind of the silhouette of a city. Off on the horizon.
Across the sands. She says. That looks like our destination. That should be Shalada. I can try to figure out what's wrong with Ruex. Thank you. Thank you. I don't think I could get this far without you all. I'm quite ashamed to admit that. I feel pretty useless right now. You being here is plenty. Bordeaux also approaches her in he. You can see that he has gathered up the armor and weapon of mud. And put them on and he says. Do you have me as well? You know, child. Is he going to wear this dead person's armor? You can see that it is caked in gore and blood. And he's just putting it on. He's just strapping in. It's less like it's being being a barbarian fighter. He wasn't wearing like heavy armor. It's mainly just like a leather like shoulder pad for a fur coat. I don't care what it is.
I'm asking if he's putting it on. He completely put it on. Mud is just completely just naked remains just in the sand. Blood in the sand right now. I told you they are white acolytes. They're not real people. And plus he won't be needing this anymore. He holds out the axe and flertishes it. Aida is of the same, what would you call it, alignment. So she's not exactly. She nods sagely. I think like her name sort of nods and then it's going to go over and get this guy a burial. You do so. You do do this. What we're doing is a time sensitive. You should just burn him. He's going to be a real it's like a real quick like burying in the sand. No, no, no, no, no, no. How many grave is too long? Let's just. He's a big guy. It's in the sand. It's in the sand. It's like five seconds max. And as you are, are you kicking sand on him or something?
I will say, I will say, as you go over and do this, like you do make you kind of ignore Bordeaux's callous nature and you go over to do this. You note that as you start Bordeaux, his flippant nature seems to fade almost instantly as he stares at you while you kind of start to dig a grave. He's then going to kind of like wedge the axe into the sand and keep it aloft. And he is going to go over and assist you. Damn, all right. All right, sweet. I'm coming around in this guy. As you dig, you can hear kind of like a that he's humming a hymn that is very reminiscent of one that belongs to your previous goddess, Theo. Oh my god. As you finish, he looks to you and he says, although I did correct you, my previous goddess Leah, I believe. Sorry, Leah. The hymn of your previous god, Leah.
As you finish kind of just like digging a shallow grave and covering him, Bordeaux says, I forgot that you were her follower. I may not agree with it, but it's what she would want. I don't know. You can see that he's a nice. Sorry, sorry. There you go. I was a say, I smile at him and I just want to say like, Lord Bordeaux, I do not expect to be a perfect acolyte to follow your path. But I will always be grateful for what you have laid before me. He's going to nod and you can see that normally his expression is kind of like placid and kind of lifeless,
but he is going to give you a warm smile and a pat on the shoulder. And he says, of course, my child. Now come, my followers. Off to the city of the city, the desert city. It's all my own. It's shalladar. Shalladar. Yes, I knew that. And that is where we'll stop. Yay!
