This is Belie, one network, every topic, everywhere. Oh, dear friends, so today we are reading a story called Cranky, Crabby, Crow saves the world. And we're doing a crabby story because we did a crab story yesterday and we might as well do another one, but this is a different kind of crab. This is not the sea creature. This is an attitude. Did you know that the word crab can have more than one meaning? Yeah, so it can. And so with that in mind, let us examine this crabby crow. Shall we? Let's do. So today's story, Cranky, Crabby, Crow saves the world. Was written by Corey R. Taver and we love Corey's work. So grab your copy, my friends. Follow along as we read it.
Laugh at the pictures like we're going to and enjoy yourself immensely because that is the dumb thing. Today's story is read by Mommy and... Phillip. Phillip, you're ready to follow. Okay. Crow is waiting at his spot on the wire when a long comes squirrel. Crow says squirrel. I just spotted an overflowing garbage can when I ripple up in the bags and scatter trash all over the street with me. Gah! says Crow. Wow! Rude! Says squirrel and she's scurries along. Then, where suddenly it's hummingbird. Hey, Crow! Wanna race? Wanna do tricks? Wanna race into tricks and loops?
Check it out! Loops! Cah! Says Crow. But... Cah! Says Crow. Says hummingbird and off he zips. Hummingbird was super cute. Then, it's rat. Who just kind of gets close to Crow. Who says, Gah! And bat. Bat's just given a simple wave. Gah! And cat. I see you chasing everyone away. Cranky, creppy Crow. Says cat. If you're not careful, you might find yourself all alone. Just a lonely Crow. Shouting at the world.
Gah! Says Crow. Cat shakes her head and leaps into the firefighters waiting arms. Oh, she'd gotten all the way to the phone pole and couldn't get back down. Oh boy. Crow waits at his spot on the wire. Alone. When suddenly. Wimbing! Wimbing! Wimbing! It's a phone. On the telephone pole. What does the Crow do? He walks over. Gah! Have you cleared the area? Gah! Good. It's time. And we don't have a moment to spare. Gah! Watch your tone, agent. The world is counting on you. What? Crow hops into action. There is a hidden door.
In the telephone pole. I guess Crow is super here. And Crow flips open that secret door, jumps inside the telephone pole. Which is now actually in fact an elevator. Possibly an express mind. Which takes him down into a place where there is, oh my goodness, friends. There is all kinds of super spy stuff here. A room with a supercomputer. A little den where he can sit and have a book to read. And a massive rocket ship. And the bat will be, I don't know what kind of fancy superhero guard. I don't know what you're talking about. And also a space suit. Underground. Under the telephone pole. What? He puts on his space suit, gets into his rocket ship and shoots off into space.
A giant asteroid, creens towards earth. Gah! Says Crow. Crow pushes the button for missiles. And Crow pushes the button for lasers. And Crow watches the asteroid breaking to tiny meteors that will burn up in Earth's atmosphere. Gah! Says Crow. Did you see that coming? Back home, Crow is waiting at his spot on the wire. When along comes Squirrel. Crow! Says Squirrel. I got your invitation. Crow scoots over. To make some room. Then, where? Suddenly it's hummingbird. And Crow scoots some more. And then it's rat. Scoot. And bat. Scoot and cat. Welp.
Says Cat. I guess you can't judge a crow by his. Gah! Gah! Says Crow. And they all wait. Together. When suddenly. Oh. So we turn the page and find out. I'm very excited to see what's going to happen. Boom! Wow. Says squirrel. Shooting stars. Says hummingbird. Brrrr thicknesses cact. And Crow. Crow says nothing. But what's that? It is crow smiling. Now. Couldn't be. But here's the thing in this picture, all those little meteors that he broke into small chunks are now coming, shooting down like a meteor shower. And it's all because he saved the day in his own unique special way, right?
Never thought coming. I would never have guessed that he would be the superhero, but he was. Cool. It just goes to show you how unique these creatures are. And the fun thing about it is guys, there is a top secret code here at the end of this book. And if you look at the top secret code, you will see that it translates itself all over the place in this book. And that's fun to look at, isn't it? What does it mean? What does it mean? What does it mean? What does it mean? I'm going to give you a hint. And that, our dear friends, is... And we'll begin journey from the last side tomorrow. What are you doing? If you liked the show, please take a moment to rate, review, and subscribe. It really does help the show to grow. Thank you for listening.
