Cowboys Draft: Trades Likely as Jones Confirms Deal Talks

0:00On April 22nd, the Dallas Cowboys are locked and loaded for the NFL draft kicking off Thursday night and their wide open to making trades. Jerry Jones straight up confirmed at yesterday's press conference that other teams have already hit them up to talk deal parameters from swapping. Picks to bringing in players. The front-office crew, including Jerry, Stephen Jones and Wilma Clay, joined head coach Brian Shottenheimer to field questions and trades. Dominated the chat right from jump. National media has been buzzing about Dallas wheeling and dealing and the team sounds prime for action. Fans and analysts are hyped because the Cowboys hold solid spots at the number 12 and number 20 picks in the first two rounds. That positioning gives them leverage to move up for a star or slide back for more ammo depending on how the board falls. They're stressing how prepared they are, way more than if they just had one selection, with every scenario on the table. No stone unturned is the eye building around their roster needs. Draft action starts at 8 p.m. Eastern Thursday for round one, rolls into rounds two and three Friday night, then wraps rounds four through seven.

1:08Saturday morning, keep your eyes peeled for those cowboy moves shaking things up.
