Thanks for joining us today in the Stone Zone. You know, Texas Senator Ted Cruz doesn't like me much.

I think it's because I correctly pointed out when he was running for president 2016 that his father, Raphael Angel Cruz, was part of Lee Harvey Oswald's crew in New Orleans in 1963. This is proven by the way by Judith Vary Baker, who was indisputably was the mistress of Lee Harvey Oswald. They're also proven by photographs. They're actually in the Warren Commission report. Now, saying that Angel Cruz, Raphael Cruz, Ted Cruz's father, who by the way is a preacher, was part of Lee Harvey Oswald's crew. Does not mean that he was involved in the assassination of president John F. Kennedy because as I have written in my New York Times bestselling book, the man who killed Kennedy, the case against LBJ, I don't believe Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy. I believe he was precisely what he said. He was a patty. He was a guy set up to take the fall.

There's overwhelming evidence that Oswald is not the shooter from a sixth floor of the Texas Schoolbook depository building. But now, during his testimony, the testimony of former special counsel Jack Smith, before the Senate late last week, Ted Cruz launched into an untrue and baseless attack on my mentor and one of my personal heroes, president Richard Nixon. Cruz said, speaking to Smith, well, let me say congratulations because you have succeeded where Richard Nixon failed, which is weaponizing the Department of Justice and the federal government to go after your political opponents. Congratulations, you are stepping into the shoes of John Mitchell. John Mitchell was Richard Nixon's law partner, his campaign manager and his later, his attorney general, he did go through jail in the Watergate scandal. He went to his grave insisting that he never approved the Watergate break in and there is no evidence that he approved the Watergate break in.

In fact, his associate, longtime associate, Fred LaRue, who was charged with Mitchell and also did time insisted that Mitchell had and had been to crucial meetings with John Dean, the Watergate Weasel, that John Mitchell had never approved the Watergate break in. If you think about it, Nixon was leading in 49 states and had George the biggest landslide in American history. So what would have been the purpose of the Watergate break in? Cruz went on to compare Jack Smith, the special counsel to Nixon's attorney general, Mitchell, and then he said that Smith's abuses were far worse than John Mitchell's accusing him of being conscripted as a foot soldier of the Democratic National Committee and called Smith Smith to be a lawyer. He called Smith's conduct the most egregious abuse of power in the history of the Department of Justice. He's right about Jack Smith, but he's completely and totally wrong about John Mitchell and for that matter, Richard Nixon.

The Watergate special prosecution force proved that much of the evidence that was used to come after John Mitchell, Nixon's attorney general, turned out to be entirely fabricated. In a February 6, 1974 memorandum, the Watergate special prosecutor, Peter Rient, identified 20 individual instances where the so-called whistleblower, John Dean, was pointing the fingers at Mitchell and Nixon's testimony. Before the Senate, completely diverged from his questioning by the FBI and by the federal prosecutors. They didn't match. It was also pointed out that his testimony before the Senate completely contradicted his book Blind Ambition. When John Dean was confronted about this discrepancies, he said that he didn't write the book. Blind Ambition and he blamed his editor and publisher for the discrepancies.

George Frampton, who was another one of the Watergate special prosecutors, actually concluded that one key meeting that John Dean had described that was deeply damaging to Nixon's attorney general, John Mitchell, apparently never took place at all. We could probably do well simply to admit Dean's testimony about this, he says, in the memo. Frampton wrote that California attorney Herbert Combach, who wrote that California attorney, who was chief fund raiser of the so-called Hush Money, that was delivered to the Watergate Burgles and their attorneys, Dean has always maintained that Mitchell authorized the enlistment of Combach, but the Watergate special prosecutors concluded that Mitchell's logs and schedules suggest that Dean exercised somewhat more discretion himself before jade, and it was Dean who recruited Combach to go get Hush Money for the Watergate Burglers, not John Mitchell. So John Mitchell has been wronged, Ted Cruz obviously has no idea what really happened at Watergate, but Vice President J.D. Vance nailed it when he was speaking at the Nixon Library only weeks ago, and he said Richard Nixon was taken down by the same deep state forces that tried to take down President Donald Trump.

Again, there was never any evidence that Richard Nixon himself approved the Watergate break-in and to this day we can only speculate about what the purposes of the Watergate break-in were given Nixon's strong political positioning going into the 1972 elections. But let's take a look at Ted Cruz for a moment. Cruz told voters that he and his wife liquidated their savings to fund his 2012 Senate grace in Texas, when in reality more than $1 million came from a Goldman Sachs margin loan, his wife Heidi worked at Goldman Sachs in a city bank line of credit. He reported that he's money to the Federal Election Commission as personal funds and did not disclose that they were loans or the banks that they came from as required by law. The Federal Election Commission later found the reporting inaccurate and in 2019 his campaign paid $35,000 fine and signed a conciliation agreement.

Cruz called it an inadvertent filing error. The loans themselves were listed on his separate Senate personal financial sources, not just correctly on his FEC campaign forms. Now, IHART Media produces and syndicates Cruz's podcast between 20 and 23. IHART paid him 630,000 or between 630,000 and 961,000 digital revenue which flowed to Cruz's Truth and Courage Pack, a super PAC whose purpose is getting Cruz reelected, I guess his US Senate salary is not enough. Watch Dogs argue that this was an illegal corporate contribution or an undisclosed gift under the Federal Election Law. Cruz has also received a luxurious gift from donors getting a $76,000 private jet round trip to Turks and K-Cos from Charmin, Mosivar Ramani, a Goldman Sachs executive.

Cruz also received charter flights, astrotickets, concert tickets and longhorn tickets from Texas, oil and real estate donors. So here's my simple question. Why do people take an almost instantaneous dislike to Ted Cruz when they meet him? It's simple. They're merely saving time. Thanks for joining us in the Stone Zone and I'm your host, Roger Stone. While speaking to reporters at the Capitol yesterday, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, his eyes bulge. You ever notice how these really crazy liberals, the way they're eyes bulged? I'm thinking Adam Schiff, AOC, Cory Booker, and a shaking tone in his voice. Pew, Rabin, False and Dangerous Conspiracy theories about the D.J. about the 2026 midterm elections. As I will point out later in the show, polling currently shows Democrats or Republicans are increasingly locked into, can only be described as a dead heat heading into November.

Republicans are actually gaining a contrary to what some in the mainstream media may be telling you. But despite with history being on the side, the presidents with a supermajority almost always face tense opposition in the following midterm elections as Republicans did in 2018, the Democrats are actually slipping a bit. That's why they're now moving to claim in advance that the 2026 midterm elections are, quote, going to be stolen from them. Projection, anyone? Does Cory Booker seriously think the American people have forgotten about what I believe was the stolen election of 2020, the fact that Pennsylvania and Michigan and Arizona all stopped counting ballots at three o'clock in the morning, and that miraculously 300,000 roughly paper ballots, which were supposedly mailed in. Many of them never folded, popped up out of nowhere to be counting.

Yeah, I find that disturbing and questionable. Cory Booker really think the American people have forgotten the walled off capital building or the claim that the broken pipe required that the counting center and Detroit Michigan be shut down while the windows were papered over and Republican observers were removed by the Detroit police while Democrats continued to jam paper ballots. Through the tabulators does he really think that we've forgotten all about that or does he think we've forgotten the fact that no one showed up at Joe Biden's inauguration, the city was virtually empty. In dick over the fact that I still don't believe that 81 million people voted for a man who barely left his basement to campaign booker said reporters yesterday, and I quote, I think a criminal who undermines one election is very important. The election is very likely to undermine another one senator Booker has some evidence that Donald Trump undermined the last election.

I say he should produce it other than that. This is dangerous overheated rhetoric, but I do know the power of the people is greater and the people are in power. Don't fall for the cynicism that he wants you to have about this election. This is not a time to throw up your arms. It's a time to roll up our sleeves and fight his rise in costs. Fights is is legal war. Fight is taking away our health care. Fight as people recklessly running through our communities and shooting American citizens. The selection is not right or left. It's right or wrong. A lot of good rhetoric there, but maybe we should talk about how many jobs President Trump has created. Maybe we should talk about the fact that America is energy independent again. We don't have to go on bend to knee for oil and gas to the Middle East. Maybe we should talk about the fact that individual personal income has risen dramatically under President Donald Trump. Democrats quite literally spent months protesting and refusing to pass the President's Save America Act in the Senate.

A law that would have ensured secure election parameters in 2026 and going forward. All we're asking for is that people be required to be US citizens and they show a photo ID. As for the other allegations, Booker May, don't mention of President Trump's illegal wars where Barack Obama bombed and killed hundreds of civilians far more than Donald Trump during his presidency. Booker has loaded Obama as a hero, not a villain. Why were the bombings of civilians under Obama brushed under the rug while the bombings of the Iranian regime, the brutal Iranian regime under President Trump is considered immoral or illegal? So in other words, when Barack Obama wages war without an act of Congress, that's okay, but when Donald Trump does it, that war is illegal. Cory Booker is a piece of work. He hit the President again on health care, saying President Trump and Vice President J. D. V. V. had to work to remove over 750 fraudsters from Medicare and Medicaid roles.

Not one single person that needs a Medicare and was receiving honestly as lost their health care under President Donald Trump. That is a true statement. Perhaps Cory Booker is unaware of what's happened in Minnesota. As for the accusation that people are running through neighborhood shootings and civilians, you see, you can't get any further than reality. Booker is disconnected from any semblance to the real world. That's because he lives a very verified life in Greenwich Village, New York, as well as a swinkey apartment in Washington, D.C. Cory Booker has an interesting record as the mayor of Newark. We're going to visit that when we come back. But if Cory Booker is running for President, by the way, I think he is. I'm going to to republish my book, Spartacus, the real Cory Booker story. I published it in, I guess it was 2016. Didn't do very well because Cory Booker is getting to see bomb, did my book bomb right along with it.

I'm Roger Stone, to listen to Stone Zone, whatever you do, don't go away. But Stone Zone, entertaining and informative. On the Red Apple Podcast Network. This is the Stone Zone, with Roger Stone. Roger Stone is the very very one of the smartest political minds. Roger Stone was persecuted. People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst. Now, give him his own. It's the Stone Zone. Here's Roger Stone. New Jersey Senator Cory Booker launched quite an attack on Donald Trump yesterday. But what he didn't tell you is he himself has a criminal past. As the mayor of Newark, New Jersey, Cory Booker embezzled $600,000 from the city's watershed water authority, laundering the money through his law firm.

When he got caught, Booker claimed he knew nothing about the transfer. But the authority minutes show that as an ex-official member of the authority board, he had voted to pay the firms his funds. The Newark watershed conservation and development corporation scandal involved widespread corruption at the nonprofit managing what Newark's watershed during Cory Booker's reign is mayor from 2006 to 2013. The executive director Linda Watkins-Brashier pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 8.5 years in prison for approving the payment to Cory Booker's law firm. And also for taking nearly $1 million and bribes and kickbacks from contractors via other no bid deals and inflated payments. Others, including contractors and former Newark police officer, were also convicted in the scheme, which involved embezzlement and bogus contracts. Booker's former campaign treasurer and law partner El Nardo Webster helped recommend the board members.

The board then retained Booker's law firm for over $1 million legal fees. The New York State Controller's report criticized the reckless spending and the minimal oversight. Booker, one confronted, couldn't keep his story straight. At first he said the payment to his firm was deferred compensation. Then he said it was a partners buyout. Then he said it was for legal work that he had done for the authority, which of course would have been a conflict of interest since he was a member of the authority board by law. He attended zero meetings according to him, but the records of the one particular meeting in which the payment to his law firm was approved, show him present and voting yes. Goes without saying if Cory Booker were a Republican, he would have gone to jail with the staffers who were convicted for processing the permits to Cory Booker's firm. I'm Roger Stone, d'Lesson to the Stone Zone. You can't get the inside skinny on these kind of scandals. Anyplace else on the radio today?

Whatever you do, don't go away because the Republicans are catching up with the Democrats in the upcoming election. You're going to want to hear about it right here in the Stone Zone. The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network. This is the Stone Zone. Now give his own. It's the Stone Zone. A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him. Not everybody, but people love him and respect him. Roger Stone, wins, Roger Stone. Here's Roger Stone. Welcome back into the Zone. If you're a junkie and you love politics while you're in the right place, the monthly Harvard Harris Polo voters across the United States now shows Democrats and Republican support at New York City.

Republican support at near identical levels just a month from November's midterm election. The Harvard Harris Polo is certainly not a right leaning operation. It is widely respected as a credible measure of public opinion when all registered voters in the Polo were asked the parties to split 50-50 when asked if they would more likely vote for a Democrat or a Republican candidate for Congress. Democrats take a slight 51-49% lead among likely voters. That's within the Poles 3-point margin of error. 50% of voters say their minds are already made up about who vote for and 2-3rd say they expect to vote a straight-party ticket. By the way, only having 50% of voters saying their minds are already made up means that the balance of the voters have not made up their minds is extraordinarily low at this point. If you 9% of those supporting Democrats say they've definitely made up their minds, well 58% of Republicans say the exact same thing. Again, that's the same number.

Just 33% of independent leading voters say their minds are made up with 26% saying they're not, they are leaning in one direction and 24% saying they just simply have not decided. That is, I can tell you, after 50 years' experience in the political arena, that is an enormous flexibility and volatility in the electorate. Another question asked to voters how important voting in the midterm election is and again showed similar levels with 63% of Democrats say it was extremely important and therefore more likely to vote. Well 62% of Republicans said the same thing. Again, almost identical numbers. On issues, it's no surprise that economic concerns rank as the issue most voters care about. 45% say inflation affordability is the most important issue to them personally, followed by restoring basic American values of merit and competence. I'm not sure what that means.

And crime. When broadened out to issues facing the country, economic concerns also rank followed by healthcare and of course illegal immigration. So President Trump and Republicans have narrowly scored a higher in this poll on who voters trust more to handle the economy. 51% of voters say they trusted the president more, including 15% of the Democrats. Independence said they prefer Democrats when it comes to the economy by 54, 46% margin, which is a marked improvement from last month's poll. Voters align with Republican policies on taxes and spending as well when asked if voters prefer decreasing increasing or keeping taxes the same 58% decrease in taxes compared to 15% who said increasing taxes and 27% said taxes should be kept where they are. You got to wonder who the 15% of what I increased taxes are, who are those people on government spending 64% favor decreasing government spending no surprise there 16% said they favored increasing government spending.

Once again, I wonder who those people are and 19% said that federal spending should be kept exactly where it is today. 56% of voters want to see interest rate cuts with 18% favoring increasing rates. Again, you got to wonder who those people are and 26% say keeping them at the same levels. I think this is a very key number. The Federal Reserve met only recently and did not issue a deep cut in federal interest rates. I think based on the current unemployment rate and the relatively low inflation rate that a deeper cut in interest rates is merited. But then I'm not an economist and really interested in those questions. I think you should probably ask Larry Cudlow. This news comes interesting in the poll. President Trump's plan issued $5,000 every American adult if Republicans maintain both houses. If he 7% said they approved of that, while 69% said the voters say that the proposed measures primarily tended to encourage voters to support Republicans.

How about that, Sherlock? This news comes as panicans and Democrats continue to assure us that the midterms have already been decided. Well, I'm eventually to 50 years in the American political arena. I'm a veteran of 13 national presidential campaigns starting with Richard Nixon all the way to Donald Trump. No, I infatically deny that I was the head of youth Lincoln. But I can tell you this election is far from over. The American electorate is extraordinarily violent. And the president has and his party have superior campaign resources. They're going to end up putting it about a billion dollars between presidents make America great ink pack and the Republican National Committee, the Republican National Central Committee, and the Republican Congressional Committee. In contrast, the Democratic Party had about $16 million cash on hand still has an $18 million debt from the disastrous kind of see of Kamala Harris.

Now, that's not the great advantage that some people may think. I kind of argue that that kind of money substitutes for the fact that the Democrats have ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNOW. They had to change the name because as MSNBC nobody believed them. And therefore Republicans have to buy their electronic messaging, where it's provided for free as a corporate contribution from the major networks. Yet I do think that the Republicans overall have more resources and that is going to count on close races. Trump and his Slate of America first Republicans represented a completely different voter base than any other Republican ticket. In other words, Republicans have always done extremely well when Trump himself is on the ballot. They've struggled when he is not on the ballot. So this is I think the reason the president Trump is hitting the trail. He is vowed to hit 32 states.

I believe he's in Oklahoma tonight. I know he's headed to Alabama very clever, by the way, by going to Oklahoma by going to Durant, Oklahoma is rally there, spills off into the Dallas media market where Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is coming up quickly in a race against a Talarico, the radical leftist Democrat. And also smart in the sense that some say, well, why is Trump going to solidly read Alabama, but he's rallying in Alabama. We'll be seeing in the Northern Florida panhandle where Byron Donnell is a Republican candidate for governor slightly underperformed in the Republican primary, although he did win it and could use a boost. So there is some wise strategy going on by the Republicans for working class Americans when the choices between safety, security, a record high stock market, combating global communism opposing the use of our tax dollars for transgender surgery on children, open borders, high crime corruption.

I believe the American people will make the right choice. Meanwhile, the United States military has withdrawn from Iraq after 12 years. President Donald Trump criticized in the very bad decision making that got us involved in that quagmire in the first place. Most Americans will not remember that President George W. Bush, prodded on by Vice President Dick Cheney, fooled us into believing that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction that they didn't. They destroyed the career of National Security Advisor Colin Powell forcing him to tell the United Nations that the Iraqis had yellow cake uranium with which to make nuclear bombs. They didn't. Tens of thousands of Americans died hundreds of thousands of Iraqis died needlessly. Now finally are withdrawal marks the formal closure of another chapter of US occupation of Middle Eastern country after troops previously left there in 2011 after the Iraq war before returning to fight ISIS in 2014.

Press release from the US Central Command sent common else that the orderly departure of US forces and equipment from herbal air force space in northern Iraq was completed on Wednesday marking the end of the operation inherent resolve mission against the Islamic state. The move out of Iraq which began last October is part of a planned transition to a US Iraq bilateral defense relationship. The thousands agreement reached between the two countries in 24 under sleepy Joe Biden. The operation inherent resolve combined joint task force has been moved Jordan and will remain operational as American forces continue to counter ISIS in Syria alongside our other coalition partners as well as the Syrian. President Trump celebrated with strong on troop social including praise for Iraq's new prime minister Ali al-Sahidi and call out of the previous administrations that saw the continuation of the US presence in Iraq.

President said today I'm pleased to announce that the last American forces are leaving Iraq. It has been a long time with very bad decision making that got us involved in this quagmire in the first place but soon that will be a part of history. This is a great day for America and importantly we leave Iraq with a strong new prime minister Ali al-Sahidi someone I supported from the beginning and fully endorsed. He won a fair and free election that he was not expected to win and he did so in a landslide. President noted that the efforts of the United States launched in 2003 under the presidency of George W. Bush and continued under the administration of Barack Hussein Obama in 2014 as well as sleepy Joe Biden operation inherent resolve ends in 26 under the leadership of President Donald Trump. But we don't know of course is how much Halliburton the massive defense contractor that Dick Cheney left to become vice president and returned to after he was vice president.

But don't worry folks he had his Halliburton stock in a blind trust. How blind could the trust be if he knew it was in there. It is estimated that Dick Cheney made tens of millions of dollars on the war in Iraq by lying to the American people. Unlike Afghanistan where much military equipment everything else was left behind and 13 brave Americans lie dead with many badly wounded. The orderly departure of coalition forces and equipment today from the herbal air force base marks the end of a very expensive incursion into hell. The president said I said a clear mission gave our commanders the tools to finish it and our crews to let a temporary president become a permanent president. I had a choice to stay or leave and I felt without question it was time for Americans to come home Prime Minister out say 80 is outstanding and we'll hopefully be able to handle things very well.

We came to fight a caliphate there is no longer a caliphate to fight we we are going home thank the lord says president Donald J Trump sent calm commander Ademoo Brad Cooper added in a statement job well done to the tens of thousands. Of American service members diplomats and civilian personnel who answered the call in Iraq because you're a great sacrifice and professionalism I systematical threat to Iraq's national security and Iraqi security forces including the Iraqi Kurdish and regional security forces now have the capacity leadership and operational independence to your laboratory manage threats to the people. I'm Roger Stone celebrate our delivered our withdrawal from Iraq with me right here in the stone zone don't go away because we'll be right back.

And on the red apple podcast network. Now I'm going to go back to the stone zone here's Roger Stone. Welcome back into the stone zone president Donald Trump's White House began sending $500 refund checks on Wednesday that will go to nearly one million Americans who the administration says were overcharged for Obamacare insurance by the Biden administration. The treasury checks are being mailed to more than 950,000 Americans living in at least 30 states who used healthcare dot gov a federal marketplace where people signed up for Obamacare health insurance administration official told the hell for years the Biden administration overcharge you to fund the operation of healthcare dot gov president wrote and a president letter being sent with the checks and obtained by the outlet the hell outlet that money belongs to hardworking.

Americans not the government and now I'm returning it to you the White House says the Biden administration specifically overcharged user fees that ultimately resulted in higher premium paid through the insurance website as reported by the Daily Mail Trump administration says the fees were not used to benefit people who paid for the higher premiums and amounted to an excess of $500 million in user fees according to the review. According to the report the fees are typically been used to cover services like technology support call center operations and outreach efforts to enroll more Americans and health insurance plans however Trump administration has slashed funding for these outreach efforts according to the hell the checks are being sent only a few weeks ahead of the midterm elections were affordability and healthcare costs are emerging according to that our word. Harris poll we spoke about earlier as a major issue you paid into this flaw system and now you're finally getting something back president Trump wrote in a letter to accompany the checks.

The $500 payments are different than the $5,000 checks that president Trump pitched as the trump dividend and a reward for people for putting up with Biden's poor economic policies individuals who are eligible for the $500 payment have already been identified by the government so there is no application process vice president JD Vance announced last week that $2.2 billion so far has been recovered in Obamacare fraud let me say that again $2.2 billion has been recovered in Obamacare fraud vice president Vance so I saw just last week said that the Biden administration relaxed eligibility for the Obamacare program but failed to verify employees eligibility while simultaneously incentivizing brokers to enroll people in the program vice president said you have a system where on the one hand brokers

who paid money to feed patients into the system while on the other hand the government isn't even checking on whether people enrolled are actually eligible for the program what do you have of course rampant rampant for the program rampant rampant fraud said the vice president then said the Trump administration is taking multiple actions to combat Medicare fraud under the Obamacare plan including ending enrollment for 75,000 people believed to have been fraudulently enrolled the second thing we're going to do according to the vice president is we're going to do some additional verification we expect that most of these people are fraudulently enrolled we're not going to do some additional verification on about 419,000 people we're not sure about we're going to make sure that first of all there are legal residents of the United States and second of all we're going to make sure that they actually meet the income threshold requirements in order to receive these Obamacare benefits

now to put this into context the amount of money will stop from going to fraudsters today $2.1 billion the average child receives about $4,000 in health care benefits every single year according to the vice president that means receiving 550,000 American children's worth of health care that's going to fraudsters and content that will now go to essential services which is where it was meant to go in the beginning many while in a breaking story my good friend Senator Bill Haggard of Tennessee has filed a bar complaint against former special counsel Jack Smith who brought two federal indictments against president Donald Trump calling him a partisan actor and declaring that his prosecutor was conduct damaged our constitutional order I read earlier today that Senator Marsha Blackburn of Georgia of Tennessee pardon me is also suing of Georgia is also suing Jack Smith

Smith turns out to have run the greatest single abuse of power the greatest single dirty trick since the Russian collusion hoax I'll be a lot more about Jack Smith in the coming days question it occurs to me is a simple one well he himself be prosecuted will 29 FBI agents show up at his home at six o'clock in the morning perhaps with a fox camera in tow to film his arrest that is my question thank you for joining me in the stone zone until tomorrow God bless you and Godspeed
