Companies shouldn't have to choose between speed and control. Amix corporate connects cards with flexible spending controls and real-time visibility to help teams adapt faster. Built to simplify, designed to scale. This is Amix corporate. Get started at go.amix slash Amix corporate. Terms apply. Next thing I want to get into is what happened with AI spies that are getting into open AI and unthropping. And this goes with the conversation I had last week, the Jacob Cox and the unthropping whistleblower that came out and said, hey, you know, Tesla cannot have any Chinese nationals work there, but anthropic in open AI can. And I started thinking, what do you mean by that? This interview drops tomorrow. So watch what happens a couple of those a couple of days later in a story. Couple of days later, open AI fires, three safety researchers accused of sharing confidential company information. What? Three researchers have been fired from open AI after allegedly sharing confidential company information with a third party AI safety organization sources told, Wall Street Journal, the three worked on the company safety team. We have parted ways with three individuals
for violating our policies on accessing and handling sensitive company information and open AI spokesperson said our investigation confirmed that these individuals mishandled sensitive information outside established company procedures violating our policies and breaking the trust essential to our work. The firing came as open AI and other major AI companies have disclosed incidents involved AI models engaging in unexpected behavior or autonomously accessing other company systems open AI has outlined three six instances of what it's called misaligned behavior, including models creating sub-generated instructions, concealing mistakes in task summaries, fabricating information using exposed AI keys and engaging in unsanction communication between agents open AI safety leaders also decided not to release its new AI model GPT 6.1 Astra due to safety concerns for anything regarding safety and alignment. There's a tradeoff open AI's head of safety system said the model didn't quite meet the bar.
So Tom, when this how much more of these types of stories do you think we're going to be here and moving forward? We're going to hear a lot of them and I'll tell you why we're going to hear a lot of them because in related news, just two days before that, they say andthropic says, hey, we're looking at an IPO the week of November 9th, as early as the week of November 9th, as long as we can get coverage at $2 trillion in valuation. So why are they saying both of these things at the same time? And remember, they put the S1 was a confidential S1 that they put to SEC.gov. So we can't go look at it the way we could go to SEC.gov and we could read the S1s for companies that are going public. We can't. Well, anthropic says, no, no, no, no. We think we could go out as early as November 9th, $2 trillion in valuation. Well, if that's what they're trying to do, then they have to clear the deck path of all this PR. And so what better way to clear the deck of the PR? I know we came out and said we were worried about this.
I know we were talking about, you know, hugging face. I know we were talking about this. We fired three of the bastards. Ha, we're taking action. I think it's that. I think they're trying to, I'm being a little dramatic. But I think what they're really trying to say is, hey, we take safety seriously. So this is a way of saying we're responsible. It's not like anything crazy happened. It's for investors to say, oh, wow, look how responsible open AI is. Correct. And the pullback, any congressional, here's a bad word. Got it. Hearings that might be going on when you're trying to go to Wall Street because you can't do both. People say, wait, wait, wait, wait. We're not going public if you're in the middle of congressional hearings. I'll go in for 60 days on AI safety. You know, sorry, dude, you're not going to do that. No one will live. The SEC will come out and say, stop. We're investigating all these safety things. You're not going out. Remember the SEC has to allow it. So I think it's, I think it's both. I think they're trying to look responsible as you say. Adam, where are you out with this one? Look, I haven't followed this exact story. But this isn't like this one person. They fired three people. They fired. What's the basis of the story?
Were they working together? These three of these people, Tom? Were they independent? Trying to go deeper on this story, but then I have an overall. Well, let me do this while you're giving up. I don't think we were given that. So I don't. Let me go into this. So what I'm concerned about is the following. I want to know how often this has happened with Chinese nationals. Because you have to like. Were these all Chinese? What is it? What does it mean? No, not necessarily. What does it mean when people are sharing sensitive information? What does that mean? It's espion. What does that mean? It's espion. It's espionage. Okay. So and who are you sharing it with? We didn't really know who they're sharing it with. Like where did it go? When I go and I think about things that concern me. Here's what I think about. There's a few different people. So think about. Google. A person named Lin Wei, Leon Ding, at Google, a PRC national in Google AI engineers. Prosecutors said he stole more than 2,000 pages of confidential AI material. In involving Google's TPU GPU, super computing infrastructure, while secretly affiliated
with two China based AI companies. So in January, 2026, he was convicted on seven counts of economic espionage and seven counts of trade secret theft for the benefit of the PRC. Can you look up this name, please? Lin Wei Ding, Google. L-I-N-W-E-I, then D-I-N-G-G-G-G-G-O. Yeah, this one right here. This just happened just so you know, this just happened a few months ago. You got another one with Apple. Yeah. Jialong, Zhang. Obviously, you don't have to ask if these guys are from Afghanistan or US or Brazil. Very obvious. Former Apple self-driving car engineer, he was accused of downloading autonomous driving trade secrets before planning to work for Chinese EV company, JAPANG. And arrested while trying to board a flight to China, he later pleaded guilty to trade secret theft. So this is, by the way, just so you know, and this is recent, then I'll give you another one. Wei Bao Wang, what do you think he's from?
I'll let you guess. I'm going to keep going. Oh, I'll keep going. And Mutant. Yeah. And Mutant. Okay. Sous-sensual. Former Apple autonomous system engineer, prosecutors alleged he took Apple source code and technical material after accepting the job. You're going to see where I'm going with this, where my concern is. I'm starting to like. I'm starting to like. JAPANG with the US subsidiary of a PRC headquartered autonomous driving company. Okay. By the way, you know who got involved in this? The FBI got involved in this. You're okay. This remains an allegation not a conviction with this one. How jang? What do you think that guy is from? Skyworks, a PRC citizen who worked at Skyworks, prosecutors proved he and collaborators store, stole wireless semiconductor trade secrets and used them to build a competing operation tied to Tian University and the pro-JDescript and instrumental as an instrumental of Chinese government. He was convicted of economic espionage and trade secret that I'll give you one other one here. Wei Peng, Avago Technologies, another PRC, by the way, there's two Wei Peng apparently. Wei Peng.
Two Wei Pengs. DOJ alleged that he and JANG took FBI, air semiconductor technology and shared it with conspirators. Again, a China-based venture. He was charging the same economic espionage. Okay. You know, some of the people on MAGA or Republicans that are not happy with Trump and what area? The one area where he's like, yeah, we want to have 600,000 Chinese students coming to our universities. And China would love for that to happen. Why would they love to happen? You think they're just coming here to learn our stuff and take you back to China or do you think those people that are coming here are true believers of China? They want to come and get the intel, see what we're doing, move into our companies. You have to be very, very careful with how China runs. The US model is you have two terms when you become president. You come in, if you're doing a good job, you get reelected. If not, sometimes you win, second time the other side cheats, then you come back in. Sometimes these types of things happen, right? But if you think for a second, China's not thinking long term of coming in and stealing
what we have and sending it back to them, their loyalty is not to US. Their loyalty is back to China. They're not in America because they love America and they love the company they're working for. They're here to share the intel back with them. So my concern is, do you make a law in America that Chinese nationals cannot work for these AI companies? Is it law that does it or is it the company itself that has to do this? But you can't wait for the company because the company is going to want to engineer. So the company. So part of this goes into, do you talk H1B visa? Do you go into a lot of Indians are coming here and JD Vance just kind of talked about this recently? I don't know if you saw that over the weekend. These are true real concerns that people are thinking about. You know, one of the things you taught me, you said, listen, here's how I do business. You said, I hire slow, but I fire fast. So to me, I mean, would you break that down? There's a very strict vetting process if you're going to let somebody into your world. Why don't American companies operate like that, especially in the light of this
China, China situation or whoever these safety researchers are? How many, you just read how many Chinese names that did this? I mean, I feel like the vetting process needs to be completely profound in this situation. How would you go about this as a publicly traded company, let's say? Or even driving? So remember, not everything is a deal. Not everything is about making deals. The president is a deal maker, right? There are some things that there are no deals. It's not on the table. Even you give me like today, this morning, I'm talking to one of our guys, Dan, 18 Delta, and we're driving, we're having a conversation about what happened in France. I said, let me ask you a question. If you had a choice between being a billionaire or having been in Delta Force for 10 years, which one do you choose? He says, it's not even close. I said, what do you mean? He says, oh, it's not even close. I would, I would choose Delta. Really? Oh, he says, so you see, that's core values to this human being. I respect that. Because money can't buy the dream that he had in place.
There are certain things in America that should not be for sale to anybody. And this is one of those things that shouldn't be for sale. For no matter how much money you want to give me, something shouldn't be for sale. It's like how many social media platforms that are American owned are based in China. None. None. But how many are here? Exactly. So, you know, it's kind of like the rules of the road. There's a binary situation going on here. How many American workers are working in China right now? Very few, prop. Very, very few. And if you don't think that they have some guy named Rick just working it Huawei, I don't see what Tom's going to say about this. Tom, what would you say about this? So, take a look at this graphic. I don't know if the audience can see this. This is the self-reforcing visa wheel. Now, why does it happen? A H1B visa holder, your spouse is allowed to get an H4. If your spouse has an H4, then they could form an LLC. And they form staffing firms. The staffing firms reach out and help other people get H1Bs. Why is this happening? Because we've created a market for it. Why do we create a market for it?
Because is California liberal or conservative? Huh, liberal. The people that are running technology companies. So, they largely liberal or conservative. Liberal. Liberal. They're in favor of bringing foreign workers over. And by the way, at the end of it, they may be liberal, but they sure as hell are capitalist. Because they want lower cost engineers. And they bring over tons of lower cost engineers through this. This process. I'm not okay with that. This should be... This is Exit Pat. This is the problem. But this is mostly from India, though, correct? India. More H1B, I think of India as a lot of it. But you are also seeing it from mainland China, and you're seeing it with spies. And China is even more sophisticated. They don't want to go through the more visible H1B. They talk our president into what? Allowing the students to come over to the college. This is... Both have to stop. America cannot be first time. Why would both have to stop Pat? 600,000 students coming from college. College angle with the methodology with that. I'm not in the room. I didn't become a president. So let me just start with that preface.
So whatever I say, he can do whatever he wants to do. He became the president. I'm not the president. If I became president, maybe I would have done a different way. But again, I don't have access to all the information. You just have to realize, when you go to a negotiation, not everything's on the table. Like you asked me a question about a relationship earlier, and we're not going to talk publicly. It's not on the table. We're not negotiating this. In certain things in life, we're dictators. As a parent, not everything's negotiable with the kids. Oh. There are moments where parents must be a dictator. To allow these guys to come and steal our stuff and even think that they're going to be loyal to us, that's a numbers game. So you got 500 of them. How many Chinese nationals do you need to be 100% loyal to China to share our information with them? One out of 500. You don't need all of them. So it's like, well, it's not all of them. We'll go back to the same argument with, you know, not all Muslims are, you know, but hey, one percent is a lot. Half a percent billion out of two billion.
So to me, this is the part when sometimes Israel comes to your Adam. And I have a problem with this. This is the part that for me, I'm not the guy that's part of, oh my god, everything, everything, something happens. It's Israel's fault. I'm not part of that camp. But I tell you, if you're in US, and you serve the idea of more than you serve the US, I question your loyalty. You know, you know, what's the only bottom two religions that join, join, join, don't join the US army? It's Jews and Muslims. Why not? What's your loyalty to? I'm a Christian. I've served the military here. So it concerns me when your loyalty is to a different country. I don't play those games. Right. Sure. And I'm not, I'm not the conspiracy jumping all this other stuff. I think there needs to be a certain level of. No, if you are this, you can't work here. We're not sharing this technology with you at all. This is not a regular thing to collaborate with and cooperate with. Just because you want to get these other three deals,
then because everyone's going to say it's impossible. But the ramifications of this deal, we're not going to see for 20 years when we have three other presidents now. So I think, I think it's, like I said to you, I want to preface everything. I'm not the president. I didn't win an election. I'm not in the room. I don't have access to all the information. I'm just giving you my opinion. This makes me uncomfortable. It's that simple for me. It makes me very honest. Do you hear what happened like last night? What's that? What's your name? Jin Feng Zhang. She was arrested at LAX. She's accused of working for the Chinese government spying on Taiwan's son, his wife, his kids, taking pictures of his carpet. Why would you be sending that back to China? So they have leverage. If God forbid something happens, we got your, we got your son. Right. We got your wife. And it's at, remember during Biden, remember all those videos, Tommy, you actually sent me the video. All these Chinese nationals bringing them into the border, sending it, none of them spoke English. But besides a terrorist guy, dressed much differently than a lot of people that you could see were Mexican refugees. Absolutely. Coming from Northern provinces with this, H1B visa thing that Tom just posted.
Yeah. You know 73% of the H1B visas are from India. 12% are from China. Right. You just have to also know what people are bringing these concerns. Of course. But let's be super clear. Are we more worried about what's going on in India or with China? No, no, no. But I'm worried about both. Sir, sure. And but because what's more of a worry? I'll give you my answer. And it's China. It's not even a quote in the next five to 10 years. He would China with the next five to 10 years. It's China. Yeah. Don't get it twisted. India is doesn't think low of themselves. They think very highly of themselves. By the way, they should. They're the most populated country in the world. They get democracy in the world. And we have a decent relationship. And they should. We have rival. Yeah. We're rivals with China. But what I'm saying to me, it's different levels of competition. You cannot sit there and just think about crisis today. We built China to behemoth because of what Nixon did. China's a nobody without what America did for them and opened it up. China's a nobody without what Japan told them on what to do with the banks and opening up all these banks instead of just having two national banks
and you're not lending money. So to me, we built a monster. And now that monster who used to be, how are you? Oh, very. Oh, yes. Oh, yeah. Or so polite. Beyond closures, we're going to eat these people alive. They don't even know we're going to crush them. Only the paranoia survive, baby. And so, you know, my paranoia is to protect the greatest country in the world. And that's America. It's that simple. And if you have those philosophies and ideology, it's what I'm going to be doing. Doesn't mean I'm not in the room negotiating with you. It doesn't mean I'm not in the room talking. But there are certain things that should not be for sale. This is one of them. Would you completely limit H1B's? No, no, no, no, I'll tell you whatever. I'll tell you what I'm saying. Answer the question. And then I'm going to come to you. Would you completely eliminate H1B's from China? So to me, the way I see this, Adam, is say you take companies that have direct impact or maybe they're partners of America, the US government, that have access to information. So let me explain. So let's just say an anthropic.
Let's just say, volunteer. Let's just say whoever these companies are that are working as a partner to the US government that get access to certain information that is very highly intellectual property to us. Like a public private partner? Yes. That goes very deep. If I have things like that, not one single Chinese national can be working on that. I'm with you. Not one. I'm with you. If you're working at Nike and you're working at certain tier, it's like, let me put it to you this way. There's security. There's certain level of secret clearance and what you're doing. There is limits of what you're going to, what certain industry, I'm not even letting you compete with that. Is your concern, would you do that same thing with India? Or just with China? I would do that with that, with them as well. Again, would you do that with every country? By the way, do you know, do you know, do you know where Hindus lie? Where Hindus lie in the joining the US military? Can you do me a favor? Can you do me a favor and ask a simple question? What religions or what's the way to ask it? What immigrants that came to America
ask the question two different way? What immigrants that come to America joined the military the highest? You know, we did this research before. So I know you have it, Connor. I know you're in the back looking at this. You handed me this research. So it came from you. Join the US military. Why is that important to me? Always pay attention when people say the following. I would never let my kids join the US military. When people say that, there are people that say this on social media. If you haven't heard them already, that is one of the scariest things somebody says who lives in America. You know what you're saying? What are you saying? I'm sorry, where does patriotism come from? What is the ultimate way of showing patriotism? Serving. Okay, so now don't get me wrong. You can be a soldier in the military under the Democrat or Republican or you can do all that other stuff and not be happy with the president like you weren't happy with Bush or some people were not happy with all this other stuff. But the question becomes, there needs to be patriotism. I watch, you know who's number one by the way that joins the military?
I think it's press, is it a non-denominational press? But there is I think Catholics are number two. Do you find it? Can you zoom in please? Yeah, watch this. This is it. Yeah, zoom in a little bit. Look at this. Protestants are number one. Biggest percentage of those that joined the military. You know what's the lowest one after Jewish Hindu? That's what I was getting to. You see the point 04 percent? Jews are above them by 0.03 percent to 0.07. Look at where Muslims are at. 0.15. Then it's Buddhist. And guess where those four people are from? So your loyalty isn't to America. Why don't you join the US Army, the US Navy, the US Marines? I have a problem with that. So I look at you and I say, you claim your patriot? I am. Tell your kid to join the military. No, I don't want to. Do you're not a patriot? Do you just here to take advantage of the opportunity? So when you're telling me, am I also concerned with Indians? I am simply because of this data. Contribute to society. What do you think the parents are telling their kids? I have a, and by the way, keep this in mind.
I'm not telling you what they're like, well, you know, you raise your kids the wrong way. We tell our kids to go be engineers, doctors and this. I respect that. I think the style of Indian parenting, I've done a video on them to compliment them on how great they are with discipline and challenging them and pushing them. You know that one book called Tiger Mom or something like that. I blew up so millions of copies. It's a Chinese. It's like how hard mothers are and shout out to Mario's mom. I think Mario needs to write a book about his mom. Though those stories would, it would blow up. It's a very different story, less than or less. But those are, those are different kind of things we're talking about. But, but I would consider Chinese, China, an enemy or a competitor. I would not consider India a competitor. I would consider Israel and all of you for this different level. My level of paranoia for China is at a 90. My level of paranoia for India is at a 40. Okay. And my level of Israel not encouraging their folks to join the military here is at a 15. I judge you. I'm with you exactly. Join the flippin military.
Encourage your kids to join and serve. Well, it's any more about just giving back to your country. I do. It's not so much just joining the military. How do you, you could show your patriotism by not joining the military. That's not the only qualification of how you can show your kids. Why don't you don't? Why don't Hindus join the military at all? I don't know. I don't know the answer. I didn't join the military. That doesn't make me less patriotic. But, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, I get it. But, I'm sorry, Adam. Jews go join the idea of very high-percentive. They have to. What do they have to? Why do they? Well, in, in Israel, it's meant. Why, why do they do? Ask, I don't know. I didn't do that either. So, as that, it's called patriotism towards their country. Yeah. And I have a problem with that. I have a problem with Hindus, Buddhists and Jews who don't want to join the US military. I'm sorry. I'm a freaking middle. But, that doesn't make that doesn't make people less patriotic. They don't sign that. It is a four different thing. It's going on, I really look. I'm not making friends today. Trust me again. By me saying this, I'm not making friends today. 30 friends, Pat. But, I'm talking about what the audience watching this. I'm saying this to tell you,
there are certain things I don't compromise. America has to realize the future of war is going to be very, very different, very, very different. We don't just want our brilliant folks to go join and thropic open AI. We also want our brilliant folks to go join the CIA. We want our brilliant folks to go join the FBI. We want our brilliant folks to go join the military. We need M.I. in the military. God knows we need a lot of it right now because shit's getting real.
