Chad Gray, the frontman for Mudvane in Helia, just lost his first solo gig series called 30 Years of Madness. It kicked off Friday night, April 24th at the Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas. He rocked the stage with Helia guitarist Christian Brady, Mudvane touring guitarist Marcus Raffty, drummer Devon Atard, and a few other players. This March's Grey's debut solo shows, happening while Mudvane takes the whole year off from touring. It's his chance to dust off Helia tracks since that band went quiet back in early 2020 after COVID shut down their US tour. Fans caught the whole thing on video, and Grey's been open about needing this outlet. After 20 straight years of writing, recording, and touring, things slowed when Helia drummer Vinnie Paul passed.
