Candle Magick & Witchcraft in the Public Eye with Mystic Primrose

In this episode, I’m joined by the radiant and powerful Lilly of @MysticPrimrose, an influencer, serial entrepreneur, and modern-day witch whose online presence has grown to over 2.5 million followers since 2022.

Lilly shares how she began her path with witchcraft and built a wildly inspiring brand rooted in magic, manifestation, and visual spellwork. Together, we dive into her personal candle magick rituals, how she protects her energy in such a visible role, and what it really takes to teach witchcraft on platforms like Instagram.

We also explore -

Lilly’s candle magick process and favourite spell ingredients

Whether she works with deities, spirits, or self-sourced power

Her approach to boundaries, backlash, and privacy in the online space

Going viral, spiritual plagiarism, and teaching responsibly

Her thoughts on gatekeeping and what she keeps sacred

The spell that changed everything

Magical routines and rituals that keep her grounded

• Rapid Fire Witchy Qs — from herbs to hexes!

Whether you’re a seasoned witch or just starting your craft, this episode is a spell in itself — full of insights, honesty, and magic.

My newest seasonal zine — Crowned in Sunlight is available from the Solstice/Litha.

This Lammas issue is radiant, rooted, and rich with witch soul. It’s filled with Practical Magic–inspired spells, Hekate rituals, sun-drenched harvest wisdom, and a deep dive into what it really means to be a witch at the turning of the wheel.

Inside, you’ll find rituals for sovereignty and gratitude, reflections on The Witch’s Birthday, guidance for working with the Lionsgate Portal, and Inner Child healing practices designed to help you meet the radiant, soft, golden part of yourself you may have left behind.

It’s a celebration of light and shadow, ritual and remembrance — and it’s available from Summer Solstice.

There’s also a limited number of Lammas Witch Boxes to accompany the zine, filled with spell candles, incense, exclusive grimoire pages, and a little ritual treasure or two.

The Hedge & Hollow has arrived…

My Patreon has been fully re-enchanted into a seasonal home for witches and seekers — with monthly rituals, soul-led book circles, folklore magic, and more

This July, we step barefoot into The Thorned Garden — weaving with hedgewitch magic, plant spirits, and the shadowy wisdom of poisonous herbs. It’s a month of wild sovereignty, enchantress energy, and walking the thresholds between worlds.

Expect plant allies, poisonous lore, threshold rituals, and the dark bloom of your own inner wild.
