The Drive with T-Cross podcast is powered by Farah and Farah. Tampa accident attorneys. Great Tim Cartgative ESPN with a great preview of the American League Division series. You knew it was inevitable. Raise versus Yankees. The Yankees disposing of the Red Sox last night and two straight games to win the wildcard. And New York Yankees. New York Yankees. Ruth Gerig Demagio Mantle.
Costanza. Raise versus Yankees. Game one, ALDS Saturday at the trop at 630. That's going to be one heck of a series. Welcome you back to 52 and you're right home. Great to have you with us. So the rays have been working out. They've had some scrimmages this week. And now that they know that it's the Yankees, which I think they had a good idea. It was going to be the Yankees, especially after game one. Now the rays can respond accordingly. And I think that will affect how they put together their ALDS lineup. We know that Drew Rasmussen will start game one. I'm really interested in seeing how they approach games two, three, four and then five if necessary. Now I've been on record is saying. I think after Rasmussen game one, I think it should be Perolto who's been throwing the ball extremely well in game two at home. He's pitch well at the trop. And then I would go Nick Martinez game three.
I kind of like him and he's pitch well up in the Bronx as well. Recently, I like him with his ability to induce the soft contact against a lineup that can hit a lot of home runs as you know. I kind of like Nick Martinez on the road being that bulldog guy went to Fordham up in the Bronx. So he's familiar with that territory. And then game four, you could play around a little bit in terms of having Griffin jacks and or Ian Seymour Seymour is also throwing well against the Yankees. I think you go to see him in the series. And then you come back with Rasmussen game five. I think if you're the Yankees, I'm interested in seeing how they go about it. I think you're going to see Cam Schlipler as I mentioned yesterday. The Yankees is smart and Aaron Boone is on it. I would throw Schlipler in game two, which is Monday and then come back with him for a game five at the trop on Saturday on four days rest or regular rest.
He just threw 117 pitches. So it works out perfectly for the Yankees. So you have Schlipler like on five days rest going in game two. And then four days rest going potentially in a game five. But this is going to be fascinating how the rays work this out. And you heard him coach and mention it. The numbers for the rays look. They're pitching staff meeting the rays issued the fewest walks in baseball in the regular season. And they have the kind of playing style that really frustrated and unnerved the Yankees at times with the bumping and the speed led by Chandler Simpson. It's not just Chandler Simpson though. It's the rest of the guys. It's Taylor Walls who contributes. It's, you know, Johnny DeLuca, it's Cedric Mullins. I mean, they really all get in on it and they force you to make plays against them. So you have to be very good defensively, very sharp and you got to know where you're supposed to go with the ball, etc, etc. And the rays will force you into those uncomfortable situations.
I think it's going to be a heck of a series. Well, look, here's also one thing to keep in mind. The rays are not scared. They're not afraid of the Yankees nor should they be. They won the season series. Seven six. They have confidence. And I do believe I remember talking to Taylor Walls about this several weeks ago. I think the rays kind of turn their season around. Remember they had the two and five star and everyone thought they were going to lose 100 games. I told you guys just relax. Calm down. And the rays turned around when they swept the Yankees back in April, I believe. I think that's what gave them a confidence. And you know what? We just swept these guys. We think we could be pretty good. So the rays are not going to back down. I think it's going to be a great series. Well pitch series Yankees starting pitching obviously is tremendous. Ray starting pitching is also very, very good. And the ball pen I think is going to be huge who makes a team who doesn't.
I think it goes to full five with the race having a chance to win it because they've been the best home team in Major League Baseball all season. It's going to be a great match up though. Very intense. I know it's going to be a lot of people when it was the Yankees decided the price prices by the way, the Trump. There's only like a handful of tickets available for Saturday and that number is sky high. Like if you don't have $300 honestly, like you're not getting in the building. That's just how it is. Especially with the Yankees now being involved that I'm sure a lot of their fans will be there on Saturday. A lot of race fans will be there too. This is going to be a great, great atmosphere, great Saturday, six 30. Of course we are your home for race baseball right here on 95, seven W D A E and AM 620. We're going to be all over it.
