Bondi hero Ahmed Al Ahmed cleared of assault charges

Ahmed Al Ahmed, the Bondi terror attack hero, has been cleared of assault and intimidation charges at Bankstown Court after two family members withdrew their witness statements. The 44-year-old had been accused of assaulting his father during a domestic dispute in March, but police dropped the case when his brothers refused to testify. Eight months after the Bondi Beach incident that earned him international recognition and over $2 million in donations, Ahmed continues to suffer from shrapnel wounds in his arm and chest with no feeling in his fingers.
