So it should seem to be a very easy awreida to do. The awreida of Sime'h should not be something so difficult.
Everyone wants to be happy, so why would it be considered something that's challenging? And yet, the Vilna Gain said that the most difficult Mitsumah in the ta'ira is the Mitsumah of Sime'h and Sookis. And simply put, the reason why it's a difficult Mitsumah is to stay happy for eight days straight is something that's very difficult. But there's more to it. As much as people want to be happy, it's difficult to be happy. Why? There are all different kinds of distractions and stresses that come up in a person's life that influences mindset and do not allow him to be happy. We mentioned earlier Apasuk, Ashre, Shakyal, Yaka, Ezre, Sivrayala, Shemalikov. Fortune is the person that his saver, his anticipation, his reliance is on the Rabaynishleva. Such a person is fortunate.
The Apasuk is teaching us that the reason why a person allows difficulties and stresses to disturb his Mdukhasanaifish, to disturb his Sime'h is because it's a lack of a Muna'bidakh. A person who lives with saver is Ashre. He's fortunate. He's a happy person. And Matasio Salaman Zakhine Levarach used to say that the Shahr has Sime'h in the Archist's Sadikim is almost identical to the Shahr of Betakhine in the Chaiveshavavus, because Sime'h and Betakhine are synonymous. So the reason why Sime'h is so difficult is because people allow circumstances and difficulties to take away from their Sime'h, to take away from the Mdukhasanaifish. But if a person is able to feel Betakhine, is able to feel saver, then he's Ashre, then he's fortunate. Such a person will be Bism'hah, and will not allow situations to take away from his attitude.
