I'm Mikey. I've noticed I didn't want to say anything earlier, but you're in a different location today. You're not in your normal spot. What is going on there? I am in my son's room because we had a weekend here at the Mikey A house. So Sunday morning, I went into my office at 1130 to check the fantasy in-actives, and I hear this buzzing behind me. I turn around and there's a wasp in my office. A wasp. Yeah, how'd that get in here? Let me go kill that thing. I get up and I'm stalking it like a cat getting ready to pounce.
Right. And then another one comes out. And then another one. And then another one. And before I knew it, there was about eight to ten of them coming out from the window. Right. So, uh, me being the the the masculine man that I am, I go, I have to check my family, I have to protect my home. And I ran and I got a can of raid from the garage. Put a red bandana around my head, pulled it tight like Rambo. Nice. Took off my shirt. Right. Went in there and I was like, here we go. And I might have gotten a little trigger happy with the can of raid. Right. And I killed probably 15 of them. Nice. And shut the window. Mm-hmm. And my wife comes in and says, what are you doing? Right. So, what do you mean? What am I done protecting this house?
Right. I'm saving your life. Yes. She goes, what's that smell? And I looked in the can of raid said for outdoor use only. Now, when I tell you, I had no idea. That while aggressive in trying to kill these wasps, I was not surgical. I sprayed it everywhere. Right. I mean, and this is some sort of oil-based poison that I'm spraying indoors. Right. In the house. That is sticking to the walls and is discoloring the paint. And there's toxic fumes. Right. Now, uh, everywhere. Right. And the worst part is, they're still coming in and I don't know from where.
So, you were trying to save your family from being killed by wasps. And what you ended up doing was killing them with raid. Yes. And my wife was literally scrubbing the floor because it was so oily from the spray. Right. Screaming at me. Yes. What were you thinking? Mm-hmm. I was like, is that, is that, this is, this is literally the plot to the Incredibles movie. Yes. It's like, yeah. You are, you are upset with a superhero saving the town because they made a little bit of a mess. Right. Like, and when you're saving your family's life, you don't think you just do what you gotta do. Right. In the moment. Yes. So, I don't want to downplay the heroics, but what's the, what's the current situation with the room? Because it doesn't sound like we've got a resolution. It's closed off. There's every time I go in there, there's two or three more. I don't know where it has been. I'm at suit to go in there. I mean, or, or you have to go in to put together spots. How long before the room is fixed?
Gotta figure out, gotta figure out how to pay for an exterminator before we start worrying about right, how long until it's fixed. Can we go back to some of the details here? Did you really, did you really put a red bandan on at Ty and Barry? Or so we type like Rambo? Why? Because I was going to war. And now, let me explain. Yes. That if you were to, when you asked me the story, I was in there doing a masculine scream, you know, like, get out of here. You're in my house. But if you asked my wife, she said you heard, she heard, and I'm not gonna lie, there is definitely two raid stains on the ceiling and those were absolute panic shots. Wow. So I am so bad with things around the house and situations like this, where, Mikey, I think you've handled the situation better than I would have at this point, because the second I see five or six wask, it's the wask house at that point. I think I'm just living out. Yeah. Wait, what are you doing exactly? You're just moving out of the house?
That's it. Just moving out, yeah. The house is a lost cause at that point. It's hard for me to make fun of Mikey because there was a bullfrog in my house once and I call the cops. I mean, I didn't know what to do. But I feel like you probably should have called someone, like an authority, like a fireman or like, it's a waste of their time and exterminator. Yeah. That's that's that's on the agenda, right? No, I'm saying yesterday. Not now. Not after you've made the mistake. Well, that should have been your first call, though. Listen, it was 1145. Football kicks off at one man. Yeah, you're just trying to get rid of the problem and get back to your television by one and calling us. I'm just trying to just trying to kick the bucket till tonight. Right. You call someone up. It's 2 30 in the afternoon, maybe 3 3 30. You're waiting around all day. You're not focused on football. You just wanted to watch football and you didn't care about the wasp. And so now the wife is mad at you, right? And she's not. I thought I had solved the problem. I thought I had killed the wasps. Shut the window. Stop the infestation.
Apparently I did not. Okay. When you went down, I am regulated to being in my kids room to record this stuff on my laptop. Right. And my my my office is is shut off. When your wife saw you in that bandana, tied very tightly, shirtless. What are you shirtless or who you just without arms? Without sleeves. Listen, I had I had a can of rain. Right. Strapped around my chest. Like bullets. I'm just wondering if you found that attractive at all. She did until she got a headache from the toxic fume to the air. You were headed towards some sort of sensual evening. You think maybe I was I listen. I was just sitting there going like who wouldn't find this? I'm sitting here protecting my family. From this infestation of things that want to harm my children and my wife. And I'm not in my house.
Right. Not here. Yeah. This is where Mike lives. Right. And I hope he damned if you're going to come in his house uninvited. But really, I was probably screaming very high pitched. I didn't know that about Raid Taylor. Were you were you aware of that? I figured Raid you could use it inside outside. I mean, what are we doing? Well, this particular can was it was an outdoor use only to kill was and it was very clear that that it was there's a reason why. What I've learned. And it very clearly states it on the bottle. I do not I would love to blame Raid, but it very clearly states on the bottle for outdoor use only. Stu got these two hands have never picked up a bottle of Raid. You think these two have? But I love Mikey just shooting his shots everywhere and not caring that he's getting Raid all over the city. You're an accurate. Listen, tell that to the wasp some inaccurate.
