Bailey Shines as Jets Edge Rusher | New York Jets News

Rookie edge rusher David Bailey is dominating Jets training camp with explosive speed and three would-be sacks, earning high praise from coach Aaron Glenn for his run-stopping ability and overall impact. Bailey’s standout play is complemented by Kingsley Enagbare, who paired with him for a sack on the final play — Enagbare calling Bailey a future star. The team is carefully ramping up reps, targeting 65-75 plays per game by opening day. Running backs are carrying heavy loads, while receivers and tight ends get more reps. QB Cade Klubnik, despite an early fumble, showed leadership with strong throws. Special teams saw solid kicking from Cade York and Jason Sanders, and Dane Belton forced a fumble on Breece Hall. Two WRs, Gee Scott and Jalen Walthall, are sidelined with minor injuries.
